About Reasha
A digital Islamic library: the Qur’an, the hadith corpus and the classical teaching texts, set carefully and easy to read.
What we are trying to do
Reasha publishes the texts from their accepted sources, transcribed with care and checked against the printed critical editions, in a setting that respects Arabic typography and reads well on any screen. Everything is hosted by us: nothing on the page is fetched from a third party while you read it, so the content stays available and stays as we checked it.
On the English side
The Qur’an
The mushaf in its own pages in the King Fahd Complex typeface, with translation, tafsir, the readings (qirā’āt), word-by-word grammar, tajweed colouring, recitations by many reciters, and several reading modes: page, table, book and screen.
Quizzes
Short multiple-choice sets with a study page for each: Qur’anic vocabulary, Arabic language, and counting for young learners. Answers are graded on the server and your attempts are kept.
And on the Arabic side
The Arabic site carries the wider library: the six books of hadith along with “Umdat al-Aḥkām and Bulūgh al-Marām reconciled to their printed editions, the didactic poems with their commentaries and recitation, the creed texts with print-ready PDFs, and fiqh. Switch the language from the menu at any time, the Arabic site is here.
