The Slanderer
1 وَيۡلٞ لِّكُلِّ هُمَزَةٖ لُّمَزَةٍwaylunويلوَيْلٌWoelikulliلكللِّكُلِّto everyhumazatinهمزةهُمَزَةٍslandererlumazatinلمزةلُّمَزَةٍbackbiter!Woe unto every slandering traducer,Woe to every backbiter and slanderer,Woe to every scorner and mockerWoe to every (kind of) scandal-monger and-backbiter,
2 ٱلَّذِي جَمَعَ مَالٗا وَعَدَّدَهُۥalladhīالذيٱلَّذِىThe one whojamaʿaجمعجَمَعَcollectsmālanمالامَالًاwealthwaʿaddadahuوعددهوَعَدَّدَهُۥand counts it.Who hath gathered wealth (of this world) and arranged it.who amasses wealth and counts it over and again[1],Who collects wealth and [continuously] counts it.[1987]Who pileth up wealth and layeth it by,
3 يَحۡسَبُ أَنَّ مَالَهُۥٓ أَخۡلَدَهُۥyaḥsabuيحسبيَحْسَبُThinkingannaأنأَنَّthatmālahuمالهمَالَهُۥٓhis wealthakhladahuأخلدهأَخْلَدَهُۥwill make him immortalHe thinketh that his wealth will render him immortal.thinking that his wealth will make him live forever.He thinks that his wealth will make him immortal.Thinking that his wealth would make him last for ever!
4 كَلَّاۖ لَيُنۢبَذَنَّ فِي ٱلۡحُطَمَةِkallāكلاكَلَّاNay!layunbadhannaلينبذنلَيُنۢبَذَنَّSurely he will be thrownfīفيفِىinl-ḥuṭamatiالحطمةٱلْحُطَمَةِthe Crusher.Nay, but verily he will be flung to the Consuming One.No indeed! He will surely be cast into the Crushing Fire[2],No! He will surely be thrown into the Crusher.[1988]By no means! He will be sure to be thrown into That which Breaks to Pieces,
5 وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلۡحُطَمَةُwamāوماوَمَآAnd whatadrākaأدراكأَدْرَىٰكَwill make you knowmāمامَاwhatl-ḥuṭamatuالحطمةٱلْحُطَمَةُthe Crusher (is)?Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Consuming One is!and how do you know what the Crushing Fire is?And what can make you know what is the Crusher?And what will explain to thee That which Breaks to Pieces?
6 نَارُ ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡمُوقَدَةُnāruنارنَارُA Firel-lahiاللهٱللَّهِAllahl-mūqadatuالموقدةٱلْمُوقَدَةُkindled,(It is) the fire of Allah, kindled,It is the kindled Fire of Allah,It is the fire of Allāh, [eternally] fueled,(It is) the Fire of (the Wrath of) Allah kindled (to a blaze),
7 ٱلَّتِي تَطَّلِعُ عَلَى ٱلۡأَفۡـِٔدَةِallatīالتيٱلَّتِىWhichtaṭṭaliʿuتطلعتَطَّلِعُmounts upʿalāعلىعَلَىtol-afidatiالأفئدةٱلْأَفْـِٔدَةِthe hearts.Which leapeth up over the hearts (of men).which reaches the hearts[3].Which mounts directed at the hearts.[1989]The which doth mount (Right) to the Hearts:
8 إِنَّهَا عَلَيۡهِم مُّؤۡصَدَةٞinnahāإنهاإِنَّهَاIndeed, itʿalayhimعليهمعَلَيْهِم(will be) upon themmu'ṣadatunمؤصدةمُّؤْصَدَةٌclosed over,Lo! it is closed in on themIt will be closed down upon them,Indeed, it [i.e., Hellfire] will be closed down upon themIt shall be made into a vault over them,
9 فِي عَمَدٖ مُّمَدَّدَةِۭfīفيفِىInʿamadinعمدعَمَدٍcolumnsmumaddadatinممددةمُّمَدَّدَةٍۭextended.In outstretched columns.locked with towering columns[4].In extended columns.[1990]In columns outstretched.
1 وَيْلٌ لِّكُلِّ هُمَزَةٍ لُّمَزَةٍ
2 الَّذِي جَمَعَ مَالًا وَعَدَّدَهُ
3 يَحْسَبُ أَنَّ مَالَهُ أَخْلَدَهُ
4 كَلَّا لَيُنبَذَنَّ فِي الْحُطَمَةِ
5 وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا الْحُطَمَةُ
6 نَارُ اللَّهِ الْمُوقَدَةُ
7 الَّتِي تَطَّلِعُ عَلَى الْأَفْئِدَةِ
8 إِنَّهَا عَلَيْهِم مُّؤْصَدَةٌ
9 فِي عَمَدٍ مُّمَدَّدَةٍ

ﱛ ﱗ ﱘ ﱙ ﱚ
ﱠ ﱜ ﱝ ﱞ ﱟ
ﱦ ﱡﱢ ﱣ ﱤ ﱥ
ﱫ ﱧ ﱨ ﱩ ﱪ
ﱯ ﱬ ﱭ ﱮ
ﱴ ﱰ ﱱ ﱲ ﱳ
ﱸ ﱵ ﱶ ﱷ
ﱼ ﱹ ﱺ ﱻ
ﱒ ﱓ ﱔ ﱕ ﱖ ﱗ ﱘ ﱙ ﱚ ﱛ
ﱜ ﱝ ﱞ ﱟ ﱠ ﱡﱢ ﱣ ﱤ ﱥ ﱦ
ﱧ ﱨ ﱩ ﱪ ﱫ ﱬ ﱭ ﱮ ﱯ ﱰ ﱱ
ﱲ ﱳ ﱴ ﱵ ﱶ ﱷ ﱸ ﱹ ﱺ ﱻ ﱼ
وَيْلٌ لِّكُلِّ هُمَزَةٍ لُّمَزَةٍ ١ الَّذِي جَمَعَ مَالًا وَعَدَّدَهُ ٢
يَحْسَبُ أَنَّ مَالَهُ أَخْلَدَهُ ٣ كَلَّا لَيُنبَذَنَّ فِي الْحُطَمَةِ ٤
وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا الْحُطَمَةُ ٥ نَارُ اللَّهِ الْمُوقَدَةُ ٦ الَّتِي تَطَّلِعُ
عَلَى الْأَفْئِدَةِ ٧ إِنَّهَا عَلَيْهِم مُّؤْصَدَةٌ ٨ فِي عَمَدٍ مُّمَدَّدَةٍ ٩
وَيْلَ لِّكُلِّ هُمَزَةٖ لُّمَزَةٍ ۝١ ٱلَّذِي جَمَعَ مَالٗا وَعَدَّدَهُ ۝٢
يَحْسَبُ أَنَّ مَالَهُٓ أَخْلَدَهُ ۝٣ كَلَّاۖ لَيُنۢبَذَنَّ فِي ٱلْحُطَمَةِ ۝٤
وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلْحُطَمَةُ ۝٥ نَارُ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْمُوقَدَةُ ۝٦ ٱلَّتِي تَطَّلِعُ
عَلَى ٱلْأَفْـِٔدَةِ ۝٧ إِنَّهَا عَلَيْهِم مُّؤْصَدَةَ ۝٨ فِي عَمَدٖ مُّمَدَّدَةِۭ ۝٩
ﱒ ﱓ ﱔ ﱕ ﱖ ﱗ ﱘ ﱙ ﱚ ﱛ
ﱜ ﱝ ﱞ ﱟ ﱠ ﱡﱢ ﱣ ﱤ ﱥ ﱦ
ﱧ ﱨ ﱩ ﱪ ﱫ ﱬ ﱭ ﱮ ﱯ ﱰ ﱱ
