The Jinn
| 1 | قُلۡ أُوحِيَ إِلَيَّ أَنَّهُ ٱسۡتَمَعَ نَفَرٞ مِّنَ ٱلۡجِنِّ فَقَالُوٓاْ إِنَّا سَمِعۡنَا قُرۡءَانًا عَجَبٗاqulقلقُلْSay,ūḥiyaأوحيأُوحِىَ"It has been revealedilayyaإليإِلَىَّto meannahuأنهأَنَّهُthatis'tamaʿaاستمعٱسْتَمَعَlistenednafarunنفرنَفَرٌa groupminaمنمِّنَofl-jiniالجنٱلْجِنِّthe jinn,faqālūفقالوافَقَالُوٓاْand they said,innāإناإِنَّا"Indeed, wesamiʿ'nāسمعناسَمِعْنَاheardqur'ānanقرآناقُرْءَانًاa Quranʿajabanعجباعَجَبًاamazing,Say (O Muhammad): It is revealed unto me that a company of the Jinn gave ear, and they said: Lo! we have heard a marvellous Qur'an,Say, “It has been revealed to me that a group of jinn listened [to the Qur’an,] and they said, ‘Indeed, we have heard a wondrous recitationSay, [O Muḥammad], "It has been revealed to me that a group of the jinn listened and said, 'Indeed, we have heard an amazing Qur’ān [i.e., recitation].Say: It has been revealed to me that a company of Jinns listened (to the Qur'an). They said, 'We have really heard a wonderful Recital! |
| 2 | يَهۡدِيٓ إِلَى ٱلرُّشۡدِ فَـَٔامَنَّا بِهِۦۖ وَلَن نُّشۡرِكَ بِرَبِّنَآ أَحَدٗاyahdīيهدييَهْدِىٓIt guidesilāإلىإِلَىtol-rush'diالرشدٱلرُّشْدِthe right way,faāmannāفآمنافَـَٔامَنَّاso we believebihiبهبِهِۦin it,walanولنوَلَنand nevernush'rikaنشركنُّشْرِكَwe will associatebirabbināبربنابِرَبِّنَآwith our Lordaḥadanأحداأَحَدًاanyone.Which guideth unto righteousness, so we believe in it and we ascribe no partner unto our Lord.that guides to the right way, so we have believed in it, and we will never associate anyone with our Lord.It guides to the right course, and we have believed in it. And we will never associate with our Lord anyone.'It gives guidance to the Right, and we have believed therein: we shall not join (in worship) any (gods) with our Lord. |
| 3 | وَأَنَّهُۥ تَعَٰلَىٰ جَدُّ رَبِّنَا مَا ٱتَّخَذَ صَٰحِبَةٗ وَلَا وَلَدٗاwa-annahuوأنهوَأَنَّهُۥAnd that He -taʿālāتعالىتَعَٰلَىٰExalted isjadduجدجَدُّ(the) Majestyrabbināربنارَبِّنَا(of) our Lord -māمامَاnotittakhadhaاتخذٱتَّخَذَHe has takenṣāḥibatanصاحبةصَٰحِبَةًa wifewalāولاوَلَاand notwaladanولداوَلَدًاa son,And (we believe) that He - exalted be the glory of our Lord! - hath taken neither wife nor son,And that He – our exalted and glorified Lord[1] – has neither taken a wife nor a child;And [it teaches] that exalted is the nobleness of our Lord; He has not taken a wife or a son'And Exalted is the Majesty of our Lord: He has taken neither a wife nor a son. |
| 4 | وَأَنَّهُۥ كَانَ يَقُولُ سَفِيهُنَا عَلَى ٱللَّهِ شَطَطٗاwa-annahuوأنهوَأَنَّهُۥAnd that hekānaكانكَانَused toyaqūluيقوليَقُولُspeak -safīhunāسفيهناسَفِيهُنَاthe foolish among usʿalāعلىعَلَىagainstl-lahiاللهٱللَّهِAllahshaṭaṭanشططاشَطَطًاan excessive transgression.And that the foolish one among us used to speak concerning Allah an atrocious lie.and that the fool among us [i.e., Satan] used to say outrageous things about Allah[2],And that our foolish one [i.e., Iblees][1766] has been saying about Allāh an excessive transgression.'There were some foolish ones among us, who used to utter extravagant lies against Allah; |
| 5 | وَأَنَّا ظَنَنَّآ أَن لَّن تَقُولَ ٱلۡإِنسُ وَٱلۡجِنُّ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ كَذِبٗاwa-annāوأناوَأَنَّاAnd that weẓanannāظنناظَنَنَّآthoughtanأنأَنthatlanلنلَّنnevertaqūlaتقولتَقُولَwill sayl-insuالإنسٱلْإِنسُthe menwal-jinuوالجنوَٱلْجِنُّand the jinn,ʿalāعلىعَلَىagainstl-lahiاللهٱللَّهِAllahkadhibanكذباكَذِبًاany lie.And lo! we had supposed that humankind and jinn would not speak a lie concerning Allah -although we thought that humans and jinn would never tell lies about Allah.And we had thought that mankind and the jinn would never speak about Allāh a lie.'But we do think that no man or spirit should say aught that untrue against Allah. |
| 6 | وَأَنَّهُۥ كَانَ رِجَالٞ مِّنَ ٱلۡإِنسِ يَعُوذُونَ بِرِجَالٖ مِّنَ ٱلۡجِنِّ فَزَادُوهُمۡ رَهَقٗاwa-annahuوأنهوَأَنَّهُۥAnd thatkānaكانكَانَ(there) wererijālunرجالرِجَالٌmenminaمنمِّنَamongl-insiالإنسٱلْإِنسِmankindyaʿūdhūnaيعوذونيَعُوذُونَwho sought refugebirijālinبرجالبِرِجَالٍin (the) menminaمنمِّنَfroml-jiniالجنٱلْجِنِّthe jinn,fazādūhumفزادوهمفَزَادُوهُمْso they increased themrahaqanرهقارَهَقًا(in) burden.And indeed (O Muhammad) individuals of humankind used to invoke the protection of individuals of the jinn, so that they increased them in revolt against Allah);And there were some men who used to seek refuge with some jinn, but they only increased them in burden.And there were men from mankind who sought refuge in men from the jinn, so they [only] increased them in burden [i.e., sin].'True, there were persons among mankind who took shelter with persons among the Jinns, but they increased them in folly. |
| 7 | وَأَنَّهُمۡ ظَنُّواْ كَمَا ظَنَنتُمۡ أَن لَّن يَبۡعَثَ ٱللَّهُ أَحَدٗاwa-annahumوأنهموَأَنَّهُمْAnd that theyẓannūظنواظَنُّواْthoughtkamāكماكَمَاasẓanantumظننتمظَنَنتُمْyou thoughtanأنأَنthatlanلنلَّنneveryabʿathaيبعثيَبْعَثَwill raisel-lahuاللهٱللَّهُAllahaḥadanأحداأَحَدًاanyone.And indeed they supposed, even as ye suppose, that Allah would not raise anyone (from the dead) -They thought, just like you [jinn] thought that Allah would never send any messenger.And they had thought, as you thought, that Allāh would never send anyone [as a messenger].'And they (came to) think as ye thought, that Allah would not raise up any one (to Judgment). |
| 8 | وَأَنَّا لَمَسۡنَا ٱلسَّمَآءَ فَوَجَدۡنَٰهَا مُلِئَتۡ حَرَسٗا شَدِيدٗا وَشُهُبٗاwa-annāوأناوَأَنَّاAnd that welamasnāلمسنالَمَسْنَاsought to touchl-samāaالسماءٱلسَّمَآءَthe heavenfawajadnāhāفوجدناهافَوَجَدْنَٰهَاbut we found itmuli-atملئتمُلِئَتْfilled (with)ḥarasanحرساحَرَسًاguardsshadīdanشديداشَدِيدًاsevere,washuhubanوشهباوَشُهُبًاand flaming fires.And (the Jinn who had listened to the Qur'an said): We had sought the heaven but had found it filled with strong warders and meteors.We have sought to reach heaven but found it filled with stern guards and flaming fire.And we have sought [to reach] the heaven but found it filled with powerful guards and burning flames.'And we pried into the secrets of heaven; but we found it filled with stern guards and flaming fires. |
| 9 | وَأَنَّا كُنَّا نَقۡعُدُ مِنۡهَا مَقَٰعِدَ لِلسَّمۡعِۖ فَمَن يَسۡتَمِعِ ٱلۡأٓنَ يَجِدۡ لَهُۥ شِهَابٗا رَّصَدٗاwa-annāوأناوَأَنَّاAnd that wekunnāكناكُنَّاused tonaqʿuduنقعدنَقْعُدُsitmin'hāمنهامِنْهَاthere inmaqāʿidaمقاعدمَقَٰعِدَpositionslilssamʿiللسمعلِلسَّمْعِfor hearing,famanفمنفَمَنbut (he) whoyastamiʿiيستمعيَسْتَمِعِlistensl-ānaالآنٱلْءَانَnowyajidيجديَجِدْwill findlahuلهلَهُۥfor himshihābanشهاباشِهَابًاa flaming fireraṣadanرصدارَّصَدًاwaiting.And we used to sit on places (high) therein to listen. But he who listeneth now findeth a flame in wait for him;We used to take up positions there for eavesdropping, but now anyone who eavesdrops will find a flaming fire waiting for him[3].And we used to sit therein in positions for hearing,[1767] but whoever listens now will find a burning flame lying in wait for him.'We used, indeed, to sit there in (hidden) stations, to (steal) a hearing; but any who listen now will find a flaming fire watching him in ambush. |
| 10 | وَأَنَّا لَا نَدۡرِيٓ أَشَرٌّ أُرِيدَ بِمَن فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ أَمۡ أَرَادَ بِهِمۡ رَبُّهُمۡ رَشَدٗاwa-annāوأناوَأَنَّاAnd that we -lāلالَاnotnadrīندرينَدْرِىٓwe knowasharrunأشرأَشَرٌّwhether evilurīdaأريدأُرِيدَis intendedbimanبمنبِمَنfor (those) whofīفيفِى(are) inl-arḍiالأرضٱلْأَرْضِthe earthamأمأَمْorarādaأرادأَرَادَintendsbihimبهمبِهِمْfor themrabbuhumربهمرَبُّهُمْtheir Lordrashadanرشدارَشَدًاa right path.And we know not whether harm is boded unto all who are in the earth, or whether their Lord intendeth guidance for them.We do not know whether evil is intended for those on earth, or their Lord intends good for them.And we do not know [therefore] whether evil is intended for those on earth or whether their Lord intends for them a right course.'And we understand not whether ill is intended to those on earth, or whether their Lord (really) intends to guide them to right conduct. |
| 11 | وَأَنَّا مِنَّا ٱلصَّٰلِحُونَ وَمِنَّا دُونَ ذَٰلِكَۖ كُنَّا طَرَآئِقَ قِدَدٗاwa-annāوأناوَأَنَّاAnd that [we]minnāمنامِنَّاamong usl-ṣāliḥūnaالصالحونٱلصَّٰلِحُونَ(are) the righteouswaminnāومناوَمِنَّاand among usdūnaدوندُونَ(are) other thandhālikaذلكذَٰلِكَthat.kunnāكناكُنَّاWeṭarāiqaطرائقطَرَآئِقَ(are on) waysqidadanقدداقِدَدًاdifferent.And among us there are righteous folk and among us there are far from that. We are sects having different rules.Among us are some who are righteous and some who are otherwise, for we follow divergent ways[4].And among us are the righteous, and among us are [others] not so; we were [of] divided ways.[1768]'There are among us some that are righteous, and some the contrary: we follow divergent paths. |
| 12 | وَأَنَّا ظَنَنَّآ أَن لَّن نُّعۡجِزَ ٱللَّهَ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَلَن نُّعۡجِزَهُۥ هَرَبٗاwa-annāوأناوَأَنَّاAnd that weẓanannāظنناظَنَنَّآ[we] have become certainanأنأَنthatlanلنلَّنnevernuʿ'jizaنعجزنُّعْجِزَwe will cause failurel-lahaاللهٱللَّهَ(to) Allahfīفيفِىinl-arḍiالأرضٱلْأَرْضِthe earthwalanولنوَلَنand nevernuʿ'jizahuنعجزهنُّعْجِزَهُۥwe can escape Himharabanهرباهَرَبًا(by) flight.And we know that we cannot escape from Allah in the earth, nor can we escape by flight.We have realized that we can never escape Allah on earth, nor can we ever escape Him by fleeing.And we have become certain that we will never cause failure to Allāh upon earth, nor can we escape Him by flight.'But we think that we can by no means frustrate Allah throughout the earth, nor can we frustrate Him by flight. |
| 13 | وَأَنَّا لَمَّا سَمِعۡنَا ٱلۡهُدَىٰٓ ءَامَنَّا بِهِۦۖ فَمَن يُؤۡمِنۢ بِرَبِّهِۦ فَلَا يَخَافُ بَخۡسٗا وَلَا رَهَقٗاwa-annāوأناوَأَنَّاAnd that [we]lammāلمالَمَّاwhensamiʿ'nāسمعناسَمِعْنَاwe heardl-hudāالهدىٱلْهُدَىٰٓthe Guidanceāmannāآمناءَامَنَّاwe believedbihiبهبِهِۦin it.famanفمنفَمَنAnd whoeveryu'minيؤمنيُؤْمِنۢbelievesbirabbihiبربهبِرَبِّهِۦin his Lord,falāفلافَلَاthen notyakhāfuيخافيَخَافُhe will fearbakhsanبخسابَخْسًاany losswalāولاوَلَاand notrahaqanرهقارَهَقًاany burden.And when we heard the guidance, we believed therein, and whoso believeth in his Lord, he feareth neither loss nor oppression.When we heard the guidance [of the Qur’an], we believed in it. Whoever believes in his Lord will have no fear of curtailment [from his reward] or injustice[5].And when we heard the guidance [i.e., the Qur’ān], we believed in it. And whoever believes in his Lord will not fear deprivation or burden.[1769]'And as for us, since we have listened to the Guidance, we have accepted it: and any who believes in his Lord has no fear, either of a short (account) or of any injustice. |
| 14 | وَأَنَّا مِنَّا ٱلۡمُسۡلِمُونَ وَمِنَّا ٱلۡقَٰسِطُونَۖ فَمَنۡ أَسۡلَمَ فَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ تَحَرَّوۡاْ رَشَدٗاwa-annāوأناوَأَنَّاAnd that we,minnāمنامِنَّاamong usl-mus'limūnaالمسلمونٱلْمُسْلِمُونَ(are) Muslimswaminnāومناوَمِنَّاand among usl-qāsiṭūnaالقاسطونٱلْقَٰسِطُونَ(are) unjust.famanفمنفَمَنْAnd whoeveraslamaأسلمأَسْلَمَsubmits,fa-ulāikaفأولئكفَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَthen thosetaḥarrawتحرواتَحَرَّوْاْhave soughtrashadanرشدارَشَدًا(the) right path.And there are among us some who have surrendered (to Allah) and there are among us some who are unjust. And whoso hath surrendered to Allah, such have taken the right path purposefully.Among us are some who are Muslims and some who are deviant[6]. Those who accepted Islam have sought the true guidance,And among us are Muslims [in submission to Allāh], and among us are the unjust.[1770] And whoever has become Muslim - those have sought out the right course.'Amongst us are some that submit their wills (to Allah), and some that swerve from justice. Now those who submit their wills - they have sought out (the path) of right conduct: |
| 15 | وَأَمَّا ٱلۡقَٰسِطُونَ فَكَانُواْ لِجَهَنَّمَ حَطَبٗاwa-ammāوأماوَأَمَّاAnd as forl-qāsiṭūnaالقاسطونٱلْقَٰسِطُونَthe unjust,fakānūفكانوافَكَانُواْthey will be,lijahannamaلجهنملِجَهَنَّمَfor Hell,ḥaṭabanحطباحَطَبًاfirewood."And as for those who are unjust, they are firewood for hell.but those who are deviant, they will be fuel for Hell.’”But as for the unjust, they will be, for Hell, firewood.''But those who swerve,- they are (but) fuel for Hell-fire'- |
| 16 | وَأَلَّوِ ٱسۡتَقَٰمُواْ عَلَى ٱلطَّرِيقَةِ لَأَسۡقَيۡنَٰهُم مَّآءً غَدَقٗاwa-allawiوأن لووَأَلَّوِAnd that ifis'taqāmūاستقامواٱسْتَقَٰمُواْthey had remainedʿalāعلىعَلَىonl-ṭarīqatiالطريقةٱلطَّرِيقَةِthe Way,la-asqaynāhumلأسقيناهملَأَسْقَيْنَٰهُمsurely We (would) have given them to drinkmāanماءمَّآءًwaterghadaqanغدقاغَدَقًا(in) abundance,If they (the idolaters) tread the right path, We shall give them to drink of water in abundance“If they had remained steadfast on the right way, We would have given them abundant rain,And [Allāh revealed] that if they had remained straight on the way, We would have given them abundant rain [i.e., provision](And Allah's Message is): "If they (the Pagans) had (only) remained on the (right) Way, We should certainly have bestowed on them Rain in abundance. |
| 17 | لِّنَفۡتِنَهُمۡ فِيهِۚ وَمَن يُعۡرِضۡ عَن ذِكۡرِ رَبِّهِۦ يَسۡلُكۡهُ عَذَابٗا صَعَدٗاlinaftinahumلنفتنهملِّنَفْتِنَهُمْThat We might test themfīhiفيهفِيهِtherein.wamanومنوَمَنAnd whoeveryuʿ'riḍيعرضيُعْرِضْturns awayʿanعنعَنfromdhik'riذكرذِكْرِthe Remembrancerabbihiربهرَبِّهِۦ(of) his Lord,yasluk'huيسلكهيَسْلُكْهُHe will make him enterʿadhābanعذاباعَذَابًاa punishmentṣaʿadanصعداصَعَدًاsevere.That We may test them thereby, and whoso turneth away from the remembrance of his Lord; He will thrust him into ever-growing torment.as a test for them[7]. But whoever turns away from the remembrance of his Lord[8], He will make him suffer an arduous punishment.So We might test them therein. And whoever turns away from the remembrance of his Lord[1771] He will put into arduous punishment."That We might try them by that (means). But if any turns away from the remembrance of his Lord, He will cause him to undergo a severe Penalty. |
| 18 | وَأَنَّ ٱلۡمَسَٰجِدَ لِلَّهِ فَلَا تَدۡعُواْ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ أَحَدٗاwa-annaوأنوَأَنَّAnd thatl-masājidaالمساجدٱلْمَسَٰجِدَthe masjidslillahiللهلِلَّهِ(are) for Allah,falāفلافَلَاso (do) nottadʿūتدعواتَدْعُواْcallmaʿaمعمَعَwithl-lahiاللهٱللَّهِAllahaḥadanأحداأَحَدًاanyone.And the places of worship are only for Allah, so pray not unto anyone along with Allah.The mosques[9] are for Allah alone, so do not supplicate anyone along with Allah.And [He revealed] that the masjids[1772] are for Allāh, so do not invoke[1773] with Allāh anyone."And the places of worship are for Allah (alone): So invoke not any one along with Allah; |
| 19 | وَأَنَّهُۥ لَمَّا قَامَ عَبۡدُ ٱللَّهِ يَدۡعُوهُ كَادُواْ يَكُونُونَ عَلَيۡهِ لِبَدٗاwa-annahuوأنهوَأَنَّهُۥAnd thatlammāلمالَمَّاwhenqāmaقامقَامَstood upʿabduعبدعَبْدُ(the) slavel-lahiاللهٱللَّهِ(of) Allahyadʿūhuيدعوهيَدْعُوهُcalling (upon) Him,kādūكادواكَادُواْthey almostyakūnūnaيكونونيَكُونُونَbecameʿalayhiعليهعَلَيْهِaround himlibadanلبدالِبَدًاa compacted mass.And when the slave of Allah stood up in prayer to Him, they crowded on him, almost stifling.Yet when the slave of Allah stood up supplicating Him, they swarmed around him[10].”And that when the Servant [i.e., Prophet] of Allāh stood up supplicating Him, they almost became about him a compacted mass."[1774]"Yet when the Devotee of Allah stands forth to invoke Him, they just make round him a dense crowd." |
| 20 | قُلۡ إِنَّمَآ أَدۡعُواْ رَبِّي وَلَآ أُشۡرِكُ بِهِۦٓ أَحَدٗاqulقلقُلْSay,innamāإنماإِنَّمَآ"OnlyadʿūأدعوأَدْعُواْI call uponrabbīربيرَبِّىmy Lord,walāولاوَلَآand notush'rikuأشركأُشْرِكُI associatebihiبهبِهِۦٓwith Himaḥadanأحداأَحَدًاanyone."Say (unto them, O Muhammad): I pray unto Allah only, and ascribe unto Him no partner.Say [O Prophet], “I only supplicate my Lord and I do not associate anyone with Him.”Say, [O Muḥammad], "I only invoke my Lord and do not associate with Him anyone."Say: "I do no more than invoke my Lord, and I join not with Him any (false god)." |
| 21 | قُلۡ إِنِّي لَآ أَمۡلِكُ لَكُمۡ ضَرّٗا وَلَا رَشَدٗاqulقلقُلْSay,innīإنيإِنِّى"Indeed, Ilāلالَآ(do) notamlikuأملكأَمْلِكُpossesslakumلكملَكُمْfor youḍarranضراضَرًّاany harmwalāولاوَلَاand notrashadanرشدارَشَدًاright path."Say: Lo! I control not hurt nor benefit for you.Say, “I have no power to harm or benefit you[11].”Say, "Indeed, I do not possess for you [the power of] harm or right direction."Say: "It is not in my power to cause you harm, or to bring you to right conduct." |
| 22 | قُلۡ إِنِّي لَن يُجِيرَنِي مِنَ ٱللَّهِ أَحَدٞ وَلَنۡ أَجِدَ مِن دُونِهِۦ مُلۡتَحَدًاqulقلقُلْSay,innīإنيإِنِّى"Indeed I,lanلنلَنneveryujīranīيجيرنييُجِيرَنِىcan protect meminaمنمِنَfroml-lahiاللهٱللَّهِAllahaḥadunأحدأَحَدٌanyone,walanولنوَلَنْand neverajidaأجدأَجِدَcan I findminمنمِنfromdūnihiدونهدُونِهِۦbesides Himmul'taḥadanملتحدامُلْتَحَدًاany refuge.Say: Lo! none can protect me from Allah, nor can I find any refuge beside HimSay, “None can ever protect me from Allah [if I should disobey Him], nor can I ever find refuge except in Him.Say, "Indeed, there will never protect me from Allāh anyone [if I should disobey], nor will I find in other than Him a refuge.Say: "No one can deliver me from Allah (If I were to disobey Him), nor should I find refuge except in Him, |
| 23 | إِلَّا بَلَٰغٗا مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَرِسَٰلَٰتِهِۦۚ وَمَن يَعۡصِ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ فَإِنَّ لَهُۥ نَارَ جَهَنَّمَ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَآ أَبَدًاillāإلاإِلَّاButbalāghanبلاغابَلَٰغًا(the) notificationminaمنمِّنَfroml-lahiاللهٱللَّهِAllahwarisālātihiورسالاتهوَرِسَٰلَٰتِهِۦand His Messages."wamanومنوَمَنAnd whoeveryaʿṣiيعصيَعْصِdisobeysl-lahaاللهٱللَّهَAllahwarasūlahuورسولهوَرَسُولَهُۥand His Messenger,fa-innaفإنفَإِنَّthen indeed,lahuلهلَهُۥfor himnāraنارنَارَ(is the) Firejahannamaجهنمجَهَنَّمَ(of) Hell,khālidīnaخالدينخَٰلِدِينَ(they will) abidefīhāفيهافِيهَآthereinabadanأبداأَبَدًاforever.(Mine is) but conveyance (of the Truth) from Allah, and His messages; and whoso disobeyeth Allah and His messenger, lo! his is fire of hell, wherein such dwell for ever.I only convey what I receive from Allah and His messages.” And whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger will certainly be in the Fire of Hell, abiding therein forever.But [I have for you] only notification from Allāh, and His messages." And whoever disobeys Allāh and His Messenger - then indeed, for him is the fire of Hell; they will abide therein forever."Unless I proclaim what I receive from Allah and His Messages: for any that disobey Allah and His Messenger,- for them is Hell: they shall dwell therein for ever." |
| 24 | حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا رَأَوۡاْ مَا يُوعَدُونَ فَسَيَعۡلَمُونَ مَنۡ أَضۡعَفُ نَاصِرٗا وَأَقَلُّ عَدَدٗاḥattāحتىحَتَّىٰٓUntil,idhāإذاإِذَاwhenra-awرأوارَأَوْاْthey seemāمامَاwhatyūʿadūnaيوعدونيُوعَدُونَthey are promised,fasayaʿlamūnaفسيعلمونفَسَيَعْلَمُونَthen they will knowmanمنمَنْwhoaḍʿafuأضعفأَضْعَفُ(is) weakernāṣiranناصرانَاصِرًا(in) helperswa-aqalluوأقلوَأَقَلُّand fewerʿadadanعدداعَدَدًا(in) number.Till (the day) when they shall behold that which they are promised (they may doubt); but then they will know (for certain) who is weaker in allies and less in multitude.Until when they see what they were promised, they will realize who is weaker in helpers and fewer in number.[The disbelievers continue] until, when they see that which they are promised, then they will know who is weaker in helpers and less in number.At length, when they see (with their own eyes) that which they are promised,- then will they know who it is that is weakest in (his) helper and least important in point of numbers. |
| 25 | قُلۡ إِنۡ أَدۡرِيٓ أَقَرِيبٞ مَّا تُوعَدُونَ أَمۡ يَجۡعَلُ لَهُۥ رَبِّيٓ أَمَدًاqulقلقُلْSay,inإنإِنْ"NotadrīأدريأَدْرِىٓI knowaqarībunأقريبأَقَرِيبٌwhether is nearmāمامَّاwhattūʿadūnaتوعدونتُوعَدُونَyou are promisedamأمأَمْor (whether)yajʿaluيجعليَجْعَلُwill appointlahuلهلَهُۥfor itrabbīربيرَبِّىٓmy Lordamadanأمداأَمَدًاa (distant) term.Say (O Muhammad, unto the disbelievers): I know not whether that which ye are promised is nigh, or if my Lord hath set a distant term for it.Say, “I do not know if what you are promised is near or my Lord has appointed a distant time for it.Say, "I do not know if what you are promised is near or if my Lord will grant for it a [long] period."Say: "I know not whether the (Punishment) which ye are promised is near, or whether my Lord will appoint for it a distant term. |
| 26 | عَٰلِمُ ٱلۡغَيۡبِ فَلَا يُظۡهِرُ عَلَىٰ غَيۡبِهِۦٓ أَحَدًاʿālimuعالمعَٰلِمُ(The) All-Knowerl-ghaybiالغيبٱلْغَيْبِ(of) the unseen,falāفلافَلَاso notyuẓ'hiruيظهريُظْهِرُHe revealsʿalāعلىعَلَىٰfromghaybihiغيبهغَيْبِهِۦٓHis unseenaḥadanأحداأَحَدًا(to) anyone,(He is) the Knower of the Unseen, and He revealeth unto none His secret,[He is] the Knower of the unseen, He does not reveal His unseen to anyone,[He is] Knower of the unseen, and He does not disclose His [knowledge of the] unseen to anyone"He (alone) knows the Unseen, nor does He make any one acquainted with His Mysteries,- |
| 27 | إِلَّا مَنِ ٱرۡتَضَىٰ مِن رَّسُولٖ فَإِنَّهُۥ يَسۡلُكُ مِنۢ بَيۡنِ يَدَيۡهِ وَمِنۡ خَلۡفِهِۦ رَصَدٗاillāإلاإِلَّاExceptmaniمنمَنِwhomir'taḍāارتضىٱرْتَضَىٰHe has approvedminمنمِنofrasūlinرسولرَّسُولٍa Messenger,fa-innahuفإنهفَإِنَّهُۥand indeed, Heyaslukuيسلكيَسْلُكُmakes to marchminمنمِنۢfrombayniبينبَيْنِbeforeyadayhiيديهيَدَيْهِhimwaminومنوَمِنْand fromkhalfihiخلفهخَلْفِهِۦbehind himraṣadanرصدارَصَدًاa guard,Save unto every messenger whom He hath chosen, and then He maketh a guard to go before him and a guard behind himexcept the messenger whom He chooses, then He appoints angel-guards before him and behind him[12]Except whom He has approved of messengers, and indeed, He sends before him [i.e., each messenger] and behind him observers[1775]"Except a messenger whom He has chosen: and then He makes a band of watchers march before him and behind him, |
| 28 | لِّيَعۡلَمَ أَن قَدۡ أَبۡلَغُواْ رِسَٰلَٰتِ رَبِّهِمۡ وَأَحَاطَ بِمَا لَدَيۡهِمۡ وَأَحۡصَىٰ كُلَّ شَيۡءٍ عَدَدَۢاliyaʿlamaليعلملِّيَعْلَمَThat He may make evidentanأنأَنthatqadقدقَدْindeed,ablaghūأبلغواأَبْلَغُواْthey have conveyedrisālātiرسالاترِسَٰلَٰتِ(the) Messagesrabbihimربهمرَبِّهِمْ(of) their Lord;wa-aḥāṭaوأحاطوَأَحَاطَand He has encompassedbimāبمابِمَاwhatladayhimلديهملَدَيْهِمْ(is) with themwa-aḥṣāوأحصىوَأَحْصَىٰand He takes accountkullaكلكُلَّ(of) allshayinشيءشَىْءٍthingsʿadadanعدداعَدَدًۢا(in) number."That He may know that they have indeed conveyed the messages of their Lord. He surroundeth all their doings, and He keepeth count of all things.to ensure[13] that the messengers fully conveyed the messages of their Lord. He encompasses in His knowledge all about them, and keeps count of all things.”That he [i.e., Muḥammad (ﷺ)] may know[1776] that they have conveyed the messages of their Lord; and He has encompassed whatever is with them and has enumerated all things in number."That He may know that they have (truly) brought and delivered the Messages of their Lord: and He surrounds (all the mysteries) that are with them, and takes account of every single thing." |
| 1 | قُلْ أُوحِيَ إِلَيَّ أَنَّهُ اسْتَمَعَ نَفَرٌ مِّنَ الْجِنِّ فَقَالُوا إِنَّا سَمِعْنَا قُرْآنًا عَجَبًا |
| 2 | يَهْدِي إِلَى الرُّشْدِ فَآمَنَّا بِهِ وَلَن نُّشْرِكَ بِرَبِّنَا أَحَدًا |
| 3 | وَأَنَّهُ تَعَالَىٰ جَدُّ رَبِّنَا مَا اتَّخَذَ صَاحِبَةً وَلَا وَلَدًا |
| 4 | وَأَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ سَفِيهُنَا عَلَى اللَّهِ شَطَطًا |
| 5 | وَأَنَّا ظَنَنَّا أَن لَّن تَقُولَ الْإِنسُ وَالْجِنُّ عَلَى اللَّهِ كَذِبًا |
| 6 | وَأَنَّهُ كَانَ رِجَالٌ مِّنَ الْإِنسِ يَعُوذُونَ بِرِجَالٍ مِّنَ الْجِنِّ فَزَادُوهُمْ رَهَقًا |
| 7 | وَأَنَّهُمْ ظَنُّوا كَمَا ظَنَنتُمْ أَن لَّن يَبْعَثَ اللَّهُ أَحَدًا |
| 8 | وَأَنَّا لَمَسْنَا السَّمَاءَ فَوَجَدْنَاهَا مُلِئَتْ حَرَسًا شَدِيدًا وَشُهُبًا |
| 9 | وَأَنَّا كُنَّا نَقْعُدُ مِنْهَا مَقَاعِدَ لِلسَّمْعِ فَمَن يَسْتَمِعِ الْآنَ يَجِدْ لَهُ شِهَابًا رَّصَدًا |
| 10 | وَأَنَّا لَا نَدْرِي أَشَرٌّ أُرِيدَ بِمَن فِي الْأَرْضِ أَمْ أَرَادَ بِهِمْ رَبُّهُمْ رَشَدًا |
| 11 | وَأَنَّا مِنَّا الصَّالِحُونَ وَمِنَّا دُونَ ذَٰلِكَ كُنَّا طَرَائِقَ قِدَدًا |
| 12 | وَأَنَّا ظَنَنَّا أَن لَّن نُّعْجِزَ اللَّهَ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَن نُّعْجِزَهُ هَرَبًا |
| 13 | وَأَنَّا لَمَّا سَمِعْنَا الْهُدَىٰ آمَنَّا بِهِ فَمَن يُؤْمِن بِرَبِّهِ فَلَا يَخَافُ بَخْسًا وَلَا رَهَقًا |
| 14 | وَأَنَّا مِنَّا الْمُسْلِمُونَ وَمِنَّا الْقَاسِطُونَ فَمَنْ أَسْلَمَ فَأُولَٰئِكَ تَحَرَّوْا رَشَدًا |
| 15 | وَأَمَّا الْقَاسِطُونَ فَكَانُوا لِجَهَنَّمَ حَطَبًا |
| 16 | وَأَن لَّوِ اسْتَقَامُوا عَلَى الطَّرِيقَةِ لَأَسْقَيْنَاهُم مَّاءً غَدَقًا |
| 17 | لِّنَفْتِنَهُمْ فِيهِ وَمَن يُعْرِضْ عَن ذِكْرِ رَبِّهِ يَسْلُكْهُ عَذَابًا صَعَدًا |
| 18 | وَأَنَّ الْمَسَاجِدَ لِلَّهِ فَلَا تَدْعُوا مَعَ اللَّهِ أَحَدًا |
| 19 | وَأَنَّهُ لَمَّا قَامَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ يَدْعُوهُ كَادُوا يَكُونُونَ عَلَيْهِ لِبَدًا |
| 20 | قُلْ إِنَّمَا أَدْعُو رَبِّي وَلَا أُشْرِكُ بِهِ أَحَدًا |
| 21 | قُلْ إِنِّي لَا أَمْلِكُ لَكُمْ ضَرًّا وَلَا رَشَدًا |
| 22 | قُلْ إِنِّي لَن يُجِيرَنِي مِنَ اللَّهِ أَحَدٌ وَلَنْ أَجِدَ مِن دُونِهِ مُلْتَحَدًا |
| 23 | إِلَّا بَلَاغًا مِّنَ اللَّهِ وَرِسَالَاتِهِ وَمَن يَعْصِ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ فَإِنَّ لَهُ نَارَ جَهَنَّمَ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا أَبَدًا |
| 24 | حَتَّىٰ إِذَا رَأَوْا مَا يُوعَدُونَ فَسَيَعْلَمُونَ مَنْ أَضْعَفُ نَاصِرًا وَأَقَلُّ عَدَدًا |
| 25 | قُلْ إِنْ أَدْرِي أَقَرِيبٌ مَّا تُوعَدُونَ أَمْ يَجْعَلُ لَهُ رَبِّي أَمَدًا |
| 26 | عَالِمُ الْغَيْبِ فَلَا يُظْهِرُ عَلَىٰ غَيْبِهِ أَحَدًا |
| 27 | إِلَّا مَنِ ارْتَضَىٰ مِن رَّسُولٍ فَإِنَّهُ يَسْلُكُ مِن بَيْنِ يَدَيْهِ وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِ رَصَدًا |
| 28 | لِّيَعْلَمَ أَن قَدْ أَبْلَغُوا رِسَالَاتِ رَبِّهِمْ وَأَحَاطَ بِمَا لَدَيْهِمْ وَأَحْصَىٰ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ عَدَدًا |
| 1 | قُلْ أُوحِيَ إِلَيَّ أَنَّهُ ٱسْتَمَعَ نَفَرَ مِّنَ ٱلْجِنِّ فَقَالُوٓاْ إِنَّا سَمِعْنَا قُرْءَانًا عَجَبٗاqulقلقُلْSay,ūḥiyaأوحيأُوحِىَ"It has been revealedilayyaإليإِلَىَّto meannahuأنهأَنَّهُthatis'tamaʿaاستمعٱسْتَمَعَlistenednafarunنفرنَفَرٌa groupminaمنمِّنَofl-jiniالجنٱلْجِنِّthe jinn,faqālūفقالوافَقَالُوٓاْand they said,innāإناإِنَّا"Indeed, wesamiʿ'nāسمعناسَمِعْنَاheardqur'ānanقرآناقُرْءَانًاa Quranʿajabanعجباعَجَبًاamazing,Say (O Muhammad): It is revealed unto me that a company of the Jinn gave ear, and they said: Lo! we have heard a marvellous Qur'an,Say, “It has been revealed to me that a group of jinn listened [to the Qur’an,] and they said, ‘Indeed, we have heard a wondrous recitationSay, [O Muḥammad], "It has been revealed to me that a group of the jinn listened and said, 'Indeed, we have heard an amazing Qur’ān [i.e., recitation].Say: It has been revealed to me that a company of Jinns listened (to the Qur'an). They said, 'We have really heard a wonderful Recital! |
| 2 | يَهْدِيٓ إِلَى ٱلرُّشْدِ فَـَٔامَنَّا بِهِۦۖ وَلَن نُّشْرِكَ بِرَبِّنَآ أَحَدٗاyahdīيهدييَهْدِىٓIt guidesilāإلىإِلَىtol-rush'diالرشدٱلرُّشْدِthe right way,faāmannāفآمنافَـَٔامَنَّاso we believebihiبهبِهِۦin it,walanولنوَلَنand nevernush'rikaنشركنُّشْرِكَwe will associatebirabbināبربنابِرَبِّنَآwith our Lordaḥadanأحداأَحَدًاanyone.Which guideth unto righteousness, so we believe in it and we ascribe no partner unto our Lord.that guides to the right way, so we have believed in it, and we will never associate anyone with our Lord.It guides to the right course, and we have believed in it. And we will never associate with our Lord anyone.'It gives guidance to the Right, and we have believed therein: we shall not join (in worship) any (gods) with our Lord. |
| 3 | وَأَنَّهُ تَعَٰلَىٰ جَدُّ رَبِّنَا مَا ٱتَّخَذَ صَٰحِبَةٗ وَلَا وَلَدٗاwa-annahuوأنهوَأَنَّهُAnd that He -taʿālāتعالىتَعَٰلَىٰExalted isjadduجدجَدُّ(the) Majestyrabbināربنارَبِّنَا(of) our Lord -māمامَاnotittakhadhaاتخذٱتَّخَذَHe has takenṣāḥibatanصاحبةصَٰحِبَةًa wifewalāولاوَلَاand notwaladanولداوَلَدًاa son,And (we believe) that He - exalted be the glory of our Lord! - hath taken neither wife nor son,And that He – our exalted and glorified Lord[1] – has neither taken a wife nor a child;And [it teaches] that exalted is the nobleness of our Lord; He has not taken a wife or a son'And Exalted is the Majesty of our Lord: He has taken neither a wife nor a son. |
| 4 | وَأَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ سَفِيهُنَا عَلَى ٱللَّهِ شَطَطٗاwa-annahuوأنهوَأَنَّهُAnd that hekānaكانكَانَused toyaqūluيقوليَقُولُspeak -safīhunāسفيهناسَفِيهُنَاthe foolish among usʿalāعلىعَلَىagainstl-lahiاللهٱللَّهِAllahshaṭaṭanشططاشَطَطًاan excessive transgression.And that the foolish one among us used to speak concerning Allah an atrocious lie.and that the fool among us [i.e., Satan] used to say outrageous things about Allah[2],And that our foolish one [i.e., Iblees][1766] has been saying about Allāh an excessive transgression.'There were some foolish ones among us, who used to utter extravagant lies against Allah; |
| 5 | وَأَنَّا ظَنَنَّآ أَن لَّن تَقُولَ ٱلْإِنسُ وَٱلْجِنُّ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ كَذِبٗاwa-annāوأناوَأَنَّاAnd that weẓanannāظنناظَنَنَّآthoughtanأنأَنthatlanلنلَّنnevertaqūlaتقولتَقُولَwill sayl-insuالإنسٱلْإِنسُthe menwal-jinuوالجنوَٱلْجِنُّand the jinn,ʿalāعلىعَلَىagainstl-lahiاللهٱللَّهِAllahkadhibanكذباكَذِبًاany lie.And lo! we had supposed that humankind and jinn would not speak a lie concerning Allah -although we thought that humans and jinn would never tell lies about Allah.And we had thought that mankind and the jinn would never speak about Allāh a lie.'But we do think that no man or spirit should say aught that untrue against Allah. |
| 6 | وَأَنَّهُ كَانَ رِجَالَ مِّنَ ٱلْإِنسِ يَعُوذُونَ بِرِجَالٖ مِّنَ ٱلْجِنِّ فَزَادُوهُمْ رَهَقٗاwa-annahuوأنهوَأَنَّهُAnd thatkānaكانكَانَ(there) wererijālunرجالرِجَالٌmenminaمنمِّنَamongl-insiالإنسٱلْإِنسِmankindyaʿūdhūnaيعوذونيَعُوذُونَwho sought refugebirijālinبرجالبِرِجَالٍin (the) menminaمنمِّنَfroml-jiniالجنٱلْجِنِّthe jinn,fazādūhumفزادوهمفَزَادُوهُمْso they increased themrahaqanرهقارَهَقًا(in) burden.And indeed (O Muhammad) individuals of humankind used to invoke the protection of individuals of the jinn, so that they increased them in revolt against Allah);And there were some men who used to seek refuge with some jinn, but they only increased them in burden.And there were men from mankind who sought refuge in men from the jinn, so they [only] increased them in burden [i.e., sin].'True, there were persons among mankind who took shelter with persons among the Jinns, but they increased them in folly. |
| 7 | وَأَنَّهُمْ ظَنُّواْ كَمَا ظَنَنتُمْ أَن لَّن يَبْعَثَ ٱللَّهُ أَحَدٗاwa-annahumوأنهموَأَنَّهُمْAnd that theyẓannūظنواظَنُّواْthoughtkamāكماكَمَاasẓanantumظننتمظَنَنتُمْyou thoughtanأنأَنthatlanلنلَّنneveryabʿathaيبعثيَبْعَثَwill raisel-lahuاللهٱللَّهُAllahaḥadanأحداأَحَدًاanyone.And indeed they supposed, even as ye suppose, that Allah would not raise anyone (from the dead) -They thought, just like you [jinn] thought that Allah would never send any messenger.And they had thought, as you thought, that Allāh would never send anyone [as a messenger].'And they (came to) think as ye thought, that Allah would not raise up any one (to Judgment). |
| 8 | وَأَنَّا لَمَسْنَا ٱلسَّمَآءَ فَوَجَدْنَٰهَا مُلِئَتْ حَرَسٗا شَدِيدٗا وَشُهُبٗاwa-annāوأناوَأَنَّاAnd that welamasnāلمسنالَمَسْنَاsought to touchl-samāaالسماءٱلسَّمَآءَthe heavenfawajadnāhāفوجدناهافَوَجَدْنَٰهَاbut we found itmuli-atملئتمُلِئَتْfilled (with)ḥarasanحرساحَرَسًاguardsshadīdanشديداشَدِيدًاsevere,washuhubanوشهباوَشُهُبًاand flaming fires.And (the Jinn who had listened to the Qur'an said): We had sought the heaven but had found it filled with strong warders and meteors.We have sought to reach heaven but found it filled with stern guards and flaming fire.And we have sought [to reach] the heaven but found it filled with powerful guards and burning flames.'And we pried into the secrets of heaven; but we found it filled with stern guards and flaming fires. |
| 9 | وَأَنَّا كُنَّا نَقْعُدُ مِنْهَا مَقَٰعِدَ لِلسَّمْعِۖ فَمَن يَسْتَمِعِ ٱلْأٓنَ يَجِدْ لَهُ شِهَابٗا رَّصَدٗاwa-annāوأناوَأَنَّاAnd that wekunnāكناكُنَّاused tonaqʿuduنقعدنَقْعُدُsitmin'hāمنهامِنْهَاthere inmaqāʿidaمقاعدمَقَٰعِدَpositionslilssamʿiللسمعلِلسَّمْعِfor hearing,famanفمنفَمَنbut (he) whoyastamiʿiيستمعيَسْتَمِعِlistensl-ānaالآنٱلْءَانَnowyajidيجديَجِدْwill findlahuلهلَهُfor himshihābanشهاباشِهَابًاa flaming fireraṣadanرصدارَّصَدًاwaiting.And we used to sit on places (high) therein to listen. But he who listeneth now findeth a flame in wait for him;We used to take up positions there for eavesdropping, but now anyone who eavesdrops will find a flaming fire waiting for him[3].And we used to sit therein in positions for hearing,[1767] but whoever listens now will find a burning flame lying in wait for him.'We used, indeed, to sit there in (hidden) stations, to (steal) a hearing; but any who listen now will find a flaming fire watching him in ambush. |
| 10 | وَأَنَّا لَا نَدْرِيٓ أَشَرٌّ أُرِيدَ بِمَن فِي ٱلْأَرْضِ أَمْ أَرَادَ بِهِمْ رَبُّهُمْ رَشَدٗاwa-annāوأناوَأَنَّاAnd that we -lāلالَاnotnadrīندرينَدْرِىٓwe knowasharrunأشرأَشَرٌّwhether evilurīdaأريدأُرِيدَis intendedbimanبمنبِمَنfor (those) whofīفيفِى(are) inl-arḍiالأرضٱلْأَرْضِthe earthamأمأَمْorarādaأرادأَرَادَintendsbihimبهمبِهِمْfor themrabbuhumربهمرَبُّهُمْtheir Lordrashadanرشدارَشَدًاa right path.And we know not whether harm is boded unto all who are in the earth, or whether their Lord intendeth guidance for them.We do not know whether evil is intended for those on earth, or their Lord intends good for them.And we do not know [therefore] whether evil is intended for those on earth or whether their Lord intends for them a right course.'And we understand not whether ill is intended to those on earth, or whether their Lord (really) intends to guide them to right conduct. |
| 11 | وَأَنَّا مِنَّا ٱلصَّٰلِحُونَ وَمِنَّا دُونَ ذَٰلِكَۖ كُنَّا طَرَآئِقَ قِدَدٗاwa-annāوأناوَأَنَّاAnd that [we]minnāمنامِنَّاamong usl-ṣāliḥūnaالصالحونٱلصَّٰلِحُونَ(are) the righteouswaminnāومناوَمِنَّاand among usdūnaدوندُونَ(are) other thandhālikaذلكذَٰلِكَthat.kunnāكناكُنَّاWeṭarāiqaطرائقطَرَآئِقَ(are on) waysqidadanقدداقِدَدًاdifferent.And among us there are righteous folk and among us there are far from that. We are sects having different rules.Among us are some who are righteous and some who are otherwise, for we follow divergent ways[4].And among us are the righteous, and among us are [others] not so; we were [of] divided ways.[1768]'There are among us some that are righteous, and some the contrary: we follow divergent paths. |
| 12 | وَأَنَّا ظَنَنَّآ أَن لَّن نُّعْجِزَ ٱللَّهَ فِي ٱلْأَرْضِ وَلَن نُّعْجِزَهُ هَرَبٗاwa-annāوأناوَأَنَّاAnd that weẓanannāظنناظَنَنَّآ[we] have become certainanأنأَنthatlanلنلَّنnevernuʿ'jizaنعجزنُّعْجِزَwe will cause failurel-lahaاللهٱللَّهَ(to) Allahfīفيفِىinl-arḍiالأرضٱلْأَرْضِthe earthwalanولنوَلَنand nevernuʿ'jizahuنعجزهنُّعْجِزَهُwe can escape Himharabanهرباهَرَبًا(by) flight.And we know that we cannot escape from Allah in the earth, nor can we escape by flight.We have realized that we can never escape Allah on earth, nor can we ever escape Him by fleeing.And we have become certain that we will never cause failure to Allāh upon earth, nor can we escape Him by flight.'But we think that we can by no means frustrate Allah throughout the earth, nor can we frustrate Him by flight. |
| 13 | وَأَنَّا لَمَّا سَمِعْنَا ٱلْهُدَىٰٓ ءَامَنَّا بِهِۦۖ فَمَن يُؤْمِنۢ بِرَبِّهِۦ فَلَا يَخَافُ بَخْسٗا وَلَا رَهَقٗاwa-annāوأناوَأَنَّاAnd that [we]lammāلمالَمَّاwhensamiʿ'nāسمعناسَمِعْنَاwe heardl-hudāالهدىٱلْهُدَىٰٓthe Guidanceāmannāآمناءَامَنَّاwe believedbihiبهبِهِۦin it.famanفمنفَمَنAnd whoeveryu'minيؤمنيُؤْمِنۢbelievesbirabbihiبربهبِرَبِّهِۦin his Lord,falāفلافَلَاthen notyakhāfuيخافيَخَافُhe will fearbakhsanبخسابَخْسًاany losswalāولاوَلَاand notrahaqanرهقارَهَقًاany burden.And when we heard the guidance, we believed therein, and whoso believeth in his Lord, he feareth neither loss nor oppression.When we heard the guidance [of the Qur’an], we believed in it. Whoever believes in his Lord will have no fear of curtailment [from his reward] or injustice[5].And when we heard the guidance [i.e., the Qur’ān], we believed in it. And whoever believes in his Lord will not fear deprivation or burden.[1769]'And as for us, since we have listened to the Guidance, we have accepted it: and any who believes in his Lord has no fear, either of a short (account) or of any injustice. |
| 14 | وَأَنَّا مِنَّا ٱلْمُسْلِمُونَ وَمِنَّا ٱلْقَٰسِطُونَۖ فَمَنْ أَسْلَمَ فَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ تَحَرَّوْاْ رَشَدٗاwa-annāوأناوَأَنَّاAnd that we,minnāمنامِنَّاamong usl-mus'limūnaالمسلمونٱلْمُسْلِمُونَ(are) Muslimswaminnāومناوَمِنَّاand among usl-qāsiṭūnaالقاسطونٱلْقَٰسِطُونَ(are) unjust.famanفمنفَمَنْAnd whoeveraslamaأسلمأَسْلَمَsubmits,fa-ulāikaفأولئكفَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَthen thosetaḥarrawتحرواتَحَرَّوْاْhave soughtrashadanرشدارَشَدًا(the) right path.And there are among us some who have surrendered (to Allah) and there are among us some who are unjust. And whoso hath surrendered to Allah, such have taken the right path purposefully.Among us are some who are Muslims and some who are deviant[6]. Those who accepted Islam have sought the true guidance,And among us are Muslims [in submission to Allāh], and among us are the unjust.[1770] And whoever has become Muslim - those have sought out the right course.'Amongst us are some that submit their wills (to Allah), and some that swerve from justice. Now those who submit their wills - they have sought out (the path) of right conduct: |
| 15 | وَأَمَّا ٱلْقَٰسِطُونَ فَكَانُواْ لِجَهَنَّمَ حَطَبٗاwa-ammāوأماوَأَمَّاAnd as forl-qāsiṭūnaالقاسطونٱلْقَٰسِطُونَthe unjust,fakānūفكانوافَكَانُواْthey will be,lijahannamaلجهنملِجَهَنَّمَfor Hell,ḥaṭabanحطباحَطَبًاfirewood."And as for those who are unjust, they are firewood for hell.but those who are deviant, they will be fuel for Hell.’”But as for the unjust, they will be, for Hell, firewood.''But those who swerve,- they are (but) fuel for Hell-fire'- |
| 16 | وَأَلَّوِ ٱسْتَقَٰمُواْ عَلَى ٱلطَّرِيقَةِ لَأَسْقَيْنَٰهُم مَّآءً غَدَقٗاwa-allawiوأن لووَأَلَّوِAnd that ifis'taqāmūاستقامواٱسْتَقَٰمُواْthey had remainedʿalāعلىعَلَىonl-ṭarīqatiالطريقةٱلطَّرِيقَةِthe Way,la-asqaynāhumلأسقيناهملَأَسْقَيْنَٰهُمsurely We (would) have given them to drinkmāanماءمَّآءًwaterghadaqanغدقاغَدَقًا(in) abundance,If they (the idolaters) tread the right path, We shall give them to drink of water in abundance“If they had remained steadfast on the right way, We would have given them abundant rain,And [Allāh revealed] that if they had remained straight on the way, We would have given them abundant rain [i.e., provision](And Allah's Message is): "If they (the Pagans) had (only) remained on the (right) Way, We should certainly have bestowed on them Rain in abundance. |
| 17 | لِّنَفْتِنَهُمْ فِيهِۚ وَمَن يُعْرِضْ عَن ذِكْرِ رَبِّهِۦ يَسْلُكْهُ عَذَابٗا صَعَدٗاlinaftinahumلنفتنهملِّنَفْتِنَهُمْThat We might test themfīhiفيهفِيهِtherein.wamanومنوَمَنAnd whoeveryuʿ'riḍيعرضيُعْرِضْturns awayʿanعنعَنfromdhik'riذكرذِكْرِthe Remembrancerabbihiربهرَبِّهِۦ(of) his Lord,yasluk'huيسلكهيَسْلُكْهُHe will make him enterʿadhābanعذاباعَذَابًاa punishmentṣaʿadanصعداصَعَدًاsevere.That We may test them thereby, and whoso turneth away from the remembrance of his Lord; He will thrust him into ever-growing torment.as a test for them[7]. But whoever turns away from the remembrance of his Lord[8], He will make him suffer an arduous punishment.So We might test them therein. And whoever turns away from the remembrance of his Lord[1771] He will put into arduous punishment."That We might try them by that (means). But if any turns away from the remembrance of his Lord, He will cause him to undergo a severe Penalty. |
| 18 | وَأَنَّ ٱلْمَسَٰجِدَ لِلَّهِ فَلَا تَدْعُواْ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ أَحَدٗاwa-annaوأنوَأَنَّAnd thatl-masājidaالمساجدٱلْمَسَٰجِدَthe masjidslillahiللهلِلَّهِ(are) for Allah,falāفلافَلَاso (do) nottadʿūتدعواتَدْعُواْcallmaʿaمعمَعَwithl-lahiاللهٱللَّهِAllahaḥadanأحداأَحَدًاanyone.And the places of worship are only for Allah, so pray not unto anyone along with Allah.The mosques[9] are for Allah alone, so do not supplicate anyone along with Allah.And [He revealed] that the masjids[1772] are for Allāh, so do not invoke[1773] with Allāh anyone."And the places of worship are for Allah (alone): So invoke not any one along with Allah; |
| 19 | وَأَنَّهُ لَمَّا قَامَ عَبْدُ ٱللَّهِ يَدْعُوهُ كَادُواْ يَكُونُونَ عَلَيْهِ لِبَدٗاwa-annahuوأنهوَأَنَّهُAnd thatlammāلمالَمَّاwhenqāmaقامقَامَstood upʿabduعبدعَبْدُ(the) slavel-lahiاللهٱللَّهِ(of) Allahyadʿūhuيدعوهيَدْعُوهُcalling (upon) Him,kādūكادواكَادُواْthey almostyakūnūnaيكونونيَكُونُونَbecameʿalayhiعليهعَلَيْهِaround himlibadanلبدالِبَدًاa compacted mass.And when the slave of Allah stood up in prayer to Him, they crowded on him, almost stifling.Yet when the slave of Allah stood up supplicating Him, they swarmed around him[10].”And that when the Servant [i.e., Prophet] of Allāh stood up supplicating Him, they almost became about him a compacted mass."[1774]"Yet when the Devotee of Allah stands forth to invoke Him, they just make round him a dense crowd." |
| 20 | قُلْ إِنَّمَآ أَدْعُواْ رَبِّي وَلَآ أُشْرِكُ بِهِۦٓ أَحَدٗاqulقلقُلْSay,innamāإنماإِنَّمَآ"OnlyadʿūأدعوأَدْعُواْI call uponrabbīربيرَبِّىmy Lord,walāولاوَلَآand notush'rikuأشركأُشْرِكُI associatebihiبهبِهِۦٓwith Himaḥadanأحداأَحَدًاanyone."Say (unto them, O Muhammad): I pray unto Allah only, and ascribe unto Him no partner.Say [O Prophet], “I only supplicate my Lord and I do not associate anyone with Him.”Say, [O Muḥammad], "I only invoke my Lord and do not associate with Him anyone."Say: "I do no more than invoke my Lord, and I join not with Him any (false god)." |
| 21 | قُلْ إِنِّي لَآ أَمْلِكُ لَكُمْ ضَرّٗا وَلَا رَشَدٗاqulقلقُلْSay,innīإنيإِنِّى"Indeed, Ilāلالَآ(do) notamlikuأملكأَمْلِكُpossesslakumلكملَكُمْfor youḍarranضراضَرًّاany harmwalāولاوَلَاand notrashadanرشدارَشَدًاright path."Say: Lo! I control not hurt nor benefit for you.Say, “I have no power to harm or benefit you[11].”Say, "Indeed, I do not possess for you [the power of] harm or right direction."Say: "It is not in my power to cause you harm, or to bring you to right conduct." |
| 22 | قُلْ إِنِّي لَن يُجِيرَنِي مِنَ ٱللَّهِ أَحَدَ وَلَنْ أَجِدَ مِن دُونِهِۦ مُلْتَحَدًاqulقلقُلْSay,innīإنيإِنِّى"Indeed I,lanلنلَنneveryujīranīيجيرنييُجِيرَنِىcan protect meminaمنمِنَfroml-lahiاللهٱللَّهِAllahaḥadunأحدأَحَدٌanyone,walanولنوَلَنْand neverajidaأجدأَجِدَcan I findminمنمِنfromdūnihiدونهدُونِهِۦbesides Himmul'taḥadanملتحدامُلْتَحَدًاany refuge.Say: Lo! none can protect me from Allah, nor can I find any refuge beside HimSay, “None can ever protect me from Allah [if I should disobey Him], nor can I ever find refuge except in Him.Say, "Indeed, there will never protect me from Allāh anyone [if I should disobey], nor will I find in other than Him a refuge.Say: "No one can deliver me from Allah (If I were to disobey Him), nor should I find refuge except in Him, |
| 23 | إِلَّا بَلَٰغٗا مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَرِسَٰلَٰتِهِۦۚ وَمَن يَعْصِ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ فَإِنَّ لَهُ نَارَ جَهَنَّمَ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَآ أَبَدًاillāإلاإِلَّاButbalāghanبلاغابَلَٰغًا(the) notificationminaمنمِّنَfroml-lahiاللهٱللَّهِAllahwarisālātihiورسالاتهوَرِسَٰلَٰتِهِۦand His Messages."wamanومنوَمَنAnd whoeveryaʿṣiيعصيَعْصِdisobeysl-lahaاللهٱللَّهَAllahwarasūlahuورسولهوَرَسُولَهُand His Messenger,fa-innaفإنفَإِنَّthen indeed,lahuلهلَهُfor himnāraنارنَارَ(is the) Firejahannamaجهنمجَهَنَّمَ(of) Hell,khālidīnaخالدينخَٰلِدِينَ(they will) abidefīhāفيهافِيهَآthereinabadanأبداأَبَدًاforever.(Mine is) but conveyance (of the Truth) from Allah, and His messages; and whoso disobeyeth Allah and His messenger, lo! his is fire of hell, wherein such dwell for ever.I only convey what I receive from Allah and His messages.” And whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger will certainly be in the Fire of Hell, abiding therein forever.But [I have for you] only notification from Allāh, and His messages." And whoever disobeys Allāh and His Messenger - then indeed, for him is the fire of Hell; they will abide therein forever."Unless I proclaim what I receive from Allah and His Messages: for any that disobey Allah and His Messenger,- for them is Hell: they shall dwell therein for ever." |
| 24 | حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا رَأَوْاْ مَا يُوعَدُونَ فَسَيَعْلَمُونَ مَنْ أَضْعَفُ نَاصِرٗا وَأَقَلُّ عَدَدٗاḥattāحتىحَتَّىٰٓUntil,idhāإذاإِذَاwhenra-awرأوارَأَوْاْthey seemāمامَاwhatyūʿadūnaيوعدونيُوعَدُونَthey are promised,fasayaʿlamūnaفسيعلمونفَسَيَعْلَمُونَthen they will knowmanمنمَنْwhoaḍʿafuأضعفأَضْعَفُ(is) weakernāṣiranناصرانَاصِرًا(in) helperswa-aqalluوأقلوَأَقَلُّand fewerʿadadanعدداعَدَدًا(in) number.Till (the day) when they shall behold that which they are promised (they may doubt); but then they will know (for certain) who is weaker in allies and less in multitude.Until when they see what they were promised, they will realize who is weaker in helpers and fewer in number.[The disbelievers continue] until, when they see that which they are promised, then they will know who is weaker in helpers and less in number.At length, when they see (with their own eyes) that which they are promised,- then will they know who it is that is weakest in (his) helper and least important in point of numbers. |
| 25 | قُلْ إِنْ أَدْرِيٓ أَقَرِيبَ مَّا تُوعَدُونَ أَمْ يَجْعَلُ لَهُ رَبِّيٓ أَمَدًاqulقلقُلْSay,inإنإِنْ"NotadrīأدريأَدْرِىٓI knowaqarībunأقريبأَقَرِيبٌwhether is nearmāمامَّاwhattūʿadūnaتوعدونتُوعَدُونَyou are promisedamأمأَمْor (whether)yajʿaluيجعليَجْعَلُwill appointlahuلهلَهُfor itrabbīربيرَبِّىٓmy Lordamadanأمداأَمَدًاa (distant) term.Say (O Muhammad, unto the disbelievers): I know not whether that which ye are promised is nigh, or if my Lord hath set a distant term for it.Say, “I do not know if what you are promised is near or my Lord has appointed a distant time for it.Say, "I do not know if what you are promised is near or if my Lord will grant for it a [long] period."Say: "I know not whether the (Punishment) which ye are promised is near, or whether my Lord will appoint for it a distant term. |
| 26 | عَٰلِمُ ٱلْغَيْبِ فَلَا يُظْهِرُ عَلَىٰ غَيْبِهِۦٓ أَحَدًاʿālimuعالمعَٰلِمُ(The) All-Knowerl-ghaybiالغيبٱلْغَيْبِ(of) the unseen,falāفلافَلَاso notyuẓ'hiruيظهريُظْهِرُHe revealsʿalāعلىعَلَىٰfromghaybihiغيبهغَيْبِهِۦٓHis unseenaḥadanأحداأَحَدًا(to) anyone,(He is) the Knower of the Unseen, and He revealeth unto none His secret,[He is] the Knower of the unseen, He does not reveal His unseen to anyone,[He is] Knower of the unseen, and He does not disclose His [knowledge of the] unseen to anyone"He (alone) knows the Unseen, nor does He make any one acquainted with His Mysteries,- |
| 27 | إِلَّا مَنِ ٱرْتَضَىٰ مِن رَّسُولٖ فَإِنَّهُ يَسْلُكُ مِنۢ بَيْنِ يَدَيْهِ وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِۦ رَصَدٗاillāإلاإِلَّاExceptmaniمنمَنِwhomir'taḍāارتضىٱرْتَضَىٰHe has approvedminمنمِنofrasūlinرسولرَّسُولٍa Messenger,fa-innahuفإنهفَإِنَّهُand indeed, Heyaslukuيسلكيَسْلُكُmakes to marchminمنمِنۢfrombayniبينبَيْنِbeforeyadayhiيديهيَدَيْهِhimwaminومنوَمِنْand fromkhalfihiخلفهخَلْفِهِۦbehind himraṣadanرصدارَصَدًاa guard,Save unto every messenger whom He hath chosen, and then He maketh a guard to go before him and a guard behind himexcept the messenger whom He chooses, then He appoints angel-guards before him and behind him[12]Except whom He has approved of messengers, and indeed, He sends before him [i.e., each messenger] and behind him observers[1775]"Except a messenger whom He has chosen: and then He makes a band of watchers march before him and behind him, |
| 28 | لِّيَعْلَمَ أَن قَدْ أَبْلَغُواْ رِسَٰلَٰتِ رَبِّهِمْ وَأَحَاطَ بِمَا لَدَيْهِمْ وَأَحْصَىٰ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ عَدَدَۢاliyaʿlamaليعلملِّيَعْلَمَThat He may make evidentanأنأَنthatqadقدقَدْindeed,ablaghūأبلغواأَبْلَغُواْthey have conveyedrisālātiرسالاترِسَٰلَٰتِ(the) Messagesrabbihimربهمرَبِّهِمْ(of) their Lord;wa-aḥāṭaوأحاطوَأَحَاطَand He has encompassedbimāبمابِمَاwhatladayhimلديهملَدَيْهِمْ(is) with themwa-aḥṣāوأحصىوَأَحْصَىٰand He takes accountkullaكلكُلَّ(of) allshayinشيءشَىْءٍthingsʿadadanعدداعَدَدًۢا(in) number."That He may know that they have indeed conveyed the messages of their Lord. He surroundeth all their doings, and He keepeth count of all things.to ensure[13] that the messengers fully conveyed the messages of their Lord. He encompasses in His knowledge all about them, and keeps count of all things.”That he [i.e., Muḥammad (ﷺ)] may know[1776] that they have conveyed the messages of their Lord; and He has encompassed whatever is with them and has enumerated all things in number."That He may know that they have (truly) brought and delivered the Messages of their Lord: and He surrounds (all the mysteries) that are with them, and takes account of every single thing." |

| ﱙ | ﱏ ﱐ ﱑ ﱒ ﱓﱔ ﱕ ﱖ ﱗ ﱘ |
| ﱣ | ﱚ ﱛ ﱜ ﱝ ﱞ ﱟ ﱠ ﱡ ﱢ |
| ﱫ | ﱤ ﱥ ﱦ ﱧ ﱨ ﱩ ﱪ |
| ﱶ | ﱬ ﱭ ﱮ ﱯ ﱰ ﱱ ﱲ ﱳ ﱴ ﱵ |
| ﲂ | ﱷ ﱸ ﱹ ﱺ ﱻ ﱼ ﱽ ﱾ ﱿ ﲀ ﲁ |
| ﲌ | ﲃ ﲄ ﲅ ﲆ ﲇ ﲈ ﲉ ﲊ ﲋ |
| ﲕ | ﲍ ﲎ ﲏ ﲐ ﲑ ﲒ ﲓ ﲔ |
| ﲤ | ﲖ ﲗ ﲘ ﲙ ﲚ ﲛﲜ ﲝ ﲞ ﲟ ﲠ ﲡ ﲢ ﲣ |
| ﲲ | ﲥ ﲦ ﲧ ﲨ ﲩ ﲪ ﲫ ﲬ ﲭ ﲮ ﲯ ﲰ ﲱ |
| ﲽ | ﲳ ﲴ ﲵ ﲶ ﲷ ﲸﲹ ﲺ ﲻ ﲼ |
| ﳉ | ﲾ ﲿ ﳀ ﳁ ﳂ ﳃ ﳄ ﳅ ﳆ ﳇ ﳈ |
| ﳙ | ﳊ ﳋ ﳌ ﳍ ﳎ ﳏﳐ ﳑ ﳒ ﳓ ﳔ ﳕ ﳖ ﳗ ﳘ |
| ﱌ | ﱁ ﱂ ﱃ ﱄ ﱅﱆ ﱇ ﱈ ﱉ ﱊ ﱋ |
| ﱒ | ﱍ ﱎ ﱏ ﱐ ﱑ |
| ﱚ | ﱓ ﱔ ﱕ ﱖ ﱗ ﱘ ﱙ |
| ﱦ | ﱛ ﱜﱝ ﱞ ﱟ ﱠ ﱡ ﱢ ﱣ ﱤ ﱥ |
| ﱯ | ﱧ ﱨ ﱩ ﱪ ﱫ ﱬ ﱭ ﱮ |
| ﱺ | ﱰ ﱱ ﱲ ﱳ ﱴ ﱵ ﱶ ﱷ ﱸ ﱹ |
| ﲃ | ﱻ ﱼ ﱽ ﱾ ﱿ ﲀ ﲁ ﲂ |
| ﲌ | ﲄ ﲅ ﲆ ﲇ ﲈ ﲉ ﲊ ﲋ |
| ﲙ | ﲍ ﲎ ﲏ ﲐ ﲑ ﲒ ﲓ ﲔ ﲕ ﲖ ﲗ ﲘ |
| ﲫ | ﲚ ﲛ ﲜ ﲝ ﲞﲟ ﲠ ﲡ ﲢ ﲣ ﲤ ﲥ ﲦ ﲧ ﲨ ﲩ ﲪ |
| ﲷ | ﲬ ﲭ ﲮ ﲯ ﲰ ﲱ ﲲ ﲳ ﲴ ﲵ ﲶ |
| ﳃ | ﲸ ﲹ ﲺ ﲻ ﲼ ﲽ ﲾ ﲿ ﳀ ﳁ ﳂ |
| ﳋ | ﳄ ﳅ ﳆ ﳇ ﳈ ﳉ ﳊ |
| ﳙ | ﳌ ﳍ ﳎ ﳏ ﳐ ﳑ ﳒ ﳓ ﳔ ﳕ ﳖ ﳗ ﳘ |
| ﳧ | ﳚ ﳛ ﳜ ﳝ ﳞ ﳟ ﳠ ﳡ ﳢ ﳣ ﳤ ﳥ ﳦ |
ﱁ ﱂ ﱃ ﱄ ﱅ ﱆ ﱇ ﱈ ﱉ ﱊ ﱋ ﱌ
ﱍ ﱎ ﱏ ﱐ ﱑ ﱒ ﱓﱔ ﱕ ﱖ ﱗ ﱘ ﱙ
ﱚ ﱛ ﱜ ﱝ ﱞ ﱟ ﱠ ﱡ ﱢ ﱣ ﱤ ﱥ
ﱦ ﱧ ﱨ ﱩ ﱪ ﱫ ﱬ ﱭ ﱮ ﱯ ﱰ ﱱ
ﱲ ﱳ ﱴ ﱵ ﱶ ﱷ ﱸ ﱹ ﱺ ﱻ ﱼ ﱽ
ﱾ ﱿ ﲀ ﲁ ﲂ ﲃ ﲄ ﲅ ﲆ ﲇ ﲈ ﲉ
ﲊ ﲋ ﲌ ﲍ ﲎ ﲏ ﲐ ﲑ ﲒ
ﲓ ﲔ ﲕ ﲖ ﲗ ﲘ ﲙ ﲚ ﲛﲜ ﲝ
ﲞ ﲟ ﲠ ﲡ ﲢ ﲣ ﲤ ﲥ ﲦ ﲧ ﲨ ﲩ
ﲪ ﲫ ﲬ ﲭ ﲮ ﲯ ﲰ ﲱ ﲲ ﲳ ﲴ ﲵ
ﲶ ﲷ ﲸﲹ ﲺ ﲻ ﲼ ﲽ ﲾ ﲿ ﳀ ﳁ ﳂ
ﳃ ﳄ ﳅ ﳆ ﳇ ﳈ ﳉ ﳊ ﳋ ﳌ ﳍ
ﳎ ﳏﳐ ﳑ ﳒ ﳓ ﳔ ﳕ ﳖ ﳗ ﳘ ﳙ
ﱁ ﱂ ﱃ ﱄ ﱅﱆ ﱇ ﱈ ﱉ
ﱊ ﱋ ﱌ ﱍ ﱎ ﱏ ﱐ ﱑ ﱒ
ﱓ ﱔ ﱕ ﱖ ﱗ ﱘ ﱙ ﱚ ﱛ
ﱜﱝ ﱞ ﱟ ﱠ ﱡ ﱢ ﱣ ﱤ ﱥ ﱦ ﱧ
ﱨ ﱩ ﱪ ﱫ ﱬ ﱭ ﱮ ﱯ ﱰ ﱱ ﱲ ﱳ ﱴ
ﱵ ﱶ ﱷ ﱸ ﱹ ﱺ ﱻ ﱼ ﱽ ﱾ ﱿ ﲀ
ﲁ ﲂ ﲃ ﲄ ﲅ ﲆ ﲇ ﲈ ﲉ ﲊ ﲋ ﲌ ﲍ ﲎ

قُلْ أُوحِيَ إِلَيَّ أَنَّهُ اسْتَمَعَ نَفَرٌ مِّنَ الْجِنِّ فَقَالُوا إِنَّا سَمِعْنَا قُرْآنًا
عَجَبًا ١ يَهْدِي إِلَى الرُّشْدِ فَآمَنَّا بِهِ وَلَن نُّشْرِكَ بِرَبِّنَا أَحَدًا ٢
وَأَنَّهُ تَعَالَىٰ جَدُّ رَبِّنَا مَا اتَّخَذَ صَاحِبَةً وَلَا وَلَدًا ٣ وَأَنَّهُ كَانَ
يَقُولُ سَفِيهُنَا عَلَى اللَّهِ شَطَطًا ٤ وَأَنَّا ظَنَنَّا أَن لَّن تَقُولَ الْإِنسُ
وَالْجِنُّ عَلَى اللَّهِ كَذِبًا ٥ وَأَنَّهُ كَانَ رِجَالٌ مِّنَ الْإِنسِ يَعُوذُونَ بِرِجَالٍ
مِّنَ الْجِنِّ فَزَادُوهُمْ رَهَقًا ٦ وَأَنَّهُمْ ظَنُّوا كَمَا ظَنَنتُمْ أَن لَّن يَبْعَثَ
اللَّهُ أَحَدًا ٧ وَأَنَّا لَمَسْنَا السَّمَاءَ فَوَجَدْنَاهَا مُلِئَتْ حَرَسًا
شَدِيدًا وَشُهُبًا ٨ وَأَنَّا كُنَّا نَقْعُدُ مِنْهَا مَقَاعِدَ لِلسَّمْعِ فَمَن
يَسْتَمِعِ الْآنَ يَجِدْ لَهُ شِهَابًا رَّصَدًا ٩ وَأَنَّا لَا نَدْرِي أَشَرٌّ أُرِيدَ
بِمَن فِي الْأَرْضِ أَمْ أَرَادَ بِهِمْ رَبُّهُمْ رَشَدًا ١٠ وَأَنَّا مِنَّا الصَّالِحُونَ
وَمِنَّا دُونَ ذَٰلِكَ كُنَّا طَرَائِقَ قِدَدًا ١١ وَأَنَّا ظَنَنَّا أَن لَّن نُّعْجِزَ
اللَّهَ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَن نُّعْجِزَهُ هَرَبًا ١٢ وَأَنَّا لَمَّا سَمِعْنَا الْهُدَىٰ
آمَنَّا بِهِ فَمَن يُؤْمِن بِرَبِّهِ فَلَا يَخَافُ بَخْسًا وَلَا رَهَقًا ١٣
وَأَنَّا مِنَّا الْمُسْلِمُونَ وَمِنَّا الْقَاسِطُونَ فَمَنْ أَسْلَمَ فَأُولَٰئِكَ
تَحَرَّوْا رَشَدًا ١٤ وَأَمَّا الْقَاسِطُونَ فَكَانُوا لِجَهَنَّمَ حَطَبًا ١٥
وَأَن لَّوِ اسْتَقَامُوا عَلَى الطَّرِيقَةِ لَأَسْقَيْنَاهُم مَّاءً غَدَقًا ١٦ لِّنَفْتِنَهُمْ
فِيهِ وَمَن يُعْرِضْ عَن ذِكْرِ رَبِّهِ يَسْلُكْهُ عَذَابًا صَعَدًا ١٧ وَأَنَّ
الْمَسَاجِدَ لِلَّهِ فَلَا تَدْعُوا مَعَ اللَّهِ أَحَدًا ١٨ وَأَنَّهُ لَمَّا قَامَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ
يَدْعُوهُ كَادُوا يَكُونُونَ عَلَيْهِ لِبَدًا ١٩ قُلْ إِنَّمَا أَدْعُو رَبِّي وَلَا أُشْرِكُ
بِهِ أَحَدًا ٢٠ قُلْ إِنِّي لَا أَمْلِكُ لَكُمْ ضَرًّا وَلَا رَشَدًا ٢١ قُلْ إِنِّي
لَن يُجِيرَنِي مِنَ اللَّهِ أَحَدٌ وَلَنْ أَجِدَ مِن دُونِهِ مُلْتَحَدًا ٢٢ إِلَّا بَلَاغًا
مِّنَ اللَّهِ وَرِسَالَاتِهِ وَمَن يَعْصِ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ فَإِنَّ لَهُ نَارَ جَهَنَّمَ
خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا أَبَدًا ٢٣ حَتَّىٰ إِذَا رَأَوْا مَا يُوعَدُونَ فَسَيَعْلَمُونَ
مَنْ أَضْعَفُ نَاصِرًا وَأَقَلُّ عَدَدًا ٢٤ قُلْ إِنْ أَدْرِي أَقَرِيبٌ مَّا تُوعَدُونَ
أَمْ يَجْعَلُ لَهُ رَبِّي أَمَدًا ٢٥ عَالِمُ الْغَيْبِ فَلَا يُظْهِرُ عَلَىٰ غَيْبِهِ
أَحَدًا ٢٦ إِلَّا مَنِ ارْتَضَىٰ مِن رَّسُولٍ فَإِنَّهُ يَسْلُكُ مِن بَيْنِ
يَدَيْهِ وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِ رَصَدًا ٢٧ لِّيَعْلَمَ أَن قَدْ أَبْلَغُوا رِسَالَاتِ
رَبِّهِمْ وَأَحَاطَ بِمَا لَدَيْهِمْ وَأَحْصَىٰ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ عَدَدًا ٢٨

لَن يُجِيرَنِي مِنَ ٱللَّهِ أَحَدَ وَلَنْ أَجِدَ مِن دُونِهِۦ مُلْتَحَدًا ٢٢ إِلَّا بَلَٰغٗا
مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَرِسَٰلَٰتِهِۦۚ وَمَن يَعْصِ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ فَإِنَّ لَهُ نَارَ جَهَنَّمَ

مَنْ أَضْعَفُ نَاصِرٗا وَأَقَلُّ عَدَدٗا ٢٤ قُلْ إِنْ أَدْرِيٓ أَقَرِيبَ مَّا تُوعَدُونَ
أَمْ يَجْعَلُ لَهُ رَبِّيٓ أَمَدًا ٢٥ عَٰلِمُ ٱلْغَيْبِ فَلَا يُظْهِرُ عَلَىٰ غَيْبِهِۦٓ
أَحَدًا ٢٦ إِلَّا مَنِ ٱرْتَضَىٰ مِن رَّسُولٖ فَإِنَّهُ يَسْلُكُ مِنۢ بَيْنِ

ﱚ ﱛ ﱜ ﱝ ﱞ ﱟ ﱠ ﱡ ﱢ ﱣ ﱤ ﱥ
ﱦ ﱧ ﱨ ﱩ ﱪ ﱫ ﱬ ﱭ ﱮ ﱯ ﱰ ﱱ
