The Hypocrites
1 إِذَا جَآءَكَ ٱلۡمُنَٰفِقُونَ قَالُواْ نَشۡهَدُ إِنَّكَ لَرَسُولُ ٱللَّهِۗ وَٱللَّهُ يَعۡلَمُ إِنَّكَ لَرَسُولُهُۥ وَٱللَّهُ يَشۡهَدُ إِنَّ ٱلۡمُنَٰفِقِينَ لَكَٰذِبُونَidhāإذاإِذَاWhenjāakaجاءكجَآءَكَcome to youl-munāfiqūnaالمنافقونٱلْمُنَٰفِقُونَthe hypocrites,qālūقالواقَالُواْthey say,nashhaduنشهدنَشْهَدُ"We testifyinnakaإنكإِنَّكَthat yoularasūluلرسوللَرَسُولُ(are) surely (the) Messengerl-lahiاللهٱللَّهِ(of) Allah."wal-lahuواللهوَٱللَّهُAnd Allahyaʿlamuيعلميَعْلَمُknowsinnakaإنكإِنَّكَthat yoularasūluhuلرسولهلَرَسُولُهُۥ(are) surely His Messenger,wal-lahuواللهوَٱللَّهُand Allahyashhaduيشهديَشْهَدُtestifiesinnaإنإِنَّthatl-munāfiqīnaالمنافقينٱلْمُنَٰفِقِينَthe hypocriteslakādhibūnaلكاذبونلَكَٰذِبُونَ(are) surely liars.When the hypocrites come unto thee (O Muhammad), they say: We bear witness that thou art indeed Allah's messenger. And Allah knoweth that thou art indeed His messenger, and Allah beareth witness that the hypocrites indeed are speaking falsely.When the hypocrites come to you, they say, “We bear witness that you are indeed the Messenger of Allah” And Allah knows that you are indeed His Messenger, and Allah bears witness that the hypocrites are truly liars.When the hypocrites come to you, [O Muḥammad], they say, "We testify that you are the Messenger of Allāh." And Allāh knows that you are His Messenger, and Allāh testifies that the hypocrites are liars.When the Hypocrites come to thee, they say, "We bear witness that thou art indeed the Messenger of Allah." Yea, Allah knoweth that thou art indeed His Messenger, and Allah beareth witness that the Hypocrites are indeed liars.
2 ٱتَّخَذُوٓاْ أَيۡمَٰنَهُمۡ جُنَّةٗ فَصَدُّواْ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِۚ إِنَّهُمۡ سَآءَ مَا كَانُواْ يَعۡمَلُونَittakhadhūاتخذواٱتَّخَذُوٓاْThey takeaymānahumأيمانهمأَيْمَٰنَهُمْtheir oathsjunnatanجنةجُنَّةً(as) a cover,faṣaddūفصدوافَصَدُّواْso they turn awayʿanعنعَنfromsabīliسبيلسَبِيلِ(the) Wayl-lahiاللهٱللَّهِ(of) Allah.innahumإنهمإِنَّهُمْIndeed, [they]sāaساءسَآءَevil isمامَاwhatkānūكانواكَانُواْthey used toyaʿmalūnaيعملونيَعْمَلُونَdo.They make their faith a pretext so that they may turn (men) from the way of Allah. Verily evil is that which they are wont to do,They have taken their oaths as a shield in order to hinder people from the way of Allah. Evil indeed is what they do!They have taken their oaths as a cover, so they averted [people] from the way of Allāh. Indeed, it was evil that they were doing.They have made their oaths a screen (for their misdeeds): thus they obstruct (men) from the Path of Allah: truly evil are their deeds.
3 ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمۡ ءَامَنُواْ ثُمَّ كَفَرُواْ فَطُبِعَ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمۡ فَهُمۡ لَا يَفۡقَهُونَdhālikaذلكذَٰلِكَThatbi-annahumبأنهمبِأَنَّهُمْ(is) becauseāmanūآمنواءَامَنُواْthey believed,thummaثمثُمَّthenkafarūكفرواكَفَرُواْthey disbelieved;faṭubiʿaفطبعفَطُبِعَso were sealedʿalāعلىعَلَىٰ[upon]qulūbihimقلوبهمقُلُوبِهِمْtheir hearts,fahumفهمفَهُمْso theyلالَا(do) notyafqahūnaيفقهونيَفْقَهُونَunderstand.That is because they believed, then disbelieved, therefore their hearts are sealed so that they understand not.That is because they believed, then disbelieved; therefore their hearts have been sealed, so they do not understand.That is because they believed, and then they disbelieved; so their hearts were sealed over, and they do not understand.That is because they believed, then they rejected Faith: So a seal was set on their hearts: therefore they understand not.
4 ۞ وَإِذَا رَأَيۡتَهُمۡ تُعۡجِبُكَ أَجۡسَامُهُمۡۖ وَإِن يَقُولُواْ تَسۡمَعۡ لِقَوۡلِهِمۡۖ كَأَنَّهُمۡ خُشُبٞ مُّسَنَّدَةٞۖ يَحۡسَبُونَ كُلَّ صَيۡحَةٍ عَلَيۡهِمۡۚ هُمُ ٱلۡعَدُوُّ فَٱحۡذَرۡهُمۡۚ قَٰتَلَهُمُ ٱللَّهُۖ أَنَّىٰ يُؤۡفَكُونَwa-idhāوإذاوَإِذَاAnd whenra-aytahumرأيتهمرَأَيْتَهُمْyou see themtuʿ'jibukaتعجبكتُعْجِبُكَpleases youajsāmuhumأجسامهمأَجْسَامُهُمْtheir bodies,wa-inوإنوَإِنand ifyaqūlūيقولوايَقُولُواْthey speak,tasmaʿتسمعتَسْمَعْyou listenliqawlihimلقولهملِقَوْلِهِمْto their speech,ka-annahumكأنهمكَأَنَّهُمْas if they (were)khushubunخشبخُشُبٌpieces of woodmusannadatunمسندةمُّسَنَّدَةٌpropped up.yaḥsabūnaيحسبونيَحْسَبُونَThey thinkkullaكلكُلَّeveryṣayḥatinصيحةصَيْحَةٍshoutʿalayhimعليهمعَلَيْهِمْ(is) against them.humuهمهُمُTheyl-ʿaduwuالعدوٱلْعَدُوُّ(are) the enemy,fa-iḥ'dharhumفاحذرهمفَٱحْذَرْهُمْso beware of them.qātalahumuقاتلهمقَٰتَلَهُمُMay destroy theml-lahuاللهٱللَّهُAllah!annāأنىأَنَّىٰHowyu'fakūnaيؤفكونيُؤْفَكُونَare they deluded?And when thou seest them their figures please thee; and if they speak thou givest ear unto their speech. (They are) as though they were blocks of wood in striped cloaks. They deem every shout to be against them. They are the enemy, so beware of them. Allah confound them! How they are perverted!When you see them, their outward appearance pleases you, and when they speak, you listen to what they say. But they are like planks of wood leaned [against the wall][1]. They deem every cry to be against them. They are the enemy, so beware of them. May Allah destroy them; how are they deluded?And when you see them, their forms please you, and if they speak, you listen to their speech. [They are] as if they were pieces of wood propped up[1690] - they think that every shout is against them. They are the enemy, so beware of them. May Allāh destroy them; how are they deluded?When thou lookest at them, their exteriors please thee; and when they speak, thou listenest to their words. They are as (worthless as hollow) pieces of timber propped up, (unable to stand on their own). They think that every cry is against them. They are the enemies; so beware of them. The curse of Allah be on them! How are they deluded (away from the Truth)!
5 وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمۡ تَعَالَوۡاْ يَسۡتَغۡفِرۡ لَكُمۡ رَسُولُ ٱللَّهِ لَوَّوۡاْ رُءُوسَهُمۡ وَرَأَيۡتَهُمۡ يَصُدُّونَ وَهُم مُّسۡتَكۡبِرُونَwa-idhāوإذاوَإِذَاAnd whenqīlaقيلقِيلَit is saidlahumلهملَهُمْto them,taʿālawتعالواتَعَالَوْاْ"Come,yastaghfirيستغفريَسْتَغْفِرْwill ask forgivenesslakumلكملَكُمْfor yourasūluرسولرَسُولُ(the) Messengerl-lahiاللهٱللَّهِ(of) Allah."lawwawلووالَوَّوْاْThey turn asideruūsahumرءوسهمرُءُوسَهُمْtheir headswara-aytahumورأيتهموَرَأَيْتَهُمْand you see themyaṣuddūnaيصدونيَصُدُّونَturning awaywahumوهموَهُمwhile theymus'takbirūnaمستكبرونمُّسْتَكْبِرُونَ(are) arrogant.And when it is said unto them: Come! The messenger of Allah will ask forgiveness for you! they avert their faces and thou seest them turning away, disdainful.When it is said to them, “Come, so that the Messenger of Allah may seek forgiveness for you”, they shake their heads, and you see them turning away in arrogance.And when it is said to them, "Come, the Messenger of Allāh will ask forgiveness for you," they turn their heads aside and you see them evading while they are arrogant.And when it is said to them, "Come, the Messenger of Allah will pray for your forgiveness", they turn aside their heads, and thou wouldst see them turning away their faces in arrogance.
6 سَوَآءٌ عَلَيۡهِمۡ أَسۡتَغۡفَرۡتَ لَهُمۡ أَمۡ لَمۡ تَسۡتَغۡفِرۡ لَهُمۡ لَن يَغۡفِرَ ٱللَّهُ لَهُمۡۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَهۡدِي ٱلۡقَوۡمَ ٱلۡفَٰسِقِينَsawāonسواءسَوَآءٌ(It) is sameʿalayhimعليهمعَلَيْهِمْfor themastaghfartaأستغفرتأَسْتَغْفَرْتَwhether you ask forgivenesslahumلهملَهُمْfor themamأمأَمْorlamلملَمْ(do) nottastaghfirتستغفرتَسْتَغْفِرْask forgivenesslahumلهملَهُمْfor them.lanلنلَنNeveryaghfiraيغفريَغْفِرَwill forgivel-lahuاللهٱللَّهُAllahlahumلهملَهُمْ[to] them.innaإنإِنَّIndeed,l-lahaاللهٱللَّهَAllahلالَا(does) notyahdīيهدييَهْدِىguidel-qawmaالقومٱلْقَوْمَthe people,l-fāsiqīnaالفاسقينٱلْفَٰسِقِينَthe defiantly disobedient.Whether thou ask forgiveness for them or ask not forgiveness for them is all one for them; Allah will not forgive them. Lo! Allah guideth not the evil-living folk.It is the same to them whether you seek forgiveness for them or not, Allah will never forgive them. Indeed, Allah does not guide the wicked people.It is all the same for them whether you ask forgiveness for them or do not ask forgiveness for them; never will Allāh forgive them. Indeed, Allāh does not guide the defiantly disobedient people.It is equal to them whether thou pray for their forgiveness or not. Allah will not forgive them. Truly Allah guides not rebellious transgressors.
7 هُمُ ٱلَّذِينَ يَقُولُونَ لَا تُنفِقُواْ عَلَىٰ مَنۡ عِندَ رَسُولِ ٱللَّهِ حَتَّىٰ يَنفَضُّواْۗ وَلِلَّهِ خَزَآئِنُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَلَٰكِنَّ ٱلۡمُنَٰفِقِينَ لَا يَفۡقَهُونَhumuهمهُمُTheyalladhīnaالذينٱلَّذِينَ(are) those whoyaqūlūnaيقولونيَقُولُونَsay,لالَا"(Do) nottunfiqūتنفقواتُنفِقُواْspendʿalāعلىعَلَىٰonmanمنمَنْ(those) whoʿindaعندعِندَ(are) withrasūliرسولرَسُولِ(the) Messengerl-lahiاللهٱللَّهِ(of) Allahḥattāحتىحَتَّىٰuntilyanfaḍḍūينفضوايَنفَضُّواْthey disband."walillahiوللهوَلِلَّهِAnd for Allahkhazāinuخزائنخَزَآئِنُ(are the) treasuresl-samāwātiالسماواتٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ(of) the heavenswal-arḍiوالأرضوَٱلْأَرْضِand the earth,walākinnaولكنوَلَٰكِنَّbutl-munāfiqīnaالمنافقينٱلْمُنَٰفِقِينَthe hypocritesلالَا(do) notyafqahūnaيفقهونيَفْقَهُونَunderstand.They it is who say: Spend not on behalf of those (who dwell) with Allah's messenger that they may disperse (and go away from you); when Allah's are the treasures of the heavens and the earth; but the hypocrites comprehend not.They are those who say, “Do not spend on those who are with Allah’s Messenger so that they may desert him. But to Allah belong the treasures of the heavens and earth, but the hypocrites do not understand.They are the ones who say, "Do not spend on those who are with the Messenger of Allāh until they disband." And to Allāh belong the depositories of the heavens and the earth, but the hypocrites do not understand.They are the ones who say, "Spend nothing on those who are with Allah's Messenger, to the end that they may disperse (and quit Medina)." But to Allah belong the treasures of the heavens and the earth; but the Hypocrites understand not.
8 يَقُولُونَ لَئِن رَّجَعۡنَآ إِلَى ٱلۡمَدِينَةِ لَيُخۡرِجَنَّ ٱلۡأَعَزُّ مِنۡهَا ٱلۡأَذَلَّۚ وَلِلَّهِ ٱلۡعِزَّةُ وَلِرَسُولِهِۦ وَلِلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ وَلَٰكِنَّ ٱلۡمُنَٰفِقِينَ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَyaqūlūnaيقولونيَقُولُونَThey say,la-inلئنلَئِن"Ifrajaʿnāرجعنارَّجَعْنَآwe returnilāإلىإِلَىtol-madīnatiالمدينةٱلْمَدِينَةِAl-Madinah,layukh'rijannaليخرجنلَيُخْرِجَنَّsurely, will expell-aʿazuالأعزٱلْأَعَزُّthe more honorablemin'hāمنهامِنْهَاfrom itl-adhalaالأذلٱلْأَذَلَّthe more humble."walillahiوللهوَلِلَّهِBut for Allahl-ʿizatuالعزةٱلْعِزَّةُ(is) the honorwalirasūlihiولرسولهوَلِرَسُولِهِۦand for His Messengerwalil'mu'minīnaوللمؤمنينوَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَand for the believers,walākinnaولكنوَلَٰكِنَّbutl-munāfiqīnaالمنافقينٱلْمُنَٰفِقِينَthe hypocritesلالَا(do) notyaʿlamūnaيعلمونيَعْلَمُونَknow.They say: Surely, if we return to Al-Madinah the mightier will soon drive out the weaker; when might belongeth to Allah and to His messenger and to the believers; but the hypocrites know not.They[2] say, “When we return to Madinah, the mightier will surely expel the weaker therefrom.” In fact, all might belongs to Allah and to His Messenger, and to the believers, but the hypocrites do not know.They say, "If we return to al-Madīnah, the more honored [for power] will surely expel therefrom the more humble." And to Allāh belongs [all] honor, and to His Messenger, and to the believers, but the hypocrites do not know.They say, "If we return to Medina, surely the more honourable (element) will expel therefrom the meaner." But honour belongs to Allah and His Messenger, and to the Believers; but the Hypocrites know not.
9 يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ لَا تُلۡهِكُمۡ أَمۡوَٰلُكُمۡ وَلَآ أَوۡلَٰدُكُمۡ عَن ذِكۡرِ ٱللَّهِۚ وَمَن يَفۡعَلۡ ذَٰلِكَ فَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡخَٰسِرُونَyāayyuhāيا أيهايَٰٓأَيُّهَاOalladhīnaالذينٱلَّذِينَyou (who)āmanūآمنواءَامَنُواْbelieve!لالَا(Let) nottul'hikumتلهكمتُلْهِكُمْdivert youamwālukumأموالكمأَمْوَٰلُكُمْyour wealthwalāولاوَلَآand notawlādukumأولادكمأَوْلَٰدُكُمْyour childrenʿanعنعَنfromdhik'riذكرذِكْرِ(the) remembrancel-lahiاللهٱللَّهِ(of) Allah.wamanومنوَمَنAnd whoeveryafʿalيفعليَفْعَلْdoesdhālikaذلكذَٰلِكَthat,fa-ulāikaفأولئكفَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَthen thosehumuهمهُمُ[they]l-khāsirūnaالخاسرونٱلْخَٰسِرُونَ(are) the losers.O ye who believe! Let not your wealth nor your children distract you from remembrance of Allah. Those who do so, they are the losers.O you who believe, do not let your wealth and your children distract you from Allah’s remembrance. For whoever does that, it is they who are the losers.O you who have believed, let not your wealth and your children divert you from the remembrance of Allāh. And whoever does that - then those are the losers.O ye who believe! Let not your riches or your children divert you from the remembrance of Allah. If any act thus, the loss is their own.
10 وَأَنفِقُواْ مِن مَّا رَزَقۡنَٰكُم مِّن قَبۡلِ أَن يَأۡتِيَ أَحَدَكُمُ ٱلۡمَوۡتُ فَيَقُولَ رَبِّ لَوۡلَآ أَخَّرۡتَنِيٓ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٖ قَرِيبٖ فَأَصَّدَّقَ وَأَكُن مِّنَ ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَwa-anfiqūوأنفقواوَأَنفِقُواْAnd spendminمنمِنfromمامَّاwhatrazaqnākumرزقناكمرَزَقْنَٰكُمWe have provided youminمنمِّنfromqabliقبلقَبْلِbeforeanأنأَن[that]yatiyaيأتييَأْتِىَcomesaḥadakumuأحدكمأَحَدَكُمُ(to) one of youl-mawtuالموتٱلْمَوْتُthe deathfayaqūlaفيقولفَيَقُولَand he says,rabbiربرَبِّ"My Lord!lawlāلولالَوْلَآWhy notakhartanīأخرتنيأَخَّرْتَنِىٓYou delay meilāإلىإِلَىٰٓforajalinأجلأَجَلٍa termqarībinقريبقَرِيبٍnearfa-aṣṣaddaqaفأصدقفَأَصَّدَّقَso I would give charitywa-akunوأكنوَأَكُنand beminaمنمِّنَamongl-ṣāliḥīnaالصالحينٱلصَّٰلِحِينَthe righteous."And spend of that wherewith We have provided you before death cometh unto one of you and he saith: My Lord! If only thou wouldst reprieve me for a little while, then I would give alms and be among the righteous.And spend from what We have provided for you before death comes to one of you, then he would say, “My Lord, If only You had delayed me for a short while, so that I would give in charity and be one of the righteous.”And spend [in the way of Allāh] from what We have provided you before death approaches one of you and he says, "My Lord, if only You would delay me for a brief term so I would give charity and be of the righteous."and spend something (in charity) out of the substance which We have bestowed on you, before Death should come to any of you and he should say, "O my Lord! why didst Thou not give me respite for a little while? I should then have given (largely) in charity, and I should have been one of the doers of good".
11 وَلَن يُؤَخِّرَ ٱللَّهُ نَفۡسًا إِذَا جَآءَ أَجَلُهَاۚ وَٱللَّهُ خَبِيرُۢ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَwalanولنوَلَنBut neveryu-akhiraيؤخريُؤَخِّرَwill (be) delayedl-lahuاللهٱللَّهُ(by) Allahnafsanنفسانَفْسًاa soulidhāإذاإِذَاwhenjāaجاءجَآءَhas comeajaluhāأجلهاأَجَلُهَاits term.wal-lahuواللهوَٱللَّهُAnd Allahkhabīrunخبيرخَبِيرٌۢ(is) All-Awarebimāبمابِمَاof whattaʿmalūnaتعملونتَعْمَلُونَyou do.But Allah reprieveth no soul when its term cometh, and Allah is Informed of what ye do.But Allah will never delay a soul when its appointed time comes, and Allah is All-Aware of what you do.But never will Allāh delay a soul when its time has come. And Allāh is Aware of what you do.But to no soul will Allah grant respite when the time appointed (for it) has come; and Allah is well acquainted with (all) that ye do.
1 إِذَا جَاءَكَ الْمُنَافِقُونَ قَالُوا نَشْهَدُ إِنَّكَ لَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ وَاللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ إِنَّكَ لَرَسُولُهُ وَاللَّهُ يَشْهَدُ إِنَّ الْمُنَافِقِينَ لَكَاذِبُونَ
2 اتَّخَذُوا أَيْمَانَهُمْ جُنَّةً فَصَدُّوا عَن سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ إِنَّهُمْ سَاءَ مَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ
3 ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ آمَنُوا ثُمَّ كَفَرُوا فَطُبِعَ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمْ فَهُمْ لَا يَفْقَهُونَ
4 ۞ وَإِذَا رَأَيْتَهُمْ تُعْجِبُكَ أَجْسَامُهُمْ وَإِن يَقُولُوا تَسْمَعْ لِقَوْلِهِمْ كَأَنَّهُمْ خُشُبٌ مُّسَنَّدَةٌ يَحْسَبُونَ كُلَّ صَيْحَةٍ عَلَيْهِمْ هُمُ الْعَدُوُّ فَاحْذَرْهُمْ قَاتَلَهُمُ اللَّهُ أَنَّىٰ يُؤْفَكُونَ
5 وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ تَعَالَوْا يَسْتَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ لَوَّوْا رُءُوسَهُمْ وَرَأَيْتَهُمْ يَصُدُّونَ وَهُم مُّسْتَكْبِرُونَ
6 سَوَاءٌ عَلَيْهِمْ أَسْتَغْفَرْتَ لَهُمْ أَمْ لَمْ تَسْتَغْفِرْ لَهُمْ لَن يَغْفِرَ اللَّهُ لَهُمْ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الْفَاسِقِينَ
7 هُمُ الَّذِينَ يَقُولُونَ لَا تُنفِقُوا عَلَىٰ مَنْ عِندَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ حَتَّىٰ يَنفَضُّوا وَلِلَّهِ خَزَائِنُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَلَٰكِنَّ الْمُنَافِقِينَ لَا يَفْقَهُونَ
8 يَقُولُونَ لَئِن رَّجَعْنَا إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ لَيُخْرِجَنَّ الْأَعَزُّ مِنْهَا الْأَذَلَّ وَلِلَّهِ الْعِزَّةُ وَلِرَسُولِهِ وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَلَٰكِنَّ الْمُنَافِقِينَ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
9 يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تُلْهِكُمْ أَمْوَالُكُمْ وَلَا أَوْلَادُكُمْ عَن ذِكْرِ اللَّهِ وَمَن يَفْعَلْ ذَٰلِكَ فَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْخَاسِرُونَ
10 وَأَنفِقُوا مِن مَّا رَزَقْنَاكُم مِّن قَبْلِ أَن يَأْتِيَ أَحَدَكُمُ الْمَوْتُ فَيَقُولَ رَبِّ لَوْلَا أَخَّرْتَنِي إِلَىٰ أَجَلٍ قَرِيبٍ فَأَصَّدَّقَ وَأَكُن مِّنَ الصَّالِحِينَ
11 وَلَن يُؤَخِّرَ اللَّهُ نَفْسًا إِذَا جَاءَ أَجَلُهَا وَاللَّهُ خَبِيرٌ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ
1 إِذَا جَآءَكَ ٱلْمُنَٰفِقُونَ قَالُواْ نَشْهَدُ إِنَّكَ لَرَسُولُ ٱللَّهِ وَٱللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ إِنَّكَ لَرَسُولُهُ وَٱللَّهُ يَشْهَدُ إِنَّ ٱلْمُنَٰفِقِينَ لَكَٰذِبُونَidhāإذاإِذَاWhenjāakaجاءكجَآءَكَcome to youl-munāfiqūnaالمنافقونٱلْمُنَٰفِقُونَthe hypocrites,qālūقالواقَالُواْthey say,nashhaduنشهدنَشْهَدُ"We testifyinnakaإنكإِنَّكَthat yoularasūluلرسوللَرَسُولُ(are) surely (the) Messengerl-lahiاللهٱللَّهِ(of) Allah."wal-lahuواللهوَٱللَّهُAnd Allahyaʿlamuيعلميَعْلَمُknowsinnakaإنكإِنَّكَthat yoularasūluhuلرسولهلَرَسُولُهُ(are) surely His Messenger,wal-lahuواللهوَٱللَّهُand Allahyashhaduيشهديَشْهَدُtestifiesinnaإنإِنَّthatl-munāfiqīnaالمنافقينٱلْمُنَٰفِقِينَthe hypocriteslakādhibūnaلكاذبونلَكَٰذِبُونَ(are) surely liars.When the hypocrites come unto thee (O Muhammad), they say: We bear witness that thou art indeed Allah's messenger. And Allah knoweth that thou art indeed His messenger, and Allah beareth witness that the hypocrites indeed are speaking falsely.When the hypocrites come to you, they say, “We bear witness that you are indeed the Messenger of Allah” And Allah knows that you are indeed His Messenger, and Allah bears witness that the hypocrites are truly liars.When the hypocrites come to you, [O Muḥammad], they say, "We testify that you are the Messenger of Allāh." And Allāh knows that you are His Messenger, and Allāh testifies that the hypocrites are liars.When the Hypocrites come to thee, they say, "We bear witness that thou art indeed the Messenger of Allah." Yea, Allah knoweth that thou art indeed His Messenger, and Allah beareth witness that the Hypocrites are indeed liars.
2 ٱتَّخَذُوٓاْ أَيْمَٰنَهُمْ جُنَّةٗ فَصَدُّواْ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِۚ إِنَّهُمْ سَآءَ مَا كَانُواْ يَعْمَلُونَittakhadhūاتخذواٱتَّخَذُوٓاْThey takeaymānahumأيمانهمأَيْمَٰنَهُمْtheir oathsjunnatanجنةجُنَّةً(as) a cover,faṣaddūفصدوافَصَدُّواْso they turn awayʿanعنعَنfromsabīliسبيلسَبِيلِ(the) Wayl-lahiاللهٱللَّهِ(of) Allah.innahumإنهمإِنَّهُمْIndeed, [they]sāaساءسَآءَevil isمامَاwhatkānūكانواكَانُواْthey used toyaʿmalūnaيعملونيَعْمَلُونَdo.They make their faith a pretext so that they may turn (men) from the way of Allah. Verily evil is that which they are wont to do,They have taken their oaths as a shield in order to hinder people from the way of Allah. Evil indeed is what they do!They have taken their oaths as a cover, so they averted [people] from the way of Allāh. Indeed, it was evil that they were doing.They have made their oaths a screen (for their misdeeds): thus they obstruct (men) from the Path of Allah: truly evil are their deeds.
3 ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ ءَامَنُواْ ثُمَّ كَفَرُواْ فَطُبِعَ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمْ فَهُمْ لَا يَفْقَهُونَdhālikaذلكذَٰلِكَThatbi-annahumبأنهمبِأَنَّهُمْ(is) becauseāmanūآمنواءَامَنُواْthey believed,thummaثمثُمَّthenkafarūكفرواكَفَرُواْthey disbelieved;faṭubiʿaفطبعفَطُبِعَso were sealedʿalāعلىعَلَىٰ[upon]qulūbihimقلوبهمقُلُوبِهِمْtheir hearts,fahumفهمفَهُمْso theyلالَا(do) notyafqahūnaيفقهونيَفْقَهُونَunderstand.That is because they believed, then disbelieved, therefore their hearts are sealed so that they understand not.That is because they believed, then disbelieved; therefore their hearts have been sealed, so they do not understand.That is because they believed, and then they disbelieved; so their hearts were sealed over, and they do not understand.That is because they believed, then they rejected Faith: So a seal was set on their hearts: therefore they understand not.
4 ۞ وَإِذَا رَأَيْتَهُمْ تُعْجِبُكَ أَجْسَامُهُمْۖ وَإِن يَقُولُواْ تَسْمَعْ لِقَوْلِهِمْۖ كَأَنَّهُمْ خُشُبَ مُّسَنَّدَةَۖ يَحْسَبُونَ كُلَّ صَيْحَةٍ عَلَيْهِمْۚ هُمُ ٱلْعَدُوُّ فَٱحْذَرْهُمْۚ قَٰتَلَهُمُ ٱللَّهُۖ أَنَّىٰ يُؤْفَكُونَwa-idhāوإذاوَإِذَاAnd whenra-aytahumرأيتهمرَأَيْتَهُمْyou see themtuʿ'jibukaتعجبكتُعْجِبُكَpleases youajsāmuhumأجسامهمأَجْسَامُهُمْtheir bodies,wa-inوإنوَإِنand ifyaqūlūيقولوايَقُولُواْthey speak,tasmaʿتسمعتَسْمَعْyou listenliqawlihimلقولهملِقَوْلِهِمْto their speech,ka-annahumكأنهمكَأَنَّهُمْas if they (were)khushubunخشبخُشُبٌpieces of woodmusannadatunمسندةمُّسَنَّدَةٌpropped up.yaḥsabūnaيحسبونيَحْسَبُونَThey thinkkullaكلكُلَّeveryṣayḥatinصيحةصَيْحَةٍshoutʿalayhimعليهمعَلَيْهِمْ(is) against them.humuهمهُمُTheyl-ʿaduwuالعدوٱلْعَدُوُّ(are) the enemy,fa-iḥ'dharhumفاحذرهمفَٱحْذَرْهُمْso beware of them.qātalahumuقاتلهمقَٰتَلَهُمُMay destroy theml-lahuاللهٱللَّهُAllah!annāأنىأَنَّىٰHowyu'fakūnaيؤفكونيُؤْفَكُونَare they deluded?And when thou seest them their figures please thee; and if they speak thou givest ear unto their speech. (They are) as though they were blocks of wood in striped cloaks. They deem every shout to be against them. They are the enemy, so beware of them. Allah confound them! How they are perverted!When you see them, their outward appearance pleases you, and when they speak, you listen to what they say. But they are like planks of wood leaned [against the wall][1]. They deem every cry to be against them. They are the enemy, so beware of them. May Allah destroy them; how are they deluded?And when you see them, their forms please you, and if they speak, you listen to their speech. [They are] as if they were pieces of wood propped up[1690] - they think that every shout is against them. They are the enemy, so beware of them. May Allāh destroy them; how are they deluded?When thou lookest at them, their exteriors please thee; and when they speak, thou listenest to their words. They are as (worthless as hollow) pieces of timber propped up, (unable to stand on their own). They think that every cry is against them. They are the enemies; so beware of them. The curse of Allah be on them! How are they deluded (away from the Truth)!
5 وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ تَعَالَوْاْ يَسْتَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ رَسُولُ ٱللَّهِ لَوَّوْاْ رُءُوسَهُمْ وَرَأَيْتَهُمْ يَصُدُّونَ وَهُم مُّسْتَكْبِرُونَwa-idhāوإذاوَإِذَاAnd whenqīlaقيلقِيلَit is saidlahumلهملَهُمْto them,taʿālawتعالواتَعَالَوْاْ"Come,yastaghfirيستغفريَسْتَغْفِرْwill ask forgivenesslakumلكملَكُمْfor yourasūluرسولرَسُولُ(the) Messengerl-lahiاللهٱللَّهِ(of) Allah."lawwawلووالَوَّوْاْThey turn asideruūsahumرءوسهمرُءُوسَهُمْtheir headswara-aytahumورأيتهموَرَأَيْتَهُمْand you see themyaṣuddūnaيصدونيَصُدُّونَturning awaywahumوهموَهُمwhile theymus'takbirūnaمستكبرونمُّسْتَكْبِرُونَ(are) arrogant.And when it is said unto them: Come! The messenger of Allah will ask forgiveness for you! they avert their faces and thou seest them turning away, disdainful.When it is said to them, “Come, so that the Messenger of Allah may seek forgiveness for you”, they shake their heads, and you see them turning away in arrogance.And when it is said to them, "Come, the Messenger of Allāh will ask forgiveness for you," they turn their heads aside and you see them evading while they are arrogant.And when it is said to them, "Come, the Messenger of Allah will pray for your forgiveness", they turn aside their heads, and thou wouldst see them turning away their faces in arrogance.
6 سَوَآءٌ عَلَيْهِمْ أَسْتَغْفَرْتَ لَهُمْ أَمْ لَمْ تَسْتَغْفِرْ لَهُمْ لَن يَغْفِرَ ٱللَّهُ لَهُمْۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَهْدِي ٱلْقَوْمَ ٱلْفَٰسِقِينَsawāonسواءسَوَآءٌ(It) is sameʿalayhimعليهمعَلَيْهِمْfor themastaghfartaأستغفرتأَسْتَغْفَرْتَwhether you ask forgivenesslahumلهملَهُمْfor themamأمأَمْorlamلملَمْ(do) nottastaghfirتستغفرتَسْتَغْفِرْask forgivenesslahumلهملَهُمْfor them.lanلنلَنNeveryaghfiraيغفريَغْفِرَwill forgivel-lahuاللهٱللَّهُAllahlahumلهملَهُمْ[to] them.innaإنإِنَّIndeed,l-lahaاللهٱللَّهَAllahلالَا(does) notyahdīيهدييَهْدِىguidel-qawmaالقومٱلْقَوْمَthe people,l-fāsiqīnaالفاسقينٱلْفَٰسِقِينَthe defiantly disobedient.Whether thou ask forgiveness for them or ask not forgiveness for them is all one for them; Allah will not forgive them. Lo! Allah guideth not the evil-living folk.It is the same to them whether you seek forgiveness for them or not, Allah will never forgive them. Indeed, Allah does not guide the wicked people.It is all the same for them whether you ask forgiveness for them or do not ask forgiveness for them; never will Allāh forgive them. Indeed, Allāh does not guide the defiantly disobedient people.It is equal to them whether thou pray for their forgiveness or not. Allah will not forgive them. Truly Allah guides not rebellious transgressors.
7 هُمُ ٱلَّذِينَ يَقُولُونَ لَا تُنفِقُواْ عَلَىٰ مَنْ عِندَ رَسُولِ ٱللَّهِ حَتَّىٰ يَنفَضُّواْ وَلِلَّهِ خَزَآئِنُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَلَٰكِنَّ ٱلْمُنَٰفِقِينَ لَا يَفْقَهُونَhumuهمهُمُTheyalladhīnaالذينٱلَّذِينَ(are) those whoyaqūlūnaيقولونيَقُولُونَsay,لالَا"(Do) nottunfiqūتنفقواتُنفِقُواْspendʿalāعلىعَلَىٰonmanمنمَنْ(those) whoʿindaعندعِندَ(are) withrasūliرسولرَسُولِ(the) Messengerl-lahiاللهٱللَّهِ(of) Allahḥattāحتىحَتَّىٰuntilyanfaḍḍūينفضوايَنفَضُّواْthey disband."walillahiوللهوَلِلَّهِAnd for Allahkhazāinuخزائنخَزَآئِنُ(are the) treasuresl-samāwātiالسماواتٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ(of) the heavenswal-arḍiوالأرضوَٱلْأَرْضِand the earth,walākinnaولكنوَلَٰكِنَّbutl-munāfiqīnaالمنافقينٱلْمُنَٰفِقِينَthe hypocritesلالَا(do) notyafqahūnaيفقهونيَفْقَهُونَunderstand.They it is who say: Spend not on behalf of those (who dwell) with Allah's messenger that they may disperse (and go away from you); when Allah's are the treasures of the heavens and the earth; but the hypocrites comprehend not.They are those who say, “Do not spend on those who are with Allah’s Messenger so that they may desert him. But to Allah belong the treasures of the heavens and earth, but the hypocrites do not understand.They are the ones who say, "Do not spend on those who are with the Messenger of Allāh until they disband." And to Allāh belong the depositories of the heavens and the earth, but the hypocrites do not understand.They are the ones who say, "Spend nothing on those who are with Allah's Messenger, to the end that they may disperse (and quit Medina)." But to Allah belong the treasures of the heavens and the earth; but the Hypocrites understand not.
8 يَقُولُونَ لَئِن رَّجَعْنَآ إِلَى ٱلْمَدِينَةِ لَيُخْرِجَنَّ ٱلْأَعَزُّ مِنْهَا ٱلْأَذَلَّۚ وَلِلَّهِ ٱلْعِزَّةُ وَلِرَسُولِهِۦ وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَلَٰكِنَّ ٱلْمُنَٰفِقِينَ لَا يَعْلَمُونَyaqūlūnaيقولونيَقُولُونَThey say,la-inلئنلَئِن"Ifrajaʿnāرجعنارَّجَعْنَآwe returnilāإلىإِلَىtol-madīnatiالمدينةٱلْمَدِينَةِAl-Madinah,layukh'rijannaليخرجنلَيُخْرِجَنَّsurely, will expell-aʿazuالأعزٱلْأَعَزُّthe more honorablemin'hāمنهامِنْهَاfrom itl-adhalaالأذلٱلْأَذَلَّthe more humble."walillahiوللهوَلِلَّهِBut for Allahl-ʿizatuالعزةٱلْعِزَّةُ(is) the honorwalirasūlihiولرسولهوَلِرَسُولِهِۦand for His Messengerwalil'mu'minīnaوللمؤمنينوَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَand for the believers,walākinnaولكنوَلَٰكِنَّbutl-munāfiqīnaالمنافقينٱلْمُنَٰفِقِينَthe hypocritesلالَا(do) notyaʿlamūnaيعلمونيَعْلَمُونَknow.They say: Surely, if we return to Al-Madinah the mightier will soon drive out the weaker; when might belongeth to Allah and to His messenger and to the believers; but the hypocrites know not.They[2] say, “When we return to Madinah, the mightier will surely expel the weaker therefrom.” In fact, all might belongs to Allah and to His Messenger, and to the believers, but the hypocrites do not know.They say, "If we return to al-Madīnah, the more honored [for power] will surely expel therefrom the more humble." And to Allāh belongs [all] honor, and to His Messenger, and to the believers, but the hypocrites do not know.They say, "If we return to Medina, surely the more honourable (element) will expel therefrom the meaner." But honour belongs to Allah and His Messenger, and to the Believers; but the Hypocrites know not.
9 يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ لَا تُلْهِكُمْ أَمْوَٰلُكُمْ وَلَآ أَوْلَٰدُكُمْ عَن ذِكْرِ ٱللَّهِۚ وَمَن يَفْعَلْ ذَٰلِكَ فَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْخَٰسِرُونَyāayyuhāيا أيهايَٰٓأَيُّهَاOalladhīnaالذينٱلَّذِينَyou (who)āmanūآمنواءَامَنُواْbelieve!لالَا(Let) nottul'hikumتلهكمتُلْهِكُمْdivert youamwālukumأموالكمأَمْوَٰلُكُمْyour wealthwalāولاوَلَآand notawlādukumأولادكمأَوْلَٰدُكُمْyour childrenʿanعنعَنfromdhik'riذكرذِكْرِ(the) remembrancel-lahiاللهٱللَّهِ(of) Allah.wamanومنوَمَنAnd whoeveryafʿalيفعليَفْعَلْdoesdhālikaذلكذَٰلِكَthat,fa-ulāikaفأولئكفَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَthen thosehumuهمهُمُ[they]l-khāsirūnaالخاسرونٱلْخَٰسِرُونَ(are) the losers.O ye who believe! Let not your wealth nor your children distract you from remembrance of Allah. Those who do so, they are the losers.O you who believe, do not let your wealth and your children distract you from Allah’s remembrance. For whoever does that, it is they who are the losers.O you who have believed, let not your wealth and your children divert you from the remembrance of Allāh. And whoever does that - then those are the losers.O ye who believe! Let not your riches or your children divert you from the remembrance of Allah. If any act thus, the loss is their own.
10 وَأَنفِقُواْ مِن مَّا رَزَقْنَٰكُم مِّن قَبْلِ أَن يَأْتِيَ أَحَدَكُمُ ٱلْمَوْتُ فَيَقُولَ رَبِّ لَوْلَآ أَخَّرْتَنِيٓ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٖ قَرِيبٖ فَأَصَّدَّقَ وَأَكُن مِّنَ ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَwa-anfiqūوأنفقواوَأَنفِقُواْAnd spendminمنمِنfromمامَّاwhatrazaqnākumرزقناكمرَزَقْنَٰكُمWe have provided youminمنمِّنfromqabliقبلقَبْلِbeforeanأنأَن[that]yatiyaيأتييَأْتِىَcomesaḥadakumuأحدكمأَحَدَكُمُ(to) one of youl-mawtuالموتٱلْمَوْتُthe deathfayaqūlaفيقولفَيَقُولَand he says,rabbiربرَبِّ"My Lord!lawlāلولالَوْلَآWhy notakhartanīأخرتنيأَخَّرْتَنِىٓYou delay meilāإلىإِلَىٰٓforajalinأجلأَجَلٍa termqarībinقريبقَرِيبٍnearfa-aṣṣaddaqaفأصدقفَأَصَّدَّقَso I would give charitywa-akunوأكنوَأَكُنand beminaمنمِّنَamongl-ṣāliḥīnaالصالحينٱلصَّٰلِحِينَthe righteous."And spend of that wherewith We have provided you before death cometh unto one of you and he saith: My Lord! If only thou wouldst reprieve me for a little while, then I would give alms and be among the righteous.And spend from what We have provided for you before death comes to one of you, then he would say, “My Lord, If only You had delayed me for a short while, so that I would give in charity and be one of the righteous.”And spend [in the way of Allāh] from what We have provided you before death approaches one of you and he says, "My Lord, if only You would delay me for a brief term so I would give charity and be of the righteous."and spend something (in charity) out of the substance which We have bestowed on you, before Death should come to any of you and he should say, "O my Lord! why didst Thou not give me respite for a little while? I should then have given (largely) in charity, and I should have been one of the doers of good".
11 وَلَن يُؤَخِّرَ ٱللَّهُ نَفْسًا إِذَا جَآءَ أَجَلُهَاۚ وَٱللَّهُ خَبِيرُۢ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَwalanولنوَلَنBut neveryu-akhiraيؤخريُؤَخِّرَwill (be) delayedl-lahuاللهٱللَّهُ(by) Allahnafsanنفسانَفْسًاa soulidhāإذاإِذَاwhenjāaجاءجَآءَhas comeajaluhāأجلهاأَجَلُهَاits term.wal-lahuواللهوَٱللَّهُAnd Allahkhabīrunخبيرخَبِيرٌۢ(is) All-Awarebimāبمابِمَاof whattaʿmalūnaتعملونتَعْمَلُونَyou do.But Allah reprieveth no soul when its term cometh, and Allah is Informed of what ye do.But Allah will never delay a soul when its appointed time comes, and Allah is All-Aware of what you do.But never will Allāh delay a soul when its time has come. And Allāh is Aware of what you do.But to no soul will Allah grant respite when the time appointed (for it) has come; and Allah is well acquainted with (all) that ye do.
ﲀ ﲁ ﲂ ﲃ ﲄ ﲅ ﲆ ﲇﲈ ﲉ ﲊ ﲋ ﲌ ﲍ ﲎ ﲏ ﲐ ﲑ
ﲓ ﲔ ﲕ ﲖ ﲗ ﲘ ﲙﲚ ﲛ ﲜ ﲝ ﲞ ﲟ
ﲡ ﲢ ﲣ ﲤ ﲥ ﲦ ﲧ ﲨ ﲩ ﲪ ﲫ
ﲭ ﲮ ﲯ ﲰ ﲱﲲ ﲳ ﲴ ﲵ ﲶﲷ ﲸ ﲹ ﲺﲻ ﲼ ﲽ ﲾ ﲿﳀ ﳁ ﳂ ﳃﳄ ﳅ ﳆﳇ ﳈ ﳉ
ﱁ ﱂ ﱃ ﱄ ﱅ ﱆ ﱇ ﱈ ﱉ ﱊ ﱋ ﱌ ﱍ ﱎ
ﱐ ﱑ ﱒ ﱓ ﱔ ﱕ ﱖ ﱗ ﱘ ﱙ ﱚ ﱛﱜ ﱝ ﱞ ﱟ ﱠ ﱡ ﱢ
ﱤ ﱥ ﱦ ﱧ ﱨ ﱩ ﱪ ﱫ ﱬ ﱭ ﱮ ﱯﱰ ﱱ ﱲ ﱳ ﱴ ﱵ ﱶ ﱷ ﱸ
ﱺ ﱻ ﱼ ﱽ ﱾ ﱿ ﲀ ﲁ ﲂﲃ ﲄ ﲅ ﲆ ﲇ ﲈ ﲉ ﲊ ﲋ
ﲍ ﲎ ﲏ ﲐ ﲑ ﲒ ﲓ ﲔ ﲕ ﲖ ﲗﲘ ﲙ ﲚ ﲛ ﲜ ﲝ ﲞ
ﲠ ﲡ ﲢ ﲣ ﲤ ﲥ ﲦ ﲧ ﲨ ﲩ ﲪ ﲫ ﲬ ﲭ ﲮ ﲯ ﲰ ﲱ ﲲ ﲳ ﲴ
ﲶ ﲷ ﲸ ﲹ ﲺ ﲻ ﲼﲽ ﲾ ﲿ ﳀ ﳁ
ﲀ ﲁ ﲂ ﲃ ﲄ ﲅ ﲆ ﲇﲈ ﲉ ﲊ ﲋ
ﲌ ﲍ ﲎ ﲏ ﲐ ﲑ ﲒ
ﲔ ﲕ ﲖ ﲗ ﲘ ﲙﲚ ﲛ ﲜ ﲝ ﲞ
ﲟ ﲠ ﲡ ﲢ ﲣ ﲤ ﲥ ﲦ ﲧ ﲨ ﲩ
ﲪ ﲫ ﲬ ﲭ ﲮ ﲯ ﲰ ﲱﲲ ﲳ ﲴ
ﲵ ﲶﲷ ﲸ ﲹ ﲺﲻ ﲼ ﲽ ﲾ
ﲿﳀ ﳁ ﳂ ﳃﳄ ﳅ ﳆﳇ ﳈ ﳉ ﳊ
ﱁ ﱂ ﱃ ﱄ ﱅ ﱆ ﱇ ﱈ ﱉ ﱊ
ﱋ ﱌ ﱍ ﱎ ﱏ ﱐ ﱑ
ﱒ ﱓ ﱔ ﱕ ﱖ ﱗ ﱘ ﱙ ﱚ ﱛﱜ
ﱝ ﱞ ﱟ ﱠ ﱡ ﱢ ﱣ ﱤ ﱥ ﱦ
ﱧ ﱨ ﱩ ﱪ ﱫ ﱬ ﱭ ﱮ ﱯﱰ ﱱ
ﱲ ﱳ ﱴ ﱵ ﱶ ﱷ ﱸ
ﱺ ﱻ ﱼ ﱽ ﱾ ﱿ ﲀ
ﲁ ﲂﲃ ﲄ ﲅ ﲆ ﲇ ﲈ
ﲉ ﲊ ﲋ ﲌ ﲍ ﲎ ﲏ ﲐ ﲑ
ﲒ ﲓ ﲔ ﲕ ﲖ ﲗﲘ ﲙ ﲚ
ﲛ ﲜ ﲝ ﲞ ﲟ ﲠ ﲡ ﲢ ﲣ
ﲤ ﲥ ﲦ ﲧ ﲨ ﲩ ﲪ ﲫ ﲬ ﲭ

ﲷ ﲸ ﲹ ﲺ ﲻ ﲼﲽ ﲾ ﲿ ﳀ ﳁ ﳂ
إِذَا جَاءَكَ الْمُنَافِقُونَ قَالُوا نَشْهَدُ إِنَّكَ لَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ وَاللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ إِنَّكَ
لَرَسُولُهُ وَاللَّهُ يَشْهَدُ إِنَّ الْمُنَافِقِينَ لَكَاذِبُونَ ١ اتَّخَذُوا
أَيْمَانَهُمْ جُنَّةً فَصَدُّوا عَن سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ إِنَّهُمْ سَاءَ مَا كَانُوا
يَعْمَلُونَ ٢ ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ آمَنُوا ثُمَّ كَفَرُوا فَطُبِعَ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمْ فَهُمْ
لَا يَفْقَهُونَ ٣ ۞ وَإِذَا رَأَيْتَهُمْ تُعْجِبُكَ أَجْسَامُهُمْ وَإِن
يَقُولُوا تَسْمَعْ لِقَوْلِهِمْ كَأَنَّهُمْ خُشُبٌ مُّسَنَّدَةٌ يَحْسَبُونَ كُلَّ
صَيْحَةٍ عَلَيْهِمْ هُمُ الْعَدُوُّ فَاحْذَرْهُمْ قَاتَلَهُمُ اللَّهُ أَنَّىٰ يُؤْفَكُونَ ٤
وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ تَعَالَوْا يَسْتَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ لَوَّوْا رُءُوسَهُمْ
وَرَأَيْتَهُمْ يَصُدُّونَ وَهُم مُّسْتَكْبِرُونَ ٥ سَوَاءٌ عَلَيْهِمْ
أَسْتَغْفَرْتَ لَهُمْ أَمْ لَمْ تَسْتَغْفِرْ لَهُمْ لَن يَغْفِرَ اللَّهُ لَهُمْ
إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الْفَاسِقِينَ ٦ هُمُ الَّذِينَ يَقُولُونَ
لَا تُنفِقُوا عَلَىٰ مَنْ عِندَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ حَتَّىٰ يَنفَضُّوا وَلِلَّهِ
خَزَائِنُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَلَٰكِنَّ الْمُنَافِقِينَ لَا يَفْقَهُونَ
٧ يَقُولُونَ لَئِن رَّجَعْنَا إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ لَيُخْرِجَنَّ الْأَعَزُّ
مِنْهَا الْأَذَلَّ وَلِلَّهِ الْعِزَّةُ وَلِرَسُولِهِ وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَلَٰكِنَّ
الْمُنَافِقِينَ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ ٨ يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا
تُلْهِكُمْ أَمْوَالُكُمْ وَلَا أَوْلَادُكُمْ عَن ذِكْرِ اللَّهِ وَمَن
يَفْعَلْ ذَٰلِكَ فَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْخَاسِرُونَ ٩ وَأَنفِقُوا مِن مَّا رَزَقْنَاكُم
مِّن قَبْلِ أَن يَأْتِيَ أَحَدَكُمُ الْمَوْتُ فَيَقُولَ رَبِّ لَوْلَا أَخَّرْتَنِي
إِلَىٰ أَجَلٍ قَرِيبٍ فَأَصَّدَّقَ وَأَكُن مِّنَ الصَّالِحِينَ ١٠ وَلَن
يُؤَخِّرَ اللَّهُ نَفْسًا إِذَا جَاءَ أَجَلُهَا وَاللَّهُ خَبِيرٌ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ ١١
إِذَا جَآءَكَ ٱلْمُنَٰفِقُونَ قَالُواْ نَشْهَدُ إِنَّكَ لَرَسُولُ ٱللَّهِ وَٱللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ إِنَّكَ
لَرَسُولُهُ وَٱللَّهُ يَشْهَدُ إِنَّ ٱلْمُنَٰفِقِينَ لَكَٰذِبُونَ ۝١ ٱتَّخَذُوٓاْ
أَيْمَٰنَهُمْ جُنَّةٗ فَصَدُّواْ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِۚ إِنَّهُمْ سَآءَ مَا كَانُواْ
يَعْمَلُونَ ۝٢ ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ ءَامَنُواْ ثُمَّ كَفَرُواْ فَطُبِعَ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمْ فَهُمْ
لَا يَفْقَهُونَ ۝٣ وَإِذَا رَأَيْتَهُمْ تُعْجِبُكَ أَجْسَامُهُمْۖ وَإِن يَقُولُواْ
تَسْمَعْ لِقَوْلِهِمْۖ كَأَنَّهُمْ خُشُبَ مُّسَنَّدَةَۖ يَحْسَبُونَ كُلَّ صَيْحَةٍ
عَلَيْهِمْۚ هُمُ ٱلْعَدُوُّ فَٱحْذَرْهُمْۚ قَٰتَلَهُمُ ٱللَّهُۖ أَنَّىٰ يُؤْفَكُونَ ۝٤
وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ تَعَالَوْاْ يَسْتَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ رَسُولُ ٱللَّهِ لَوَّوْاْ رُءُوسَهُمْ
وَرَأَيْتَهُمْ يَصُدُّونَ وَهُم مُّسْتَكْبِرُونَ ۝٥ سَوَآءٌ عَلَيْهِمْ
أَسْتَغْفَرْتَ لَهُمْ أَمْ لَمْ تَسْتَغْفِرْ لَهُمْ لَن يَغْفِرَ ٱللَّهُ لَهُمْۚ
إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَهْدِي ٱلْقَوْمَ ٱلْفَٰسِقِينَ ۝٦ هُمُ ٱلَّذِينَ يَقُولُونَ
لَا تُنفِقُواْ عَلَىٰ مَنْ عِندَ رَسُولِ ٱللَّهِ حَتَّىٰ يَنفَضُّواْ وَلِلَّهِ
خَزَآئِنُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَلَٰكِنَّ ٱلْمُنَٰفِقِينَ لَا يَفْقَهُونَ
۝٧ يَقُولُونَ لَئِن رَّجَعْنَآ إِلَى ٱلْمَدِينَةِ لَيُخْرِجَنَّ ٱلْأَعَزُّ
مِنْهَا ٱلْأَذَلَّۚ وَلِلَّهِ ٱلْعِزَّةُ وَلِرَسُولِهِۦ وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَلَٰكِنَّ
ٱلْمُنَٰفِقِينَ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ ۝٨ يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ لَا تُلْهِكُمْ
أَمْوَٰلُكُمْ وَلَآ أَوْلَٰدُكُمْ عَن ذِكْرِ ٱللَّهِۚ وَمَن يَفْعَلْ
ذَٰلِكَ فَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْخَٰسِرُونَ ۝٩ وَأَنفِقُواْ مِن مَّا رَزَقْنَٰكُم
مِّن قَبْلِ أَن يَأْتِيَ أَحَدَكُمُ ٱلْمَوْتُ فَيَقُولَ رَبِّ لَوْلَآ أَخَّرْتَنِيٓ
إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٖ قَرِيبٖ فَأَصَّدَّقَ وَأَكُن مِّنَ ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ ۝١٠ وَلَن
يُؤَخِّرَ ٱللَّهُ نَفْسًا إِذَا جَآءَ أَجَلُهَاۚ وَٱللَّهُ خَبِيرُۢ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ ۝١١
ﲀ ﲁ ﲂ ﲃ ﲄ ﲅ ﲆ ﲇﲈ ﲉ ﲊ ﲋ
ﲌ ﲍ ﲎ ﲏ ﲐ ﲑ ﲒ
ﲔ ﲕ ﲖ ﲗ ﲘ ﲙﲚ ﲛ ﲜ ﲝ ﲞ
ﲟ ﲠ ﲡ ﲢ ﲣ ﲤ ﲥ ﲦ ﲧ ﲨ ﲩ
ﲪ ﲫ ﲬ ﲭ ﲮ ﲯ ﲰ ﲱﲲ ﲳ ﲴ
