Those Who Give Short Measure
1 وَيۡلٞ لِّلۡمُطَفِّفِينَwaylunويلوَيْلٌWoelil'muṭaffifīnaللمطففينلِّلْمُطَفِّفِينَto those who give less,Woe to the defrauders[1],Woe unto the defrauders:Woe to those who give less [than due],[1878]Woe to those that deal in fraud,-
2 ٱلَّذِينَ إِذَا ٱكۡتَالُواْ عَلَى ٱلنَّاسِ يَسۡتَوۡفُونَalladhīnaالذينٱلَّذِينَThose whoidhāإذاإِذَاwhenik'tālūاكتالواٱكْتَالُواْthey take a measureʿalāعلىعَلَىfroml-nāsiالناسٱلنَّاسِthe people,yastawfūnaيستوفونيَسْتَوْفُونَthey take in full,those who take full measure when they take from others,Those who when they take the measure from mankind demand it full,Who, when they take a measure from people, take in full.Those who, when they have to receive by measure from men, exact full measure,
3 وَإِذَا كَالُوهُمۡ أَو وَّزَنُوهُمۡ يُخۡسِرُونَwa-idhāوإذاوَإِذَاBut whenkālūhumكالوهمكَالُوهُمْthey give by measure (to) themawأوأَوorwazanūhumوزنوهموَّزَنُوهُمْthey weigh (for) themyukh'sirūnaيخسرونيُخْسِرُونَthey give less.but they give less when they measure or weigh for them.But if they measure unto them or weight for them, they cause them loss.But if they give by measure or by weight to them, they cause loss.But when they have to give by measure or weight to men, give less than due.
4 أَلَا يَظُنُّ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ أَنَّهُم مَّبۡعُوثُونَalāألاأَلَاDo notyaẓunnuيظنيَظُنُّthinkulāikaأولئكأُوْلَٰٓئِكَthoseannahumأنهمأَنَّهُمthat theymabʿūthūnaمبعوثونمَّبْعُوثُونَ(will be) resurrected,Do such (men) not consider that they will be raised againDo they really not think that they will be resurrectedDo they not think that they will be resurrectedDo they not think that they will be called to account?-
5 لِيَوۡمٍ عَظِيمٖliyawminليوملِيَوْمٍFor a DayʿaẓīminعظيمعَظِيمٍGreat,Unto an Awful Day,for a momentous Day,For a tremendous Day -On a Mighty Day,
6 يَوۡمَ يَقُومُ ٱلنَّاسُ لِرَبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَyawmaيوميَوْمَ(The) Dayyaqūmuيقوميَقُومُwill standl-nāsuالناسٱلنَّاسُmankindlirabbiلربلِرَبِّbefore (the) Lordl-ʿālamīnaالعالمينٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ(of) the worlds?The day when (all) mankind stand before the Lord of the Worlds?a Day when people will stand before the Lord of the worlds?The Day when mankind will stand before the Lord of the worlds?A Day when (all) mankind will stand before the Lord of the Worlds?
7 كَلَّآ إِنَّ كِتَٰبَ ٱلۡفُجَّارِ لَفِي سِجِّينٖkallāكلاكَلَّآNay!innaإنإِنَّIndeed,kitābaكتابكِتَٰبَ(the) recordl-fujāriالفجارٱلْفُجَّارِ(of) the wickedlafīلفيلَفِى(is) surely insijjīninسجينسِجِّينٍSijjin.Nay, but the record of the vile is in Sijjin -No indeed! The record of the wicked is surely in Sijjīn.No! Indeed, the record of the wicked is in sijjeen.Nay! Surely the record of the wicked is (preserved) in Sijjin.
8 وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا سِجِّينٞwamāوماوَمَآAnd whatadrākaأدراكأَدْرَىٰكَcan make you knowmāمامَاwhatsijjīnunسجينسِجِّينٌ(is) Sijjin?Ah! what will convey unto thee what Sijjin is! -How do you know what Sijjīn is?And what can make you know what is sijjeen?And what will explain to thee what Sijjin is?
9 كِتَٰبٞ مَّرۡقُومٞkitābunكتابكِتَٰبٌA bookmarqūmunمرقوممَّرْقُومٌwritten.A written record.It is a clearly inscribed Record.It is [their destination[1879] recorded in] a register inscribed.(There is) a Register (fully) inscribed.
10 وَيۡلٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَwaylunويلوَيْلٌWoeyawma-idhinيومئذيَوْمَئِذٍthat Daylil'mukadhibīnaللمكذبينلِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَto the deniers,Woe unto the repudiators on that day!Woe on that Day to the deniers,Woe, that Day, to the deniers,Woe, that Day, to those that deny-
11 ٱلَّذِينَ يُكَذِّبُونَ بِيَوۡمِ ٱلدِّينِalladhīnaالذينٱلَّذِينَThose whoyukadhibūnaيكذبونيُكَذِّبُونَdenybiyawmiبيومبِيَوْمِ(the) Dayl-dīniالدينٱلدِّينِ(of) the Judgment.Those who deny the Day of Judgmentthose who deny the Judgment Day!Who deny the Day of Recompense.Those that deny the Day of Judgment.
12 وَمَا يُكَذِّبُ بِهِۦٓ إِلَّا كُلُّ مُعۡتَدٍ أَثِيمٍwamāوماوَمَاAnd notyukadhibuيكذبيُكَذِّبُcan denybihiبهبِهِۦٓ[of] itillāإلاإِلَّاexceptkulluكلكُلُّeverymuʿ'tadinمعتدمُعْتَدٍtransgressorathīminأثيمأَثِيمٍsinful.Which none denieth save each criminal transgressor,None denies it except every sinful transgressor.And none deny it except every sinful transgressor.And none can deny it but the Transgressor beyond bounds the Sinner!
13 إِذَا تُتۡلَىٰ عَلَيۡهِ ءَايَٰتُنَا قَالَ أَسَٰطِيرُ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَidhāإذاإِذَاWhentut'lāتتلىتُتْلَىٰare recitedʿalayhiعليهعَلَيْهِto himāyātunāآياتناءَايَٰتُنَاOur Verses,qālaقالقَالَhe says,asāṭīruأساطيرأَسَٰطِيرُ"Storiesl-awalīnaالأولينٱلْأَوَّلِينَ(of) the former (people)."Who, when thou readest unto him Our revelations, saith: (Mere) fables of the men of old.When Our verses are recited to him, he says, “Ancient fables[2]!”When Our verses are recited to him, he says, "Legends of the former peoples."When Our Signs are rehearsed to him, he says, "Tales of the ancients!"
14 كَلَّاۖ بَلۡۜ رَانَ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِم مَّا كَانُواْ يَكۡسِبُونَkallāكلاكَلَّاNay!balبلبَلْBut,rānaرانرَانَ(the) stain has coveredʿalāعلىعَلَىٰ[over]qulūbihimقلوبهمقُلُوبِهِمtheir heartsmāمامَّا(for) whatkānūكانواكَانُواْthey used toyaksibūnaيكسبونيَكْسِبُونَearn.Nay, but that which they have earned is rust upon their hearts.No indeed! Their hearts have been stained by what they used to commit[3]!No! Rather, the stain has covered their hearts of that which they were earning.[1880]By no means! but on their hearts is the stain of the (ill) which they do!
15 كَلَّآ إِنَّهُمۡ عَن رَّبِّهِمۡ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لَّمَحۡجُوبُونَkallāكلاكَلَّآNay!innahumإنهمإِنَّهُمْIndeed, theyʿanعنعَنfromrabbihimربهمرَّبِّهِمْtheir Lordyawma-idhinيومئذيَوْمَئِذٍthat Daylamaḥjūbūnaلمحجوبونلَّمَحْجُوبُونَsurely will be partitioned.No indeed! On that Day they will be barred from seeing their Lord[4].Nay, but surely on that day they will be covered from (the mercy of) their Lord.No! Indeed, from their Lord, that Day, they will be partitioned.[1881]Verily, from (the Light of) their Lord, that Day, will they be veiled.
16 ثُمَّ إِنَّهُمۡ لَصَالُواْ ٱلۡجَحِيمِthummaثمثُمَّTheninnahumإنهمإِنَّهُمْindeed, theylaṣālūلصالولَصَالُواْ(surely) will burnl-jaḥīmiالجحيمٱلْجَحِيمِ(in) the Hellfire.They will then surely enter the Blazing Fire,Then lo! they verily will burn in hell,Then indeed, they will [enter and] burn in Hellfire.Further, they will enter the Fire of Hell.
17 ثُمَّ يُقَالُ هَٰذَا ٱلَّذِي كُنتُم بِهِۦ تُكَذِّبُونَthummaثمثُمَّThenyuqāluيقاليُقَالُit will be said,hādhāهذاهَٰذَا"Thisalladhīالذيٱلَّذِى(is) whatkuntumكنتمكُنتُمyou used tobihiبهبِهِۦ[of it]tukadhibūnaتكذبونتُكَذِّبُونَdeny."then they will be told, “This is what you used to deny.”And it will be said (unto them): This is that which ye used to deny.Then it will be said [to them], "This is what you used to deny."Further, it will be said to them: "This is the (reality) which ye rejected as false!
18 كَلَّآ إِنَّ كِتَٰبَ ٱلۡأَبۡرَارِ لَفِي عِلِّيِّينَkallāكلاكَلَّآNay!innaإنإِنَّIndeed,kitābaكتابكِتَٰبَ(the) recordl-abrāriالأبرارٱلْأَبْرَارِ(of) the righteouslafīلفيلَفِى(will be) surely inʿilliyyīnaعليينعِلِّيِّينَIlliyin.Nay, but the record of the righteous is in 'Illiyin -No indeed! The record of the righteous is certainly in ‘illiyyīn –No! Indeed, the record of the righteous is in ʿilliyyūn.Nay, verily the record of the Righteous is (preserved) in 'Illiyin.
19 وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا عِلِّيُّونَwamāوماوَمَآAnd whatadrākaأدراكأَدْرَىٰكَcan make you knowmāمامَاwhatʿilliyyūnaعليونعِلِّيُّونَ(is) Illiyun?Ah, what will convey unto thee what 'Illiyin is! -and how do you know what ‘illiyyūn is? –And what can make you know what is ʿilliyyūn?And what will explain to thee what 'Illiyun is?
20 كِتَٰبٞ مَّرۡقُومٞkitābunكتابكِتَٰبٌA bookmarqūmunمرقوممَّرْقُومٌwritten,A written record,It is a record inscribed,It is [their destination[1882] recorded in] a register inscribed(There is) a Register (fully) inscribed,
21 يَشۡهَدُهُ ٱلۡمُقَرَّبُونَyashhaduhuيشهدهيَشْهَدُهُWitness itl-muqarabūnaالمقربونٱلْمُقَرَّبُونَthose brought near.Attested by those who are brought near (unto their Lord).witnessed by those who are close to Allah.Which is witnessed by those brought near [to Allāh].To which bear witness those Nearest (to Allah).
22 إِنَّ ٱلۡأَبۡرَارَ لَفِي نَعِيمٍinnaإنإِنَّIndeed,l-abrāraالأبرارٱلْأَبْرَارَthe righteouslafīلفيلَفِى(will be) surely innaʿīminنعيمنَعِيمٍbliss,Lo! the righteous verily are in delight,Indeed, the righteous will be in Bliss,Indeed, the righteous will be in pleasureTruly the Righteous will be in Bliss:
23 عَلَى ٱلۡأَرَآئِكِ يَنظُرُونَʿalāعلىعَلَىOnl-arāikiالأرائكٱلْأَرَآئِكِthronesyanẓurūnaينظرونيَنظُرُونَobserving.On couches, gazing,seated on the couches, gazing in wonder.On adorned couches, observing.On Thrones (of Dignity) will they command a sight (of all things):
24 تَعۡرِفُ فِي وُجُوهِهِمۡ نَضۡرَةَ ٱلنَّعِيمِtaʿrifuتعرفتَعْرِفُYou will recognizefīفيفِىinwujūhihimوجوههموُجُوهِهِمْtheir facesnaḍrataنضرةنَضْرَةَ(the) radiancel-naʿīmiالنعيمٱلنَّعِيمِ(of) bliss.Thou wilt know in their faces the radiance of delight.You will see on their faces the radiance of bliss.You will recognize in their faces the radiance of pleasure.Thou wilt recognise in their faces the beaming brightness of Bliss.
25 يُسۡقَوۡنَ مِن رَّحِيقٖ مَّخۡتُومٍyus'qawnaيسقونيُسْقَوْنَThey will be given to drinkminمنمِنofraḥīqinرحيقرَّحِيقٍa pure winemakhtūminمختوممَّخْتُومٍsealed,They are given to drink of a pure wine, sealed,They will be served to drink pure wine from a sealed container,They will be given to drink [pure] wine[1883] [which was] sealed.Their thirst will be slaked with Pure Wine sealed:
26 خِتَٰمُهُۥ مِسۡكٞۚ وَفِي ذَٰلِكَ فَلۡيَتَنَافَسِ ٱلۡمُتَنَٰفِسُونَkhitāmuhuختامهخِتَٰمُهُۥIts sealmis'kunمسكمِسْكٌ(will be of) musk.wafīوفيوَفِىAnd fordhālikaذلكذَٰلِكَthatfalyatanāfasiفليتنافسفَلْيَتَنَافَسِlet aspirel-mutanāfisūnaالمتنافسونٱلْمُتَنَٰفِسُونَthe aspirers.Whose seal is musk - for this let (all) those strive who strive for bliss -whose last sip is musk[5] – let those who strive, strive for that –The last of it[1884] is musk. So for this let the competitors compete.The seal thereof will be Musk: And for this let those aspire, who have aspirations:
27 وَمِزَاجُهُۥ مِن تَسۡنِيمٍwamizājuhuومزاجهوَمِزَاجُهُۥAnd its mixtureminمنمِن(is) oftasnīminتسنيمتَسْنِيمٍTasneem,and it will be mixed with water from the spring of Tasnīm[6],And mixed with water of Tasnim,And its mixture is of Tasneem,[1885]With it will be (given) a mixture of Tasnim:
28 عَيۡنٗا يَشۡرَبُ بِهَا ٱلۡمُقَرَّبُونَʿaynanعيناعَيْنًاA spring,yashrabuيشربيَشْرَبُwill drinkbihāبهابِهَاfrom it,l-muqarabūnaالمقربونٱلْمُقَرَّبُونَthose brought near.a spring from which those who are close to Allah will drink.A spring whence those brought near (to Allah) drink.A spring from which those near [to Allāh] drink.A spring, from (the waters) whereof drink those Nearest to Allah.
29 إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ أَجۡرَمُواْ كَانُواْ مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ يَضۡحَكُونَinnaإنإِنَّIndeed,alladhīnaالذينٱلَّذِينَthose whoajramūأجرمواأَجْرَمُواْcommitted crimeskānūكانواكَانُواْused tominaمنمِنَatalladhīnaالذينٱلَّذِينَthose whoāmanūآمنواءَامَنُواْbelievedyaḍḥakūnaيضحكونيَضْحَكُونَlaugh.Indeed, the wicked used to laugh at the believers;Lo! the guilty used to laugh at those who believed,Indeed, those who committed crimes used to laugh at those who believed.Those in sin used to laugh at those who believed,
30 وَإِذَا مَرُّواْ بِهِمۡ يَتَغَامَزُونَwa-idhāوإذاوَإِذَاAnd whenmarrūمروامَرُّواْthey passedbihimبهمبِهِمْby them,yataghāmazūnaيتغامزونيَتَغَامَزُونَthey winked at one another.when they passed by them, they would wink at one another,And wink one to another when they passed them;And when they passed by them, they would exchange derisive glances.And whenever they passed by them, used to wink at each other (in mockery);
31 وَإِذَا ٱنقَلَبُوٓاْ إِلَىٰٓ أَهۡلِهِمُ ٱنقَلَبُواْ فَكِهِينَwa-idhāوإذاوَإِذَاAnd wheninqalabūانقلبواٱنقَلَبُوٓاْthey returnedilāإلىإِلَىٰٓtoahlihimuأهلهمأَهْلِهِمُtheir people,inqalabūانقلبواٱنقَلَبُواْthey would returnfakihīnaفكهينفَكِهِينَjesting.And when they returned to their own folk, they returned jesting;and when they went back to their people, they would return exulting.And when they returned to their people, they would return jesting.And when they returned to their own people, they would return jesting;
32 وَإِذَا رَأَوۡهُمۡ قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ لَضَآلُّونَwa-idhāوإذاوَإِذَاAnd whenra-awhumرأوهمرَأَوْهُمْthey saw them,qālūقالواقَالُوٓاْthey said,innaإنإِنَّ"Indeed,hāulāiهؤلاءهَٰٓؤُلَآءِtheselaḍāllūnaلضالونلَضَآلُّونَsurely have gone astray."And when they saw them they said: Lo! these have gone astray.When they saw the believers, they would say, “These people are truly misguided,”And when they saw them, they would say, "Indeed, those are truly lost."And whenever they saw them, they would say, "Behold! These are the people truly astray!"
33 وَمَآ أُرۡسِلُواْ عَلَيۡهِمۡ حَٰفِظِينَwamāوماوَمَآBut notur'silūأرسلواأُرْسِلُواْthey had been sentʿalayhimعليهمعَلَيْهِمْover themḥāfiẓīnaحافظينحَٰفِظِينَ(as) guardians.Yet they were not sent as guardians over them.although they were not sent as their keepers.But they had not been sent as guardians over them.But they had not been sent as keepers over them!
34 فَٱلۡيَوۡمَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ مِنَ ٱلۡكُفَّارِ يَضۡحَكُونَfal-yawmaفاليومفَٱلْيَوْمَSo todayalladhīnaالذينٱلَّذِينَthose whoāmanūآمنواءَامَنُواْbelieved -minaمنمِنَatl-kufāriالكفارٱلْكُفَّارِthe disbelieversyaḍḥakūnaيضحكونيَضْحَكُونَthey will laugh,This day it is those who believe who have the laugh of disbelievers,So Today[7] the believers will laugh at the disbelievers,So Today[1886] those who believed are laughing at the disbelievers,But on this Day the Believers will laugh at the Unbelievers:
35 عَلَى ٱلۡأَرَآئِكِ يَنظُرُونَʿalāعلىعَلَىOnl-arāikiالأرائكٱلْأَرَآئِكِthe thronesyanẓurūnaينظرونيَنظُرُونَobserving.On high couches, gazing.while sitting on the couches, gazing around.On adorned couches, observing.On Thrones (of Dignity) they will command (a sight) (of all things).
36 هَلۡ ثُوِّبَ ٱلۡكُفَّارُ مَا كَانُواْ يَفۡعَلُونَhalهلهَلْHave (not)thuwwibaثوبثُوِّبَbeen rewardedl-kufāruالكفارٱلْكُفَّارُthe disbelieversmāمامَا(for) whatkānūكانواكَانُواْthey used toyafʿalūnaيفعلونيَفْعَلُونَdo?Are not the disbelievers paid for what they used to do?Have the disbelievers been rewarded except for what they used to do?Have the disbelievers [not] been rewarded [this Day] for what they used to do?Will not the Unbelievers have been paid back for what they did?
1 وَيْلٌ لِّلْمُطَفِّفِينَ
2 الَّذِينَ إِذَا اكْتَالُوا عَلَى النَّاسِ يَسْتَوْفُونَ
3 وَإِذَا كَالُوهُمْ أَو وَّزَنُوهُمْ يُخْسِرُونَ
4 أَلَا يَظُنُّ أُولَٰئِكَ أَنَّهُم مَّبْعُوثُونَ
5 لِيَوْمٍ عَظِيمٍ
6 يَوْمَ يَقُومُ النَّاسُ لِرَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ
7 كَلَّا إِنَّ كِتَابَ الْفُجَّارِ لَفِي سِجِّينٍ
8 وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا سِجِّينٌ
9 كِتَابٌ مَّرْقُومٌ
10 وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
11 الَّذِينَ يُكَذِّبُونَ بِيَوْمِ الدِّينِ
12 وَمَا يُكَذِّبُ بِهِ إِلَّا كُلُّ مُعْتَدٍ أَثِيمٍ
13 إِذَا تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِ آيَاتُنَا قَالَ أَسَاطِيرُ الْأَوَّلِينَ
14 كَلَّا بَلْ رَانَ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِم مَّا كَانُوا يَكْسِبُونَ
15 كَلَّا إِنَّهُمْ عَن رَّبِّهِمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ لَّمَحْجُوبُونَ
16 ثُمَّ إِنَّهُمْ لَصَالُو الْجَحِيمِ
17 ثُمَّ يُقَالُ هَٰذَا الَّذِي كُنتُم بِهِ تُكَذِّبُونَ
18 كَلَّا إِنَّ كِتَابَ الْأَبْرَارِ لَفِي عِلِّيِّينَ
19 وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا عِلِّيُّونَ
20 كِتَابٌ مَّرْقُومٌ
21 يَشْهَدُهُ الْمُقَرَّبُونَ
22 إِنَّ الْأَبْرَارَ لَفِي نَعِيمٍ
23 عَلَى الْأَرَائِكِ يَنظُرُونَ
24 تَعْرِفُ فِي وُجُوهِهِمْ نَضْرَةَ النَّعِيمِ
25 يُسْقَوْنَ مِن رَّحِيقٍ مَّخْتُومٍ
26 خِتَامُهُ مِسْكٌ وَفِي ذَٰلِكَ فَلْيَتَنَافَسِ الْمُتَنَافِسُونَ
27 وَمِزَاجُهُ مِن تَسْنِيمٍ
28 عَيْنًا يَشْرَبُ بِهَا الْمُقَرَّبُونَ
29 إِنَّ الَّذِينَ أَجْرَمُوا كَانُوا مِنَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا يَضْحَكُونَ
30 وَإِذَا مَرُّوا بِهِمْ يَتَغَامَزُونَ
31 وَإِذَا انقَلَبُوا إِلَىٰ أَهْلِهِمُ انقَلَبُوا فَكِهِينَ
32 وَإِذَا رَأَوْهُمْ قَالُوا إِنَّ هَٰؤُلَاءِ لَضَالُّونَ
33 وَمَا أُرْسِلُوا عَلَيْهِمْ حَافِظِينَ
34 فَالْيَوْمَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مِنَ الْكُفَّارِ يَضْحَكُونَ
35 عَلَى الْأَرَائِكِ يَنظُرُونَ
36 هَلْ ثُوِّبَ الْكُفَّارُ مَا كَانُوا يَفْعَلُونَ
1 وَيْلَ لِّلْمُطَفِّفِينَwaylunويلوَيْلٌWoelil'muṭaffifīnaللمطففينلِّلْمُطَفِّفِينَto those who give less,Woe to the defrauders[1],Woe unto the defrauders:Woe to those who give less [than due],[1878]Woe to those that deal in fraud,-
2 ٱلَّذِينَ إِذَا ٱكْتَالُواْ عَلَى ٱلنَّاسِ يَسْتَوْفُونَalladhīnaالذينٱلَّذِينَThose whoidhāإذاإِذَاwhenik'tālūاكتالواٱكْتَالُواْthey take a measureʿalāعلىعَلَىfroml-nāsiالناسٱلنَّاسِthe people,yastawfūnaيستوفونيَسْتَوْفُونَthey take in full,those who take full measure when they take from others,Those who when they take the measure from mankind demand it full,Who, when they take a measure from people, take in full.Those who, when they have to receive by measure from men, exact full measure,
3 وَإِذَا كَالُوهُمْ أَو وَّزَنُوهُمْ يُخْسِرُونَwa-idhāوإذاوَإِذَاBut whenkālūhumكالوهمكَالُوهُمْthey give by measure (to) themawأوأَوorwazanūhumوزنوهموَّزَنُوهُمْthey weigh (for) themyukh'sirūnaيخسرونيُخْسِرُونَthey give less.but they give less when they measure or weigh for them.But if they measure unto them or weight for them, they cause them loss.But if they give by measure or by weight to them, they cause loss.But when they have to give by measure or weight to men, give less than due.
4 أَلَا يَظُنُّ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ أَنَّهُم مَّبْعُوثُونَalāألاأَلَاDo notyaẓunnuيظنيَظُنُّthinkulāikaأولئكأُوْلَٰٓئِكَthoseannahumأنهمأَنَّهُمthat theymabʿūthūnaمبعوثونمَّبْعُوثُونَ(will be) resurrected,Do such (men) not consider that they will be raised againDo they really not think that they will be resurrectedDo they not think that they will be resurrectedDo they not think that they will be called to account?-
5 لِيَوْمٍ عَظِيمٖliyawminليوملِيَوْمٍFor a DayʿaẓīminعظيمعَظِيمٍGreat,Unto an Awful Day,for a momentous Day,For a tremendous Day -On a Mighty Day,
6 يَوْمَ يَقُومُ ٱلنَّاسُ لِرَبِّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَyawmaيوميَوْمَ(The) Dayyaqūmuيقوميَقُومُwill standl-nāsuالناسٱلنَّاسُmankindlirabbiلربلِرَبِّbefore (the) Lordl-ʿālamīnaالعالمينٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ(of) the worlds?The day when (all) mankind stand before the Lord of the Worlds?a Day when people will stand before the Lord of the worlds?The Day when mankind will stand before the Lord of the worlds?A Day when (all) mankind will stand before the Lord of the Worlds?
7 كَلَّآ إِنَّ كِتَٰبَ ٱلْفُجَّارِ لَفِي سِجِّينٖkallāكلاكَلَّآNay!innaإنإِنَّIndeed,kitābaكتابكِتَٰبَ(the) recordl-fujāriالفجارٱلْفُجَّارِ(of) the wickedlafīلفيلَفِى(is) surely insijjīninسجينسِجِّينٍSijjin.Nay, but the record of the vile is in Sijjin -No indeed! The record of the wicked is surely in Sijjīn.No! Indeed, the record of the wicked is in sijjeen.Nay! Surely the record of the wicked is (preserved) in Sijjin.
8 وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا سِجِّينَwamāوماوَمَآAnd whatadrākaأدراكأَدْرَىٰكَcan make you knowmāمامَاwhatsijjīnunسجينسِجِّينٌ(is) Sijjin?Ah! what will convey unto thee what Sijjin is! -How do you know what Sijjīn is?And what can make you know what is sijjeen?And what will explain to thee what Sijjin is?
9 كِتَٰبَ مَّرْقُومَkitābunكتابكِتَٰبٌA bookmarqūmunمرقوممَّرْقُومٌwritten.A written record.It is a clearly inscribed Record.It is [their destination[1879] recorded in] a register inscribed.(There is) a Register (fully) inscribed.
10 وَيْلَ يَوْمَئِذٖ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَwaylunويلوَيْلٌWoeyawma-idhinيومئذيَوْمَئِذٍthat Daylil'mukadhibīnaللمكذبينلِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَto the deniers,Woe unto the repudiators on that day!Woe on that Day to the deniers,Woe, that Day, to the deniers,Woe, that Day, to those that deny-
11 ٱلَّذِينَ يُكَذِّبُونَ بِيَوْمِ ٱلدِّينِalladhīnaالذينٱلَّذِينَThose whoyukadhibūnaيكذبونيُكَذِّبُونَdenybiyawmiبيومبِيَوْمِ(the) Dayl-dīniالدينٱلدِّينِ(of) the Judgment.Those who deny the Day of Judgmentthose who deny the Judgment Day!Who deny the Day of Recompense.Those that deny the Day of Judgment.
12 وَمَا يُكَذِّبُ بِهِۦٓ إِلَّا كُلُّ مُعْتَدٍ أَثِيمٍwamāوماوَمَاAnd notyukadhibuيكذبيُكَذِّبُcan denybihiبهبِهِۦٓ[of] itillāإلاإِلَّاexceptkulluكلكُلُّeverymuʿ'tadinمعتدمُعْتَدٍtransgressorathīminأثيمأَثِيمٍsinful.Which none denieth save each criminal transgressor,None denies it except every sinful transgressor.And none deny it except every sinful transgressor.And none can deny it but the Transgressor beyond bounds the Sinner!
13 إِذَا تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِ ءَايَٰتُنَا قَالَ أَسَٰطِيرُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَidhāإذاإِذَاWhentut'lāتتلىتُتْلَىٰare recitedʿalayhiعليهعَلَيْهِto himāyātunāآياتناءَايَٰتُنَاOur Verses,qālaقالقَالَhe says,asāṭīruأساطيرأَسَٰطِيرُ"Storiesl-awalīnaالأولينٱلْأَوَّلِينَ(of) the former (people)."Who, when thou readest unto him Our revelations, saith: (Mere) fables of the men of old.When Our verses are recited to him, he says, “Ancient fables[2]!”When Our verses are recited to him, he says, "Legends of the former peoples."When Our Signs are rehearsed to him, he says, "Tales of the ancients!"
14 كَلَّاۖ بَلْۜ رَانَ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِم مَّا كَانُواْ يَكْسِبُونَkallāكلاكَلَّاNay!balبلبَلْBut,rānaرانرَانَ(the) stain has coveredʿalāعلىعَلَىٰ[over]qulūbihimقلوبهمقُلُوبِهِمtheir heartsmāمامَّا(for) whatkānūكانواكَانُواْthey used toyaksibūnaيكسبونيَكْسِبُونَearn.Nay, but that which they have earned is rust upon their hearts.No indeed! Their hearts have been stained by what they used to commit[3]!No! Rather, the stain has covered their hearts of that which they were earning.[1880]By no means! but on their hearts is the stain of the (ill) which they do!
15 كَلَّآ إِنَّهُمْ عَن رَّبِّهِمْ يَوْمَئِذٖ لَّمَحْجُوبُونَkallāكلاكَلَّآNay!innahumإنهمإِنَّهُمْIndeed, theyʿanعنعَنfromrabbihimربهمرَّبِّهِمْtheir Lordyawma-idhinيومئذيَوْمَئِذٍthat Daylamaḥjūbūnaلمحجوبونلَّمَحْجُوبُونَsurely will be partitioned.No indeed! On that Day they will be barred from seeing their Lord[4].Nay, but surely on that day they will be covered from (the mercy of) their Lord.No! Indeed, from their Lord, that Day, they will be partitioned.[1881]Verily, from (the Light of) their Lord, that Day, will they be veiled.
16 ثُمَّ إِنَّهُمْ لَصَالُواْ ٱلْجَحِيمِthummaثمثُمَّTheninnahumإنهمإِنَّهُمْindeed, theylaṣālūلصالولَصَالُواْ(surely) will burnl-jaḥīmiالجحيمٱلْجَحِيمِ(in) the Hellfire.They will then surely enter the Blazing Fire,Then lo! they verily will burn in hell,Then indeed, they will [enter and] burn in Hellfire.Further, they will enter the Fire of Hell.
17 ثُمَّ يُقَالُ هَٰذَا ٱلَّذِي كُنتُم بِهِۦ تُكَذِّبُونَthummaثمثُمَّThenyuqāluيقاليُقَالُit will be said,hādhāهذاهَٰذَا"Thisalladhīالذيٱلَّذِى(is) whatkuntumكنتمكُنتُمyou used tobihiبهبِهِۦ[of it]tukadhibūnaتكذبونتُكَذِّبُونَdeny."then they will be told, “This is what you used to deny.”And it will be said (unto them): This is that which ye used to deny.Then it will be said [to them], "This is what you used to deny."Further, it will be said to them: "This is the (reality) which ye rejected as false!
18 كَلَّآ إِنَّ كِتَٰبَ ٱلْأَبْرَارِ لَفِي عِلِّيِّينَkallāكلاكَلَّآNay!innaإنإِنَّIndeed,kitābaكتابكِتَٰبَ(the) recordl-abrāriالأبرارٱلْأَبْرَارِ(of) the righteouslafīلفيلَفِى(will be) surely inʿilliyyīnaعليينعِلِّيِّينَIlliyin.Nay, but the record of the righteous is in 'Illiyin -No indeed! The record of the righteous is certainly in ‘illiyyīn –No! Indeed, the record of the righteous is in ʿilliyyūn.Nay, verily the record of the Righteous is (preserved) in 'Illiyin.
19 وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا عِلِّيُّونَwamāوماوَمَآAnd whatadrākaأدراكأَدْرَىٰكَcan make you knowmāمامَاwhatʿilliyyūnaعليونعِلِّيُّونَ(is) Illiyun?Ah, what will convey unto thee what 'Illiyin is! -and how do you know what ‘illiyyūn is? –And what can make you know what is ʿilliyyūn?And what will explain to thee what 'Illiyun is?
20 كِتَٰبَ مَّرْقُومَkitābunكتابكِتَٰبٌA bookmarqūmunمرقوممَّرْقُومٌwritten,A written record,It is a record inscribed,It is [their destination[1882] recorded in] a register inscribed(There is) a Register (fully) inscribed,
21 يَشْهَدُهُ ٱلْمُقَرَّبُونَyashhaduhuيشهدهيَشْهَدُهُWitness itl-muqarabūnaالمقربونٱلْمُقَرَّبُونَthose brought near.Attested by those who are brought near (unto their Lord).witnessed by those who are close to Allah.Which is witnessed by those brought near [to Allāh].To which bear witness those Nearest (to Allah).
22 إِنَّ ٱلْأَبْرَارَ لَفِي نَعِيمٍinnaإنإِنَّIndeed,l-abrāraالأبرارٱلْأَبْرَارَthe righteouslafīلفيلَفِى(will be) surely innaʿīminنعيمنَعِيمٍbliss,Lo! the righteous verily are in delight,Indeed, the righteous will be in Bliss,Indeed, the righteous will be in pleasureTruly the Righteous will be in Bliss:
23 عَلَى ٱلْأَرَآئِكِ يَنظُرُونَʿalāعلىعَلَىOnl-arāikiالأرائكٱلْأَرَآئِكِthronesyanẓurūnaينظرونيَنظُرُونَobserving.On couches, gazing,seated on the couches, gazing in wonder.On adorned couches, observing.On Thrones (of Dignity) will they command a sight (of all things):
24 تَعْرِفُ فِي وُجُوهِهِمْ نَضْرَةَ ٱلنَّعِيمِtaʿrifuتعرفتَعْرِفُYou will recognizefīفيفِىinwujūhihimوجوههموُجُوهِهِمْtheir facesnaḍrataنضرةنَضْرَةَ(the) radiancel-naʿīmiالنعيمٱلنَّعِيمِ(of) bliss.Thou wilt know in their faces the radiance of delight.You will see on their faces the radiance of bliss.You will recognize in their faces the radiance of pleasure.Thou wilt recognise in their faces the beaming brightness of Bliss.
25 يُسْقَوْنَ مِن رَّحِيقٖ مَّخْتُومٍyus'qawnaيسقونيُسْقَوْنَThey will be given to drinkminمنمِنofraḥīqinرحيقرَّحِيقٍa pure winemakhtūminمختوممَّخْتُومٍsealed,They are given to drink of a pure wine, sealed,They will be served to drink pure wine from a sealed container,They will be given to drink [pure] wine[1883] [which was] sealed.Their thirst will be slaked with Pure Wine sealed:
26 خِتَٰمُهُ مِسْكَۚ وَفِي ذَٰلِكَ فَلْيَتَنَافَسِ ٱلْمُتَنَٰفِسُونَkhitāmuhuختامهخِتَٰمُهُIts sealmis'kunمسكمِسْكٌ(will be of) musk.wafīوفيوَفِىAnd fordhālikaذلكذَٰلِكَthatfalyatanāfasiفليتنافسفَلْيَتَنَافَسِlet aspirel-mutanāfisūnaالمتنافسونٱلْمُتَنَٰفِسُونَthe aspirers.Whose seal is musk - for this let (all) those strive who strive for bliss -whose last sip is musk[5] – let those who strive, strive for that –The last of it[1884] is musk. So for this let the competitors compete.The seal thereof will be Musk: And for this let those aspire, who have aspirations:
27 وَمِزَاجُهُ مِن تَسْنِيمٍwamizājuhuومزاجهوَمِزَاجُهُAnd its mixtureminمنمِن(is) oftasnīminتسنيمتَسْنِيمٍTasneem,and it will be mixed with water from the spring of Tasnīm[6],And mixed with water of Tasnim,And its mixture is of Tasneem,[1885]With it will be (given) a mixture of Tasnim:
28 عَيْنٗا يَشْرَبُ بِهَا ٱلْمُقَرَّبُونَʿaynanعيناعَيْنًاA spring,yashrabuيشربيَشْرَبُwill drinkbihāبهابِهَاfrom it,l-muqarabūnaالمقربونٱلْمُقَرَّبُونَthose brought near.a spring from which those who are close to Allah will drink.A spring whence those brought near (to Allah) drink.A spring from which those near [to Allāh] drink.A spring, from (the waters) whereof drink those Nearest to Allah.
29 إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ أَجْرَمُواْ كَانُواْ مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ يَضْحَكُونَinnaإنإِنَّIndeed,alladhīnaالذينٱلَّذِينَthose whoajramūأجرمواأَجْرَمُواْcommitted crimeskānūكانواكَانُواْused tominaمنمِنَatalladhīnaالذينٱلَّذِينَthose whoāmanūآمنواءَامَنُواْbelievedyaḍḥakūnaيضحكونيَضْحَكُونَlaugh.Indeed, the wicked used to laugh at the believers;Lo! the guilty used to laugh at those who believed,Indeed, those who committed crimes used to laugh at those who believed.Those in sin used to laugh at those who believed,
30 وَإِذَا مَرُّواْ بِهِمْ يَتَغَامَزُونَwa-idhāوإذاوَإِذَاAnd whenmarrūمروامَرُّواْthey passedbihimبهمبِهِمْby them,yataghāmazūnaيتغامزونيَتَغَامَزُونَthey winked at one another.when they passed by them, they would wink at one another,And wink one to another when they passed them;And when they passed by them, they would exchange derisive glances.And whenever they passed by them, used to wink at each other (in mockery);
31 وَإِذَا ٱنقَلَبُوٓاْ إِلَىٰٓ أَهْلِهِمُ ٱنقَلَبُواْ فَكِهِينَwa-idhāوإذاوَإِذَاAnd wheninqalabūانقلبواٱنقَلَبُوٓاْthey returnedilāإلىإِلَىٰٓtoahlihimuأهلهمأَهْلِهِمُtheir people,inqalabūانقلبواٱنقَلَبُواْthey would returnfakihīnaفكهينفَكِهِينَjesting.And when they returned to their own folk, they returned jesting;and when they went back to their people, they would return exulting.And when they returned to their people, they would return jesting.And when they returned to their own people, they would return jesting;
32 وَإِذَا رَأَوْهُمْ قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ لَضَآلُّونَwa-idhāوإذاوَإِذَاAnd whenra-awhumرأوهمرَأَوْهُمْthey saw them,qālūقالواقَالُوٓاْthey said,innaإنإِنَّ"Indeed,hāulāiهؤلاءهَٰٓؤُلَآءِtheselaḍāllūnaلضالونلَضَآلُّونَsurely have gone astray."And when they saw them they said: Lo! these have gone astray.When they saw the believers, they would say, “These people are truly misguided,”And when they saw them, they would say, "Indeed, those are truly lost."And whenever they saw them, they would say, "Behold! These are the people truly astray!"
33 وَمَآ أُرْسِلُواْ عَلَيْهِمْ حَٰفِظِينَwamāوماوَمَآBut notur'silūأرسلواأُرْسِلُواْthey had been sentʿalayhimعليهمعَلَيْهِمْover themḥāfiẓīnaحافظينحَٰفِظِينَ(as) guardians.Yet they were not sent as guardians over them.although they were not sent as their keepers.But they had not been sent as guardians over them.But they had not been sent as keepers over them!
34 فَٱلْيَوْمَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ مِنَ ٱلْكُفَّارِ يَضْحَكُونَfal-yawmaفاليومفَٱلْيَوْمَSo todayalladhīnaالذينٱلَّذِينَthose whoāmanūآمنواءَامَنُواْbelieved -minaمنمِنَatl-kufāriالكفارٱلْكُفَّارِthe disbelieversyaḍḥakūnaيضحكونيَضْحَكُونَthey will laugh,This day it is those who believe who have the laugh of disbelievers,So Today[7] the believers will laugh at the disbelievers,So Today[1886] those who believed are laughing at the disbelievers,But on this Day the Believers will laugh at the Unbelievers:
35 عَلَى ٱلْأَرَآئِكِ يَنظُرُونَʿalāعلىعَلَىOnl-arāikiالأرائكٱلْأَرَآئِكِthe thronesyanẓurūnaينظرونيَنظُرُونَobserving.On high couches, gazing.while sitting on the couches, gazing around.On adorned couches, observing.On Thrones (of Dignity) they will command (a sight) (of all things).
36 هَلْ ثُوِّبَ ٱلْكُفَّارُ مَا كَانُواْ يَفْعَلُونَhalهلهَلْHave (not)thuwwibaثوبثُوِّبَbeen rewardedl-kufāruالكفارٱلْكُفَّارُthe disbelieversmāمامَا(for) whatkānūكانواكَانُواْthey used toyafʿalūnaيفعلونيَفْعَلُونَdo?Are not the disbelievers paid for what they used to do?Have the disbelievers been rewarded except for what they used to do?Have the disbelievers [not] been rewarded [this Day] for what they used to do?Will not the Unbelievers have been paid back for what they did?

ﲮ ﲨ ﲩ ﲪ ﲫ ﲬ ﲭ
ﲴ ﲯ ﲰ ﲱ ﲲ ﲳ
ﲺ ﲵ ﲶ ﲷ ﲸ ﲹ
ﱃ ﱁ ﱂ
ﱉ ﱄ ﱅ ﱆ ﱇ ﱈ
ﱐ ﱊ ﱋ ﱌ ﱍ ﱎ ﱏ
ﱕ ﱑ ﱒ ﱓ ﱔ
ﱘ ﱖ ﱗ
ﱜ ﱙ ﱚ ﱛ
ﱡ ﱝ ﱞ ﱟ ﱠ
ﱩ ﱢ ﱣ ﱤ ﱥ ﱦ ﱧ ﱨ
ﱱ ﱪ ﱫ ﱬ ﱭ ﱮ ﱯ ﱰ
ﱼ ﱲﱳ ﱴﱵ ﱶ ﱷ ﱸ ﱹ ﱺ ﱻ
ﲃ ﱽ ﱾ ﱿ ﲀ ﲁ ﲂ
ﲈ ﲄ ﲅ ﲆ ﲇ
ﲐ ﲉ ﲊ ﲋ ﲌ ﲍ ﲎ ﲏ
ﲗ ﲑ ﲒ ﲓ ﲔ ﲕ ﲖ
ﲜ ﲘ ﲙ ﲚ ﲛ
ﲟ ﲝ ﲞ
ﲢ ﲠ ﲡ
ﲧ ﲣ ﲤ ﲥ ﲦ
ﲫ ﲨ ﲩ ﲪ
ﲱ ﲬ ﲭ ﲮ ﲯ ﲰ
ﲶ ﲲ ﲳ ﲴ ﲵ
ﲾ ﲷ ﲸﲹ ﲺ ﲻ ﲼ ﲽ
ﳂ ﲿ ﳀ ﳁ
ﳇ ﳃ ﳄ ﳅ ﳆ
ﳐ ﳈ ﳉ ﳊ ﳋ ﳌ ﳍ ﳎ ﳏ
ﳕ ﳑ ﳒ ﳓ ﳔ
ﳜ ﳖ ﳗ ﳘ ﳙ ﳚ ﳛ
ﳣ ﳝ ﳞ ﳟ ﳠ ﳡ ﳢ
ﳨ ﳤ ﳥ ﳦ ﳧ
ﱇ ﱁ ﱂ ﱃ ﱄ ﱅ ﱆ
ﱋ ﱈ ﱉ ﱊ
ﱒ ﱌ ﱍ ﱎ ﱏ ﱐ ﱑ
ﲥ ﲦ ﲧ ﲨ ﲩ ﲪ ﲫ ﲬ ﲭ ﲮ
ﲯ ﲰ ﲱ ﲲ ﲳ ﲴ ﲵ ﲶ ﲷ ﲸ ﲹ ﲺ
ﱁ ﱂ ﱃ ﱄ ﱅ ﱆ ﱇ ﱈ ﱉ ﱊ ﱋ ﱌ
ﱍ ﱎ ﱏ ﱐ ﱑ ﱒ ﱓ ﱔ ﱕ ﱖ ﱗ ﱘ
ﱙ ﱚ ﱛ ﱜ ﱝ ﱞ ﱟ ﱠ ﱡ ﱢ ﱣ
ﱤ ﱥ ﱦ ﱧ ﱨ ﱩ ﱪ ﱫ ﱬ ﱭ ﱮ ﱯ ﱰ
ﱱ ﱲﱳ ﱴﱵ ﱶ ﱷ ﱸ ﱹ ﱺ ﱻ ﱼ ﱽ ﱾ ﱿ ﲀ
ﲁ ﲂ ﲃ ﲄ ﲅ ﲆ ﲇ ﲈ ﲉ ﲊ ﲋ
ﲌ ﲍ ﲎ ﲏ ﲐ ﲑ ﲒ ﲓ ﲔ ﲕ ﲖ ﲗ
ﲘ ﲙ ﲚ ﲛ ﲜ ﲝ ﲞ ﲟ ﲠ ﲡ ﲢ
ﲣ ﲤ ﲥ ﲦ ﲧ ﲨ ﲩ ﲪ ﲫ ﲬ ﲭ
ﲮ ﲯ ﲰ ﲱ ﲲ ﲳ ﲴ ﲵ ﲶ ﲷ
ﲸﲹ ﲺ ﲻ ﲼ ﲽ ﲾ ﲿ ﳀ
ﳁ ﳂ ﳃ ﳄ ﳅ ﳆ ﳇ ﳈ ﳉ ﳊ ﳋ
ﳌ ﳍ ﳎ ﳏ ﳐ ﳑ ﳒ ﳓ ﳔ ﳕ
ﳖ ﳗ ﳘ ﳙ ﳚ ﳛ ﳜ ﳝ ﳞ ﳟ
ﳠ ﳡ ﳢ ﳣ ﳤ ﳥ ﳦ ﳧ ﳨ
ﱁ ﱂ ﱃ ﱄ ﱅ ﱆ ﱇ ﱈ
ﱉ ﱊ ﱋ ﱌ ﱍ ﱎ ﱏ ﱐ ﱑ ﱒ
وَيْلٌ لِّلْمُطَفِّفِينَ ١ الَّذِينَ إِذَا اكْتَالُوا عَلَى النَّاسِ يَسْتَوْفُونَ ٢
وَإِذَا كَالُوهُمْ أَو وَّزَنُوهُمْ يُخْسِرُونَ ٣ أَلَا يَظُنُّ أُولَٰئِكَ أَنَّهُم مَّبْعُوثُونَ ٤
لِيَوْمٍ عَظِيمٍ ٥ يَوْمَ يَقُومُ النَّاسُ لِرَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ ٦ كَلَّا إِنَّ كِتَابَ
الْفُجَّارِ لَفِي سِجِّينٍ ٧ وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا سِجِّينٌ ٨ كِتَابٌ مَّرْقُومٌ ٩
وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ١٠ الَّذِينَ يُكَذِّبُونَ بِيَوْمِ الدِّينِ ١١ وَمَا يُكَذِّبُ
بِهِ إِلَّا كُلُّ مُعْتَدٍ أَثِيمٍ ١٢ إِذَا تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِ آيَاتُنَا قَالَ أَسَاطِيرُ الْأَوَّلِينَ
١٣ كَلَّا بَلْ رَانَ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِم مَّا كَانُوا يَكْسِبُونَ ١٤ كَلَّا إِنَّهُمْ عَن رَّبِّهِمْ
يَوْمَئِذٍ لَّمَحْجُوبُونَ ١٥ ثُمَّ إِنَّهُمْ لَصَالُو الْجَحِيمِ ١٦ ثُمَّ يُقَالُ هَٰذَا
الَّذِي كُنتُم بِهِ تُكَذِّبُونَ ١٧ كَلَّا إِنَّ كِتَابَ الْأَبْرَارِ لَفِي عِلِّيِّينَ ١٨
وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا عِلِّيُّونَ ١٩ كِتَابٌ مَّرْقُومٌ ٢٠ يَشْهَدُهُ الْمُقَرَّبُونَ ٢١
إِنَّ الْأَبْرَارَ لَفِي نَعِيمٍ ٢٢ عَلَى الْأَرَائِكِ يَنظُرُونَ ٢٣ تَعْرِفُ فِي
وُجُوهِهِمْ نَضْرَةَ النَّعِيمِ ٢٤ يُسْقَوْنَ مِن رَّحِيقٍ مَّخْتُومٍ ٢٥ خِتَامُهُ
مِسْكٌ وَفِي ذَٰلِكَ فَلْيَتَنَافَسِ الْمُتَنَافِسُونَ ٢٦ وَمِزَاجُهُ مِن
تَسْنِيمٍ ٢٧ عَيْنًا يَشْرَبُ بِهَا الْمُقَرَّبُونَ ٢٨ إِنَّ الَّذِينَ أَجْرَمُوا كَانُوا
مِنَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا يَضْحَكُونَ ٢٩ وَإِذَا مَرُّوا بِهِمْ يَتَغَامَزُونَ ٣٠
وَإِذَا انقَلَبُوا إِلَىٰ أَهْلِهِمُ انقَلَبُوا فَكِهِينَ ٣١ وَإِذَا رَأَوْهُمْ قَالُوا
إِنَّ هَٰؤُلَاءِ لَضَالُّونَ ٣٢ وَمَا أُرْسِلُوا عَلَيْهِمْ حَافِظِينَ ٣٣
فَالْيَوْمَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مِنَ الْكُفَّارِ يَضْحَكُونَ ٣٤ عَلَى
الْأَرَائِكِ يَنظُرُونَ ٣٥ هَلْ ثُوِّبَ الْكُفَّارُ مَا كَانُوا يَفْعَلُونَ ٣٦
وَيْلَ لِّلْمُطَفِّفِينَ ۝١ ٱلَّذِينَ إِذَا ٱكْتَالُواْ عَلَى ٱلنَّاسِ يَسْتَوْفُونَ ۝٢
وَإِذَا كَالُوهُمْ أَو وَّزَنُوهُمْ يُخْسِرُونَ ۝٣ أَلَا يَظُنُّ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ أَنَّهُم مَّبْعُوثُونَ ۝٤
لِيَوْمٍ عَظِيمٖ ۝٥ يَوْمَ يَقُومُ ٱلنَّاسُ لِرَبِّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ ۝٦ كَلَّآ إِنَّ كِتَٰبَ
ٱلْفُجَّارِ لَفِي سِجِّينٖ ۝٧ وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا سِجِّينَ ۝٨ كِتَٰبَ مَّرْقُومَ ۝٩
وَيْلَ يَوْمَئِذٖ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ۝١٠ ٱلَّذِينَ يُكَذِّبُونَ بِيَوْمِ ٱلدِّينِ ۝١١ وَمَا يُكَذِّبُ
بِهِۦٓ إِلَّا كُلُّ مُعْتَدٍ أَثِيمٍ ۝١٢ إِذَا تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِ ءَايَٰتُنَا قَالَ أَسَٰطِيرُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
