The Night of Decree
1 إِنَّآ أَنزَلۡنَٰهُ فِي لَيۡلَةِ ٱلۡقَدۡرِinnāإناإِنَّآIndeed, Weanzalnāhuأنزلناهأَنزَلْنَٰهُrevealed itfīفيفِىinlaylatiليلةلَيْلَةِ(the) Nightl-qadriالقدرٱلْقَدْرِ(of) Power.Lo! We revealed it on the Night of Predestination.Indeed, We sent this [Qur’an] down on the Night of Decree[1].Indeed, We sent it [i.e., the Qur’ān] down during the Night of Decree.We have indeed revealed this (Message) in the Night of Power:
2 وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا لَيۡلَةُ ٱلۡقَدۡرِwamāوماوَمَآAnd whatadrākaأدراكأَدْرَىٰكَcan make you knowmāمامَاwhatlaylatuليلةلَيْلَةُ(the) Nightl-qadriالقدرٱلْقَدْرِ(of) Power (is)?Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Night of Power is!How do you know what the Night of Decree is?And what can make you know what is the Night of Decree?And what will explain to thee what the night of power is?
3 لَيۡلَةُ ٱلۡقَدۡرِ خَيۡرٞ مِّنۡ أَلۡفِ شَهۡرٖlaylatuليلةلَيْلَةُ(The) Nightl-qadriالقدرٱلْقَدْرِ(of) Powerkhayrunخيرخَيْرٌ(is) betterminمنمِّنْthanalfiألفأَلْفِa thousandshahrinشهرشَهْرٍmonth(s).The Night of Power is better than a thousand months.The Night of Decree is better than a thousand months.The Night of Decree is better than a thousand months.The Night of Power is better than a thousand months.
4 تَنَزَّلُ ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ وَٱلرُّوحُ فِيهَا بِإِذۡنِ رَبِّهِم مِّن كُلِّ أَمۡرٖtanazzaluتنزلتَنَزَّلُDescendl-malāikatuالملائكةٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُthe Angelswal-rūḥuوالروحوَٱلرُّوحُand the Spiritfīhāفيهافِيهَاtherein,bi-idh'niبإذنبِإِذْنِby (the) permissionrabbihimربهمرَبِّهِم(of) their Lord,minمنمِّنforkulliكلكُلِّeveryamrinأمرأَمْرٍaffair,The angels and the Spirit descend therein, by the permission of their Lord, with all decrees.On that night the angels and the Spirit [i.e., Gabriel] descend by their Lord’s permission with all decrees[2].The angels and the Spirit [i.e., Gabriel] descend therein by permission of their Lord for every matter.[1955]Therein come down the angels and the Spirit by Allah's permission, on every errand:
5 سَلَٰمٌ هِيَ حَتَّىٰ مَطۡلَعِ ٱلۡفَجۡرِsalāmunسلامسَلَٰمٌPeacehiyaهيهِىَit (is)ḥattāحتىحَتَّىٰuntilmaṭlaʿiمطلعمَطْلَعِ(the) emergencel-fajriالفجرٱلْفَجْرِ(of) the dawn.(The night is) Peace until the rising of the dawn.It is all peace[3] until the break of dawn.Peace it is[1956] until the emergence of dawn.Peace!... This until the rise of morn!
1 بِّسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ إِنَّا أَنزَلْنَاهُ فِي لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ
2 وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ
3 لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ خَيْرٌ مِّنْ أَلْفِ شَهْرٍ
4 تَنَزَّلُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ وَالرُّوحُ فِيهَا بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِم مِّن كُلِّ أَمْرٍ
5 سَلَامٌ هِيَ حَتَّىٰ مَطْلَعِ الْفَجْرِ

ﲁ ﱸ ﱹ ﱺ ﱻ ﱼ ﱽ ﱾ ﱿ ﲀ
ﲇ ﲂ ﲃ ﲄ ﲅ ﲆ
ﱥ ﱦ ﱧ ﱨ ﱩ ﱪ ﱫ ﱬ ﱭ ﱮ ﱯ ﱰ
ﱱ ﱲ ﱳ ﱴ ﱵ ﱶ ﱷ ﱸ ﱹ ﱺ ﱻ
ﱼ ﱽ ﱾ ﱿ ﲀ ﲁ ﲂ ﲃ ﲄ ﲅ ﲆ ﲇ
بِّسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ إِنَّا أَنزَلْنَاهُ فِي لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ ١ وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ ٢
لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ خَيْرٌ مِّنْ أَلْفِ شَهْرٍ ٣ تَنَزَّلُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ وَالرُّوحُ فِيهَا
بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِم مِّن كُلِّ أَمْرٍ ٤ سَلَامٌ هِيَ حَتَّىٰ مَطْلَعِ الْفَجْرِ ٥
إِنَّآ أَنزَلْنَٰهُ فِي لَيْلَةِ ٱلْقَدْرِ ۝١ وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا لَيْلَةُ ٱلْقَدْرِ ۝٢
لَيْلَةُ ٱلْقَدْرِ خَيْرَ مِّنْ أَلْفِ شَهْرٖ ۝٣ تَنَزَّلُ ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ وَٱلرُّوحُ فِيهَا
بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِم مِّن كُلِّ أَمْرٖ ۝٤ سَلَٰمٌ هِيَ حَتَّىٰ مَطْلَعِ ٱلْفَجْرِ ۝٥
ﱥ ﱦ ﱧ ﱨ ﱩ ﱪ ﱫ ﱬ ﱭ ﱮ ﱯ ﱰ
ﱱ ﱲ ﱳ ﱴ ﱵ ﱶ ﱷ ﱸ ﱹ ﱺ ﱻ
ﱼ ﱽ ﱾ ﱿ ﲀ ﲁ ﲂ ﲃ ﲄ ﲅ ﲆ ﲇ
