The Moon
| 1 | ٱقۡتَرَبَتِ ٱلسَّاعَةُ وَٱنشَقَّ ٱلۡقَمَرُiq'tarabatiاقتربتٱقْتَرَبَتِHas come nearl-sāʿatuالساعةٱلسَّاعَةُthe Hourwa-inshaqqaوانشقوَٱنشَقَّand has splitl-qamaruالقمرٱلْقَمَرُthe moon.The hour drew nigh and the moon was rent in twain.The Hour has drawn near and the moon has split asunder[1].The Hour has come near, and the moon has split [in two].[1577]The Hour (of Judgment) is nigh, and the moon is cleft asunder. |
| 2 | وَإِن يَرَوۡاْ ءَايَةٗ يُعۡرِضُواْ وَيَقُولُواْ سِحۡرٞ مُّسۡتَمِرّٞwa-inوإنوَإِنAnd ifyarawيروايَرَوْاْthey seeāyatanآيةءَايَةًa Sign,yuʿ'riḍūيعرضوايُعْرِضُواْthey turn awaywayaqūlūويقولواوَيَقُولُواْand say,siḥ'runسحرسِحْرٌ"Magicmus'tamirrunمستمرمُّسْتَمِرٌّcontinuing."And if they behold a portent they turn away and say: Prolonged illusion.Whenever they see a sign[2], they turn away and say, “Same old magic!”And if they see a sign [i.e., miracle], they turn away and say, "Passing magic."[1578]But if they see a Sign, they turn away, and say, "This is (but) transient magic." |
| 3 | وَكَذَّبُواْ وَٱتَّبَعُوٓاْ أَهۡوَآءَهُمۡۚ وَكُلُّ أَمۡرٖ مُّسۡتَقِرّٞwakadhabūوكذبواوَكَذَّبُواْAnd they deniedwa-ittabaʿūواتبعواوَٱتَّبَعُوٓاْand followedahwāahumأهواءهمأَهْوَآءَهُمْtheir desires,wakulluوكلوَكُلُّbut (for) everyamrinأمرأَمْرٍmattermus'taqirrunمستقرمُّسْتَقِرٌّ(will be a) settlement.They denied (the Truth) and followed their own lusts. Yet everything will come to a decisionThey deny [the truth] and follow their desires, but every matter will reach its inevitable end.And they denied and followed their inclinations. But for every matter is a [time of] settlement.They reject (the warning) and follow their (own) lusts but every matter has its appointed time. |
| 4 | وَلَقَدۡ جَآءَهُم مِّنَ ٱلۡأَنۢبَآءِ مَا فِيهِ مُزۡدَجَرٌwalaqadولقدوَلَقَدْAnd certainlyjāahumجاءهمجَآءَهُمhas come to themminaمنمِّنَofl-anbāiالأنباءٱلْأَنۢبَآءِthe informationmāمامَاwhereinfīhiفيهفِيهِwhereinmuz'dajarunمزدجرمُزْدَجَرٌ(is) deterrence,And surely there hath come unto them news whereof the purport should deter,There have already come to them stories [of destroyed nations] that are sufficient to deter them,And there has already come to them of information that in which there is deterrence.There have already come to them Recitals wherein there is (enough) to check (them), |
| 5 | حِكۡمَةُۢ بَٰلِغَةٞۖ فَمَا تُغۡنِ ٱلنُّذُرُḥik'matunحكمةحِكْمَةٌۢWisdombālighatunبالغةبَٰلِغَةٌperfect,famāفمافَمَاbut nottugh'niتغنتُغْنِwill availl-nudhuruالنذرٱلنُّذُرُthe warnings.Effective wisdom; but warnings avail not.which contain extensive wisdom, but the warnings are of no avail.Extensive wisdom - but warning does not avail [them].Mature wisdom;- but (the preaching of) Warners profits them not. |
| 6 | فَتَوَلَّ عَنۡهُمۡۘ يَوۡمَ يَدۡعُ ٱلدَّاعِ إِلَىٰ شَيۡءٖ نُّكُرٍfatawallaفتولفَتَوَلَّSo turn awayʿanhumعنهمعَنْهُمْfrom them.yawmaيوميَوْمَ(The) Day,yadʿuيدعيَدْعُwill calll-dāʿiالداعٱلدَّاعِthe callerilāإلىإِلَىٰtoshayinشيءشَىْءٍa thingnukurinنكرنُّكُرٍterrible,So withdraw from them (O Muhammad) on the day when the Summoner summoneth unto a painful thing.So turn away from them [O Prophet]. On the Day when the caller[3] will summon them to a horrific event[4],So leave them, [O Muḥammad]. The Day the Caller[1579] calls to something forbidding,Therefore, (O Prophet,) turn away from them. The Day that the Caller will call (them) to a terrible affair, |
| 7 | خُشَّعًا أَبۡصَٰرُهُمۡ يَخۡرُجُونَ مِنَ ٱلۡأَجۡدَاثِ كَأَنَّهُمۡ جَرَادٞ مُّنتَشِرٞkhushaʿanخشعاخُشَّعًا(Will be) humbledabṣāruhumأبصارهمأَبْصَٰرُهُمْtheir eyesyakhrujūnaيخرجونيَخْرُجُونَthey will come forthminaمنمِنَfroml-ajdāthiالأجداثٱلْأَجْدَاثِthe graveska-annahumكأنهمكَأَنَّهُمْas if they (were)jarādunجرادجَرَادٌlocustsmuntashirunمنتشرمُّنتَشِرٌspreading,With downcast eyes, they come forth from the graves as they were locusts spread abroad,with eyes downcast, they will come out of the graves like scattered locusts,Their eyes humbled, they will emerge from the graves as if they were locusts spreading,They will come forth,- their eyes humbled - from (their) graves, (torpid) like locusts scattered abroad, |
| 8 | مُّهۡطِعِينَ إِلَى ٱلدَّاعِۖ يَقُولُ ٱلۡكَٰفِرُونَ هَٰذَا يَوۡمٌ عَسِرٞmuh'ṭiʿīnaمهطعينمُّهْطِعِينَRacing aheadilāإلىإِلَىtowardsl-dāʿiالداعٱلدَّاعِthe caller.yaqūluيقوليَقُولُWill sayl-kāfirūnaالكافرونٱلْكَٰفِرُونَthe disbelievers,hādhāهذاهَٰذَا"Thisyawmunيوميَوْمٌ(is) a Dayʿasirunعسرعَسِرٌdifficult."Hastening toward the summoner; the disbelievers say: This is a hard day.rushing headlong towards the caller. The disbelievers will say, “This is a hard Day!”Racing ahead toward the Caller. The disbelievers will say, "This is a difficult Day."Hastening, with eyes transfixed, towards the Caller!- "Hard is this Day!", the Unbelievers will say. |
| 9 | ۞ كَذَّبَتۡ قَبۡلَهُمۡ قَوۡمُ نُوحٖ فَكَذَّبُواْ عَبۡدَنَا وَقَالُواْ مَجۡنُونٞ وَٱزۡدُجِرَkadhabatكذبتكَذَّبَتْDeniedqablahumقبلهمقَبْلَهُمْbefore themqawmuقومقَوْمُ(the) peoplenūḥinنوحنُوحٍ(of) Nuh,fakadhabūفكذبوافَكَذَّبُواْand they deniedʿabdanāعبدناعَبْدَنَاOur slavewaqālūوقالواوَقَالُواْand said,majnūnunمجنونمَجْنُونٌ"A madman,"wa-uz'dujiraوازدجروَٱزْدُجِرَand he was repelled.The folk of Noah denied before them, yea, they denied Our slave and said: A madman; and he was repulsed.The people of Noah rejected [the truth] before them; they rejected Our slave and said, “He is a madman,” and he was intimidated.The people of Noah denied before them, and they denied Our servant and said, "A madman," and he was repelled.Before them the People of Noah rejected (their messenger): they rejected Our servant, and said, "Here is one possessed!", and he was driven out. |
| 10 | فَدَعَا رَبَّهُۥٓ أَنِّي مَغۡلُوبٞ فَٱنتَصِرۡfadaʿāفدعافَدَعَاSo he calledrabbahuربهرَبَّهُۥٓhis Lord,annīأنيأَنِّى"I ammaghlūbunمغلوبمَغْلُوبٌone overpowered,fa-intaṣirفانتصرفَٱنتَصِرْso help."So he cried unto his Lord, saying: I am vanquished, so give help.So he called upon his Lord, “I am overpowered, so help me!”So he invoked his Lord, "Indeed, I am overpowered, so help."Then he called on his Lord: "I am one overcome: do Thou then help (me)!" |
| 11 | فَفَتَحۡنَآ أَبۡوَٰبَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ بِمَآءٖ مُّنۡهَمِرٖfafataḥnāففتحنافَفَتَحْنَآSo We openedabwābaأبوابأَبْوَٰبَ(the) gatesl-samāiالسماءٱلسَّمَآءِ(of) heavenbimāinبماءبِمَآءٍwith watermun'hamirinمنهمرمُّنْهَمِرٍpouring downThen opened We the gates of heaven with pouring waterSo We opened the gates of the sky with water pouring down in torrents,Then We opened the gates of the heaven with rain pouring downSo We opened the gates of heaven, with water pouring forth. |
| 12 | وَفَجَّرۡنَا ٱلۡأَرۡضَ عُيُونٗا فَٱلۡتَقَى ٱلۡمَآءُ عَلَىٰٓ أَمۡرٖ قَدۡ قُدِرَwafajjarnāوفجرناوَفَجَّرْنَاAnd We caused to burstl-arḍaالأرضٱلْأَرْضَthe earthʿuyūnanعيوناعُيُونًا(with) springs,fal-taqāفالتقىفَٱلْتَقَىso metl-māuالماءٱلْمَآءُthe water(s)ʿalāعلىعَلَىٰٓforamrinأمرأَمْرٍa matterqadقدقَدْalreadyqudiraقدرقُدِرَpredestined.And caused the earth to gush forth springs, so that the waters met for a predestined purpose.and We caused the earth to burst forth with springs, then the waters met for a preordained purpose.And caused the earth to burst with springs, and the waters met for a matter already predestined.And We caused the earth to gush forth with springs, so the waters met (and rose) to the extent decreed. |
| 13 | وَحَمَلۡنَٰهُ عَلَىٰ ذَاتِ أَلۡوَٰحٖ وَدُسُرٖwaḥamalnāhuوحملناهوَحَمَلْنَٰهُAnd We carried himʿalāعلىعَلَىٰondhātiذاتذَاتِ(ark) made of planksalwāḥinألواحأَلْوَٰحٍ(ark) made of plankswadusurinودسروَدُسُرٍand nails,And We carried him upon a thing of planks and nails,We carried him on an [Ark made] of planks and nails,And We carried him on a [construction of] planks and nails,But We bore him on an (Ark) made of broad planks and caulked with palm-fibre: |
| 14 | تَجۡرِي بِأَعۡيُنِنَا جَزَآءٗ لِّمَن كَانَ كُفِرَtajrīتجريتَجْرِىSailingbi-aʿyunināبأعيننابِأَعْيُنِنَاbefore Our eyes,jazāanجزاءجَزَآءًa rewardlimanلمنلِّمَنfor (he) whokānaكانكَانَwaskufiraكفركُفِرَdenied.That ran (upon the waters) in Our sight, as a reward for him who was rejected.sailing under Our [Watchful] Eyes; as a reward for the one [they] denied.Sailing under Our observation as reward for he who had been denied.She floats under our eyes (and care): a recompense to one who had been rejected (with scorn)! |
| 15 | وَلَقَد تَّرَكۡنَٰهَآ ءَايَةٗ فَهَلۡ مِن مُّدَّكِرٖwalaqadولقدوَلَقَدAnd certainlytaraknāhāتركناهاتَّرَكْنَٰهَآWe left itāyatanآيةءَايَةً(as) a Sign,fahalفهلفَهَلْso is (there)minمنمِنanymuddakirinمدكرمُّدَّكِرٍwho will receive admonition?And verily We left it as a token; but is there any that remembereth?We have certainly left it[5] as a sign; is there anyone to take heed?And We left it as a sign, so is there any who will remember?And We have left this as a Sign (for all time): then is there any that will receive admonition? |
| 16 | فَكَيۡفَ كَانَ عَذَابِي وَنُذُرِfakayfaفكيففَكَيْفَSo howkānaكانكَانَwasʿadhābīعذابيعَذَابِىMy punishmentwanudhuriونذروَنُذُرِand My warnings?Then see how (dreadful) was My punishment after My warnings!Then how were My punishment and My warnings[6]?And how [severe] were My punishment and warning.[1580]But how (terrible) was My Penalty and My Warning? |
| 17 | وَلَقَدۡ يَسَّرۡنَا ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ لِلذِّكۡرِ فَهَلۡ مِن مُّدَّكِرٖwalaqadولقدوَلَقَدْAnd certainlyyassarnāيسرنايَسَّرْنَاWe have made easyl-qur'ānaالقرآنٱلْقُرْءَانَthe Quranlildhik'riللذكرلِلذِّكْرِfor remembrance,fahalفهلفَهَلْso is (there)minمنمِنanymuddakirinمدكرمُّدَّكِرٍwho will receive admonition?And in truth We have made the Qur'an easy to remember; but is there any that remembereth?We have certainly made the Qur’an easy to understand and remember; is there anyone to take heed?And We have certainly made the Qur’ān easy for remembrance, so is there any who will remember?And We have indeed made the Qur'an easy to understand and remember: then is there any that will receive admonition? |
| 18 | كَذَّبَتۡ عَادٞ فَكَيۡفَ كَانَ عَذَابِي وَنُذُرِkadhabatكذبتكَذَّبَتْDeniedʿādunعادعَادٌAad;fakayfaفكيففَكَيْفَso howkānaكانكَانَwasʿadhābīعذابيعَذَابِىMy punishmentwanudhuriونذروَنُذُرِand My warnings?(The tribe of) A'ad rejected warnings. Then how (dreadful) was My punishment after My warnings.‘Ād disbelieved. Then how were My punishment and My warnings?ʿAad denied; and how [severe] were My punishment and warning.The 'Ad (people) (too) rejected (Truth): then how terrible was My Penalty and My Warning? |
| 19 | إِنَّآ أَرۡسَلۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ رِيحٗا صَرۡصَرٗا فِي يَوۡمِ نَحۡسٖ مُّسۡتَمِرّٖinnāإناإِنَّآIndeed, Wearsalnāأرسلناأَرْسَلْنَا[We] sentʿalayhimعليهمعَلَيْهِمْupon themrīḥanريحارِيحًاa windṣarṣaranصرصراصَرْصَرًاfuriousfīفيفِىonyawmiيوميَوْمِa daynaḥsinنحسنَحْسٍ(of) misfortunemus'tamirrinمستمرمُّسْتَمِرٍّcontinuous,Lo! We let loose on them a raging wind on a day of constant calamity,We sent against them a furious wind[7] on a day of continuous misfortune,Indeed, We sent upon them a screaming wind on a day of continuous misfortune,For We sent against them a furious wind, on a Day of violent Disaster, |
| 20 | تَنزِعُ ٱلنَّاسَ كَأَنَّهُمۡ أَعۡجَازُ نَخۡلٖ مُّنقَعِرٖtanziʿuتنزعتَنزِعُPlucking outl-nāsaالناسٱلنَّاسَmenka-annahumكأنهمكَأَنَّهُمْas if they (were)aʿjāzuأعجازأَعْجَازُtrunksnakhlinنخلنَخْلٍ(of) date-palmsmunqaʿirinمنقعرمُّنقَعِرٍuprooted.Sweeping men away as though they were uprooted trunks of palm-trees.sweeping people away[8], as if they were trunks of uprooted palm trees.Extracting the people[1581] as if they were trunks of palm trees uprooted.Plucking out men as if they were roots of palm-trees torn up (from the ground). |
| 21 | فَكَيۡفَ كَانَ عَذَابِي وَنُذُرِfakayfaفكيففَكَيْفَSo howkānaكانكَانَwasʿadhābīعذابيعَذَابِىMy punishmentwanudhuriونذروَنُذُرِand My warnings?Then see how (dreadful) was My punishment after My warnings!Then how were My punishment and My warnings?And how [severe] were My punishment and warning.Yea, how (terrible) was My Penalty and My Warning! |
| 22 | وَلَقَدۡ يَسَّرۡنَا ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ لِلذِّكۡرِ فَهَلۡ مِن مُّدَّكِرٖwalaqadولقدوَلَقَدْAnd certainly,yassarnāيسرنايَسَّرْنَاWe have made easyl-qur'ānaالقرآنٱلْقُرْءَانَthe Quranlildhik'riللذكرلِلذِّكْرِfor remembrance,fahalفهلفَهَلْso is (there)minمنمِنanymuddakirinمدكرمُّدَّكِرٍwho will receive admonition?And in truth We have made the Qur'an easy to remember; but is there any that remembereth?We have certainly made the Qur’an easy to understand and remember; is there anyone to take heed?And We have certainly made the Qur’ān easy for remembrance, so is there any who will remember?But We have indeed made the Qur'an easy to understand and remember: then is there any that will receive admonition? |
| 23 | كَذَّبَتۡ ثَمُودُ بِٱلنُّذُرِkadhabatكذبتكَذَّبَتْDeniedthamūduثمودثَمُودُThamudbil-nudhuriبالنذربِٱلنُّذُرِthe warnings,(The tribe of) Thamud rejected warningsThamūd rejected the warnings,Thamūd denied the warning.The Thamud (also) rejected (their) Warners. |
| 24 | فَقَالُوٓاْ أَبَشَرٗا مِّنَّا وَٰحِدٗا نَّتَّبِعُهُۥٓ إِنَّآ إِذٗا لَّفِي ضَلَٰلٖ وَسُعُرٍfaqālūفقالوافَقَالُوٓاْAnd said,abasharanأبشراأَبَشَرًا"Is (it) a human beingminnāمنامِّنَّاamong uswāḥidanواحداوَٰحِدًاone,nattabiʿuhuنتبعهنَّتَّبِعُهُۥٓ(that) we should follow him?innāإناإِنَّآIndeed, weidhanإذاإِذًاthenlafīلفيلَّفِى(will be) surely inḍalālinضلالضَلَٰلٍerrorwasuʿurinوسعروَسُعُرٍand madness.For they said; Is it a mortal man, alone among us, that we are to follow? Then indeed we should fall into error and madness.They said, “Shall we follow a single human being[9] from among us? Then we would surely be in error and insanity!And said, "Is it one human being[1582] among us that we should follow? Indeed, we would then be in error and madness.For they said: "What! a man! a Solitary one from among ourselves! shall we follow such a one? Truly should we then be straying in mind, and mad! |
| 25 | أَءُلۡقِيَ ٱلذِّكۡرُ عَلَيۡهِ مِنۢ بَيۡنِنَا بَلۡ هُوَ كَذَّابٌ أَشِرٞa-ul'qiyaأألقيأَءُلْقِىَHas been sentl-dhik'ruالذكرٱلذِّكْرُthe Reminderʿalayhiعليهعَلَيْهِto himminمنمِنۢfrombaynināبيننابَيْنِنَاamong us?balبلبَلْNay,huwaهوهُوَhekadhābunكذابكَذَّابٌ(is) a liarashirunأشرأَشِرٌinsolent."Hath the remembrance been given unto him alone among us? Nay, but he is a rash liar.Has the revelation been sent down upon him out of all of us? Rather, he is an insolent liar.”Has the message been sent down upon him from among us? Rather, he is an insolent liar.""Is it that the Message is sent to him, of all people amongst us? Nay, he is a liar, an insolent one!" |
| 26 | سَيَعۡلَمُونَ غَدٗا مَّنِ ٱلۡكَذَّابُ ٱلۡأَشِرُsayaʿlamūnaسيعلمونسَيَعْلَمُونَThey will knowghadanغداغَدًاtomorrowmaniمنمَّنِwhol-kadhābuالكذابٱلْكَذَّابُ(is) the liar,l-ashiruالأشرٱلْأَشِرُthe insolent one.(Unto their warner it was said): To-morrow they will know who is the rash liar.Tomorrow they will know who the insolent liar is.They will know tomorrow who is the insolent liar.Ah! they will know on the morrow, which is the liar, the insolent one! |
| 27 | إِنَّا مُرۡسِلُواْ ٱلنَّاقَةِ فِتۡنَةٗ لَّهُمۡ فَٱرۡتَقِبۡهُمۡ وَٱصۡطَبِرۡinnāإناإِنَّاIndeed, Wemur'silūمرسلومُرْسِلُواْ(are) sendingl-nāqatiالناقةٱلنَّاقَةِthe she-camelfit'natanفتنةفِتْنَةً(as) a triallahumلهملَّهُمْfor them,fa-ir'taqib'humفارتقبهمفَٱرْتَقِبْهُمْso watch themwa-iṣ'ṭabirواصطبروَٱصْطَبِرْand be patient.Lo! We are sending the she-camel as a test for them; so watch them and have patience;We are sending the she-camel as a test for them, so watch them [O Sālih] and be patient,Indeed, We are sending the she-camel as trial for them, so watch them and be patient.[1583]For We will send the she-camel by way of trial for them. So watch them, (O Salih), and possess thyself in patience! |
| 28 | وَنَبِّئۡهُمۡ أَنَّ ٱلۡمَآءَ قِسۡمَةُۢ بَيۡنَهُمۡۖ كُلُّ شِرۡبٖ مُّحۡتَضَرٞwanabbi'humونبئهموَنَبِّئْهُمْAnd inform themannaأنأَنَّthatl-māaالماءٱلْمَآءَthe waterqis'matunقسمةقِسْمَةٌۢ(is) to be sharedbaynahumبينهمبَيْنَهُمْbetween them,kulluكلكُلُّeachshir'binشربشِرْبٍdrinkmuḥ'taḍarunمحتضرمُّحْتَضَرٌattended.And inform them that the water is to be shared between (her and) them. Every drinking will be witnessed.and tell them that the water is to be shared between them[10]; each should take its drink in turn.And inform them that the water is shared between them,[1584] each [day of] drink attended [by turn].And tell them that the water is to be divided between them: Each one's right to drink being brought forward (by suitable turns). |
| 29 | فَنَادَوۡاْ صَاحِبَهُمۡ فَتَعَاطَىٰ فَعَقَرَfanādawفنادوافَنَادَوْاْBut they calledṣāḥibahumصاحبهمصَاحِبَهُمْtheir companionfataʿāṭāفتعاطىفَتَعَاطَىٰand he tookfaʿaqaraفعقرفَعَقَرَand hamstrung.But they call their comrade and he took and hamstrung (her).But they called their companion[11], and he undertook the task[12] and hamstrung her.But they called their companion,[1585] and he dared[1586] and hamstrung [her].But they called to their companion, and he took a sword in hand, and hamstrung (her). |
| 30 | فَكَيۡفَ كَانَ عَذَابِي وَنُذُرِfakayfaفكيففَكَيْفَSo howkānaكانكَانَwasʿadhābīعذابيعَذَابِىMy punishmentwanudhuriونذروَنُذُرِand My warnings.Then see how (dreadful) was My punishment after My warnings!Then how [terrible] My punishment and My warnings were!And how [severe] were My punishment and warning.Ah! how (terrible) was My Penalty and My Warning! |
| 31 | إِنَّآ أَرۡسَلۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ صَيۡحَةٗ وَٰحِدَةٗ فَكَانُواْ كَهَشِيمِ ٱلۡمُحۡتَظِرِinnāإناإِنَّآIndeed, Wearsalnāأرسلناأَرْسَلْنَا[We] sentʿalayhimعليهمعَلَيْهِمْupon themṣayḥatanصيحةصَيْحَةًthunderous blastwāḥidatanواحدةوَٰحِدَةًsingle,fakānūفكانوافَكَانُواْand they becamekahashīmiكهشيمكَهَشِيمِlike dry twig fragmentsl-muḥ'taẓiriالمحتظرٱلْمُحْتَظِرِ(used by) a fence builder.Lo! We sent upon them one Shout, and they became as the dry twigs (rejected by) the builder of a cattle-fold.We sent against them a single blast, leaving them like trampled hedge-building twigs[13].Indeed, We sent upon them one shriek [i.e., blast from the sky], and they became like the dry twig fragments of an [animal] pen.For We sent against them a single Mighty Blast, and they became like the dry stubble used by one who pens cattle. |
| 32 | وَلَقَدۡ يَسَّرۡنَا ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ لِلذِّكۡرِ فَهَلۡ مِن مُّدَّكِرٖwalaqadولقدوَلَقَدْAnd certainlyyassarnāيسرنايَسَّرْنَاWe have made easyl-qur'ānaالقرآنٱلْقُرْءَانَthe Quranlildhik'riللذكرلِلذِّكْرِfor remembrance,fahalفهلفَهَلْso is (there)minمنمِنanymuddakirinمدكرمُّدَّكِرٍwho will receive admonition?And in truth We have made the Qur'an easy to remember; but is there any that remembereth?We have certainly made the Qur’an easy to understand and remember; is there anyone to take heed?And We have certainly made the Qur’ān easy for remembrance, so is there any who will remember?And We have indeed made the Qur'an easy to understand and remember: then is there any that will receive admonition? |
| 33 | كَذَّبَتۡ قَوۡمُ لُوطِۭ بِٱلنُّذُرِkadhabatكذبتكَذَّبَتْDeniedqawmuقومقَوْمُ(the) peoplelūṭinلوطلُوطٍۭ(of) Lut,bil-nudhuriبالنذربِٱلنُّذُرِthe warnings.The folk of Lot rejected warnings.The people of Lot rejected the warnings.The people of Lot denied the warning.The people of Lut rejected (his) warning. |
| 34 | إِنَّآ أَرۡسَلۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ حَاصِبًا إِلَّآ ءَالَ لُوطٖۖ نَّجَّيۡنَٰهُم بِسَحَرٖinnāإناإِنَّآIndeed, Wearsalnāأرسلناأَرْسَلْنَا[We] sentʿalayhimعليهمعَلَيْهِمْupon themḥāṣibanحاصباحَاصِبًاa storm of stones,illāإلاإِلَّآexceptālaآلءَالَ(the) familylūṭinلوطلُوطٍ(of) Lut,najjaynāhumنجيناهمنَّجَّيْنَٰهُمWe saved thembisaḥarinبسحربِسَحَرٍby dawnLo! We sent a storm of stones upon them (all) save the family of Lot, whom We rescued in the last watch of the night,We sent against them a storm of pebbles, except the family of Lot whom We saved before dawn,Indeed, We sent upon them a storm of stones, except the family of Lot - We saved them before dawn.We sent against them a violent Tornado with showers of stones, (which destroyed them), except Lut's household: them We delivered by early Dawn,- |
| 35 | نِّعۡمَةٗ مِّنۡ عِندِنَاۚ كَذَٰلِكَ نَجۡزِي مَن شَكَرَniʿ'matanنعمةنِّعْمَةً(As) a favorminمنمِّنْfromʿindināعندناعِندِنَاUs.kadhālikaكذلككَذَٰلِكَThusnajzīنجزينَجْزِىWe rewardmanمنمَن(one) whoshakaraشكرشَكَرَ(is) grateful.As grace from Us. Thus We reward him who giveth thanks.as a blessing from Us. Thus do We reward those who give thanks.As favor from Us. Thus do We reward he who is grateful.As a Grace from Us: thus do We reward those who give thanks. |
| 36 | وَلَقَدۡ أَنذَرَهُم بَطۡشَتَنَا فَتَمَارَوۡاْ بِٱلنُّذُرِwalaqadولقدوَلَقَدْAnd certainlyandharahumأنذرهمأَنذَرَهُمhe warned thembaṭshatanāبطشتنابَطْشَتَنَا(of) Our seizure,fatamārawفتماروافَتَمَارَوْاْbut they disputedbil-nudhuriبالنذربِٱلنُّذُرِthe warnings.And he indeed had warned them of Our blow, but they did doubt the warnings.He had already warned them of Our punishing assault, but they doubted the warnings.And he had already warned them of Our assault, but they disputed the warning.And (Lut) did warn them of Our Punishment, but they disputed about the Warning. |
| 37 | وَلَقَدۡ رَٰوَدُوهُ عَن ضَيۡفِهِۦ فَطَمَسۡنَآ أَعۡيُنَهُمۡ فَذُوقُواْ عَذَابِي وَنُذُرِwalaqadولقدوَلَقَدْAnd certainlyrāwadūhuراودوهرَٰوَدُوهُthey demanded from himʿanعنعَنthey demanded from himḍayfihiضيفهضَيْفِهِۦhis guests,faṭamasnāفطمسنافَطَمَسْنَآso We blindedaʿyunahumأعينهمأَعْيُنَهُمْtheir eyes.fadhūqūفذوقوافَذُوقُواْ"So tasteʿadhābīعذابيعَذَابِىMy punishmentwanudhuriونذروَنُذُرِand My warnings."They even asked of him his guests for an ill purpose. Then We blinded their eyes (and said): Taste now My punishment after My warnings!They even demanded that he let them have their way with his angel-guests[14], so We blinded their eyes, [saying], “Taste My punishment and My warnings!”And they had demanded from him his guests, but We obliterated their eyes, [saying], "Taste My punishment and warning."And they even sought to snatch away his guests from him, but We blinded their eyes. (They heard:) "Now taste ye My Wrath and My Warning." |
| 38 | وَلَقَدۡ صَبَّحَهُم بُكۡرَةً عَذَابٞ مُّسۡتَقِرّٞwalaqadولقدوَلَقَدْAnd certainlyṣabbaḥahumصبحهمصَبَّحَهُمseized them in the morningbuk'ratanبكرةبُكْرَةًearlyʿadhābunعذابعَذَابٌa punishmentmus'taqirrunمستقرمُّسْتَقِرٌّabiding.And in truth the punishment decreed befell them early in the morning.By the early morning a lasting torment overtook them.And there came upon them by morning an abiding punishment.Early on the morrow an abiding Punishment seized them: |
| 39 | فَذُوقُواْ عَذَابِي وَنُذُرِfadhūqūفذوقوافَذُوقُواْSo tasteʿadhābīعذابيعَذَابِىMy punishmentwanudhuriونذروَنُذُرِand My warnings.Now taste My punishment after My warnings!Taste My punishment and My warnings!So taste My punishment and warning."So taste ye My Wrath and My Warning." |
| 40 | وَلَقَدۡ يَسَّرۡنَا ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ لِلذِّكۡرِ فَهَلۡ مِن مُّدَّكِرٖwalaqadولقدوَلَقَدْAnd certainlyyassarnāيسرنايَسَّرْنَاWe have made easyl-qur'ānaالقرآنٱلْقُرْءَانَthe Quranlildhik'riللذكرلِلذِّكْرِfor remembrance,fahalفهلفَهَلْso is (there)minمنمِنanymuddakirinمدكرمُّدَّكِرٍwho will receive admonition?And in truth We have made the Qur'an easy to remember; but is there any that remembereth?We have certainly made the Qur’an easy to understand and remember; is there anyone to take heed?And We have certainly made the Qur’ān easy for remembrance, so is there any who will remember?And We have indeed made the Qur'an easy to understand and remember: then is there any that will receive admonition? |
| 41 | وَلَقَدۡ جَآءَ ءَالَ فِرۡعَوۡنَ ٱلنُّذُرُwalaqadولقدوَلَقَدْAnd certainlyjāaجاءجَآءَcameālaآلءَالَ(to the) peoplefir'ʿawnaفرعونفِرْعَوْنَ(of) Firaunl-nudhuruالنذرٱلنُّذُرُwarnings.And warnings came in truth unto the house of PharaohIndeed, warnings came to the people of Pharaoh.And there certainly came to the people of Pharaoh warning.To the People of Pharaoh, too, aforetime, came Warners (from Allah). |
| 42 | كَذَّبُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا كُلِّهَا فَأَخَذۡنَٰهُمۡ أَخۡذَ عَزِيزٖ مُّقۡتَدِرٍkadhabūكذبواكَذَّبُواْThey deniedbiāyātināبآياتنابِـَٔايَٰتِنَاOur Signs,kullihāكلهاكُلِّهَاall of them,fa-akhadhnāhumفأخذناهمفَأَخَذْنَٰهُمْso We seized themakhdhaأخذأَخْذَ(with) a seizureʿazīzinعزيزعَزِيزٍ(of) All-Mighty,muq'tadirinمقتدرمُّقْتَدِرٍ(the) Powerful One.Who denied Our revelations, every one. Therefore We grasped them with the grasp of the Mighty, the Powerful.But they rejected all of Our signs, so We seized them with the grip of the All-Mighty, Most Powerful.They denied Our signs, all of them, so We seized them with a seizure of one Exalted in Might and Perfect in Ability.The (people) rejected all Our Signs; but We seized them with such Penalty (as comes) from One Exalted in Power, able to carry out His Will. |
| 43 | أَكُفَّارُكُمۡ خَيۡرٞ مِّنۡ أُوْلَٰٓئِكُمۡ أَمۡ لَكُم بَرَآءَةٞ فِي ٱلزُّبُرِakuffārukumأكفاركمأَكُفَّارُكُمْAre your disbelievers,khayrunخيرخَيْرٌbetterminمنمِّنْthanulāikumأولئكمأُوْلَٰٓئِكُمْthose,amأمأَمْorlakumلكملَكُمfor youbarāatunبراءةبَرَآءَةٌ(is) an exemptionfīفيفِىinl-zuburiالزبرٱلزُّبُرِthe Scriptures?Are your disbelievers better than those, or have ye some immunity in the scriptures?Are your disbelievers [O Makkans] superior to those[15] or have you been granted immunity in divine Scriptures?Are your disbelievers better than those [former ones], or have you immunity in the scriptures?Are your Unbelievers, (O Quraish), better than they? Or have ye an immunity in the Sacred Books? |
| 44 | أَمۡ يَقُولُونَ نَحۡنُ جَمِيعٞ مُّنتَصِرٞamأمأَمْOryaqūlūnaيقولونيَقُولُونَ(do) they say,naḥnuنحننَحْنُ"Wejamīʿunجميعجَمِيعٌ(are) an assemblymuntaṣirunمنتصرمُّنتَصِرٌhelping (each other)?"Or say they: We are a host victorious?Or do they say, “We are a united front, bound to prevail.”?Or do they say, "We are an assembly supporting [each other]"?Or do they say: "We acting together can defend ourselves"? |
| 45 | سَيُهۡزَمُ ٱلۡجَمۡعُ وَيُوَلُّونَ ٱلدُّبُرَsayuh'zamuسيهزمسَيُهْزَمُSoon will be defeatedl-jamʿuالجمعٱلْجَمْعُ(their) assembly,wayuwallūnaويولونوَيُوَلُّونَand they will turnl-duburaالدبرٱلدُّبُرَ(their) backs.The hosts will all be routed and will turn and flee.Soon their united front will be defeated, and they will flee[16].[Their] assembly will be defeated, and they will turn their backs [in retreat].[1587]Soon will their multitude be put to flight, and they will show their backs. |
| 46 | بَلِ ٱلسَّاعَةُ مَوۡعِدُهُمۡ وَٱلسَّاعَةُ أَدۡهَىٰ وَأَمَرُّbaliبلبَلِNay,l-sāʿatuالساعةٱلسَّاعَةُthe Hourmawʿiduhumموعدهممَوْعِدُهُمْ(is) their promised time,wal-sāʿatuوالساعةوَٱلسَّاعَةُand the Houradhāأدهىأَدْهَىٰ(will be) more grievouswa-amarruوأمروَأَمَرُّand more bitter.Nay, but the Hour (of doom) is their appointed tryst, and the Hour will be more wretched and more bitter (than their earthly failure).But the Hour is their appointed time, and the Hour is more catastrophic and more bitter.But the Hour is their appointment [for due punishment], and the Hour is more disastrous and more bitter.Nay, the Hour (of Judgment) is the time promised them (for their full recompense): And that Hour will be most grievous and most bitter. |
| 47 | إِنَّ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمِينَ فِي ضَلَٰلٖ وَسُعُرٖinnaإنإِنَّIndeed,l-muj'rimīnaالمجرمينٱلْمُجْرِمِينَthe criminalsfīفيفِى(are) inḍalālinضلالضَلَٰلٍan errorwasuʿurinوسعروَسُعُرٍand madness.Lo! the guilty are in error and madness.Indeed, the wicked are in error and blazes[17].Indeed, the criminals are in error and madness.[1588].Truly those in sin are the ones straying in mind, and mad. |
| 48 | يَوۡمَ يُسۡحَبُونَ فِي ٱلنَّارِ عَلَىٰ وُجُوهِهِمۡ ذُوقُواْ مَسَّ سَقَرَyawmaيوميَوْمَ(The) Dayyus'ḥabūnaيسحبونيُسْحَبُونَthey will be draggedfīفيفِىintol-nāriالنارٱلنَّارِthe Fireʿalāعلىعَلَىٰonwujūhihimوجوههموُجُوهِهِمْtheir faces,dhūqūذوقواذُوقُواْ"Tastemassaمسمَسَّ(the) touchsaqaraسقرسَقَرَ(of) Hell."On the day when they are dragged into the Fire upon their faces (it is said unto them): Feel the touch of hell.On the Day when they will be dragged into the Fire on their faces, [they will be told], “Taste the agony of Hell[18]!”The Day they are dragged into the Fire on their faces [it will be said], "Taste the touch of Saqar."[1589]The Day they will be dragged through the Fire on their faces, (they will hear:) "Taste ye the touch of Hell!" |
| 49 | إِنَّا كُلَّ شَيۡءٍ خَلَقۡنَٰهُ بِقَدَرٖinnāإناإِنَّاIndeed, [We]kullaكلكُلَّeveryshayinشيءشَىْءٍthingkhalaqnāhuخلقناهخَلَقْنَٰهُWe created itbiqadarinبقدربِقَدَرٍby a measure.Lo! We have created every thing by measure.We have surely created everything in a determined measure[19].Indeed, all things We created with predestination.Verily, all things have We created in proportion and measure. |
| 50 | وَمَآ أَمۡرُنَآ إِلَّا وَٰحِدَةٞ كَلَمۡحِۭ بِٱلۡبَصَرِwamāوماوَمَآAnd notamrunāأمرناأَمْرُنَآ(is) Our Commandillāإلاإِلَّاbutwāḥidatunواحدةوَٰحِدَةٌone,kalamḥinكلمحكَلَمْحٍۭlike the twinklingbil-baṣariبالبصربِٱلْبَصَرِ(of) the eye.And Our commandment is but one (commandment), as the twinkling of an eye.Our command is but a single word[20], which is fulfilled in the blink of an eye.And Our command is but one, like a glance of the eye.And Our Command is but a single (Act),- like the twinkling of an eye. |
| 51 | وَلَقَدۡ أَهۡلَكۡنَآ أَشۡيَاعَكُمۡ فَهَلۡ مِن مُّدَّكِرٖwalaqadولقدوَلَقَدْAnd certainlyahlaknāأهلكناأَهْلَكْنَآWe destroyedashyāʿakumأشياعكمأَشْيَاعَكُمْyour kinds,fahalفهلفَهَلْso is (there)minمنمِنanymuddakirinمدكرمُّدَّكِرٍwho will receive admonition?And verily We have destroyed your fellows; but is there any that remembereth?We have destroyed many like you [O Makkans][21]; is there anyone to take heed?And We have already destroyed your kinds,[1590] so is there any who will remember?And (oft) in the past, have We destroyed gangs like unto you: then is there any that will receive admonition? |
| 52 | وَكُلُّ شَيۡءٖ فَعَلُوهُ فِي ٱلزُّبُرِwakulluوكلوَكُلُّAnd everyshayinشيءشَىْءٍthingfaʿalūhuفعلوهفَعَلُوهُthey didfīفيفِى(is) inl-zuburiالزبرٱلزُّبُرِthe written records.And every thing they did is in the scriptures,Everything they did is in the written records,And everything they did is in written records.All that they do is noted in (their) Books (of Deeds): |
| 53 | وَكُلُّ صَغِيرٖ وَكَبِيرٖ مُّسۡتَطَرٌwakulluوكلوَكُلُّAnd everyṣaghīrinصغيرصَغِيرٍsmallwakabīrinوكبيروَكَبِيرٍand bigmus'taṭarunمستطرمُّسْتَطَرٌ(is) written down.And every small and great thing is recorded.and everything, small or big, is written down.And every small and great [thing] is inscribed.Every matter, small and great, is on record. |
| 54 | إِنَّ ٱلۡمُتَّقِينَ فِي جَنَّٰتٖ وَنَهَرٖinnaإنإِنَّIndeed,l-mutaqīnaالمتقينٱلْمُتَّقِينَthe righteousfīفيفِى(will be) injannātinجناتجَنَّٰتٍgardenswanaharinونهروَنَهَرٍand river,Lo! the righteous will dwell among gardens and rivers,Indeed, the righteous will be in gardens and rivers[22],Indeed, the righteous will be among gardens and rivers,As to the Righteous, they will be in the midst of Gardens and Rivers, |
| 55 | فِي مَقۡعَدِ صِدۡقٍ عِندَ مَلِيكٖ مُّقۡتَدِرِۭfīفيفِىInmaqʿadiمقعدمَقْعَدِa seatṣid'qinصدقصِدْقٍ(of) honorʿindaعندعِندَnearmalīkinمليكمَلِيكٍa Kingmuq'tadirinمقتدرمُّقْتَدِرٍۭMost Powerful.Firmly established in the favour of a Mighty King.seated in honor in the presence of the Most Powerful Sovereign.In a seat of honor near a Sovereign, Perfect in Ability.[1591]In an Assembly of Truth, in the Presence of a Sovereign Omnipotent. |
| 1 | اقْتَرَبَتِ السَّاعَةُ وَانشَقَّ الْقَمَرُ |
| 2 | وَإِن يَرَوْا آيَةً يُعْرِضُوا وَيَقُولُوا سِحْرٌ مُّسْتَمِرٌّ |
| 3 | وَكَذَّبُوا وَاتَّبَعُوا أَهْوَاءَهُمْ وَكُلُّ أَمْرٍ مُّسْتَقِرٌّ |
| 4 | وَلَقَدْ جَاءَهُم مِّنَ الْأَنبَاءِ مَا فِيهِ مُزْدَجَرٌ |
| 5 | حِكْمَةٌ بَالِغَةٌ فَمَا تُغْنِ النُّذُرُ |
| 6 | فَتَوَلَّ عَنْهُمْ يَوْمَ يَدْعُ الدَّاعِ إِلَىٰ شَيْءٍ نُّكُرٍ |
| 7 | خُشَّعًا أَبْصَارُهُمْ يَخْرُجُونَ مِنَ الْأَجْدَاثِ كَأَنَّهُمْ جَرَادٌ مُّنتَشِرٌ |
| 8 | مُّهْطِعِينَ إِلَى الدَّاعِ يَقُولُ الْكَافِرُونَ هَٰذَا يَوْمٌ عَسِرٌ |
| 9 | ۞ كَذَّبَتْ قَبْلَهُمْ قَوْمُ نُوحٍ فَكَذَّبُوا عَبْدَنَا وَقَالُوا مَجْنُونٌ وَازْدُجِرَ |
| 10 | فَدَعَا رَبَّهُ أَنِّي مَغْلُوبٌ فَانتَصِرْ |
| 11 | فَفَتَحْنَا أَبْوَابَ السَّمَاءِ بِمَاءٍ مُّنْهَمِرٍ |
| 12 | وَفَجَّرْنَا الْأَرْضَ عُيُونًا فَالْتَقَى الْمَاءُ عَلَىٰ أَمْرٍ قَدْ قُدِرَ |
| 13 | وَحَمَلْنَاهُ عَلَىٰ ذَاتِ أَلْوَاحٍ وَدُسُرٍ |
| 14 | تَجْرِي بِأَعْيُنِنَا جَزَاءً لِّمَن كَانَ كُفِرَ |
| 15 | وَلَقَد تَّرَكْنَاهَا آيَةً فَهَلْ مِن مُّدَّكِرٍ |
| 16 | فَكَيْفَ كَانَ عَذَابِي وَنُذُرِ |
| 17 | وَلَقَدْ يَسَّرْنَا الْقُرْآنَ لِلذِّكْرِ فَهَلْ مِن مُّدَّكِرٍ |
| 18 | كَذَّبَتْ عَادٌ فَكَيْفَ كَانَ عَذَابِي وَنُذُرِ |
| 19 | إِنَّا أَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ رِيحًا صَرْصَرًا فِي يَوْمِ نَحْسٍ مُّسْتَمِرٍّ |
| 20 | تَنزِعُ النَّاسَ كَأَنَّهُمْ أَعْجَازُ نَخْلٍ مُّنقَعِرٍ |
| 21 | فَكَيْفَ كَانَ عَذَابِي وَنُذُرِ |
| 22 | وَلَقَدْ يَسَّرْنَا الْقُرْآنَ لِلذِّكْرِ فَهَلْ مِن مُّدَّكِرٍ |
| 23 | كَذَّبَتْ ثَمُودُ بِالنُّذُرِ |
| 24 | فَقَالُوا أَبَشَرًا مِّنَّا وَاحِدًا نَّتَّبِعُهُ إِنَّا إِذًا لَّفِي ضَلَالٍ وَسُعُرٍ |
| 25 | أَأُلْقِيَ الذِّكْرُ عَلَيْهِ مِن بَيْنِنَا بَلْ هُوَ كَذَّابٌ أَشِرٌ |
| 26 | سَيَعْلَمُونَ غَدًا مَّنِ الْكَذَّابُ الْأَشِرُ |
| 27 | إِنَّا مُرْسِلُو النَّاقَةِ فِتْنَةً لَّهُمْ فَارْتَقِبْهُمْ وَاصْطَبِرْ |
| 28 | وَنَبِّئْهُمْ أَنَّ الْمَاءَ قِسْمَةٌ بَيْنَهُمْ كُلُّ شِرْبٍ مُّحْتَضَرٌ |
| 29 | فَنَادَوْا صَاحِبَهُمْ فَتَعَاطَىٰ فَعَقَرَ |
| 30 | فَكَيْفَ كَانَ عَذَابِي وَنُذُرِ |
| 31 | إِنَّا أَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ صَيْحَةً وَاحِدَةً فَكَانُوا كَهَشِيمِ الْمُحْتَظِرِ |
| 32 | وَلَقَدْ يَسَّرْنَا الْقُرْآنَ لِلذِّكْرِ فَهَلْ مِن مُّدَّكِرٍ |
| 33 | كَذَّبَتْ قَوْمُ لُوطٍ بِالنُّذُرِ |
| 34 | إِنَّا أَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ حَاصِبًا إِلَّا آلَ لُوطٍ نَّجَّيْنَاهُم بِسَحَرٍ |
| 35 | نِّعْمَةً مِّنْ عِندِنَا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِي مَن شَكَرَ |
| 36 | وَلَقَدْ أَنذَرَهُم بَطْشَتَنَا فَتَمَارَوْا بِالنُّذُرِ |
| 37 | وَلَقَدْ رَاوَدُوهُ عَن ضَيْفِهِ فَطَمَسْنَا أَعْيُنَهُمْ فَذُوقُوا عَذَابِي وَنُذُرِ |
| 38 | وَلَقَدْ صَبَّحَهُم بُكْرَةً عَذَابٌ مُّسْتَقِرٌّ |
| 39 | فَذُوقُوا عَذَابِي وَنُذُرِ |
| 40 | وَلَقَدْ يَسَّرْنَا الْقُرْآنَ لِلذِّكْرِ فَهَلْ مِن مُّدَّكِرٍ |
| 41 | وَلَقَدْ جَاءَ آلَ فِرْعَوْنَ النُّذُرُ |
| 42 | كَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِنَا كُلِّهَا فَأَخَذْنَاهُمْ أَخْذَ عَزِيزٍ مُّقْتَدِرٍ |
| 43 | أَكُفَّارُكُمْ خَيْرٌ مِّنْ أُولَٰئِكُمْ أَمْ لَكُم بَرَاءَةٌ فِي الزُّبُرِ |
| 44 | أَمْ يَقُولُونَ نَحْنُ جَمِيعٌ مُّنتَصِرٌ |
| 45 | سَيُهْزَمُ الْجَمْعُ وَيُوَلُّونَ الدُّبُرَ |
| 46 | بَلِ السَّاعَةُ مَوْعِدُهُمْ وَالسَّاعَةُ أَدْهَىٰ وَأَمَرُّ |
| 47 | إِنَّ الْمُجْرِمِينَ فِي ضَلَالٍ وَسُعُرٍ |
| 48 | يَوْمَ يُسْحَبُونَ فِي النَّارِ عَلَىٰ وُجُوهِهِمْ ذُوقُوا مَسَّ سَقَرَ |
| 49 | إِنَّا كُلَّ شَيْءٍ خَلَقْنَاهُ بِقَدَرٍ |
| 50 | وَمَا أَمْرُنَا إِلَّا وَاحِدَةٌ كَلَمْحٍ بِالْبَصَرِ |
| 51 | وَلَقَدْ أَهْلَكْنَا أَشْيَاعَكُمْ فَهَلْ مِن مُّدَّكِرٍ |
| 52 | وَكُلُّ شَيْءٍ فَعَلُوهُ فِي الزُّبُرِ |
| 53 | وَكُلُّ صَغِيرٍ وَكَبِيرٍ مُّسْتَطَرٌ |
| 54 | إِنَّ الْمُتَّقِينَ فِي جَنَّاتٍ وَنَهَرٍ |
| 55 | فِي مَقْعَدِ صِدْقٍ عِندَ مَلِيكٍ مُّقْتَدِرٍ |
| 1 | ٱقْتَرَبَتِ ٱلسَّاعَةُ وَٱنشَقَّ ٱلْقَمَرُiq'tarabatiاقتربتٱقْتَرَبَتِHas come nearl-sāʿatuالساعةٱلسَّاعَةُthe Hourwa-inshaqqaوانشقوَٱنشَقَّand has splitl-qamaruالقمرٱلْقَمَرُthe moon.The hour drew nigh and the moon was rent in twain.The Hour has drawn near and the moon has split asunder[1].The Hour has come near, and the moon has split [in two].[1577]The Hour (of Judgment) is nigh, and the moon is cleft asunder. |
| 2 | وَإِن يَرَوْاْ ءَايَةٗ يُعْرِضُواْ وَيَقُولُواْ سِحْرَ مُّسْتَمِرَّwa-inوإنوَإِنAnd ifyarawيروايَرَوْاْthey seeāyatanآيةءَايَةًa Sign,yuʿ'riḍūيعرضوايُعْرِضُواْthey turn awaywayaqūlūويقولواوَيَقُولُواْand say,siḥ'runسحرسِحْرٌ"Magicmus'tamirrunمستمرمُّسْتَمِرٌّcontinuing."And if they behold a portent they turn away and say: Prolonged illusion.Whenever they see a sign[2], they turn away and say, “Same old magic!”And if they see a sign [i.e., miracle], they turn away and say, "Passing magic."[1578]But if they see a Sign, they turn away, and say, "This is (but) transient magic." |
| 3 | وَكَذَّبُواْ وَٱتَّبَعُوٓاْ أَهْوَآءَهُمْۚ وَكُلُّ أَمْرٖ مُّسْتَقِرَّwakadhabūوكذبواوَكَذَّبُواْAnd they deniedwa-ittabaʿūواتبعواوَٱتَّبَعُوٓاْand followedahwāahumأهواءهمأَهْوَآءَهُمْtheir desires,wakulluوكلوَكُلُّbut (for) everyamrinأمرأَمْرٍmattermus'taqirrunمستقرمُّسْتَقِرٌّ(will be a) settlement.They denied (the Truth) and followed their own lusts. Yet everything will come to a decisionThey deny [the truth] and follow their desires, but every matter will reach its inevitable end.And they denied and followed their inclinations. But for every matter is a [time of] settlement.They reject (the warning) and follow their (own) lusts but every matter has its appointed time. |
| 4 | وَلَقَدْ جَآءَهُم مِّنَ ٱلْأَنۢبَآءِ مَا فِيهِ مُزْدَجَرٌwalaqadولقدوَلَقَدْAnd certainlyjāahumجاءهمجَآءَهُمhas come to themminaمنمِّنَofl-anbāiالأنباءٱلْأَنۢبَآءِthe informationmāمامَاwhereinfīhiفيهفِيهِwhereinmuz'dajarunمزدجرمُزْدَجَرٌ(is) deterrence,And surely there hath come unto them news whereof the purport should deter,There have already come to them stories [of destroyed nations] that are sufficient to deter them,And there has already come to them of information that in which there is deterrence.There have already come to them Recitals wherein there is (enough) to check (them), |
| 5 | حِكْمَةُۢ بَٰلِغَةَۖ فَمَا تُغْنِ ٱلنُّذُرُḥik'matunحكمةحِكْمَةٌۢWisdombālighatunبالغةبَٰلِغَةٌperfect,famāفمافَمَاbut nottugh'niتغنتُغْنِwill availl-nudhuruالنذرٱلنُّذُرُthe warnings.Effective wisdom; but warnings avail not.which contain extensive wisdom, but the warnings are of no avail.Extensive wisdom - but warning does not avail [them].Mature wisdom;- but (the preaching of) Warners profits them not. |
| 6 | فَتَوَلَّ عَنْهُمْۘ يَوْمَ يَدْعُ ٱلدَّاعِ إِلَىٰ شَيْءٖ نُّكُرٍfatawallaفتولفَتَوَلَّSo turn awayʿanhumعنهمعَنْهُمْfrom them.yawmaيوميَوْمَ(The) Day,yadʿuيدعيَدْعُwill calll-dāʿiالداعٱلدَّاعِthe callerilāإلىإِلَىٰtoshayinشيءشَىْءٍa thingnukurinنكرنُّكُرٍterrible,So withdraw from them (O Muhammad) on the day when the Summoner summoneth unto a painful thing.So turn away from them [O Prophet]. On the Day when the caller[3] will summon them to a horrific event[4],So leave them, [O Muḥammad]. The Day the Caller[1579] calls to something forbidding,Therefore, (O Prophet,) turn away from them. The Day that the Caller will call (them) to a terrible affair, |
| 7 | خُشَّعًا أَبْصَٰرُهُمْ يَخْرُجُونَ مِنَ ٱلْأَجْدَاثِ كَأَنَّهُمْ جَرَادَ مُّنتَشِرَkhushaʿanخشعاخُشَّعًا(Will be) humbledabṣāruhumأبصارهمأَبْصَٰرُهُمْtheir eyesyakhrujūnaيخرجونيَخْرُجُونَthey will come forthminaمنمِنَfroml-ajdāthiالأجداثٱلْأَجْدَاثِthe graveska-annahumكأنهمكَأَنَّهُمْas if they (were)jarādunجرادجَرَادٌlocustsmuntashirunمنتشرمُّنتَشِرٌspreading,With downcast eyes, they come forth from the graves as they were locusts spread abroad,with eyes downcast, they will come out of the graves like scattered locusts,Their eyes humbled, they will emerge from the graves as if they were locusts spreading,They will come forth,- their eyes humbled - from (their) graves, (torpid) like locusts scattered abroad, |
| 8 | مُّهْطِعِينَ إِلَى ٱلدَّاعِۖ يَقُولُ ٱلْكَٰفِرُونَ هَٰذَا يَوْمٌ عَسِرَmuh'ṭiʿīnaمهطعينمُّهْطِعِينَRacing aheadilāإلىإِلَىtowardsl-dāʿiالداعٱلدَّاعِthe caller.yaqūluيقوليَقُولُWill sayl-kāfirūnaالكافرونٱلْكَٰفِرُونَthe disbelievers,hādhāهذاهَٰذَا"Thisyawmunيوميَوْمٌ(is) a Dayʿasirunعسرعَسِرٌdifficult."Hastening toward the summoner; the disbelievers say: This is a hard day.rushing headlong towards the caller. The disbelievers will say, “This is a hard Day!”Racing ahead toward the Caller. The disbelievers will say, "This is a difficult Day."Hastening, with eyes transfixed, towards the Caller!- "Hard is this Day!", the Unbelievers will say. |
| 9 | ۞ كَذَّبَتْ قَبْلَهُمْ قَوْمُ نُوحٖ فَكَذَّبُواْ عَبْدَنَا وَقَالُواْ مَجْنُونَ وَٱزْدُجِرَkadhabatكذبتكَذَّبَتْDeniedqablahumقبلهمقَبْلَهُمْbefore themqawmuقومقَوْمُ(the) peoplenūḥinنوحنُوحٍ(of) Nuh,fakadhabūفكذبوافَكَذَّبُواْand they deniedʿabdanāعبدناعَبْدَنَاOur slavewaqālūوقالواوَقَالُواْand said,majnūnunمجنونمَجْنُونٌ"A madman,"wa-uz'dujiraوازدجروَٱزْدُجِرَand he was repelled.The folk of Noah denied before them, yea, they denied Our slave and said: A madman; and he was repulsed.The people of Noah rejected [the truth] before them; they rejected Our slave and said, “He is a madman,” and he was intimidated.The people of Noah denied before them, and they denied Our servant and said, "A madman," and he was repelled.Before them the People of Noah rejected (their messenger): they rejected Our servant, and said, "Here is one possessed!", and he was driven out. |
| 10 | فَدَعَا رَبَّهُٓ أَنِّي مَغْلُوبَ فَٱنتَصِرْfadaʿāفدعافَدَعَاSo he calledrabbahuربهرَبَّهُٓhis Lord,annīأنيأَنِّى"I ammaghlūbunمغلوبمَغْلُوبٌone overpowered,fa-intaṣirفانتصرفَٱنتَصِرْso help."So he cried unto his Lord, saying: I am vanquished, so give help.So he called upon his Lord, “I am overpowered, so help me!”So he invoked his Lord, "Indeed, I am overpowered, so help."Then he called on his Lord: "I am one overcome: do Thou then help (me)!" |
| 11 | فَفَتَحْنَآ أَبْوَٰبَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ بِمَآءٖ مُّنْهَمِرٖfafataḥnāففتحنافَفَتَحْنَآSo We openedabwābaأبوابأَبْوَٰبَ(the) gatesl-samāiالسماءٱلسَّمَآءِ(of) heavenbimāinبماءبِمَآءٍwith watermun'hamirinمنهمرمُّنْهَمِرٍpouring downThen opened We the gates of heaven with pouring waterSo We opened the gates of the sky with water pouring down in torrents,Then We opened the gates of the heaven with rain pouring downSo We opened the gates of heaven, with water pouring forth. |
| 12 | وَفَجَّرْنَا ٱلْأَرْضَ عُيُونٗا فَٱلْتَقَى ٱلْمَآءُ عَلَىٰٓ أَمْرٖ قَدْ قُدِرَwafajjarnāوفجرناوَفَجَّرْنَاAnd We caused to burstl-arḍaالأرضٱلْأَرْضَthe earthʿuyūnanعيوناعُيُونًا(with) springs,fal-taqāفالتقىفَٱلْتَقَىso metl-māuالماءٱلْمَآءُthe water(s)ʿalāعلىعَلَىٰٓforamrinأمرأَمْرٍa matterqadقدقَدْalreadyqudiraقدرقُدِرَpredestined.And caused the earth to gush forth springs, so that the waters met for a predestined purpose.and We caused the earth to burst forth with springs, then the waters met for a preordained purpose.And caused the earth to burst with springs, and the waters met for a matter already predestined.And We caused the earth to gush forth with springs, so the waters met (and rose) to the extent decreed. |
| 13 | وَحَمَلْنَٰهُ عَلَىٰ ذَاتِ أَلْوَٰحٖ وَدُسُرٖwaḥamalnāhuوحملناهوَحَمَلْنَٰهُAnd We carried himʿalāعلىعَلَىٰondhātiذاتذَاتِ(ark) made of planksalwāḥinألواحأَلْوَٰحٍ(ark) made of plankswadusurinودسروَدُسُرٍand nails,And We carried him upon a thing of planks and nails,We carried him on an [Ark made] of planks and nails,And We carried him on a [construction of] planks and nails,But We bore him on an (Ark) made of broad planks and caulked with palm-fibre: |
| 14 | تَجْرِي بِأَعْيُنِنَا جَزَآءٗ لِّمَن كَانَ كُفِرَtajrīتجريتَجْرِىSailingbi-aʿyunināبأعيننابِأَعْيُنِنَاbefore Our eyes,jazāanجزاءجَزَآءًa rewardlimanلمنلِّمَنfor (he) whokānaكانكَانَwaskufiraكفركُفِرَdenied.That ran (upon the waters) in Our sight, as a reward for him who was rejected.sailing under Our [Watchful] Eyes; as a reward for the one [they] denied.Sailing under Our observation as reward for he who had been denied.She floats under our eyes (and care): a recompense to one who had been rejected (with scorn)! |
| 15 | وَلَقَد تَّرَكْنَٰهَآ ءَايَةٗ فَهَلْ مِن مُّدَّكِرٖwalaqadولقدوَلَقَدAnd certainlytaraknāhāتركناهاتَّرَكْنَٰهَآWe left itāyatanآيةءَايَةً(as) a Sign,fahalفهلفَهَلْso is (there)minمنمِنanymuddakirinمدكرمُّدَّكِرٍwho will receive admonition?And verily We left it as a token; but is there any that remembereth?We have certainly left it[5] as a sign; is there anyone to take heed?And We left it as a sign, so is there any who will remember?And We have left this as a Sign (for all time): then is there any that will receive admonition? |
| 16 | فَكَيْفَ كَانَ عَذَابِي وَنُذُرِfakayfaفكيففَكَيْفَSo howkānaكانكَانَwasʿadhābīعذابيعَذَابِىMy punishmentwanudhuriونذروَنُذُرِand My warnings?Then see how (dreadful) was My punishment after My warnings!Then how were My punishment and My warnings[6]?And how [severe] were My punishment and warning.[1580]But how (terrible) was My Penalty and My Warning? |
| 17 | وَلَقَدْ يَسَّرْنَا ٱلْقُرْءَانَ لِلذِّكْرِ فَهَلْ مِن مُّدَّكِرٖwalaqadولقدوَلَقَدْAnd certainlyyassarnāيسرنايَسَّرْنَاWe have made easyl-qur'ānaالقرآنٱلْقُرْءَانَthe Quranlildhik'riللذكرلِلذِّكْرِfor remembrance,fahalفهلفَهَلْso is (there)minمنمِنanymuddakirinمدكرمُّدَّكِرٍwho will receive admonition?And in truth We have made the Qur'an easy to remember; but is there any that remembereth?We have certainly made the Qur’an easy to understand and remember; is there anyone to take heed?And We have certainly made the Qur’ān easy for remembrance, so is there any who will remember?And We have indeed made the Qur'an easy to understand and remember: then is there any that will receive admonition? |
| 18 | كَذَّبَتْ عَادَ فَكَيْفَ كَانَ عَذَابِي وَنُذُرِkadhabatكذبتكَذَّبَتْDeniedʿādunعادعَادٌAad;fakayfaفكيففَكَيْفَso howkānaكانكَانَwasʿadhābīعذابيعَذَابِىMy punishmentwanudhuriونذروَنُذُرِand My warnings?(The tribe of) A'ad rejected warnings. Then how (dreadful) was My punishment after My warnings.‘Ād disbelieved. Then how were My punishment and My warnings?ʿAad denied; and how [severe] were My punishment and warning.The 'Ad (people) (too) rejected (Truth): then how terrible was My Penalty and My Warning? |
| 19 | إِنَّآ أَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ رِيحٗا صَرْصَرٗا فِي يَوْمِ نَحْسٖ مُّسْتَمِرّٖinnāإناإِنَّآIndeed, Wearsalnāأرسلناأَرْسَلْنَا[We] sentʿalayhimعليهمعَلَيْهِمْupon themrīḥanريحارِيحًاa windṣarṣaranصرصراصَرْصَرًاfuriousfīفيفِىonyawmiيوميَوْمِa daynaḥsinنحسنَحْسٍ(of) misfortunemus'tamirrinمستمرمُّسْتَمِرٍّcontinuous,Lo! We let loose on them a raging wind on a day of constant calamity,We sent against them a furious wind[7] on a day of continuous misfortune,Indeed, We sent upon them a screaming wind on a day of continuous misfortune,For We sent against them a furious wind, on a Day of violent Disaster, |
| 20 | تَنزِعُ ٱلنَّاسَ كَأَنَّهُمْ أَعْجَازُ نَخْلٖ مُّنقَعِرٖtanziʿuتنزعتَنزِعُPlucking outl-nāsaالناسٱلنَّاسَmenka-annahumكأنهمكَأَنَّهُمْas if they (were)aʿjāzuأعجازأَعْجَازُtrunksnakhlinنخلنَخْلٍ(of) date-palmsmunqaʿirinمنقعرمُّنقَعِرٍuprooted.Sweeping men away as though they were uprooted trunks of palm-trees.sweeping people away[8], as if they were trunks of uprooted palm trees.Extracting the people[1581] as if they were trunks of palm trees uprooted.Plucking out men as if they were roots of palm-trees torn up (from the ground). |
| 21 | فَكَيْفَ كَانَ عَذَابِي وَنُذُرِfakayfaفكيففَكَيْفَSo howkānaكانكَانَwasʿadhābīعذابيعَذَابِىMy punishmentwanudhuriونذروَنُذُرِand My warnings?Then see how (dreadful) was My punishment after My warnings!Then how were My punishment and My warnings?And how [severe] were My punishment and warning.Yea, how (terrible) was My Penalty and My Warning! |
| 22 | وَلَقَدْ يَسَّرْنَا ٱلْقُرْءَانَ لِلذِّكْرِ فَهَلْ مِن مُّدَّكِرٖwalaqadولقدوَلَقَدْAnd certainly,yassarnāيسرنايَسَّرْنَاWe have made easyl-qur'ānaالقرآنٱلْقُرْءَانَthe Quranlildhik'riللذكرلِلذِّكْرِfor remembrance,fahalفهلفَهَلْso is (there)minمنمِنanymuddakirinمدكرمُّدَّكِرٍwho will receive admonition?And in truth We have made the Qur'an easy to remember; but is there any that remembereth?We have certainly made the Qur’an easy to understand and remember; is there anyone to take heed?And We have certainly made the Qur’ān easy for remembrance, so is there any who will remember?But We have indeed made the Qur'an easy to understand and remember: then is there any that will receive admonition? |
| 23 | كَذَّبَتْ ثَمُودُ بِٱلنُّذُرِkadhabatكذبتكَذَّبَتْDeniedthamūduثمودثَمُودُThamudbil-nudhuriبالنذربِٱلنُّذُرِthe warnings,(The tribe of) Thamud rejected warningsThamūd rejected the warnings,Thamūd denied the warning.The Thamud (also) rejected (their) Warners. |
| 24 | فَقَالُوٓاْ أَبَشَرٗا مِّنَّا وَٰحِدٗا نَّتَّبِعُهُٓ إِنَّآ إِذٗا لَّفِي ضَلَٰلٖ وَسُعُرٍfaqālūفقالوافَقَالُوٓاْAnd said,abasharanأبشراأَبَشَرًا"Is (it) a human beingminnāمنامِّنَّاamong uswāḥidanواحداوَٰحِدًاone,nattabiʿuhuنتبعهنَّتَّبِعُهُٓ(that) we should follow him?innāإناإِنَّآIndeed, weidhanإذاإِذًاthenlafīلفيلَّفِى(will be) surely inḍalālinضلالضَلَٰلٍerrorwasuʿurinوسعروَسُعُرٍand madness.For they said; Is it a mortal man, alone among us, that we are to follow? Then indeed we should fall into error and madness.They said, “Shall we follow a single human being[9] from among us? Then we would surely be in error and insanity!And said, "Is it one human being[1582] among us that we should follow? Indeed, we would then be in error and madness.For they said: "What! a man! a Solitary one from among ourselves! shall we follow such a one? Truly should we then be straying in mind, and mad! |
| 25 | أَءُلْقِيَ ٱلذِّكْرُ عَلَيْهِ مِنۢ بَيْنِنَا بَلْ هُوَ كَذَّابٌ أَشِرَa-ul'qiyaأألقيأَءُلْقِىَHas been sentl-dhik'ruالذكرٱلذِّكْرُthe Reminderʿalayhiعليهعَلَيْهِto himminمنمِنۢfrombaynināبيننابَيْنِنَاamong us?balبلبَلْNay,huwaهوهُوَhekadhābunكذابكَذَّابٌ(is) a liarashirunأشرأَشِرٌinsolent."Hath the remembrance been given unto him alone among us? Nay, but he is a rash liar.Has the revelation been sent down upon him out of all of us? Rather, he is an insolent liar.”Has the message been sent down upon him from among us? Rather, he is an insolent liar.""Is it that the Message is sent to him, of all people amongst us? Nay, he is a liar, an insolent one!" |
| 26 | سَيَعْلَمُونَ غَدٗا مَّنِ ٱلْكَذَّابُ ٱلْأَشِرُsayaʿlamūnaسيعلمونسَيَعْلَمُونَThey will knowghadanغداغَدًاtomorrowmaniمنمَّنِwhol-kadhābuالكذابٱلْكَذَّابُ(is) the liar,l-ashiruالأشرٱلْأَشِرُthe insolent one.(Unto their warner it was said): To-morrow they will know who is the rash liar.Tomorrow they will know who the insolent liar is.They will know tomorrow who is the insolent liar.Ah! they will know on the morrow, which is the liar, the insolent one! |
| 27 | إِنَّا مُرْسِلُواْ ٱلنَّاقَةِ فِتْنَةٗ لَّهُمْ فَٱرْتَقِبْهُمْ وَٱصْطَبِرْinnāإناإِنَّاIndeed, Wemur'silūمرسلومُرْسِلُواْ(are) sendingl-nāqatiالناقةٱلنَّاقَةِthe she-camelfit'natanفتنةفِتْنَةً(as) a triallahumلهملَّهُمْfor them,fa-ir'taqib'humفارتقبهمفَٱرْتَقِبْهُمْso watch themwa-iṣ'ṭabirواصطبروَٱصْطَبِرْand be patient.Lo! We are sending the she-camel as a test for them; so watch them and have patience;We are sending the she-camel as a test for them, so watch them [O Sālih] and be patient,Indeed, We are sending the she-camel as trial for them, so watch them and be patient.[1583]For We will send the she-camel by way of trial for them. So watch them, (O Salih), and possess thyself in patience! |
| 28 | وَنَبِّئْهُمْ أَنَّ ٱلْمَآءَ قِسْمَةُۢ بَيْنَهُمْۖ كُلُّ شِرْبٖ مُّحْتَضَرَwanabbi'humونبئهموَنَبِّئْهُمْAnd inform themannaأنأَنَّthatl-māaالماءٱلْمَآءَthe waterqis'matunقسمةقِسْمَةٌۢ(is) to be sharedbaynahumبينهمبَيْنَهُمْbetween them,kulluكلكُلُّeachshir'binشربشِرْبٍdrinkmuḥ'taḍarunمحتضرمُّحْتَضَرٌattended.And inform them that the water is to be shared between (her and) them. Every drinking will be witnessed.and tell them that the water is to be shared between them[10]; each should take its drink in turn.And inform them that the water is shared between them,[1584] each [day of] drink attended [by turn].And tell them that the water is to be divided between them: Each one's right to drink being brought forward (by suitable turns). |
| 29 | فَنَادَوْاْ صَاحِبَهُمْ فَتَعَاطَىٰ فَعَقَرَfanādawفنادوافَنَادَوْاْBut they calledṣāḥibahumصاحبهمصَاحِبَهُمْtheir companionfataʿāṭāفتعاطىفَتَعَاطَىٰand he tookfaʿaqaraفعقرفَعَقَرَand hamstrung.But they call their comrade and he took and hamstrung (her).But they called their companion[11], and he undertook the task[12] and hamstrung her.But they called their companion,[1585] and he dared[1586] and hamstrung [her].But they called to their companion, and he took a sword in hand, and hamstrung (her). |
| 30 | فَكَيْفَ كَانَ عَذَابِي وَنُذُرِfakayfaفكيففَكَيْفَSo howkānaكانكَانَwasʿadhābīعذابيعَذَابِىMy punishmentwanudhuriونذروَنُذُرِand My warnings.Then see how (dreadful) was My punishment after My warnings!Then how [terrible] My punishment and My warnings were!And how [severe] were My punishment and warning.Ah! how (terrible) was My Penalty and My Warning! |
| 31 | إِنَّآ أَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ صَيْحَةٗ وَٰحِدَةٗ فَكَانُواْ كَهَشِيمِ ٱلْمُحْتَظِرِinnāإناإِنَّآIndeed, Wearsalnāأرسلناأَرْسَلْنَا[We] sentʿalayhimعليهمعَلَيْهِمْupon themṣayḥatanصيحةصَيْحَةًthunderous blastwāḥidatanواحدةوَٰحِدَةًsingle,fakānūفكانوافَكَانُواْand they becamekahashīmiكهشيمكَهَشِيمِlike dry twig fragmentsl-muḥ'taẓiriالمحتظرٱلْمُحْتَظِرِ(used by) a fence builder.Lo! We sent upon them one Shout, and they became as the dry twigs (rejected by) the builder of a cattle-fold.We sent against them a single blast, leaving them like trampled hedge-building twigs[13].Indeed, We sent upon them one shriek [i.e., blast from the sky], and they became like the dry twig fragments of an [animal] pen.For We sent against them a single Mighty Blast, and they became like the dry stubble used by one who pens cattle. |
| 32 | وَلَقَدْ يَسَّرْنَا ٱلْقُرْءَانَ لِلذِّكْرِ فَهَلْ مِن مُّدَّكِرٖwalaqadولقدوَلَقَدْAnd certainlyyassarnāيسرنايَسَّرْنَاWe have made easyl-qur'ānaالقرآنٱلْقُرْءَانَthe Quranlildhik'riللذكرلِلذِّكْرِfor remembrance,fahalفهلفَهَلْso is (there)minمنمِنanymuddakirinمدكرمُّدَّكِرٍwho will receive admonition?And in truth We have made the Qur'an easy to remember; but is there any that remembereth?We have certainly made the Qur’an easy to understand and remember; is there anyone to take heed?And We have certainly made the Qur’ān easy for remembrance, so is there any who will remember?And We have indeed made the Qur'an easy to understand and remember: then is there any that will receive admonition? |
| 33 | كَذَّبَتْ قَوْمُ لُوطِۭ بِٱلنُّذُرِkadhabatكذبتكَذَّبَتْDeniedqawmuقومقَوْمُ(the) peoplelūṭinلوطلُوطٍۭ(of) Lut,bil-nudhuriبالنذربِٱلنُّذُرِthe warnings.The folk of Lot rejected warnings.The people of Lot rejected the warnings.The people of Lot denied the warning.The people of Lut rejected (his) warning. |
| 34 | إِنَّآ أَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ حَاصِبًا إِلَّآ ءَالَ لُوطٖۖ نَّجَّيْنَٰهُم بِسَحَرٖinnāإناإِنَّآIndeed, Wearsalnāأرسلناأَرْسَلْنَا[We] sentʿalayhimعليهمعَلَيْهِمْupon themḥāṣibanحاصباحَاصِبًاa storm of stones,illāإلاإِلَّآexceptālaآلءَالَ(the) familylūṭinلوطلُوطٍ(of) Lut,najjaynāhumنجيناهمنَّجَّيْنَٰهُمWe saved thembisaḥarinبسحربِسَحَرٍby dawnLo! We sent a storm of stones upon them (all) save the family of Lot, whom We rescued in the last watch of the night,We sent against them a storm of pebbles, except the family of Lot whom We saved before dawn,Indeed, We sent upon them a storm of stones, except the family of Lot - We saved them before dawn.We sent against them a violent Tornado with showers of stones, (which destroyed them), except Lut's household: them We delivered by early Dawn,- |
| 35 | نِّعْمَةٗ مِّنْ عِندِنَاۚ كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِي مَن شَكَرَniʿ'matanنعمةنِّعْمَةً(As) a favorminمنمِّنْfromʿindināعندناعِندِنَاUs.kadhālikaكذلككَذَٰلِكَThusnajzīنجزينَجْزِىWe rewardmanمنمَن(one) whoshakaraشكرشَكَرَ(is) grateful.As grace from Us. Thus We reward him who giveth thanks.as a blessing from Us. Thus do We reward those who give thanks.As favor from Us. Thus do We reward he who is grateful.As a Grace from Us: thus do We reward those who give thanks. |
| 36 | وَلَقَدْ أَنذَرَهُم بَطْشَتَنَا فَتَمَارَوْاْ بِٱلنُّذُرِwalaqadولقدوَلَقَدْAnd certainlyandharahumأنذرهمأَنذَرَهُمhe warned thembaṭshatanāبطشتنابَطْشَتَنَا(of) Our seizure,fatamārawفتماروافَتَمَارَوْاْbut they disputedbil-nudhuriبالنذربِٱلنُّذُرِthe warnings.And he indeed had warned them of Our blow, but they did doubt the warnings.He had already warned them of Our punishing assault, but they doubted the warnings.And he had already warned them of Our assault, but they disputed the warning.And (Lut) did warn them of Our Punishment, but they disputed about the Warning. |
| 37 | وَلَقَدْ رَٰوَدُوهُ عَن ضَيْفِهِۦ فَطَمَسْنَآ أَعْيُنَهُمْ فَذُوقُواْ عَذَابِي وَنُذُرِwalaqadولقدوَلَقَدْAnd certainlyrāwadūhuراودوهرَٰوَدُوهُthey demanded from himʿanعنعَنthey demanded from himḍayfihiضيفهضَيْفِهِۦhis guests,faṭamasnāفطمسنافَطَمَسْنَآso We blindedaʿyunahumأعينهمأَعْيُنَهُمْtheir eyes.fadhūqūفذوقوافَذُوقُواْ"So tasteʿadhābīعذابيعَذَابِىMy punishmentwanudhuriونذروَنُذُرِand My warnings."They even asked of him his guests for an ill purpose. Then We blinded their eyes (and said): Taste now My punishment after My warnings!They even demanded that he let them have their way with his angel-guests[14], so We blinded their eyes, [saying], “Taste My punishment and My warnings!”And they had demanded from him his guests, but We obliterated their eyes, [saying], "Taste My punishment and warning."And they even sought to snatch away his guests from him, but We blinded their eyes. (They heard:) "Now taste ye My Wrath and My Warning." |
| 38 | وَلَقَدْ صَبَّحَهُم بُكْرَةً عَذَابَ مُّسْتَقِرَّwalaqadولقدوَلَقَدْAnd certainlyṣabbaḥahumصبحهمصَبَّحَهُمseized them in the morningbuk'ratanبكرةبُكْرَةًearlyʿadhābunعذابعَذَابٌa punishmentmus'taqirrunمستقرمُّسْتَقِرٌّabiding.And in truth the punishment decreed befell them early in the morning.By the early morning a lasting torment overtook them.And there came upon them by morning an abiding punishment.Early on the morrow an abiding Punishment seized them: |
| 39 | فَذُوقُواْ عَذَابِي وَنُذُرِfadhūqūفذوقوافَذُوقُواْSo tasteʿadhābīعذابيعَذَابِىMy punishmentwanudhuriونذروَنُذُرِand My warnings.Now taste My punishment after My warnings!Taste My punishment and My warnings!So taste My punishment and warning."So taste ye My Wrath and My Warning." |
| 40 | وَلَقَدْ يَسَّرْنَا ٱلْقُرْءَانَ لِلذِّكْرِ فَهَلْ مِن مُّدَّكِرٖwalaqadولقدوَلَقَدْAnd certainlyyassarnāيسرنايَسَّرْنَاWe have made easyl-qur'ānaالقرآنٱلْقُرْءَانَthe Quranlildhik'riللذكرلِلذِّكْرِfor remembrance,fahalفهلفَهَلْso is (there)minمنمِنanymuddakirinمدكرمُّدَّكِرٍwho will receive admonition?And in truth We have made the Qur'an easy to remember; but is there any that remembereth?We have certainly made the Qur’an easy to understand and remember; is there anyone to take heed?And We have certainly made the Qur’ān easy for remembrance, so is there any who will remember?And We have indeed made the Qur'an easy to understand and remember: then is there any that will receive admonition? |
| 41 | وَلَقَدْ جَآءَ ءَالَ فِرْعَوْنَ ٱلنُّذُرُwalaqadولقدوَلَقَدْAnd certainlyjāaجاءجَآءَcameālaآلءَالَ(to the) peoplefir'ʿawnaفرعونفِرْعَوْنَ(of) Firaunl-nudhuruالنذرٱلنُّذُرُwarnings.And warnings came in truth unto the house of PharaohIndeed, warnings came to the people of Pharaoh.And there certainly came to the people of Pharaoh warning.To the People of Pharaoh, too, aforetime, came Warners (from Allah). |
| 42 | كَذَّبُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا كُلِّهَا فَأَخَذْنَٰهُمْ أَخْذَ عَزِيزٖ مُّقْتَدِرٍkadhabūكذبواكَذَّبُواْThey deniedbiāyātināبآياتنابِـَٔايَٰتِنَاOur Signs,kullihāكلهاكُلِّهَاall of them,fa-akhadhnāhumفأخذناهمفَأَخَذْنَٰهُمْso We seized themakhdhaأخذأَخْذَ(with) a seizureʿazīzinعزيزعَزِيزٍ(of) All-Mighty,muq'tadirinمقتدرمُّقْتَدِرٍ(the) Powerful One.Who denied Our revelations, every one. Therefore We grasped them with the grasp of the Mighty, the Powerful.But they rejected all of Our signs, so We seized them with the grip of the All-Mighty, Most Powerful.They denied Our signs, all of them, so We seized them with a seizure of one Exalted in Might and Perfect in Ability.The (people) rejected all Our Signs; but We seized them with such Penalty (as comes) from One Exalted in Power, able to carry out His Will. |
| 43 | أَكُفَّارُكُمْ خَيْرَ مِّنْ أُوْلَٰٓئِكُمْ أَمْ لَكُم بَرَآءَةَ فِي ٱلزُّبُرِakuffārukumأكفاركمأَكُفَّارُكُمْAre your disbelievers,khayrunخيرخَيْرٌbetterminمنمِّنْthanulāikumأولئكمأُوْلَٰٓئِكُمْthose,amأمأَمْorlakumلكملَكُمfor youbarāatunبراءةبَرَآءَةٌ(is) an exemptionfīفيفِىinl-zuburiالزبرٱلزُّبُرِthe Scriptures?Are your disbelievers better than those, or have ye some immunity in the scriptures?Are your disbelievers [O Makkans] superior to those[15] or have you been granted immunity in divine Scriptures?Are your disbelievers better than those [former ones], or have you immunity in the scriptures?Are your Unbelievers, (O Quraish), better than they? Or have ye an immunity in the Sacred Books? |
| 44 | أَمْ يَقُولُونَ نَحْنُ جَمِيعَ مُّنتَصِرَamأمأَمْOryaqūlūnaيقولونيَقُولُونَ(do) they say,naḥnuنحننَحْنُ"Wejamīʿunجميعجَمِيعٌ(are) an assemblymuntaṣirunمنتصرمُّنتَصِرٌhelping (each other)?"Or say they: We are a host victorious?Or do they say, “We are a united front, bound to prevail.”?Or do they say, "We are an assembly supporting [each other]"?Or do they say: "We acting together can defend ourselves"? |
| 45 | سَيُهْزَمُ ٱلْجَمْعُ وَيُوَلُّونَ ٱلدُّبُرَsayuh'zamuسيهزمسَيُهْزَمُSoon will be defeatedl-jamʿuالجمعٱلْجَمْعُ(their) assembly,wayuwallūnaويولونوَيُوَلُّونَand they will turnl-duburaالدبرٱلدُّبُرَ(their) backs.The hosts will all be routed and will turn and flee.Soon their united front will be defeated, and they will flee[16].[Their] assembly will be defeated, and they will turn their backs [in retreat].[1587]Soon will their multitude be put to flight, and they will show their backs. |
| 46 | بَلِ ٱلسَّاعَةُ مَوْعِدُهُمْ وَٱلسَّاعَةُ أَدْهَىٰ وَأَمَرُّbaliبلبَلِNay,l-sāʿatuالساعةٱلسَّاعَةُthe Hourmawʿiduhumموعدهممَوْعِدُهُمْ(is) their promised time,wal-sāʿatuوالساعةوَٱلسَّاعَةُand the Houradhāأدهىأَدْهَىٰ(will be) more grievouswa-amarruوأمروَأَمَرُّand more bitter.Nay, but the Hour (of doom) is their appointed tryst, and the Hour will be more wretched and more bitter (than their earthly failure).But the Hour is their appointed time, and the Hour is more catastrophic and more bitter.But the Hour is their appointment [for due punishment], and the Hour is more disastrous and more bitter.Nay, the Hour (of Judgment) is the time promised them (for their full recompense): And that Hour will be most grievous and most bitter. |
| 47 | إِنَّ ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ فِي ضَلَٰلٖ وَسُعُرٖinnaإنإِنَّIndeed,l-muj'rimīnaالمجرمينٱلْمُجْرِمِينَthe criminalsfīفيفِى(are) inḍalālinضلالضَلَٰلٍan errorwasuʿurinوسعروَسُعُرٍand madness.Lo! the guilty are in error and madness.Indeed, the wicked are in error and blazes[17].Indeed, the criminals are in error and madness.[1588].Truly those in sin are the ones straying in mind, and mad. |
| 48 | يَوْمَ يُسْحَبُونَ فِي ٱلنَّارِ عَلَىٰ وُجُوهِهِمْ ذُوقُواْ مَسَّ سَقَرَyawmaيوميَوْمَ(The) Dayyus'ḥabūnaيسحبونيُسْحَبُونَthey will be draggedfīفيفِىintol-nāriالنارٱلنَّارِthe Fireʿalāعلىعَلَىٰonwujūhihimوجوههموُجُوهِهِمْtheir faces,dhūqūذوقواذُوقُواْ"Tastemassaمسمَسَّ(the) touchsaqaraسقرسَقَرَ(of) Hell."On the day when they are dragged into the Fire upon their faces (it is said unto them): Feel the touch of hell.On the Day when they will be dragged into the Fire on their faces, [they will be told], “Taste the agony of Hell[18]!”The Day they are dragged into the Fire on their faces [it will be said], "Taste the touch of Saqar."[1589]The Day they will be dragged through the Fire on their faces, (they will hear:) "Taste ye the touch of Hell!" |
| 49 | إِنَّا كُلَّ شَيْءٍ خَلَقْنَٰهُ بِقَدَرٖinnāإناإِنَّاIndeed, [We]kullaكلكُلَّeveryshayinشيءشَىْءٍthingkhalaqnāhuخلقناهخَلَقْنَٰهُWe created itbiqadarinبقدربِقَدَرٍby a measure.Lo! We have created every thing by measure.We have surely created everything in a determined measure[19].Indeed, all things We created with predestination.Verily, all things have We created in proportion and measure. |
| 50 | وَمَآ أَمْرُنَآ إِلَّا وَٰحِدَةَ كَلَمْحِۭ بِٱلْبَصَرِwamāوماوَمَآAnd notamrunāأمرناأَمْرُنَآ(is) Our Commandillāإلاإِلَّاbutwāḥidatunواحدةوَٰحِدَةٌone,kalamḥinكلمحكَلَمْحٍۭlike the twinklingbil-baṣariبالبصربِٱلْبَصَرِ(of) the eye.And Our commandment is but one (commandment), as the twinkling of an eye.Our command is but a single word[20], which is fulfilled in the blink of an eye.And Our command is but one, like a glance of the eye.And Our Command is but a single (Act),- like the twinkling of an eye. |
| 51 | وَلَقَدْ أَهْلَكْنَآ أَشْيَاعَكُمْ فَهَلْ مِن مُّدَّكِرٖwalaqadولقدوَلَقَدْAnd certainlyahlaknāأهلكناأَهْلَكْنَآWe destroyedashyāʿakumأشياعكمأَشْيَاعَكُمْyour kinds,fahalفهلفَهَلْso is (there)minمنمِنanymuddakirinمدكرمُّدَّكِرٍwho will receive admonition?And verily We have destroyed your fellows; but is there any that remembereth?We have destroyed many like you [O Makkans][21]; is there anyone to take heed?And We have already destroyed your kinds,[1590] so is there any who will remember?And (oft) in the past, have We destroyed gangs like unto you: then is there any that will receive admonition? |
| 52 | وَكُلُّ شَيْءٖ فَعَلُوهُ فِي ٱلزُّبُرِwakulluوكلوَكُلُّAnd everyshayinشيءشَىْءٍthingfaʿalūhuفعلوهفَعَلُوهُthey didfīفيفِى(is) inl-zuburiالزبرٱلزُّبُرِthe written records.And every thing they did is in the scriptures,Everything they did is in the written records,And everything they did is in written records.All that they do is noted in (their) Books (of Deeds): |
| 53 | وَكُلُّ صَغِيرٖ وَكَبِيرٖ مُّسْتَطَرٌwakulluوكلوَكُلُّAnd everyṣaghīrinصغيرصَغِيرٍsmallwakabīrinوكبيروَكَبِيرٍand bigmus'taṭarunمستطرمُّسْتَطَرٌ(is) written down.And every small and great thing is recorded.and everything, small or big, is written down.And every small and great [thing] is inscribed.Every matter, small and great, is on record. |
| 54 | إِنَّ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ فِي جَنَّٰتٖ وَنَهَرٖinnaإنإِنَّIndeed,l-mutaqīnaالمتقينٱلْمُتَّقِينَthe righteousfīفيفِى(will be) injannātinجناتجَنَّٰتٍgardenswanaharinونهروَنَهَرٍand river,Lo! the righteous will dwell among gardens and rivers,Indeed, the righteous will be in gardens and rivers[22],Indeed, the righteous will be among gardens and rivers,As to the Righteous, they will be in the midst of Gardens and Rivers, |
| 55 | فِي مَقْعَدِ صِدْقٍ عِندَ مَلِيكٖ مُّقْتَدِرِۭfīفيفِىInmaqʿadiمقعدمَقْعَدِa seatṣid'qinصدقصِدْقٍ(of) honorʿindaعندعِندَnearmalīkinمليكمَلِيكٍa Kingmuq'tadirinمقتدرمُّقْتَدِرٍۭMost Powerful.Firmly established in the favour of a Mighty King.seated in honor in the presence of the Most Powerful Sovereign.In a seat of honor near a Sovereign, Perfect in Ability.[1591]In an Assembly of Truth, in the Presence of a Sovereign Omnipotent. |

ﲳ ﲴ ﲵ ﲶ ﲷ ﲸ ﲹ ﲺ ﲻ ﲼﲽ ﲾ ﲿ
ﳀ ﳁ ﳂ ﳃﳄ ﳅ ﳆ ﳇ ﳈ ﳉ ﳊ ﳋ
ﱁ ﱂ ﱃ ﱄ ﱅ ﱆ ﱇ ﱈ ﱉ
ﱊ ﱋ ﱌﱍ ﱎ ﱏ ﱐ ﱑ ﱒ ﱓ ﱔ ﱕ
ﱖ ﱗ ﱘ ﱙ ﱚ ﱛ ﱜ ﱝ ﱞ ﱟ
ﱠ ﱡ ﱢ ﱣ ﱤ ﱥ ﱦ ﱧ ﱨ ﱩ
ﱪ ﱫ ﱬ ﱭ ﱮ ﱯ ﱰ ﱱ ﱲ ﱳ ﱴ
ﱵ ﱶ ﱷ ﱸ ﱹ ﱺ ﱻ ﱼ ﱽ ﱾ ﱿ
ﲀ ﲁ ﲂ ﲃ ﲄ ﲅ ﲆ ﲇ ﲈ ﲉ ﲊ
ﲋ ﲌ ﲍ ﲎ ﲏ ﲐ ﲑ ﲒ ﲓ ﲔ ﲕ

ﱡ ﱢ ﱣ ﱤ ﱥ ﱦ ﱧ ﱨ ﱩ ﱪ ﱫ ﱬ
ﱭ ﱮ ﱯ ﱰ ﱱﱲ ﱳ ﱴ ﱵ ﱶ ﱷ ﱸﱹ
ﱺ ﱻ ﱼ ﱽ ﱾ ﱿ ﲀ ﲁ ﲂ ﲃ
ﲄ ﲅ ﲆ ﲇ ﲈ ﲉ ﲊ ﲋ ﲌ
ﲍ ﲎ ﲏ ﲐ ﲑ ﲒ ﲓ ﲔ ﲕ
ﲖ ﲗ ﲘ ﲙ ﲚ ﲛ ﲜ ﲝ ﲞ ﲟ ﲠ
ﲡ ﲢ ﲣ ﲤ ﲥ ﲦ ﲧ ﲨ ﲩ ﲪ
ﲫ ﲬ ﲭ ﲮ ﲯ ﲰ ﲱ ﲲ ﲳ ﲴ ﲵ
ﲶ ﲷ ﲸ ﲹ ﲺ ﲻ ﲼ ﲽ ﲾ ﲿ ﳀ

ﳋ ﳌ ﳍ ﳎ ﳏ ﳐ ﳑ ﳒ ﳓ ﳔ ﳕ
ﳖ ﳗ ﳘ ﳙ ﳚ ﳛ ﳜ ﳝ ﳞ ﳟ ﳠ
ﱁ ﱂ ﱃ ﱄ ﱅ ﱆ ﱇ ﱈ ﱉ
ﱊ ﱋ ﱌ ﱍ ﱎ ﱏ ﱐ ﱑ ﱒ ﱓ
ﱔ ﱕ ﱖ ﱗ ﱘ ﱙ ﱚ ﱛ
ﱜ ﱝ ﱞ ﱟ ﱠ ﱡ ﱢ ﱣ ﱤ ﱥ ﱦ
اقْتَرَبَتِ السَّاعَةُ وَانشَقَّ الْقَمَرُ ١ وَإِن يَرَوْا آيَةً يُعْرِضُوا وَيَقُولُوا
سِحْرٌ مُّسْتَمِرٌّ ٢ وَكَذَّبُوا وَاتَّبَعُوا أَهْوَاءَهُمْ وَكُلُّ أَمْرٍ مُّسْتَقِرٌّ ٣
وَلَقَدْ جَاءَهُم مِّنَ الْأَنبَاءِ مَا فِيهِ مُزْدَجَرٌ ٤ حِكْمَةٌ بَالِغَةٌ فَمَا تُغْنِ
النُّذُرُ ٥ فَتَوَلَّ عَنْهُمْ يَوْمَ يَدْعُ الدَّاعِ إِلَىٰ شَيْءٍ نُّكُرٍ ٦
خُشَّعًا أَبْصَارُهُمْ يَخْرُجُونَ مِنَ الْأَجْدَاثِ كَأَنَّهُمْ جَرَادٌ مُّنتَشِرٌ ٧
مُّهْطِعِينَ إِلَى الدَّاعِ يَقُولُ الْكَافِرُونَ هَٰذَا يَوْمٌ عَسِرٌ ٨ ۞
كَذَّبَتْ قَبْلَهُمْ قَوْمُ نُوحٍ فَكَذَّبُوا عَبْدَنَا وَقَالُوا مَجْنُونٌ وَازْدُجِرَ ٩ فَدَعَا
رَبَّهُ أَنِّي مَغْلُوبٌ فَانتَصِرْ ١٠ فَفَتَحْنَا أَبْوَابَ السَّمَاءِ بِمَاءٍ مُّنْهَمِرٍ
١١ وَفَجَّرْنَا الْأَرْضَ عُيُونًا فَالْتَقَى الْمَاءُ عَلَىٰ أَمْرٍ قَدْ قُدِرَ ١٢
وَحَمَلْنَاهُ عَلَىٰ ذَاتِ أَلْوَاحٍ وَدُسُرٍ ١٣ تَجْرِي بِأَعْيُنِنَا جَزَاءً لِّمَن كَانَ
كُفِرَ ١٤ وَلَقَد تَّرَكْنَاهَا آيَةً فَهَلْ مِن مُّدَّكِرٍ ١٥ فَكَيْفَ كَانَ
عَذَابِي وَنُذُرِ ١٦ وَلَقَدْ يَسَّرْنَا الْقُرْآنَ لِلذِّكْرِ فَهَلْ مِن مُّدَّكِرٍ ١٧
كَذَّبَتْ عَادٌ فَكَيْفَ كَانَ عَذَابِي وَنُذُرِ ١٨ إِنَّا أَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ رِيحًا
صَرْصَرًا فِي يَوْمِ نَحْسٍ مُّسْتَمِرٍّ ١٩ تَنزِعُ النَّاسَ كَأَنَّهُمْ أَعْجَازُ نَخْلٍ
مُّنقَعِرٍ ٢٠ فَكَيْفَ كَانَ عَذَابِي وَنُذُرِ ٢١ وَلَقَدْ يَسَّرْنَا الْقُرْآنَ
لِلذِّكْرِ فَهَلْ مِن مُّدَّكِرٍ ٢٢ كَذَّبَتْ ثَمُودُ بِالنُّذُرِ ٢٣ فَقَالُوا أَبَشَرًا
مِّنَّا وَاحِدًا نَّتَّبِعُهُ إِنَّا إِذًا لَّفِي ضَلَالٍ وَسُعُرٍ ٢٤ أَأُلْقِيَ الذِّكْرُ عَلَيْهِ
مِن بَيْنِنَا بَلْ هُوَ كَذَّابٌ أَشِرٌ ٢٥ سَيَعْلَمُونَ غَدًا مَّنِ الْكَذَّابُ الْأَشِرُ
٢٦ إِنَّا مُرْسِلُو النَّاقَةِ فِتْنَةً لَّهُمْ فَارْتَقِبْهُمْ وَاصْطَبِرْ ٢٧
وَنَبِّئْهُمْ أَنَّ الْمَاءَ قِسْمَةٌ بَيْنَهُمْ كُلُّ شِرْبٍ مُّحْتَضَرٌ ٢٨ فَنَادَوْا صَاحِبَهُمْ
فَتَعَاطَىٰ فَعَقَرَ ٢٩ فَكَيْفَ كَانَ عَذَابِي وَنُذُرِ ٣٠ إِنَّا أَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ
صَيْحَةً وَاحِدَةً فَكَانُوا كَهَشِيمِ الْمُحْتَظِرِ ٣١ وَلَقَدْ يَسَّرْنَا الْقُرْآنَ
لِلذِّكْرِ فَهَلْ مِن مُّدَّكِرٍ ٣٢ كَذَّبَتْ قَوْمُ لُوطٍ بِالنُّذُرِ ٣٣ إِنَّا أَرْسَلْنَا
عَلَيْهِمْ حَاصِبًا إِلَّا آلَ لُوطٍ نَّجَّيْنَاهُم بِسَحَرٍ ٣٤ نِّعْمَةً مِّنْ عِندِنَا
كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِي مَن شَكَرَ ٣٥ وَلَقَدْ أَنذَرَهُم بَطْشَتَنَا فَتَمَارَوْا بِالنُّذُرِ
٣٦ وَلَقَدْ رَاوَدُوهُ عَن ضَيْفِهِ فَطَمَسْنَا أَعْيُنَهُمْ فَذُوقُوا عَذَابِي
وَنُذُرِ ٣٧ وَلَقَدْ صَبَّحَهُم بُكْرَةً عَذَابٌ مُّسْتَقِرٌّ ٣٨ فَذُوقُوا
عَذَابِي وَنُذُرِ ٣٩ وَلَقَدْ يَسَّرْنَا الْقُرْآنَ لِلذِّكْرِ فَهَلْ مِن مُّدَّكِرٍ ٤٠
وَلَقَدْ جَاءَ آلَ فِرْعَوْنَ النُّذُرُ ٤١ كَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِنَا كُلِّهَا فَأَخَذْنَاهُمْ
أَخْذَ عَزِيزٍ مُّقْتَدِرٍ ٤٢ أَكُفَّارُكُمْ خَيْرٌ مِّنْ أُولَٰئِكُمْ أَمْ لَكُم بَرَاءَةٌ
فِي الزُّبُرِ ٤٣ أَمْ يَقُولُونَ نَحْنُ جَمِيعٌ مُّنتَصِرٌ ٤٤ سَيُهْزَمُ الْجَمْعُ
وَيُوَلُّونَ الدُّبُرَ ٤٥ بَلِ السَّاعَةُ مَوْعِدُهُمْ وَالسَّاعَةُ أَدْهَىٰ وَأَمَرُّ ٤٦
إِنَّ الْمُجْرِمِينَ فِي ضَلَالٍ وَسُعُرٍ ٤٧ يَوْمَ يُسْحَبُونَ فِي النَّارِ عَلَىٰ
وُجُوهِهِمْ ذُوقُوا مَسَّ سَقَرَ ٤٨ إِنَّا كُلَّ شَيْءٍ خَلَقْنَاهُ بِقَدَرٍ ٤٩
وَمَا أَمْرُنَا إِلَّا وَاحِدَةٌ كَلَمْحٍ بِالْبَصَرِ ٥٠ وَلَقَدْ أَهْلَكْنَا
أَشْيَاعَكُمْ فَهَلْ مِن مُّدَّكِرٍ ٥١ وَكُلُّ شَيْءٍ فَعَلُوهُ فِي الزُّبُرِ
٥٢ وَكُلُّ صَغِيرٍ وَكَبِيرٍ مُّسْتَطَرٌ ٥٣ إِنَّ الْمُتَّقِينَ
فِي جَنَّاتٍ وَنَهَرٍ ٥٤ فِي مَقْعَدِ صِدْقٍ عِندَ مَلِيكٍ مُّقْتَدِرٍ ٥٥
ٱقْتَرَبَتِ ٱلسَّاعَةُ وَٱنشَقَّ ٱلْقَمَرُ ١ وَإِن يَرَوْاْ ءَايَةٗ يُعْرِضُواْ وَيَقُولُواْ
سِحْرَ مُّسْتَمِرَّ ٢ وَكَذَّبُواْ وَٱتَّبَعُوٓاْ أَهْوَآءَهُمْۚ وَكُلُّ أَمْرٖ مُّسْتَقِرَّ ٣
وَلَقَدْ جَآءَهُم مِّنَ ٱلْأَنۢبَآءِ مَا فِيهِ مُزْدَجَرٌ ٤ حِكْمَةُۢ بَٰلِغَةَۖ فَمَا تُغْنِ
ٱلنُّذُرُ ٥ فَتَوَلَّ عَنْهُمْۘ يَوْمَ يَدْعُ ٱلدَّاعِ إِلَىٰ شَيْءٖ نُّكُرٍ ٦
خُشَّعًا أَبْصَٰرُهُمْ يَخْرُجُونَ مِنَ ٱلْأَجْدَاثِ كَأَنَّهُمْ جَرَادَ مُّنتَشِرَ ٧
مُّهْطِعِينَ إِلَى ٱلدَّاعِۖ يَقُولُ ٱلْكَٰفِرُونَ هَٰذَا يَوْمٌ عَسِرَ ٨ كَذَّبَتْ
قَبْلَهُمْ قَوْمُ نُوحٖ فَكَذَّبُواْ عَبْدَنَا وَقَالُواْ مَجْنُونَ وَٱزْدُجِرَ ٩ فَدَعَا
رَبَّهُٓ أَنِّي مَغْلُوبَ فَٱنتَصِرْ ١٠ فَفَتَحْنَآ أَبْوَٰبَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ بِمَآءٖ مُّنْهَمِرٖ
١١ وَفَجَّرْنَا ٱلْأَرْضَ عُيُونٗا فَٱلْتَقَى ٱلْمَآءُ عَلَىٰٓ أَمْرٖ قَدْ قُدِرَ ١٢
وَحَمَلْنَٰهُ عَلَىٰ ذَاتِ أَلْوَٰحٖ وَدُسُرٖ ١٣ تَجْرِي بِأَعْيُنِنَا جَزَآءٗ لِّمَن كَانَ
كُفِرَ ١٤ وَلَقَد تَّرَكْنَٰهَآ ءَايَةٗ فَهَلْ مِن مُّدَّكِرٖ ١٥ فَكَيْفَ كَانَ
عَذَابِي وَنُذُرِ ١٦ وَلَقَدْ يَسَّرْنَا ٱلْقُرْءَانَ لِلذِّكْرِ فَهَلْ مِن مُّدَّكِرٖ ١٧
كَذَّبَتْ عَادَ فَكَيْفَ كَانَ عَذَابِي وَنُذُرِ ١٨ إِنَّآ أَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ رِيحٗا
صَرْصَرٗا فِي يَوْمِ نَحْسٖ مُّسْتَمِرّٖ ١٩ تَنزِعُ ٱلنَّاسَ كَأَنَّهُمْ أَعْجَازُ نَخْلٖ
مُّنقَعِرٖ ٢٠ فَكَيْفَ كَانَ عَذَابِي وَنُذُرِ ٢١ وَلَقَدْ يَسَّرْنَا ٱلْقُرْءَانَ
لِلذِّكْرِ فَهَلْ مِن مُّدَّكِرٖ ٢٢ كَذَّبَتْ ثَمُودُ بِٱلنُّذُرِ ٢٣ فَقَالُوٓاْ أَبَشَرٗا
مِّنَّا وَٰحِدٗا نَّتَّبِعُهُٓ إِنَّآ إِذٗا لَّفِي ضَلَٰلٖ وَسُعُرٍ ٢٤ أَءُلْقِيَ ٱلذِّكْرُ عَلَيْهِ
مِنۢ بَيْنِنَا بَلْ هُوَ كَذَّابٌ أَشِرَ ٢٥ سَيَعْلَمُونَ غَدٗا مَّنِ ٱلْكَذَّابُ ٱلْأَشِرُ
٢٦ إِنَّا مُرْسِلُواْ ٱلنَّاقَةِ فِتْنَةٗ لَّهُمْ فَٱرْتَقِبْهُمْ وَٱصْطَبِرْ ٢٧
وَنَبِّئْهُمْ أَنَّ ٱلْمَآءَ قِسْمَةُۢ بَيْنَهُمْۖ كُلُّ شِرْبٖ مُّحْتَضَرَ ٢٨ فَنَادَوْاْ صَاحِبَهُمْ

عَلَيْهِمْ حَاصِبًا إِلَّآ ءَالَ لُوطٖۖ نَّجَّيْنَٰهُم بِسَحَرٖ ٣٤ نِّعْمَةٗ مِّنْ عِندِنَاۚ
كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِي مَن شَكَرَ ٣٥ وَلَقَدْ أَنذَرَهُم بَطْشَتَنَا فَتَمَارَوْاْ بِٱلنُّذُرِ

وَلَقَدْ جَآءَ ءَالَ فِرْعَوْنَ ٱلنُّذُرُ ٤١ كَذَّبُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا كُلِّهَا فَأَخَذْنَٰهُمْ
أَخْذَ عَزِيزٖ مُّقْتَدِرٍ ٤٢ أَكُفَّارُكُمْ خَيْرَ مِّنْ أُوْلَٰٓئِكُمْ أَمْ لَكُم بَرَآءَةَ
فِي ٱلزُّبُرِ ٤٣ أَمْ يَقُولُونَ نَحْنُ جَمِيعَ مُّنتَصِرَ ٤٤ سَيُهْزَمُ ٱلْجَمْعُ
وَيُوَلُّونَ ٱلدُّبُرَ ٤٥ بَلِ ٱلسَّاعَةُ مَوْعِدُهُمْ وَٱلسَّاعَةُ أَدْهَىٰ وَأَمَرُّ ٤٦
إِنَّ ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ فِي ضَلَٰلٖ وَسُعُرٖ ٤٧ يَوْمَ يُسْحَبُونَ فِي ٱلنَّارِ عَلَىٰ

أَشْيَاعَكُمْ فَهَلْ مِن مُّدَّكِرٖ ٥١ وَكُلُّ شَيْءٖ فَعَلُوهُ فِي ٱلزُّبُرِ
٥٢ وَكُلُّ صَغِيرٖ وَكَبِيرٖ مُّسْتَطَرٌ ٥٣ إِنَّ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ
فِي جَنَّٰتٖ وَنَهَرٖ ٥٤ فِي مَقْعَدِ صِدْقٍ عِندَ مَلِيكٖ مُّقْتَدِرِۭ ٥٥
ﲞ ﲟ ﲠ ﲡ ﲢ ﲣ ﲤ ﲥ ﲦ ﲧ
ﲨ ﲩ ﲪ ﲫ ﲬ ﲭﲮ ﲯ ﲰ ﲱ ﲲ
ﲳ ﲴ ﲵ ﲶ ﲷ ﲸ ﲹ ﲺ ﲻ ﲼﲽ ﲾ ﲿ
ﳀ ﳁ ﳂ ﳃﳄ ﳅ ﳆ ﳇ ﳈ ﳉ ﳊ ﳋ
ﱁ ﱂ ﱃ ﱄ ﱅ ﱆ ﱇ ﱈ ﱉ
ﱊ ﱋ ﱌﱍ ﱎ ﱏ ﱐ ﱑ ﱒ ﱓ ﱔ ﱕ
ﱖ ﱗ ﱘ ﱙ ﱚ ﱛ ﱜ ﱝ ﱞ ﱟ
ﱠ ﱡ ﱢ ﱣ ﱤ ﱥ ﱦ ﱧ ﱨ ﱩ ﱪ
ﱫ ﱬ ﱭ ﱮ ﱯ ﱰ ﱱ ﱲ ﱳ ﱴ
ﱵ ﱶ ﱷ ﱸ ﱹ ﱺ ﱻ ﱼ ﱽ ﱾ ﱿ
ﲀ ﲁ ﲂ ﲃ ﲄ ﲅ ﲆ ﲇ ﲈ ﲉ ﲊ
ﲋ ﲌ ﲍ ﲎ ﲏ ﲐ ﲑ ﲒ ﲓ ﲔ ﲕ
ﲖ ﲗ ﲘ ﲙ ﲚ ﲛ ﲜ ﲝ ﲞ ﲟ ﲠ
ﲡ ﲢ ﲣ ﲤ ﲥ ﲦ ﲧ ﲨ ﲩ ﲪ ﲫ

ﱍ ﱎ ﱏ ﱐ ﱑ ﱒ ﱓ ﱔ ﱕ ﱖ ﱗ
ﱘ ﱙ ﱚ ﱛ ﱜ ﱝ ﱞ ﱟ ﱠ
ﱡ ﱢ ﱣ ﱤ ﱥ ﱦ ﱧ ﱨ ﱩ ﱪ ﱫ ﱬ
ﱭ ﱮ ﱯ ﱰ ﱱﱲ ﱳ ﱴ ﱵ ﱶ ﱷ ﱸﱹ
ﱺ ﱻ ﱼ ﱽ ﱾ ﱿ ﲀ ﲁ ﲂ
ﲃ ﲄ ﲅ ﲆ ﲇ ﲈ ﲉ ﲊ ﲋ
