The Striking Calamity
1 ٱلۡقَارِعَةُal-qāriʿatuالقارعةٱلْقَارِعَةُThe Striking Calamity!The Calamity!The Striking Calamity!The Striking Calamity -The (Day) of Noise and Clamour:
2 مَا ٱلۡقَارِعَةُmāمامَاWhatl-qāriʿatuالقارعةٱلْقَارِعَةُ(is) the Striking Calamity?What is the Calamity?What is the Striking Calamity?What is the Striking Calamity?What is the (Day) of Noise and Clamour?
3 وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلۡقَارِعَةُwamāوماوَمَآAnd whatadrākaأدراكأَدْرَىٰكَwill make you knowmāمامَاwhatl-qāriʿatuالقارعةٱلْقَارِعَةُ(is) the Striking Calamity?Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Calamity is!How do you know what the Striking Calamity is?And what can make you know what is the Striking Calamity?And what will explain to thee what the (Day) of Noise and Clamour is?
4 يَوۡمَ يَكُونُ ٱلنَّاسُ كَٱلۡفَرَاشِ ٱلۡمَبۡثُوثِyawmaيوميَوْمَ(The) Dayyakūnuيكونيَكُونُwill bel-nāsuالناسٱلنَّاسُthe mankindkal-farāshiكالفراشكَٱلْفَرَاشِlike moths,l-mabthūthiالمبثوثٱلْمَبْثُوثِscattered,A day wherein mankind will be as thickly-scattered mothsOn that Day people will be like scattered moths[1],It is the Day when people will be like moths, dispersed,[1975](It is) a Day whereon men will be like moths scattered about,
5 وَتَكُونُ ٱلۡجِبَالُ كَٱلۡعِهۡنِ ٱلۡمَنفُوشِwatakūnuوتكونوَتَكُونُAnd will bel-jibāluالجبالٱلْجِبَالُthe mountainskal-ʿih'niكالعهنكَٱلْعِهْنِlike wool,l-manfūshiالمنفوشٱلْمَنفُوشِfluffed up.And the mountains will become as carded wool.and the mountains will be like carded wool[2].And the mountains will be like wool, fluffed up.[1976]And the mountains will be like carded wool.
6 فَأَمَّا مَن ثَقُلَتۡ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥfa-ammāفأمافَأَمَّاThen as formanمنمَن(him) whosethaqulatثقلتثَقُلَتْ(are) heavymawāzīnuhuموازينهمَوَٰزِينُهُۥhis scales,Then, as for him whose scales are heavy (with good works),Then the one whose scales of good deeds are heavy,Then as for one whose scales are heavy [with good deeds],Then, he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) heavy,
7 فَهُوَ فِي عِيشَةٖ رَّاضِيَةٖfahuwaفهوفَهُوَThen hefīفيفِى(will be) inʿīshatinعيشةعِيشَةٍa life,rāḍiyatinراضيةرَّاضِيَةٍpleasant.He will live a pleasant life.will have a pleasant life[3].He will be in a pleasant life.Will be in a life of good pleasure and satisfaction.
8 وَأَمَّا مَنۡ خَفَّتۡ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥwa-ammāوأماوَأَمَّاBut as formanمنمَنْ(him) whosekhaffatخفتخَفَّتْ(are) lightmawāzīnuhuموازينهمَوَٰزِينُهُۥhis scales,But as for him whose scales are light,But the one whose scales of good deeds are light,But as for one whose scales are light,But he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) light,-
9 فَأُمُّهُۥ هَاوِيَةٞfa-ummuhuفأمهفَأُمُّهُۥHis abodehāwiyatunهاويةهَاوِيَةٌ(will be the) Pit.A bereft and Hungry One will be his mother,his abode will be the abyss[4].His refuge[1977] will be an abyss.[1978]Will have his home in a (bottomless) Pit.
10 وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا هِيَهۡwamāوماوَمَآAnd whatadrākaأدراكأَدْرَىٰكَwill make you knowmāمامَاwhathiyahهيههِيَهْit is?Ah, what will convey unto thee what she is! -And how do you know what it is?And what can make you know what that is?And what will explain to thee what this is?
11 نَارٌ حَامِيَةُۢnārunنارنَارٌA Fire,ḥāmiyatunحاميةحَامِيَةٌۢintensely hot.Raging Fire.It is a Blazing Fire.It is a Fire, intensely hot.(It is) a Fire Blazing fiercely!

2 مَا الْقَارِعَةُ
3 وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا الْقَارِعَةُ
4 يَوْمَ يَكُونُ النَّاسُ كَالْفَرَاشِ الْمَبْثُوثِ
5 وَتَكُونُ الْجِبَالُ كَالْعِهْنِ الْمَنفُوشِ
6 فَأَمَّا مَن ثَقُلَتْ مَوَازِينُهُ
7 فَهُوَ فِي عِيشَةٍ رَّاضِيَةٍ
8 وَأَمَّا مَنْ خَفَّتْ مَوَازِينُهُ
9 فَأُمُّهُ هَاوِيَةٌ
10 وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا هِيَهْ
11 نَارٌ حَامِيَةٌ

ﱳ ﱮ ﱯ ﱰ ﱱ ﱲ
ﱸ ﱴ ﱵ ﱶ ﱷ
ﱽ ﱹ ﱺ ﱻ ﱼ
ﲂ ﱾ ﱿ ﲀ ﲁ
ﲇ ﲃ ﲄ ﲅ ﲆ
ﲊ ﲈ ﲉ
ﲏ ﲋ ﲌ ﲍ ﲎ
ﲒ ﲐ ﲑ
ﱤ ﱥ ﱦ ﱧ ﱨ ﱩ ﱪ ﱫ ﱬ ﱭ ﱮ
ﱯ ﱰ ﱱ ﱲ ﱳ ﱴ ﱵ
ﱶ ﱷ ﱸ ﱹ ﱺ ﱻ ﱼ ﱽ ﱾ ﱿ
ﲀ ﲁ ﲂ ﲃ ﲄ ﲅ ﲆ ﲇ ﲈ ﲉ
ﲊ ﲋ ﲌ ﲍ ﲎ ﲏ ﲐ ﲑ ﲒ
الْقَارِعَةُ ١ مَا الْقَارِعَةُ ٢ وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا الْقَارِعَةُ ٣ يَوْمَ
يَكُونُ النَّاسُ كَالْفَرَاشِ الْمَبْثُوثِ ٤ وَتَكُونُ الْجِبَالُ
كَالْعِهْنِ الْمَنفُوشِ ٥ فَأَمَّا مَن ثَقُلَتْ مَوَازِينُهُ ٦ فَهُوَ فِي
عِيشَةٍ رَّاضِيَةٍ ٧ وَأَمَّا مَنْ خَفَّتْ مَوَازِينُهُ ٨ فَأُمُّهُ هَاوِيَةٌ
٩ وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا هِيَهْ ١٠ نَارٌ حَامِيَةٌ ١١
ٱلْقَارِعَةُ ۝١ مَا ٱلْقَارِعَةُ ۝٢ وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلْقَارِعَةُ ۝٣ يَوْمَ
يَكُونُ ٱلنَّاسُ كَٱلْفَرَاشِ ٱلْمَبْثُوثِ ۝٤ وَتَكُونُ ٱلْجِبَالُ
كَٱلْعِهْنِ ٱلْمَنفُوشِ ۝٥ فَأَمَّا مَن ثَقُلَتْ مَوَٰزِينُهُ ۝٦ فَهُوَ فِي
عِيشَةٖ رَّاضِيَةٖ ۝٧ وَأَمَّا مَنْ خَفَّتْ مَوَٰزِينُهُ ۝٨ فَأُمُّهُ هَاوِيَةَ
۝٩ وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا هِيَهْ ۝١٠ نَارٌ حَامِيَةُۢ ۝١١
ﱤ ﱥ ﱦ ﱧ ﱨ ﱩ ﱪ ﱫ ﱬ ﱭ ﱮ
ﱯ ﱰ ﱱ ﱲ ﱳ ﱴ ﱵ ﱶ
ﱷ ﱸ ﱹ ﱺ ﱻ ﱼ ﱽ ﱾ ﱿ ﲀ
ﲁ ﲂ ﲃ ﲄ ﲅ ﲆ ﲇ ﲈ ﲉ ﲊ
