Yā-Sīn

1 يسٓya-seenيسيسٓYa Seen.Ya Sin.Yā Sīn[1]Yā, Seen.[1260]Ya Sin.
2 وَٱلۡقُرۡءَانِ ٱلۡحَكِيمِwal-qur'āniوالقرآنوَٱلْقُرْءَانِBy the Quranl-ḥakīmiالحكيمٱلْحَكِيمِthe Wise.By the wise Qur'an,By the Qur’an, full of wisdom,By the wise[1261] Qur’ān,By the Qur'an, full of Wisdom,-
3 إِنَّكَ لَمِنَ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَinnakaإنكإِنَّكَIndeed, youlaminaلمنلَمِنَ(are) amongl-mur'salīnaالمرسلينٱلْمُرْسَلِينَthe Messengers,Lo! thou art of those sentYou [O Muhammad] are indeed one of the messengers,Indeed you, [O Muḥammad], are from among the messengers,Thou art indeed one of the messengers,
4 عَلَىٰ صِرَٰطٖ مُّسۡتَقِيمٖʿalāعلىعَلَىٰOnṣirāṭinصراطصِرَٰطٍa Pathmus'taqīminمستقيممُّسْتَقِيمٍStraight.On a straight path,on a straight path,On a straight path.On a Straight Way.
5 تَنزِيلَ ٱلۡعَزِيزِ ٱلرَّحِيمِtanzīlaتنزيلتَنزِيلَA revelationl-ʿazīziالعزيزٱلْعَزِيزِ(of) the All-Mighty,l-raḥīmiالرحيمٱلرَّحِيمِthe Most Merciful,A revelation of the Mighty, the Merciful,[This is] a revelation from the All-Mighty, Most Merciful,[This is] a revelation of the Exalted in Might, the Merciful,It is a Revelation sent down by (Him), the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful.
6 لِتُنذِرَ قَوۡمٗا مَّآ أُنذِرَ ءَابَآؤُهُمۡ فَهُمۡ غَٰفِلُونَlitundhiraلتنذرلِتُنذِرَThat you may warnqawmanقوماقَوْمًاa peopleمامَّآnotundhiraأنذرأُنذِرَwere warnedābāuhumآباؤهمءَابَآؤُهُمْtheir forefathers,fahumفهمفَهُمْso theyghāfilūnaغافلونغَٰفِلُونَ(are) heedless.That thou mayst warn a folk whose fathers were not warned, so they are heedless.so that you warn a people whose forefathers were not warned, so they are heedless.That you may warn a people whose forefathers were not warned, so they are unaware.In order that thou mayest admonish a people, whose fathers had received no admonition, and who therefore remain heedless (of the Signs of Allah).
7 لَقَدۡ حَقَّ ٱلۡقَوۡلُ عَلَىٰٓ أَكۡثَرِهِمۡ فَهُمۡ لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَlaqadلقدلَقَدْCertainly,ḥaqqaحقحَقَّ(has) proved truel-qawluالقولٱلْقَوْلُthe wordʿalāعلىعَلَىٰٓuponaktharihimأكثرهمأَكْثَرِهِمْmost of themfahumفهمفَهُمْso theyلالَا(do) notyu'minūnaيؤمنونيُؤْمِنُونَbelieve.Already hath the judgment, (for their infidelity) proved true of most of them, for they believe not.The decree [of punishment] has been passed against most of them, for they will not believe.Already the word [i.e., decree] has come into effect upon most of them, so they do not believe.The Word is proved true against the greater part of them: for they do not believe.
8 إِنَّا جَعَلۡنَا فِيٓ أَعۡنَٰقِهِمۡ أَغۡلَٰلٗا فَهِيَ إِلَى ٱلۡأَذۡقَانِ فَهُم مُّقۡمَحُونَinnāإناإِنَّاIndeed, Wejaʿalnāجعلناجَعَلْنَا[We] have placedفيفِىٓonaʿnāqihimأعناقهمأَعْنَٰقِهِمْtheir necksaghlālanأغلالاأَغْلَٰلًاiron collars,fahiyaفهيفَهِىَand theyilāإلىإِلَى(are up) tol-adhqāniالأذقانٱلْأَذْقَانِthe chins,fahumفهمفَهُمso theymuq'maḥūnaمقمحونمُّقْمَحُونَ(are with) heads raised up.Lo! We have put on their necks carcans reaching unto the chins, so that they are made stiff-necked.[It is as if] We have placed shackles around their necks up to their chins, so their heads are forced to remain up,Indeed, We have put shackles on their necks, and they are to their chins, so they are with heads [kept] aloft.We have put yokes round their necks right up to their chins, so that their heads are forced up (and they cannot see).
9 وَجَعَلۡنَا مِنۢ بَيۡنِ أَيۡدِيهِمۡ سَدّٗا وَمِنۡ خَلۡفِهِمۡ سَدّٗا فَأَغۡشَيۡنَٰهُمۡ فَهُمۡ لَا يُبۡصِرُونَwajaʿalnāوجعلناوَجَعَلْنَاAnd We have mademinمنمِنۢbefore thembayniبينبَيْنِbefore themaydīhimأيديهمأَيْدِيهِمْbefore themsaddanسداسَدًّاa barrierwaminومنوَمِنْand behind themkhalfihimخلفهمخَلْفِهِمْand behind themsaddanسداسَدًّاa barrier.fa-aghshaynāhumفأغشيناهمفَأَغْشَيْنَٰهُمْand We covered them,fahumفهمفَهُمْso theyلالَا(do) notyub'ṣirūnaيبصرونيُبْصِرُونَsee.And We have set a bar before them and a bar behind them, and (thus) have covered them so that they see not.and We have placed a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and have blocked their vision so they cannot see[2].And We have put before them a barrier and behind them a barrier and covered them, so they do not see.And We have put a bar in front of them and a bar behind them, and further, We have covered them up; so that they cannot see.
10 وَسَوَآءٌ عَلَيۡهِمۡ ءَأَنذَرۡتَهُمۡ أَمۡ لَمۡ تُنذِرۡهُمۡ لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَwasawāonوسواءوَسَوَآءٌAnd it (is) sameʿalayhimعليهمعَلَيْهِمْto thema-andhartahumأأنذرتهمءَأَنذَرْتَهُمْwhether you warn themamأمأَمْorlamلملَمْ(do) nottundhir'humتنذرهمتُنذِرْهُمْwarn them,لالَاnotyu'minūnaيؤمنونيُؤْمِنُونَthey will believe.Whether thou warn them or thou warn them not, it is alike for them, for they believe not.It is the same to them whether you warn them or not, they will not believe.And it is all the same for them whether you warn them or do not warn them - they will not believe.The same is it to them whether thou admonish them or thou do not admonish them: they will not believe.
11 إِنَّمَا تُنذِرُ مَنِ ٱتَّبَعَ ٱلذِّكۡرَ وَخَشِيَ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنَ بِٱلۡغَيۡبِۖ فَبَشِّرۡهُ بِمَغۡفِرَةٖ وَأَجۡرٖ كَرِيمٍinnamāإنماإِنَّمَاOnlytundhiruتنذرتُنذِرُyou (can) warnmaniمنمَنِ(him) whoittabaʿaاتبعٱتَّبَعَfollowsl-dhik'raالذكرٱلذِّكْرَthe Reminderwakhashiyaوخشيوَخَشِىَand fearsl-raḥmānaالرحمنٱلرَّحْمَٰنَthe Most Graciousbil-ghaybiبالغيببِٱلْغَيْبِin the unseen.fabashir'huفبشرهفَبَشِّرْهُSo give him glad tidingsbimaghfiratinبمغفرةبِمَغْفِرَةٍof forgivenesswa-ajrinوأجروَأَجْرٍand a rewardkarīminكريمكَرِيمٍnoble.Thou warnest only him who followeth the Reminder and feareth the Beneficent in secret. To him bear tidings of forgiveness and a rich reward.You can only warn one who follows the Reminder[3] and fears the Most Compassionate unseen. So give him glad tidings of forgiveness and a generous reward.You can only warn one who follows the message and fears the Most Merciful unseen. So give him good tidings of forgiveness and noble reward.Thou canst but admonish such a one as follows the Message and fears the (Lord) Most Gracious, unseen: give such a one, therefore, good tidings, of Forgiveness and a Reward most generous.
12 إِنَّا نَحۡنُ نُحۡيِ ٱلۡمَوۡتَىٰ وَنَكۡتُبُ مَا قَدَّمُواْ وَءَاثَٰرَهُمۡۚ وَكُلَّ شَيۡءٍ أَحۡصَيۡنَٰهُ فِيٓ إِمَامٖ مُّبِينٖinnāإناإِنَّاIndeed, Wenaḥnuنحننَحْنُ[We]nuḥ'yīنحيينُحْىِ[We] give lifel-mawtāالموتىٱلْمَوْتَىٰ(to) the deadwanaktubuونكتبوَنَكْتُبُand We recordمامَاwhatqaddamūقدمواقَدَّمُواْthey have sent beforewaāthārahumوآثارهموَءَاثَٰرَهُمْand their footprints,wakullaوكلوَكُلَّand everyshayinشيءشَىْءٍthingaḥṣaynāhuأحصيناهأَحْصَيْنَٰهُWe have enumerated itفيفِىٓinimāminإمامإِمَامٍa Registermubīninمبينمُّبِينٍclear.Lo! We it is Who bring the dead to life. We record that which they send before (them, and their footprints. And all things We have kept in a clear Register.It is We Who give life to the dead, and record what they send forth and what they leave behind, and We keep an account of everything in a clear Record[4].Indeed, it is We who bring the dead to life and record what they have put forth and what they left behind, and all things We have enumerated in a clear register.Verily We shall give life to the dead, and We record that which they send before and that which they leave behind, and of all things have We taken account in a clear Book (of evidence).
13 وَٱضۡرِبۡ لَهُم مَّثَلًا أَصۡحَٰبَ ٱلۡقَرۡيَةِ إِذۡ جَآءَهَا ٱلۡمُرۡسَلُونَwa-iḍ'ribواضربوَٱضْرِبْAnd set forthlahumلهملَهُمto themmathalanمثلامَّثَلًاan exampleaṣḥābaأصحابأَصْحَٰبَ(of the) companionsl-qaryatiالقريةٱلْقَرْيَةِ(of) the city,idhإذإِذْwhenjāahāجاءهاجَآءَهَاcame to itl-mur'salūnaالمرسلونٱلْمُرْسَلُونَthe Messengers,Coin for them a similitude: The people of the city when those sent (from Allah) came unto them;Give them an example of the People of the Town when the messengers came to it.And present to them an example: the people of the city, when the messengers came to it -Set forth to them, by way of a parable, the (story of) the Companions of the City. Behold!, there came messengers to it.
14 إِذۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَآ إِلَيۡهِمُ ٱثۡنَيۡنِ فَكَذَّبُوهُمَا فَعَزَّزۡنَا بِثَالِثٖ فَقَالُوٓاْ إِنَّآ إِلَيۡكُم مُّرۡسَلُونَidhإذإِذْWhenarsalnāأرسلناأَرْسَلْنَآWe sentilayhimuإليهمإِلَيْهِمُto themith'nayniاثنينٱثْنَيْنِtwo (Messengers)fakadhabūhumāفكذبوهمافَكَذَّبُوهُمَاbut they denied both of them,faʿazzaznāفعززنافَعَزَّزْنَاso We strengthened thembithālithinبثالثبِثَالِثٍwith a third,faqālūفقالوافَقَالُوٓاْand they said,innāإناإِنَّآ"Indeed, Weilaykumإليكمإِلَيْكُمto youmur'salūnaمرسلونمُّرْسَلُونَ(are) Messengers."When We sent unto them twain, and they denied them both, so We reinforced them with a third, and they said: Lo! we have been sent unto you.When We sent them two [messengers], but they rejected them, so We strengthened them with a third, and they said, “We are sent to you as messengers.”When We sent to them two but they denied them, so We strengthened [them] with a third, and they said, "Indeed, we are messengers to you."When We (first) sent to them two messengers, they rejected them: But We strengthened them with a third: they said, "Truly, we have been sent on a mission to you."
15 قَالُواْ مَآ أَنتُمۡ إِلَّا بَشَرٞ مِّثۡلُنَا وَمَآ أَنزَلَ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُ مِن شَيۡءٍ إِنۡ أَنتُمۡ إِلَّا تَكۡذِبُونَqālūقالواقَالُواْThey said,مامَآ"Notantumأنتمأَنتُمْyouillāإلاإِلَّا(are) butbasharunبشربَشَرٌhuman beingsmith'lunāمثلنامِّثْلُنَاlike us,wamāوماوَمَآand notanzalaأنزلأَنزَلَhas revealedl-raḥmānuالرحمنٱلرَّحْمَٰنُthe Most Graciousminمنمِنanyshayinشيءشَىْءٍthing.inإنإِنْNotantumأنتمأَنتُمْyouillāإلاإِلَّا(are) buttakdhibūnaتكذبونتَكْذِبُونَlying."They said: Ye are but mortals like unto us. The Beneficent hath naught revealed. Ye do but lie!They said, “You are no more than human beings like us, and the Most Compassionate has not sent down anything. You are simply lying.”They said, "You are not but human beings like us, and the Most Merciful has not revealed a thing. You are only telling lies."The (people) said: "Ye are only men like ourselves; and (Allah) Most Gracious sends no sort of revelation: ye do nothing but lie."
16 قَالُواْ رَبُّنَا يَعۡلَمُ إِنَّآ إِلَيۡكُمۡ لَمُرۡسَلُونَqālūقالواقَالُواْThey said,rabbunāربنارَبُّنَا"Our Lord,yaʿlamuيعلميَعْلَمُknowsinnāإناإِنَّآthat weilaykumإليكمإِلَيْكُمْto youlamur'salūnaلمرسلونلَمُرْسَلُونَ(are) surely Messengers,They answered: Our Lord knoweth that we are indeed sent unto you,They said, “Our Lord knows that we are sent to you as messengers.They said, "Our Lord knows that we are messengers to you,They said: "Our Lord doth know that we have been sent on a mission to you:
17 وَمَا عَلَيۡنَآ إِلَّا ٱلۡبَلَٰغُ ٱلۡمُبِينُwamāوماوَمَاAnd notʿalaynāعليناعَلَيْنَآ(is) on usillāإلاإِلَّاexceptl-balāghuالبلاغٱلْبَلَٰغُthe conveyancel-mubīnuالمبينٱلْمُبِينُclear."And our duty is but plain conveyance (of the message).Our duty is only to convey the message clearly.”And we are not responsible except for clear notification.""And our duty is only to proclaim the clear Message."
18 قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّا تَطَيَّرۡنَا بِكُمۡۖ لَئِن لَّمۡ تَنتَهُواْ لَنَرۡجُمَنَّكُمۡ وَلَيَمَسَّنَّكُم مِّنَّا عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٞqālūقالواقَالُوٓاْThey said,innāإناإِنَّا"Indeed, wetaṭayyarnāتطيرناتَطَيَّرْنَا[we] see an evil omenbikumبكمبِكُمْfrom you.la-inلئنلَئِنIflamلملَّمْnottantahūتنتهواتَنتَهُواْyou desist,lanarjumannakumلنرجمنكملَنَرْجُمَنَّكُمْsurely, we will stone you,walayamassannakumوليمسنكموَلَيَمَسَّنَّكُمand surely will touch youminnāمنامِّنَّاfrom usʿadhābunعذابعَذَابٌa punishmentalīmunأليمأَلِيمٌpainful."(The people of the city) said: We augur ill of you. If ye desist not, we shall surely stone you, and grievous torture will befall you at our hands.The people said, “We consider you as an evil omen. If you do not desist, we will surely stone you, and we will inflict upon you a painful punishment.”They said, "Indeed, we consider you a bad omen. If you do not desist, we will surely stone you, and there will surely touch you, from us, a painful punishment."The (people) said: "for us, we augur an evil omen from you: if ye desist not, we will certainly stone you. And a grievous punishment indeed will be inflicted on you by us."
19 قَالُواْ طَٰٓئِرُكُم مَّعَكُمۡ أَئِن ذُكِّرۡتُمۚ بَلۡ أَنتُمۡ قَوۡمٞ مُّسۡرِفُونَqālūقالواقَالُواْThey said,ṭāirukumطائركمطَٰٓئِرُكُم"Your evil omenmaʿakumمعكممَّعَكُمْ(be) with you!a-inأئنأَئِنIs it becausedhukkir'tumذكرتمذُكِّرْتُمyou are admonished?balبلبَلْNay,antumأنتمأَنتُمْyouqawmunقومقَوْمٌ(are) a peoplemus'rifūnaمسرفونمُّسْرِفُونَtransgressing."They said: Your evil augury be with you! Is it because ye are reminded (of the truth)? Nay, but ye are froward folk!The messengers said, “Your evil omen is with yourselves [because of your disbelief]. Is it[5] because you are admonished? Rather, you are a people who transgress all bounds.”They said, "Your omen [i.e., fate] is with yourselves. Is it[1262] because you were reminded? Rather, you are a transgressing people."They said: "Your evil omens are with yourselves: (deem ye this an evil omen). If ye are admonished? Nay, but ye are a people transgressing all bounds!"
20 وَجَآءَ مِنۡ أَقۡصَا ٱلۡمَدِينَةِ رَجُلٞ يَسۡعَىٰ قَالَ يَٰقَوۡمِ ٱتَّبِعُواْ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَwajāaوجاءوَجَآءَAnd cameminمنمِنْfromaqṣāأقصىأَقْصَا(the) farthest endl-madīnatiالمدينةٱلْمَدِينَةِ(of) the cityrajulunرجلرَجُلٌa manyasʿāيسعىيَسْعَىٰrunning.qālaقالقَالَHe said,yāqawmiيا قوميَٰقَوْمِ"O my People!ittabiʿūاتبعواٱتَّبِعُواْFollowl-mur'salīnaالمرسلينٱلْمُرْسَلِينَthe Messengers.And there came from the uttermost part of the city a man running. He cried: O my people! Follow those who have been sent!A man came from the farthest end of the city, rushing, and said, “O my people, follow the messengers.And there came from the farthest end of the city a man, running. He said, "O my people, follow the messengers.Then there came running, from the farthest part of the City, a man, saying, "O my people! Obey the messengers:
21 ٱتَّبِعُواْ مَن لَّا يَسۡـَٔلُكُمۡ أَجۡرٗا وَهُم مُّهۡتَدُونَittabiʿūاتبعواٱتَّبِعُواْFollowmanمنمَن(those) whoلالَّا(do) notyasalukumيسألكميَسْـَٔلُكُمْask (of) youajranأجراأَجْرًاany payment,wahumوهموَهُمand theymuh'tadūnaمهتدونمُّهْتَدُونَ(are) rightly guided.Follow those who ask of you no fee, and who are rightly guided.Follow those who ask no recompense of you, and who are guided.Follow those who do not ask of you [any] payment, and they are [rightly] guided."Obey those who ask no reward of you (for themselves), and who have themselves received Guidance.
22 وَمَالِيَ لَآ أَعۡبُدُ ٱلَّذِي فَطَرَنِي وَإِلَيۡهِ تُرۡجَعُونَwamāوماوَمَاAnd whatliyaليلِىَ(is) for meلالَآ(that) notaʿbuduأعبدأَعْبُدُI worshipalladhīالذيٱلَّذِىthe One Whofaṭaranīفطرنيفَطَرَنِىcreated mewa-ilayhiوإليهوَإِلَيْهِand to Whomtur'jaʿūnaترجعونتُرْجَعُونَyou will be returned?For what cause should I not serve Him Who hath created me, and unto Whom ye will be brought back?Why should I not worship the One Who created me and to Whom you will all be brought back?And why should I not worship He who created me and to whom you will be returned?"It would not be reasonable in me if I did not serve Him Who created me, and to Whom ye shall (all) be brought back.
23 ءَأَتَّخِذُ مِن دُونِهِۦٓ ءَالِهَةً إِن يُرِدۡنِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُ بِضُرّٖ لَّا تُغۡنِ عَنِّي شَفَٰعَتُهُمۡ شَيۡـٔٗا وَلَا يُنقِذُونِa-attakhidhuأأتخذءَأَتَّخِذُShould I takeminمنمِنbesides Himdūnihiدونهدُونِهِۦٓbesides Himālihatanآلهةءَالِهَةًgods?inإنإِنIfyurid'niيردنيُرِدْنِintends for mel-raḥmānuالرحمنٱلرَّحْمَٰنُthe Most Graciousbiḍurrinبضربِضُرٍّany harmلالَّاnottugh'niتغنتُغْنِwill availʿannīعنيعَنِّى[from] meshafāʿatuhumشفاعتهمشَفَٰعَتُهُمْtheir intercessionshayanشيئاشَيْـًٔا(in) anything,walāولاوَلَاand notyunqidhūniينقذونيُنقِذُونِthey (can) save me.Shall I take (other) gods in place of Him when, if the Beneficent should wish me any harm, their intercession will avail me naught, nor can they save?Should I take besides Him other gods whose intercession cannot avail me in the least, nor can they come to my rescue, if the Most Compassionate wills to harm me?Should I take other than Him [false] deities [while], if the Most Merciful intends for me some adversity, their intercession will not avail me at all, nor can they save me?"Shall I take (other) gods besides Him? If (Allah) Most Gracious should intend some adversity for me, of no use whatever will be their intercession for me, nor can they deliver me.
24 إِنِّيٓ إِذٗا لَّفِي ضَلَٰلٖ مُّبِينٍinnīإنيإِنِّىٓIndeed, Iidhanإذاإِذًاthenlafīلفيلَّفِىsurely would be inḍalālinضلالضَلَٰلٍan errormubīninمبينمُّبِينٍclear.Then truly I should be in error manifest.Surely I would then be clearly misguided.Indeed, I would then be in manifest error."I would indeed, if I were to do so, be in manifest Error.
25 إِنِّيٓ ءَامَنتُ بِرَبِّكُمۡ فَٱسۡمَعُونِinnīإنيإِنِّىٓIndeed, Iāmantuآمنتءَامَنتُ[I] have believedbirabbikumبربكمبِرَبِّكُمْin your Lord,fa-is'maʿūniفاسمعونفَٱسْمَعُونِso listen to me."Lo! I have believed in your Lord, so hear me!I believe in your Lord, so listen to me.”Indeed, I have believed in your Lord, so listen to me.""For me, I have faith in the Lord of you (all): listen, then, to me!"
26 قِيلَ ٱدۡخُلِ ٱلۡجَنَّةَۖ قَالَ يَٰلَيۡتَ قَوۡمِي يَعۡلَمُونَqīlaقيلقِيلَIt was said,ud'khuliادخلٱدْخُلِ"Enterl-janataالجنةٱلْجَنَّةَParadise."qālaقالقَالَHe said,yālaytaيا ليتيَٰلَيْتَ"I wishqawmīقوميقَوْمِىmy peopleyaʿlamūnaيعلمونيَعْلَمُونَknewIt was said (unto him): Enter paradise. He said: Would that my people knew[But they killed him], so he was told[6], “Enter Paradise.” He said, “If only my people knew[7]It was said, "Enter Paradise."[1263] He said, "I wish my people could knowIt was said: "Enter thou the Garden." He said: "Ah me! Would that my People knew (what I know)!-
27 بِمَا غَفَرَ لِي رَبِّي وَجَعَلَنِي مِنَ ٱلۡمُكۡرَمِينَbimāبمابِمَاOf howghafaraغفرغَفَرَhas forgivenليلِىmerabbīربيرَبِّىmy Lordwajaʿalanīوجعلنيوَجَعَلَنِىand placed meminaمنمِنَamongl-muk'ramīnaالمكرمينٱلْمُكْرَمِينَthe honored ones."With what (munificence) my Lord hath pardoned me and made me of the honoured ones!of how my Lord has forgiven me, and made me among the honored ones.”Of how my Lord has forgiven me and placed me among the honored.""For that my Lord has granted me Forgiveness and has enrolled me among those held in honour!"
28 ۞ وَمَآ أَنزَلۡنَا عَلَىٰ قَوۡمِهِۦ مِنۢ بَعۡدِهِۦ مِن جُندٖ مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَمَا كُنَّا مُنزِلِينَwamāوماوَمَآAnd notanzalnāأنزلناأَنزَلْنَاWe sent downʿalāعلىعَلَىٰuponqawmihiقومهقَوْمِهِۦhis peopleminمنمِنۢafter himbaʿdihiبعدهبَعْدِهِۦafter himminمنمِنanyjundinجندجُندٍhostminaمنمِّنَfroml-samāiالسماءٱلسَّمَآءِthe heaven,wamāوماوَمَاand notkunnāكناكُنَّاwere Wemunzilīnaمنزلينمُنزِلِينَ(to) send down.We sent not down against his people after him a host from heaven, nor do We ever send.After his death, We did not send down any soldiers from heaven against his people, nor would We have done so.And We did not send down upon his people after him any soldiers from the heaven, nor would We have done so.And We sent not down against his People, after him, any hosts from heaven, nor was it needful for Us so to do.
29 إِن كَانَتۡ إِلَّا صَيۡحَةٗ وَٰحِدَةٗ فَإِذَا هُمۡ خَٰمِدُونَinإنإِنNotkānatكانتكَانَتْit wasillāإلاإِلَّاbutṣayḥatanصيحةصَيْحَةًa shoutwāḥidatanواحدةوَٰحِدَةًonefa-idhāفإذافَإِذَاthen behold!humهمهُمْTheykhāmidūnaخامدونخَٰمِدُونَ(were) extinguished.It was but one Shout, and lo! they were extinct.It was no more than a single blast, and immediately they were extinguished.It was not but one shout,[1264] and immediately they were extinguished.It was no more than a single mighty Blast, and behold! they were (like ashes) quenched and silent.
30 يَٰحَسۡرَةً عَلَى ٱلۡعِبَادِۚ مَا يَأۡتِيهِم مِّن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا كَانُواْ بِهِۦ يَسۡتَهۡزِءُونَyāḥasratanيا حسرةيَٰحَسْرَةًAlasʿalāعلىعَلَىforl-ʿibādiالعبادٱلْعِبَادِthe servants!مامَاNotyatīhimيأتيهميَأْتِيهِمcame to themminمنمِّنanyrasūlinرسولرَّسُولٍMessengerillāإلاإِلَّاbutkānūكانواكَانُواْthey didbihiبهبِهِۦmock at him.yastahziūnaيستهزئونيَسْتَهْزِءُونَmock at him.Ah, the anguish for the bondmen! Never came there unto them a messenger but they did mock him!Alas for the humans! No messenger ever comes to them but they ridicule him.How regretful for the servants. There did not come to them any messenger except that they used to ridicule him.Ah! Alas for (My) Servants! There comes not a messenger to them but they mock him!
31 أَلَمۡ يَرَوۡاْ كَمۡ أَهۡلَكۡنَا قَبۡلَهُم مِّنَ ٱلۡقُرُونِ أَنَّهُمۡ إِلَيۡهِمۡ لَا يَرۡجِعُونَalamألمأَلَمْDo notyarawيروايَرَوْاْthey seekamكمكَمْhow manyahlaknāأهلكناأَهْلَكْنَاWe destroyedqablahumقبلهمقَبْلَهُمbefore themminaمنمِّنَofl-qurūniالقرونٱلْقُرُونِthe generations?annahumأنهمأَنَّهُمْThat theyilayhimإليهمإِلَيْهِمْto themلالَاwill not return.yarjiʿūnaيرجعونيَرْجِعُونَwill not return.Have they not seen how many generations We destroyed before them, which indeed returned not unto them;Do they not see how many generations We destroyed before them who will never come back to them[8]?Have they not considered how many generations We destroyed before them - that they to them[1265] will not return?See they not how many generations before them we destroyed? Not to them will they return:
32 وَإِن كُلّٞ لَّمَّا جَمِيعٞ لَّدَيۡنَا مُحۡضَرُونَwa-inوإنوَإِنAnd surelykullunكلكُلٌّalllammāلمالَّمَّاthenjamīʿunجميعجَمِيعٌtogether,ladaynāلدينالَّدَيْنَاbefore Usmuḥ'ḍarūnaمحضرونمُحْضَرُونَ(will be) brought.But all, without exception, will be brought before Us.Yet all of them will be brought before Us.And indeed, all of them will yet be brought present before Us.But each one of them all - will be brought before Us (for judgment).
33 وَءَايَةٞ لَّهُمُ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ ٱلۡمَيۡتَةُ أَحۡيَيۡنَٰهَا وَأَخۡرَجۡنَا مِنۡهَا حَبّٗا فَمِنۡهُ يَأۡكُلُونَwaāyatunوآيةوَءَايَةٌAnd a Signlahumuلهملَّهُمُfor theml-arḍuالأرضٱلْأَرْضُ(is) the earthl-maytatuالميتةٱلْمَيْتَةُdead.aḥyaynāhāأحييناهاأَحْيَيْنَٰهَاWe give it lifewa-akhrajnāوأخرجناوَأَخْرَجْنَاand We bring forthmin'hāمنهامِنْهَاfrom itḥabbanحباحَبًّاgrain,famin'huفمنهفَمِنْهُand from ityakulūnaيأكلونيَأْكُلُونَthey eat.A token unto them is the dead earth. We revive it, and We bring forth from it grain so that they eat thereof;There is a sign for them in the dead land: We give it life and produce from it grain for them to eat.And a sign for them is the dead earth. We have brought it to life and brought forth from it grain, and from it they eat.A Sign for them is the earth that is dead: We do give it life, and produce grain therefrom, of which ye do eat.
34 وَجَعَلۡنَا فِيهَا جَنَّٰتٖ مِّن نَّخِيلٖ وَأَعۡنَٰبٖ وَفَجَّرۡنَا فِيهَا مِنَ ٱلۡعُيُونِwajaʿalnāوجعلناوَجَعَلْنَاAnd We placedfīhāفيهافِيهَاthereinjannātinجناتجَنَّٰتٍgardensminمنمِّنofnakhīlinنخيلنَّخِيلٍdate-palmswa-aʿnābinوأعنابوَأَعْنَٰبٍand grapevines,wafajjarnāوفجرناوَفَجَّرْنَاand We caused to gush forthfīhāفيهافِيهَاin itminaمنمِنَofl-ʿuyūniالعيونٱلْعُيُونِthe springs,And We have placed therein gardens of the date-palm and grapes, and We have caused springs of water to gush forth therein,And We have made therein gardens of palm trees and grapevines, and caused springs to gush forth,And We placed therein gardens of palm trees and grapevines and caused to burst forth therefrom some springs -And We produce therein orchard with date-palms and vines, and We cause springs to gush forth therein:
35 لِيَأۡكُلُواْ مِن ثَمَرِهِۦ وَمَا عَمِلَتۡهُ أَيۡدِيهِمۡۚ أَفَلَا يَشۡكُرُونَliyakulūليأكلوالِيَأْكُلُواْThat they may eatminمنمِنofthamarihiثمرهثَمَرِهِۦits fruit.wamāوماوَمَاAnd notʿamilathuعملتهعَمِلَتْهُmade itaydīhimأيديهمأَيْدِيهِمْtheir hands.afalāأفلاأَفَلَاSo will notyashkurūnaيشكرونيَشْكُرُونَthey be grateful?That they may eat of the fruit thereof, and their hands made it not. Will they not, then, give thanks?so that they may eat of its fruit that was not made by their hands[9]. Will they not then give thanks?That they may eat of His fruit.[1266] And their hands have not produced it,[1267] so will they not be grateful?That they may enjoy the fruits of this (artistry): It was not their hands that made this: will they not then give thanks?
36 سُبۡحَٰنَ ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَ ٱلۡأَزۡوَٰجَ كُلَّهَا مِمَّا تُنۢبِتُ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ وَمِنۡ أَنفُسِهِمۡ وَمِمَّا لَا يَعۡلَمُونَsub'ḥānaسبحانسُبْحَٰنَGlory bealladhīالذيٱلَّذِى(to) the One Whokhalaqaخلقخَلَقَcreatedl-azwājaالأزواجٱلْأَزْوَٰجَ(in) pairskullahāكلهاكُلَّهَاallmimmāممامِمَّاof whattunbituتنبتتُنۢبِتُgrowsl-arḍuالأرضٱلْأَرْضُthe earthwaminومنوَمِنْand ofanfusihimأنفسهمأَنفُسِهِمْthemselves,wamimmāومماوَمِمَّاand of whatلالَاnotyaʿlamūnaيعلمونيَعْلَمُونَthey know.Glory be to Him Who created all the sexual pairs, of that which the earth groweth, and of themselves, and of that which they know not!Glory be to the One Who created all types of things[10] that the earth produces, and of themselves, and of things that they have no knowledge about.Exalted is He who created all pairs[1268] - from what the earth grows and from themselves and from that which they do not know.Glory to Allah, Who created in pairs all things that the earth produces, as well as their own (human) kind and (other) things of which they have no knowledge.
37 وَءَايَةٞ لَّهُمُ ٱلَّيۡلُ نَسۡلَخُ مِنۡهُ ٱلنَّهَارَ فَإِذَا هُم مُّظۡلِمُونَwaāyatunوآيةوَءَايَةٌAnd a Signlahumuلهملَّهُمُfor themal-layluالليلٱلَّيْلُ(is) the night.naslakhuنسلخنَسْلَخُWe withdrawmin'huمنهمِنْهُfrom itl-nahāraالنهارٱلنَّهَارَthe day.fa-idhāفإذافَإِذَاThen behold!humهمهُمTheymuẓ'limūnaمظلمونمُّظْلِمُونَ(are) those in darkness.A token unto them is night. We strip it of the day, and lo! they are in darkness.There is another sign for them in the night: We strip from it the daylight, and they are left in darkness.And a sign for them is the night. We remove[1269] from it the [light of] day, so they are [left] in darkness.And a Sign for them is the Night: We withdraw therefrom the Day, and behold they are plunged in darkness;
38 وَٱلشَّمۡسُ تَجۡرِي لِمُسۡتَقَرّٖ لَّهَاۚ ذَٰلِكَ تَقۡدِيرُ ٱلۡعَزِيزِ ٱلۡعَلِيمِwal-shamsuوالشمسوَٱلشَّمْسُAnd the suntajrīتجريتَجْرِىrunslimus'taqarrinلمستقرلِمُسْتَقَرٍّto a term appointedlahāلهالَّهَاfor it.dhālikaذلكذَٰلِكَThattaqdīruتقديرتَقْدِيرُ(is the) Decreel-ʿazīziالعزيزٱلْعَزِيزِ(of) the All-Mighty,l-ʿalīmiالعليمٱلْعَلِيمِthe All-Knowing.And the sun runneth on unto a resting-place for him. That is the measuring of the Mighty, the Wise.The sun is running to its determined course. That is the design of the All-Mighty, All-Knowing.And the sun runs [on course] toward its stopping point. That is the determination of the Exalted in Might, the Knowing.And the sun runs his course for a period determined for him: that is the decree of (Him), the Exalted in Might, the All-Knowing.
39 وَٱلۡقَمَرَ قَدَّرۡنَٰهُ مَنَازِلَ حَتَّىٰ عَادَ كَٱلۡعُرۡجُونِ ٱلۡقَدِيمِwal-qamaraوالقمروَٱلْقَمَرَAnd the moon -qaddarnāhuقدرناهقَدَّرْنَٰهُWe have ordained for itmanāzilaمنازلمَنَازِلَphasesḥattāحتىحَتَّىٰuntil,ʿādaعادعَادَit returnskal-ʿur'jūniكالعرجونكَٱلْعُرْجُونِlike the date stalk,l-qadīmiالقديمٱلْقَدِيمِthe old.And for the moon We have appointed mansions till she return like an old shrivelled palm-leaf.As for the moon, We have determined phases for it, until it becomes like an old palm stalk.And the moon - We have determined for it phases, until it returns [appearing] like the old date stalk.And the Moon,- We have measured for her mansions (to traverse) till she returns like the old (and withered) lower part of a date-stalk.
40 لَا ٱلشَّمۡسُ يَنۢبَغِي لَهَآ أَن تُدۡرِكَ ٱلۡقَمَرَ وَلَا ٱلَّيۡلُ سَابِقُ ٱلنَّهَارِۚ وَكُلّٞ فِي فَلَكٖ يَسۡبَحُونَلالَاNotl-shamsuالشمسٱلشَّمْسُthe sunyanbaghīينبغييَنۢبَغِىis permittedlahāلهالَهَآfor it -anأنأَنthattud'rikaتدركتُدْرِكَit overtakesl-qamaraالقمرٱلْقَمَرَthe moon,walāولاوَلَاand notal-layluالليلٱلَّيْلُthe nightsābiquسابقسَابِقُ(can) outstripl-nahāriالنهارٱلنَّهَارِthe day,wakullunوكلوَكُلٌّbut allفيفِىinfalakinفلكفَلَكٍan orbityasbaḥūnaيسبحونيَسْبَحُونَthey are floating.It is not for the sun to overtake the moon, nor doth the night outstrip the day. They float each in an orbit.It is not for the sun to catch up with the moon, nor for the night to outstrip the day. Each is floating in its own orbit.It is not allowable [i.e., possible] for the sun to reach the moon, nor does the night overtake the day, but each, in an orbit, is swimming.It is not permitted to the Sun to catch up the Moon, nor can the Night outstrip the Day: Each (just) swims along in (its own) orbit (according to Law).
41 وَءَايَةٞ لَّهُمۡ أَنَّا حَمَلۡنَا ذُرِّيَّتَهُمۡ فِي ٱلۡفُلۡكِ ٱلۡمَشۡحُونِwaāyatunوآيةوَءَايَةٌAnd a Signlahumلهملَّهُمْfor themannāأناأَنَّا(is) thatḥamalnāحملناحَمَلْنَاWe carrieddhurriyyatahumذريتهمذُرِّيَّتَهُمْtheir offspringفيفِىinl-ful'kiالفلكٱلْفُلْكِthe shipl-mashḥūniالمشحونٱلْمَشْحُونِladen.And a token unto them is that We bear their offspring in the laden ship,Another sign for them is that We carried their offspring[11] in the loaded Ark,And a sign for them is that We carried their forefathers[1270] in a laden ship.And a Sign for them is that We bore their race (through the Flood) in the loaded Ark;
42 وَخَلَقۡنَا لَهُم مِّن مِّثۡلِهِۦ مَا يَرۡكَبُونَwakhalaqnāوخلقناوَخَلَقْنَاAnd We createdlahumلهملَهُمfor themminمنمِّنfrommith'lihiمثلهمِّثْلِهِۦ(the) likes of itمامَاwhatyarkabūnaيركبونيَرْكَبُونَthey ride.And have created for them of the like thereof whereon they ride.and We created for them similar things on which they ride.And We created for them from the likes of it that which they ride.And We have created for them similar (vessels) on which they ride.
43 وَإِن نَّشَأۡ نُغۡرِقۡهُمۡ فَلَا صَرِيخَ لَهُمۡ وَلَا هُمۡ يُنقَذُونَwa-inوإنوَإِنAnd ifnashaنشأنَّشَأْWe will,nugh'riq'humنغرقهمنُغْرِقْهُمْWe could drown them;falāفلافَلَاthen notṣarīkhaصريخصَرِيخَ(would be) a responder to a crylahumلهملَهُمْfor them,walāولاوَلَاand nothumهمهُمْtheyyunqadhūnaينقذونيُنقَذُونَwould be saved,And if We will, We drown them, and there is no help for them, neither can they be saved;If We willed, We could drown them, then there would be no one to respond to their cry, nor could they be rescued,And if We should will, We could drown them; then no one responding to a cry would there be for them, nor would they be savedIf it were Our Will, We could drown them: then would there be no helper (to hear their cry), nor could they be delivered,
44 إِلَّا رَحۡمَةٗ مِّنَّا وَمَتَٰعًا إِلَىٰ حِينٖillāإلاإِلَّاExceptraḥmatanرحمةرَحْمَةً(by) Mercyminnāمنامِّنَّاfrom Uswamatāʿanومتاعاوَمَتَٰعًاand provisionilāإلىإِلَىٰforḥīninحينحِينٍa time.Unless by mercy from Us and as comfort for a while.except by a mercy from Us, leaving them to enjoy for a while.Except as a mercy from Us and provision for a time.Except by way of Mercy from Us, and by way of (world) convenience (to serve them) for a time.
45 وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ ٱتَّقُواْ مَا بَيۡنَ أَيۡدِيكُمۡ وَمَا خَلۡفَكُمۡ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تُرۡحَمُونَwa-idhāوإذاوَإِذَاAnd whenqīlaقيلقِيلَit is saidlahumuلهملَهُمُto them,ittaqūاتقواٱتَّقُواْ"Fearمامَاwhatbaynaبينبَيْنَ(is) before youaydīkumأيديكمأَيْدِيكُمْ(is) before youwamāوماوَمَاand whatkhalfakumخلفكمخَلْفَكُمْ(is) behind youlaʿallakumلعلكملَعَلَّكُمْso that you maytur'ḥamūnaترحمونتُرْحَمُونَreceive mercy."When it is said unto them: Beware of that which is before you and that which is behind you, that haply ye may find mercy (they are heedless).When it is said to them, “Beware of what is ahead of you and what is behind you[12], so that you may be shown mercy[13].”But when it is said to them, "Beware of what is before you and what is behind you;[1271] perhaps you will receive mercy..."[1272]When they are told, "Fear ye that which is before you and that which will be after you, in order that ye may receive Mercy," (they turn back).
46 وَمَا تَأۡتِيهِم مِّنۡ ءَايَةٖ مِّنۡ ءَايَٰتِ رَبِّهِمۡ إِلَّا كَانُواْ عَنۡهَا مُعۡرِضِينَwamāوماوَمَاAnd nottatīhimتأتيهمتَأْتِيهِمcomes to themminمنمِّنْofāyatinآيةءَايَةٍa Signminمنمِّنْfromāyātiآياتءَايَٰتِ(the) Signsrabbihimربهمرَبِّهِمْ(of) their Lord,illāإلاإِلَّاbutkānūكانواكَانُواْtheyʿanhāعنهاعَنْهَاfrom itmuʿ'riḍīnaمعرضينمُعْرِضِينَturn away.Never came a token of the tokens of their Lord to them, but they did turn away from it!No sign ever comes to them from their Lord except that they turn away from it.And no sign comes to them from the signs of their Lord except that they are from it turning away.Not a Sign comes to them from among the Signs of their Lord, but they turn away therefrom.
47 وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمۡ أَنفِقُواْ مِمَّا رَزَقَكُمُ ٱللَّهُ قَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لِلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓاْ أَنُطۡعِمُ مَن لَّوۡ يَشَآءُ ٱللَّهُ أَطۡعَمَهُۥٓ إِنۡ أَنتُمۡ إِلَّا فِي ضَلَٰلٖ مُّبِينٖwa-idhāوإذاوَإِذَاAnd whenqīlaقيلقِيلَit is saidlahumلهملَهُمْto them,anfiqūأنفقواأَنفِقُواْ"Spendmimmāممامِمَّاfrom whatrazaqakumuرزقكمرَزَقَكُمُ(has) provided youl-lahuاللهٱللَّهُAllah."qālaقالقَالَSaidalladhīnaالذينٱلَّذِينَthose whokafarūكفرواكَفَرُواْdisbelievedlilladhīnaللذينلِلَّذِينَto those whoāmanūآمنواءَامَنُوٓاْbelieved,anuṭ'ʿimuأنطعمأَنُطْعِمُ"Should we feedmanمنمَنwhomlawلولَّوْifyashāuيشاءيَشَآءُAllah willed -l-lahuاللهٱللَّهُAllah willed -aṭʿamahuأطعمهأَطْعَمَهُۥٓHe would have fed him?"inإنإِنْNotantumأنتمأَنتُمْ(are) youillāإلاإِلَّاexceptفيفِىinḍalālinضلالضَلَٰلٍan errormubīninمبينمُّبِينٍclear.And when it is said unto them: Spend of that wherewith Allah hath provided you, those who disbelieve say unto those who believe: Shall we feed those whom Allah, if He willed, would feed? Ye are in naught else than error manifest.And when it is said to them, “Spend of what Allah has provided you with”, the disbelievers say to the believers, “Should we feed those whom Allah could feed if He willed? You are clearly misguided!”And when it is said to them, "Spend from that which Allāh has provided for you," those who disbelieve say to those who believe, "Should we feed one whom, if Allāh had willed, He would have fed? You are not but in clear error."And when they are told, "Spend ye of (the bounties) with which Allah has provided you," the Unbelievers say to those who believe: "Shall we then feed those whom, if Allah had so willed, He would have fed, (Himself)?- Ye are in nothing but manifest error."
48 وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَىٰ هَٰذَا ٱلۡوَعۡدُ إِن كُنتُمۡ صَٰدِقِينَwayaqūlūnaويقولونوَيَقُولُونَAnd they say,matāمتىمَتَىٰ"When (is)hādhāهذاهَٰذَاthisl-waʿduالوعدٱلْوَعْدُpromise,inإنإِنifkuntumكنتمكُنتُمْyou areṣādiqīnaصادقينصَٰدِقِينَtruthful?"And they say: When will this promise be fulfilled, if ye are truthful?They say, “When will this promise come to pass, if you are truthful?”And they say, "When is this promise, if you should be truthful?"Further, they say, "When will this promise (come to pass), if what ye say is true?"
49 مَا يَنظُرُونَ إِلَّا صَيۡحَةٗ وَٰحِدَةٗ تَأۡخُذُهُمۡ وَهُمۡ يَخِصِّمُونَمامَاNotyanẓurūnaينظرونيَنظُرُونَthey awaitillāإلاإِلَّاexceptṣayḥatanصيحةصَيْحَةًa shoutwāḥidatanواحدةوَٰحِدَةًone,takhudhuhumتأخذهمتَأْخُذُهُمْit will seize themwahumوهموَهُمْwhile theyyakhiṣṣimūnaيخصمونيَخِصِّمُونَare disputing.They await but one Shout, which will surprise them while they are disputing.They are not awaiting but a single Blast that will seize them while they are still disputing[14].They do not await except one blast[1273] which will seize them while they are disputing.They will not (have to) wait for aught but a single Blast: it will seize them while they are yet disputing among themselves!
50 فَلَا يَسۡتَطِيعُونَ تَوۡصِيَةٗ وَلَآ إِلَىٰٓ أَهۡلِهِمۡ يَرۡجِعُونَfalāفلافَلَاThen notyastaṭīʿūnaيستطيعونيَسْتَطِيعُونَthey will be abletawṣiyatanتوصيةتَوْصِيَةً(to) make a will,walāولاوَلَآand notilāإلىإِلَىٰٓtoahlihimأهلهمأَهْلِهِمْtheir peopleyarjiʿūnaيرجعونيَرْجِعُونَthey (can) return.Then they cannot make bequest, nor can they return to their own folk.Then they will not be able to make a will, nor will they be able to return to their households.And they will not be able [to give] any instruction, nor to their people can they return.No (chance) will they then have, by will, to dispose (of their affairs), nor to return to their own people!
51 وَنُفِخَ فِي ٱلصُّورِ فَإِذَا هُم مِّنَ ٱلۡأَجۡدَاثِ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِمۡ يَنسِلُونَwanufikhaونفخوَنُفِخَAnd will be blownفيفِى[in]l-ṣūriالصورٱلصُّورِthe trumpet,fa-idhāفإذافَإِذَاand behold!humهمهُمTheyminaمنمِّنَfroml-ajdāthiالأجداثٱلْأَجْدَاثِthe gravesilāإلىإِلَىٰtorabbihimربهمرَبِّهِمْtheir Lordyansilūnaينسلونيَنسِلُونَ[they] will hasten.And the trumpet is blown and lo! from the graves they hie unto their Lord,The Trumpet will be blown[15] [again], and at once they will rush from their graves to their Lord.And the Horn will be blown;[1274] and at once from the graves to their Lord they will hasten.The trumpet shall be sounded, when behold! from the sepulchres (men) will rush forth to their Lord!
52 قَالُواْ يَٰوَيۡلَنَا مَنۢ بَعَثَنَا مِن مَّرۡقَدِنَاۜۗ هَٰذَا مَا وَعَدَ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُ وَصَدَقَ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلُونَqālūقالواقَالُواْThey [will] say,yāwaylanāيا ويلنايَٰوَيْلَنَا"O woe to us!manمنمَنۢWhobaʿathanāبعثنابَعَثَنَاhas raised usminمنمِنfrommarqadināمرقدنامَّرْقَدِنَاour sleeping place?"hādhāهذاهَٰذَا"This (is)مامَاwhatwaʿadaوعدوَعَدَ(had) promisedl-raḥmānuالرحمنٱلرَّحْمَٰنُthe Most Gracious,waṣadaqaوصدقوَصَدَقَand told (the) truthl-mur'salūnaالمرسلونٱلْمُرْسَلُونَthe Messengers."Crying: Woe upon us! Who hath raised us from our place of sleep? This is that which the Beneficent did promise, and the messengers spoke truth.They will say, “Woe to us! Who has resurrected us from our resting place?” [They will be told,] “This is what the Most Compassionate promised, and the messengers told the truth.”They will say, "O woe to us! Who has raised us up from our sleeping place?" [The reply will be], "This is what the Most Merciful had promised, and the messengers told the truth."They will say: "Ah! Woe unto us! Who hath raised us up from our beds of repose?"... (A voice will say:) "This is what (Allah) Most Gracious had promised. And true was the word of the messengers!"
53 إِن كَانَتۡ إِلَّا صَيۡحَةٗ وَٰحِدَةٗ فَإِذَا هُمۡ جَمِيعٞ لَّدَيۡنَا مُحۡضَرُونَinإنإِنNotkānatكانتكَانَتْit will beillāإلاإِلَّاbutṣayḥatanصيحةصَيْحَةًa shoutwāḥidatanواحدةوَٰحِدَةًsingle,fa-idhāفإذافَإِذَاso behold!humهمهُمْTheyjamīʿunجميعجَمِيعٌallladaynāلدينالَّدَيْنَاbefore Usmuḥ'ḍarūnaمحضرونمُحْضَرُونَ(will be) brought.It is but one Shout, and behold them brought together before Us!It will only be a single Blast, and at once they will all be brought before Us.It will not be but one blast, and at once they are all brought present before Us.It will be no more than a single Blast, when lo! they will all be brought up before Us!
54 فَٱلۡيَوۡمَ لَا تُظۡلَمُ نَفۡسٞ شَيۡـٔٗا وَلَا تُجۡزَوۡنَ إِلَّا مَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَfal-yawmaفاليومفَٱلْيَوْمَSo this Dayلالَاnottuẓ'lamuتظلمتُظْلَمُwill be wrongednafsunنفسنَفْسٌa soulshayanشيئاشَيْـًٔا(in) anythingwalāولاوَلَاand nottuj'zawnaتجزونتُجْزَوْنَyou will be recompensedillāإلاإِلَّاexceptمامَا(for) whatkuntumكنتمكُنتُمْyou used (to)taʿmalūnaتعملونتَعْمَلُونَdo.This day no soul is wronged in aught; nor are ye requited aught save what ye used to do.On that Day no soul will be wronged in the least, nor will you be recompensed except for what you used to do.So today [i.e., the Day of Judgement] no soul will be wronged at all, and you will not be recompensed except for what you used to do.Then, on that Day, not a soul will be wronged in the least, and ye shall but be repaid the meeds of your past Deeds.
55 إِنَّ أَصۡحَٰبَ ٱلۡجَنَّةِ ٱلۡيَوۡمَ فِي شُغُلٖ فَٰكِهُونَinnaإنإِنَّIndeed,aṣḥābaأصحابأَصْحَٰبَ(the) companionsl-janatiالجنةٱلْجَنَّةِ(of) Paradisel-yawmaاليومٱلْيَوْمَthis Dayفيفِى[in]shughulinشغلشُغُلٍwill be occupiedfākihūnaفاكهونفَٰكِهُونَ(in) amusement,Lo! those who merit paradise this day are happily employed,Indeed, on that Day the people of Paradise will be busy enjoying themselves,Indeed the companions of Paradise, that Day, will be amused in [joyful] occupation -Verily the Companions of the Garden shall that Day have joy in all that they do;
56 هُمۡ وَأَزۡوَٰجُهُمۡ فِي ظِلَٰلٍ عَلَى ٱلۡأَرَآئِكِ مُتَّكِـُٔونَhumهمهُمْTheywa-azwājuhumوأزواجهموَأَزْوَٰجُهُمْand their spousesفيفِىinẓilālinظلالظِلَٰلٍshades,ʿalāعلىعَلَىonl-arāikiالأرائكٱلْأَرَآئِكِ[the] couchesmuttakiūnaمتكئونمُتَّكِـُٔونَreclining.They and their wives, in pleasant shade, on thrones reclining;they and their spouses will be reclining on couches in the shade.They and their spouses - in shade, reclining on adorned couches.They and their associates will be in groves of (cool) shade, reclining on Thrones (of dignity);
57 لَهُمۡ فِيهَا فَٰكِهَةٞ وَلَهُم مَّا يَدَّعُونَlahumلهملَهُمْFor themfīhāفيهافِيهَاthereinfākihatunفاكهةفَٰكِهَةٌ(are) fruits,walahumولهموَلَهُمand for themمامَّا(is) whateveryaddaʿūnaيدعونيَدَّعُونَthey call for.Theirs the fruit (of their good deeds) and theirs (all) that they ask;They will have therein fruits and all what they ask for[16].For them therein is fruit, and for them is whatever they request [or wish](Every) fruit (enjoyment) will be there for them; they shall have whatever they call for;
58 سَلَٰمٞ قَوۡلٗا مِّن رَّبّٖ رَّحِيمٖsalāmunسلامسَلَٰمٌ"Peace."qawlanقولاقَوْلًاA wordminمنمِّنfromrabbinربرَّبٍّa LordraḥīminرحيمرَّحِيمٍMost Merciful.The word from a Merciful Lord (for them) is: Peace!“Peace”: a word from a Most Merciful Lord.[And] "Peace," a word from a Merciful Lord."Peace!" - a word (of salutation) from a Lord Most Merciful!
59 وَٱمۡتَٰزُواْ ٱلۡيَوۡمَ أَيُّهَا ٱلۡمُجۡرِمُونَwa-im'tāzūوامتازواوَٱمْتَٰزُواْ"But stand apartl-yawmaاليومٱلْيَوْمَtodayayyuhāأيهاأَيُّهَاO criminals!l-muj'rimūnaالمجرمونٱلْمُجْرِمُونَO criminals!But avaunt ye, O ye guilty, this day!“Stand apart [from the believers] this Day, O wicked ones![Then He will say], "But stand apart today, you criminals.[1275]"And O ye in sin! Get ye apart this Day!
60 ۞ أَلَمۡ أَعۡهَدۡ إِلَيۡكُمۡ يَٰبَنِيٓ ءَادَمَ أَن لَّا تَعۡبُدُواْ ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنَۖ إِنَّهُۥ لَكُمۡ عَدُوّٞ مُّبِينٞalamألمأَلَمْDid notaʿhadأعهدأَعْهَدْI enjoinilaykumإليكمإِلَيْكُمْupon youyābanīيا بنييَٰبَنِىٓO Children of Adam!ādamaآدمءَادَمَO Children of Adam!anأنأَنThatلالَّا(do) nottaʿbudūتعبدواتَعْبُدُواْworshipl-shayṭānaالشيطانٱلشَّيْطَٰنَthe Shaitaan,innahuإنهإِنَّهُۥindeed, helakumلكملَكُمْ(is) for youʿaduwwunعدوعَدُوٌّan enemymubīnunمبينمُّبِينٌclear,Did I not charge you, O ye sons of Adam, that ye worship not the devil - Lo! he is your open foe! -Did I not command you, O children of Adam, not to worship Satan, for he is your sworn enemy,Did I not enjoin upon you, O children of Adam, that you not worship Satan - [for] indeed, he is to you a clear enemy -"Did I not enjoin on you, O ye Children of Adam, that ye should not worship Satan; for that he was to you an enemy avowed?-
61 وَأَنِ ٱعۡبُدُونِيۚ هَٰذَا صِرَٰطٞ مُّسۡتَقِيمٞwa-aniوأنوَأَنِAnd thatuʿ'budūnīاعبدونيٱعْبُدُونِىyou worship Me?hādhāهذاهَٰذَاThisṣirāṭunصراطصِرَٰطٌ(is) a Pathmus'taqīmunمستقيممُّسْتَقِيمٌStraight.But that ye worship Me? That was the right path.but to worship Me? This is a straight path.And that you worship [only] Me? This is a straight path."And that ye should worship Me, (for that) this was the Straight Way?
62 وَلَقَدۡ أَضَلَّ مِنكُمۡ جِبِلّٗا كَثِيرًاۖ أَفَلَمۡ تَكُونُواْ تَعۡقِلُونَwalaqadولقدوَلَقَدْAnd indeed,aḍallaأضلأَضَلَّhe led astrayminkumمنكممِنكُمْfrom youjibillanجبلاجِبِلًّاa multitudekathīranكثيراكَثِيرًاgreat.afalamأفلمأَفَلَمْThen did nottakūnūتكونواتَكُونُواْyoutaʿqilūnaتعقلونتَعْقِلُونَuse reason?Yet he hath led astray of you a great multitude. Had ye then no sense?He had already misled great multitudes of you. Did you not then have sense?And he had already led astray from among you much of creation, so did you not use reason?"But he did lead astray a great multitude of you. Did ye not, then, understand?
63 هَٰذِهِۦ جَهَنَّمُ ٱلَّتِي كُنتُمۡ تُوعَدُونَhādhihiهذههَٰذِهِۦThis (is)jahannamuجهنمجَهَنَّمُ(the) Hellallatīالتيٱلَّتِىwhichkuntumكنتمكُنتُمْyou weretūʿadūnaتوعدونتُوعَدُونَpromised.This is hell which ye were promised (if ye followed him).This is the Hell that you were promised.This is the Hellfire which you were promised."This is the Hell of which ye were (repeatedly) warned!
64 ٱصۡلَوۡهَا ٱلۡيَوۡمَ بِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَكۡفُرُونَiṣ'lawhāاصلوهاٱصْلَوْهَاBurn thereinl-yawmaاليومٱلْيَوْمَtodaybimāبمابِمَاbecausekuntumكنتمكُنتُمْyou used totakfurūnaتكفرونتَكْفُرُونَdisbelieve."Burn therein this day for that ye disbelieved.Burn in it Today for your disbelief[17].”[Enter to] burn therein today for what you used to deny."[1276]"Embrace ye the (fire) this Day, for that ye (persistently) rejected (Truth)."
65 ٱلۡيَوۡمَ نَخۡتِمُ عَلَىٰٓ أَفۡوَٰهِهِمۡ وَتُكَلِّمُنَآ أَيۡدِيهِمۡ وَتَشۡهَدُ أَرۡجُلُهُم بِمَا كَانُواْ يَكۡسِبُونَal-yawmaاليومٱلْيَوْمَThis DaynakhtimuنختمنَخْتِمُWe will sealʿalāعلىعَلَىٰٓ[on]afwāhihimأفواههمأَفْوَٰهِهِمْtheir mouths,watukallimunāوتكلمناوَتُكَلِّمُنَآand will speak to Usaydīhimأيديهمأَيْدِيهِمْtheir hands,watashhaduوتشهدوَتَشْهَدُand will bear witnessarjuluhumأرجلهمأَرْجُلُهُمtheir feetbimāبمابِمَاabout whatkānūكانواكَانُواْthey used toyaksibūnaيكسبونيَكْسِبُونَearn.This day We seal up their mouths, and their hands speak out to Us and their feet bear witness as to what they used to earn.Today We will seal up their mouths, and their hands will speak to Us, and their feet will testify to all what they used to do.That Day, We will seal over their mouths, and their hands will speak to Us, and their feet will testify about what they used to earn.That Day shall We set a seal on their mouths. But their hands will speak to us, and their feet bear witness, to all that they did.
66 وَلَوۡ نَشَآءُ لَطَمَسۡنَا عَلَىٰٓ أَعۡيُنِهِمۡ فَٱسۡتَبَقُواْ ٱلصِّرَٰطَ فَأَنَّىٰ يُبۡصِرُونَwalawولووَلَوْAnd ifnashāuنشاءنَشَآءُWe willed,laṭamasnāلطمسنالَطَمَسْنَاWe (would have) surely obliteratedʿalāعلىعَلَىٰٓ[over]aʿyunihimأعينهمأَعْيُنِهِمْtheir eyes,fa-is'tabaqūفاستبقوافَٱسْتَبَقُواْthen they (would) racel-ṣirāṭaالصراطٱلصِّرَٰطَ(to find) the path,fa-annāفأنىفَأَنَّىٰthen howyub'ṣirūnaيبصرونيُبْصِرُونَ(could) they see?And had We willed, We verily could have quenched their eyesight so that they should struggle for the way. Then how could they have seen?If We willed, We could have taken away their sight, so they would rush to find their way, but then how could they see?And if We willed, We could have obliterated their eyes, and they would race to [find] the path, and how could they see?[1277]If it had been our Will, We could surely have blotted out their eyes; then should they have run about groping for the Path, but how could they have seen?
67 وَلَوۡ نَشَآءُ لَمَسَخۡنَٰهُمۡ عَلَىٰ مَكَانَتِهِمۡ فَمَا ٱسۡتَطَٰعُواْ مُضِيّٗا وَلَا يَرۡجِعُونَwalawولووَلَوْAnd ifnashāuنشاءنَشَآءُWe willedlamasakhnāhumلمسخناهملَمَسَخْنَٰهُمْsurely, We (would have) transformed themʿalāعلىعَلَىٰinmakānatihimمكانتهممَكَانَتِهِمْtheir placesfamāفمافَمَاthen notis'taṭāʿūاستطاعواٱسْتَطَٰعُواْthey would have been ablemuḍiyyanمضيامُضِيًّاto proceedwalāولاوَلَاand notyarjiʿūnaيرجعونيَرْجِعُونَreturn.And had We willed, We verily could have fixed them in their place, making them powerless to go forward or turn back.And if We willed, We could have paralyzed them in their places[18], so they could neither move forward nor backward.And if We willed, We could have deformed them, [paralyzing them] in their places so they would not be able to proceed, nor could they return.[1278]And if it had been Our Will, We could have transformed them (to remain) in their places; then should they have been unable to move about, nor could they have returned (after error).
68 وَمَن نُّعَمِّرۡهُ نُنَكِّسۡهُ فِي ٱلۡخَلۡقِۚ أَفَلَا يَعۡقِلُونَwamanومنوَمَنAnd (he) whomnuʿammir'huنعمرهنُّعَمِّرْهُWe grant him long life,nunakkis'huننكسهنُنَكِّسْهُWe reverse himفيفِىinl-khalqiالخلقٱلْخَلْقِthe creation.afalāأفلاأَفَلَاThen will notyaʿqilūnaيعقلونيَعْقِلُونَthey use intellect?He whom we bring unto old age, We reverse him in creation (making him go back to weakness after strength). Have ye then no sense?Whomsoever We give a long life, We cause his strength to decline[19]. Do they not then understand?And he to whom We grant long life We reverse in creation;[1279] so will they not understand?If We grant long life to any, We cause him to be reversed in nature: Will they not then understand?
69 وَمَا عَلَّمۡنَٰهُ ٱلشِّعۡرَ وَمَا يَنۢبَغِي لَهُۥٓۚ إِنۡ هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكۡرٞ وَقُرۡءَانٞ مُّبِينٞwamāوماوَمَاAnd notʿallamnāhuعلمناهعَلَّمْنَٰهُWe taught himl-shiʿ'raالشعرٱلشِّعْرَ[the] poetry,wamāوماوَمَاand notyanbaghīينبغييَنۢبَغِىit is befittinglahuلهلَهُۥٓfor him.inإنإِنْNothuwaهوهُوَitillāإلاإِلَّا(is) exceptdhik'runذكرذِكْرٌa Reminderwaqur'ānunوقرآنوَقُرْءَانٌand a Quranmubīnunمبينمُّبِينٌclear,And We have not taught him (Muhammad) poetry, nor is it meet for him. This is naught else than a Reminder and a Lecture making plain,We have not taught him poetry, nor is it fitting for him. This is only a Reminder and a clear Qur’anAnd We did not give him [i.e., Prophet Muḥammad (ﷺ)] knowledge of poetry, nor is it befitting for him. It is not but a message and a clear Qur’ānWe have not instructed the (Prophet) in Poetry, nor is it meet for him: this is no less than a Message and a Qur'an making things clear:
70 لِّيُنذِرَ مَن كَانَ حَيّٗا وَيَحِقَّ ٱلۡقَوۡلُ عَلَى ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَliyundhiraلينذرلِّيُنذِرَTo warnmanمنمَن(him) whokānaكانكَانَisḥayyanحياحَيًّاalivewayaḥiqqaويحقوَيَحِقَّand may be proved truel-qawluالقولٱلْقَوْلُthe Wordʿalāعلىعَلَىagainstl-kāfirīnaالكافرينٱلْكَٰفِرِينَthe disbelievers.To warn whosoever liveth, and that the word may be fulfilled against the disbelievers.so that he may warn those who are truly alive[20] and establish the argument against the disbelievers.To warn whoever is alive[1280] and justify the word [i.e., decree] against the disbelievers.That it may give admonition to any (who are) alive, and that the charge may be proved against those who reject (Truth).
71 أَوَلَمۡ يَرَوۡاْ أَنَّا خَلَقۡنَا لَهُم مِّمَّا عَمِلَتۡ أَيۡدِينَآ أَنۡعَٰمٗا فَهُمۡ لَهَا مَٰلِكُونَawalamأولمأَوَلَمْDo notyarawيروايَرَوْاْthey seeannāأناأَنَّاthat Wekhalaqnāخلقناخَلَقْنَا[We] createdlahumلهملَهُمfor themmimmāممامِّمَّاfrom whatʿamilatعملتعَمِلَتْhave madeaydīnāأيديناأَيْدِينَآOur hands,anʿāmanأنعاماأَنْعَٰمًاcattle,fahumفهمفَهُمْthen theylahāلهالَهَا[for them]mālikūnaمالكونمَٰلِكُونَ(are the) owners?Have they not seen how We have created for them of Our handiwork the cattle, so that they are their owners,Do they not see that We have created for them livestock made by Our Hands, and then they are their owners?Do they not see that We have created for them from what Our hands[1281] have made, grazing livestock, and [then] they are their owners?See they not that it is We Who have created for them - among the things which Our hands have fashioned - cattle, which are under their dominion?-
72 وَذَلَّلۡنَٰهَا لَهُمۡ فَمِنۡهَا رَكُوبُهُمۡ وَمِنۡهَا يَأۡكُلُونَwadhallalnāhāوذللناهاوَذَلَّلْنَٰهَاAnd We have tamed themlahumلهملَهُمْfor them,famin'hāفمنهافَمِنْهَاso some of them -rakūbuhumركوبهمرَكُوبُهُمْthey ride them,wamin'hāومنهاوَمِنْهَاand some of themyakulūnaيأكلونيَأْكُلُونَthey eat.And have subdued them unto them, so that some of them they have for riding, some for food?And We have made them subservient to them; some they ride, and from others they eat,And We have tamed them for them, so some of them they ride, and some of them they eat.And that We have subjected them to their (use)? of them some do carry them and some they eat:
73 وَلَهُمۡ فِيهَا مَنَٰفِعُ وَمَشَارِبُۚ أَفَلَا يَشۡكُرُونَwalahumولهموَلَهُمْAnd for themfīhāفيهافِيهَاthereinmanāfiʿuمنافعمَنَٰفِعُ(are) benefitswamashāribuومشاربوَمَشَارِبُand drinks,afalāأفلاأَفَلَاso (will) notyashkurūnaيشكرونيَشْكُرُونَthey give thanks?Benefits and (divers) drinks have they from them. Will they not then give thanks?and there are other benefits and drinks therein for them. Will they not then give thanks?And for them therein are [other] benefits and drinks, so will they not be grateful?And they have (other) profits from them (besides), and they get (milk) to drink. Will they not then be grateful?
74 وَٱتَّخَذُواْ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ ءَالِهَةٗ لَّعَلَّهُمۡ يُنصَرُونَwa-ittakhadhūواتخذواوَٱتَّخَذُواْBut they have takenminمنمِنbesidesdūniدوندُونِbesidesl-lahiاللهٱللَّهِAllahālihatanآلهةءَالِهَةًgods,laʿallahumلعلهملَّعَلَّهُمْthat they mayyunṣarūnaينصرونيُنصَرُونَbe helped.And they have taken (other) gods beside Allah, in order that they may be helped.Yet they have taken other gods besides Allah, hoping that they may be helped.But they have taken besides Allāh [false] deities that perhaps they would be helped.Yet they take (for worship) gods other than Allah, (hoping) that they might be helped!
75 لَا يَسۡتَطِيعُونَ نَصۡرَهُمۡ وَهُمۡ لَهُمۡ جُندٞ مُّحۡضَرُونَلالَاNotyastaṭīʿūnaيستطيعونيَسْتَطِيعُونَthey are ablenaṣrahumنصرهمنَصْرَهُمْto help them,wahumوهموَهُمْbut they -lahumلهملَهُمْfor themjundunجندجُندٌ(are) hostsmuḥ'ḍarūnaمحضرونمُّحْضَرُونَ(who will) be brought.It is not in their power to help them; but they (the worshippers) are unto them a host in arms.They cannot help them, yet they serve them as their dedicated guards[21].They are not able to help them, and they [themselves] are for them soldiers in attendance.[1282]They have not the power to help them: but they will be brought up (before Our Judgment-seat) as a troop (to be condemned).
76 فَلَا يَحۡزُنكَ قَوۡلُهُمۡۘ إِنَّا نَعۡلَمُ مَا يُسِرُّونَ وَمَا يُعۡلِنُونَfalāفلافَلَاSo (let) notyaḥzunkaيحزنكيَحْزُنكَgrieve youqawluhumقولهمقَوْلُهُمْtheir speech.innāإناإِنَّاIndeed, Wenaʿlamuنعلمنَعْلَمُ[We] knowمامَاwhatyusirrūnaيسرونيُسِرُّونَthey concealwamāوماوَمَاand whatyuʿ'linūnaيعلنونيُعْلِنُونَthey declare.So let not their speech grieve thee (O Muhammad). Lo! We know what they conceal and what proclaim.Do not let their words grieve you. Surely We know what they conceal and what they reveal.So let not their speech grieve you. Indeed, We know what they conceal and what they declare.Let not their speech, then, grieve thee. Verily We know what they hide as well as what they disclose.
77 أَوَلَمۡ يَرَ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ أَنَّا خَلَقۡنَٰهُ مِن نُّطۡفَةٖ فَإِذَا هُوَ خَصِيمٞ مُّبِينٞawalamأولمأَوَلَمْDoes notyaraيريَرَseel-insānuالإنسانٱلْإِنسَٰنُ[the] manannāأناأَنَّاthat Wekhalaqnāhuخلقناهخَلَقْنَٰهُ[We] created himminمنمِنfromnuṭ'fatinنطفةنُّطْفَةٍa semen-dropfa-idhāفإذافَإِذَاThen behold!huwaهوهُوَHekhaṣīmunخصيمخَصِيمٌ(is) an opponentmubīnunمبينمُّبِينٌclear.Hath not man seen that We have created him from a drop of seed? Yet lo! he is an open opponent.Does man not see that We have created him from a sperm-drop, then[22] he becomes a clear adversary,Does man not consider that We created him from a [mere] sperm-drop - then at once[1283] he is a clear adversary?Doth not man see that it is We Who created him from sperm? yet behold! he (stands forth) as an open adversary!
78 وَضَرَبَ لَنَا مَثَلٗا وَنَسِيَ خَلۡقَهُۥۖ قَالَ مَن يُحۡيِ ٱلۡعِظَٰمَ وَهِيَ رَمِيمٞwaḍarabaوضربوَضَرَبَAnd he sets forthlanāلنالَنَاfor Usmathalanمثلامَثَلًاan examplewanasiyaونسيوَنَسِىَand forgetskhalqahuخلقهخَلْقَهُۥhis (own) creation.qālaقالقَالَHe says,manمنمَن"Whoyuḥ'yīيحيييُحْىِwill give lifel-ʿiẓāmaالعظامٱلْعِظَٰمَ(to) the boneswahiyaوهيوَهِىَwhile theyramīmunرميمرَمِيمٌ(are) decomposed?"And he hath coined for Us a similitude, and hath forgotten the fact of his creation, saying: Who will revive these bones when they have rotted away?producing arguments[23] against Us while forgetting his own creation[24]. He says, “Who can give life to the bones after they have crumbled to dust?”And he presents for Us an example[1284] and forgets his [own] creation. He says, "Who will give life to bones while they are disintegrated?"And he makes comparisons for Us, and forgets his own (origin and) Creation: He says, "Who can give life to (dry) bones and decomposed ones (at that)?"
79 قُلۡ يُحۡيِيهَا ٱلَّذِيٓ أَنشَأَهَآ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٖۖ وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ خَلۡقٍ عَلِيمٌqulقلقُلْSay,yuḥ'yīhāيحييهايُحْيِيهَا"He will give them lifealladhīالذيٱلَّذِىٓWhoansha-ahāأنشأهاأَنشَأَهَآproduced themawwalaأولأَوَّلَ(the) firstmarratinمرةمَرَّةٍtime;wahuwaوهووَهُوَand Hebikulliبكلبِكُلِّ(is) of everykhalqinخلقخَلْقٍcreationʿalīmunعليمعَلِيمٌAll-Knower."Say: He will revive them Who produced them at the first, for He is Knower of every creation,Say, “The One Who created them in the first place will give life to them, for He has full knowledge of every created being;Say, "He will give them life who produced them the first time; and He is, of all creation, Knowing."Say, "He will give them life Who created them for the first time! for He is Well-versed in every kind of creation!-
80 ٱلَّذِي جَعَلَ لَكُم مِّنَ ٱلشَّجَرِ ٱلۡأَخۡضَرِ نَارٗا فَإِذَآ أَنتُم مِّنۡهُ تُوقِدُونَalladhīالذيٱلَّذِىThe One Whojaʿalaجعلجَعَلَmadelakumلكملَكُمfor youminaمنمِّنَfroml-shajariالشجرٱلشَّجَرِthe treel-akhḍariالأخضرٱلْأَخْضَرِ[the] green -nāranنارانَارًاfire,fa-idhāفإذافَإِذَآand behold!antumأنتمأَنتُمYoumin'huمنهمِّنْهُfrom ittūqidūnaتوقدونتُوقِدُونَignite.Who hath appointed for you fire from the green tree, and behold! ye kindle from it.the One Who made for you fire out of the green tree, with which you kindle your fires[25].”[It is] He who made for you from the green tree, fire, and then from it you ignite."The same Who produces for you fire out of the green tree, when behold! ye kindle therewith (your own fires)!
81 أَوَلَيۡسَ ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ بِقَٰدِرٍ عَلَىٰٓ أَن يَخۡلُقَ مِثۡلَهُمۚ بَلَىٰ وَهُوَ ٱلۡخَلَّٰقُ ٱلۡعَلِيمُawalaysaأوليسأَوَلَيْسَIs it notalladhīالذيٱلَّذِى(He) Whokhalaqaخلقخَلَقَcreatedl-samāwātiالسماواتٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِthe heavenswal-arḍaوالأرضوَٱلْأَرْضَand the earthbiqādirinبقادربِقَٰدِرٍAbleʿalāعلىعَلَىٰٓtoanأنأَن[that]yakhluqaيخلقيَخْلُقَcreatemith'lahumمثلهممِثْلَهُم(the) like of them.balāبلىبَلَىٰYes, indeed!wahuwaوهووَهُوَand Hel-khalāquالخلاقٱلْخَلَّٰقُ(is) the Supreme Creator,l-ʿalīmuالعليمٱلْعَلِيمُthe All-Knower.Is not He Who created the heavens and the earth Able to create the like of them? Aye, that He is! for He is the All-Wise Creator,Is not the One Who created the heavens and earth able to create the like of these [people]? Yes indeed, for He is the Creator of all, the All-Knowing.Is not He who created the heavens and the earth Able to create the likes of them? Yes, [it is so]; and He is the Knowing Creator."Is not He Who created the heavens and the earth able to create the like thereof?" - Yea, indeed! for He is the Creator Supreme, of skill and knowledge (infinite)!
82 إِنَّمَآ أَمۡرُهُۥٓ إِذَآ أَرَادَ شَيۡـًٔا أَن يَقُولَ لَهُۥ كُن فَيَكُونُinnamāإنماإِنَّمَآOnlyamruhuأمرهأَمْرُهُۥٓHis CommandidhāإذاإِذَآwhenarādaأرادأَرَادَHe intendsshayanشيئاشَيْـًٔاa thinganأنأَنthatyaqūlaيقوليَقُولَHe sayslahuلهلَهُۥto it,kunكنكُن"Be,"fayakūnuفيكونفَيَكُونُand it is.But His command, when He intendeth a thing, is only that He saith unto it: Be! and it is.Whenever He wills something to be, He only says to it, “Be”, and it is.His command is only when He intends a thing that He says to it, "Be," and it is.Verily, when He intends a thing, His Command is, "be", and it is!
83 فَسُبۡحَٰنَ ٱلَّذِي بِيَدِهِۦ مَلَكُوتُ كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ وَإِلَيۡهِ تُرۡجَعُونَfasub'ḥānaفسبحانفَسُبْحَٰنَSo glory bealladhīالذيٱلَّذِى(to) the One whobiyadihiبيدهبِيَدِهِۦin Whose handmalakūtuملكوتمَلَكُوتُis (the) dominionkulliكلكُلِّ(of) allshayinشيءشَىْءٍthings,wa-ilayhiوإليهوَإِلَيْهِand to Himtur'jaʿūnaترجعونتُرْجَعُونَyou will be returned.Therefor Glory be to Him in Whose hand is the dominion over all things! Unto Him ye will be brought back.So glory be to the One in Whose Hand is the dominion of everything, and to Him you will all be returned.So exalted is He in whose hand is the realm of all things, and to Him you will be returned.So glory to Him in Whose hands is the dominion of all things: and to Him will ye be all brought back.

2 وَالْقُرْآنِ الْحَكِيمِ
3 إِنَّكَ لَمِنَ الْمُرْسَلِينَ
4 عَلَىٰ صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ
5 تَنزِيلَ الْعَزِيزِ الرَّحِيمِ
6 لِتُنذِرَ قَوْمًا مَّا أُنذِرَ آبَاؤُهُمْ فَهُمْ غَافِلُونَ
7 لَقَدْ حَقَّ الْقَوْلُ عَلَىٰ أَكْثَرِهِمْ فَهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ
8 إِنَّا جَعَلْنَا فِي أَعْنَاقِهِمْ أَغْلَالًا فَهِيَ إِلَى الْأَذْقَانِ فَهُم مُّقْمَحُونَ
9 وَجَعَلْنَا مِن بَيْنِ أَيْدِيهِمْ سَدًّا وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِمْ سَدًّا فَأَغْشَيْنَاهُمْ فَهُمْ لَا يُبْصِرُونَ
10 وَسَوَاءٌ عَلَيْهِمْ أَأَنذَرْتَهُمْ أَمْ لَمْ تُنذِرْهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ
11 إِنَّمَا تُنذِرُ مَنِ اتَّبَعَ الذِّكْرَ وَخَشِيَ الرَّحْمَٰنَ بِالْغَيْبِ فَبَشِّرْهُ بِمَغْفِرَةٍ وَأَجْرٍ كَرِيمٍ
12 إِنَّا نَحْنُ نُحْيِي الْمَوْتَىٰ وَنَكْتُبُ مَا قَدَّمُوا وَآثَارَهُمْ وَكُلَّ شَيْءٍ أَحْصَيْنَاهُ فِي إِمَامٍ مُّبِينٍ
13 وَاضْرِبْ لَهُم مَّثَلًا أَصْحَابَ الْقَرْيَةِ إِذْ جَاءَهَا الْمُرْسَلُونَ
14 إِذْ أَرْسَلْنَا إِلَيْهِمُ اثْنَيْنِ فَكَذَّبُوهُمَا فَعَزَّزْنَا بِثَالِثٍ فَقَالُوا إِنَّا إِلَيْكُم مُّرْسَلُونَ
15 قَالُوا مَا أَنتُمْ إِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُنَا وَمَا أَنزَلَ الرَّحْمَٰنُ مِن شَيْءٍ إِنْ أَنتُمْ إِلَّا تَكْذِبُونَ
16 قَالُوا رَبُّنَا يَعْلَمُ إِنَّا إِلَيْكُمْ لَمُرْسَلُونَ
17 وَمَا عَلَيْنَا إِلَّا الْبَلَاغُ الْمُبِينُ
18 قَالُوا إِنَّا تَطَيَّرْنَا بِكُمْ لَئِن لَّمْ تَنتَهُوا لَنَرْجُمَنَّكُمْ وَلَيَمَسَّنَّكُم مِّنَّا عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ
19 قَالُوا طَائِرُكُم مَّعَكُمْ أَئِن ذُكِّرْتُم بَلْ أَنتُمْ قَوْمٌ مُّسْرِفُونَ
20 وَجَاءَ مِنْ أَقْصَى الْمَدِينَةِ رَجُلٌ يَسْعَىٰ قَالَ يَا قَوْمِ اتَّبِعُوا الْمُرْسَلِينَ
21 اتَّبِعُوا مَن لَّا يَسْأَلُكُمْ أَجْرًا وَهُم مُّهْتَدُونَ
22 وَمَا لِيَ لَا أَعْبُدُ الَّذِي فَطَرَنِي وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ
23 أَأَتَّخِذُ مِن دُونِهِ آلِهَةً إِن يُرِدْنِ الرَّحْمَٰنُ بِضُرٍّ لَّا تُغْنِ عَنِّي شَفَاعَتُهُمْ شَيْئًا وَلَا يُنقِذُونِ
24 إِنِّي إِذًا لَّفِي ضَلَالٍ مُّبِينٍ
25 إِنِّي آمَنتُ بِرَبِّكُمْ فَاسْمَعُونِ
26 قِيلَ ادْخُلِ الْجَنَّةَ قَالَ يَا لَيْتَ قَوْمِي يَعْلَمُونَ
27 بِمَا غَفَرَ لِي رَبِّي وَجَعَلَنِي مِنَ الْمُكْرَمِينَ
28 ۞ وَمَا أَنزَلْنَا عَلَىٰ قَوْمِهِ مِن بَعْدِهِ مِن جُندٍ مِّنَ السَّمَاءِ وَمَا كُنَّا مُنزِلِينَ
29 إِن كَانَتْ إِلَّا صَيْحَةً وَاحِدَةً فَإِذَا هُمْ خَامِدُونَ
30 يَا حَسْرَةً عَلَى الْعِبَادِ مَا يَأْتِيهِم مِّن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا كَانُوا بِهِ يَسْتَهْزِئُونَ
31 أَلَمْ يَرَوْا كَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا قَبْلَهُم مِّنَ الْقُرُونِ أَنَّهُمْ إِلَيْهِمْ لَا يَرْجِعُونَ
32 وَإِن كُلٌّ لَّمَّا جَمِيعٌ لَّدَيْنَا مُحْضَرُونَ
33 وَآيَةٌ لَّهُمُ الْأَرْضُ الْمَيْتَةُ أَحْيَيْنَاهَا وَأَخْرَجْنَا مِنْهَا حَبًّا فَمِنْهُ يَأْكُلُونَ
34 وَجَعَلْنَا فِيهَا جَنَّاتٍ مِّن نَّخِيلٍ وَأَعْنَابٍ وَفَجَّرْنَا فِيهَا مِنَ الْعُيُونِ
35 لِيَأْكُلُوا مِن ثَمَرِهِ وَمَا عَمِلَتْهُ أَيْدِيهِمْ أَفَلَا يَشْكُرُونَ
36 سُبْحَانَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ الْأَزْوَاجَ كُلَّهَا مِمَّا تُنبِتُ الْأَرْضُ وَمِنْ أَنفُسِهِمْ وَمِمَّا لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
37 وَآيَةٌ لَّهُمُ اللَّيْلُ نَسْلَخُ مِنْهُ النَّهَارَ فَإِذَا هُم مُّظْلِمُونَ
38 وَالشَّمْسُ تَجْرِي لِمُسْتَقَرٍّ لَّهَا ذَٰلِكَ تَقْدِيرُ الْعَزِيزِ الْعَلِيمِ
39 وَالْقَمَرَ قَدَّرْنَاهُ مَنَازِلَ حَتَّىٰ عَادَ كَالْعُرْجُونِ الْقَدِيمِ
40 لَا الشَّمْسُ يَنبَغِي لَهَا أَن تُدْرِكَ الْقَمَرَ وَلَا اللَّيْلُ سَابِقُ النَّهَارِ وَكُلٌّ فِي فَلَكٍ يَسْبَحُونَ
41 وَآيَةٌ لَّهُمْ أَنَّا حَمَلْنَا ذُرِّيَّتَهُمْ فِي الْفُلْكِ الْمَشْحُونِ
42 وَخَلَقْنَا لَهُم مِّن مِّثْلِهِ مَا يَرْكَبُونَ
43 وَإِن نَّشَأْ نُغْرِقْهُمْ فَلَا صَرِيخَ لَهُمْ وَلَا هُمْ يُنقَذُونَ
44 إِلَّا رَحْمَةً مِّنَّا وَمَتَاعًا إِلَىٰ حِينٍ
45 وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ اتَّقُوا مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيكُمْ وَمَا خَلْفَكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ
46 وَمَا تَأْتِيهِم مِّنْ آيَةٍ مِّنْ آيَاتِ رَبِّهِمْ إِلَّا كَانُوا عَنْهَا مُعْرِضِينَ
47 وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ أَنفِقُوا مِمَّا رَزَقَكُمُ اللَّهُ قَالَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَنُطْعِمُ مَن لَّوْ يَشَاءُ اللَّهُ أَطْعَمَهُ إِنْ أَنتُمْ إِلَّا فِي ضَلَالٍ مُّبِينٍ
48 وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَىٰ هَٰذَا الْوَعْدُ إِن كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ
49 مَا يَنظُرُونَ إِلَّا صَيْحَةً وَاحِدَةً تَأْخُذُهُمْ وَهُمْ يَخِصِّمُونَ
50 فَلَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ تَوْصِيَةً وَلَا إِلَىٰ أَهْلِهِمْ يَرْجِعُونَ
51 وَنُفِخَ فِي الصُّورِ فَإِذَا هُم مِّنَ الْأَجْدَاثِ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِمْ يَنسِلُونَ
52 قَالُوا يَا وَيْلَنَا مَن بَعَثَنَا مِن مَّرْقَدِنَا هَٰذَا مَا وَعَدَ الرَّحْمَٰنُ وَصَدَقَ الْمُرْسَلُونَ
53 إِن كَانَتْ إِلَّا صَيْحَةً وَاحِدَةً فَإِذَا هُمْ جَمِيعٌ لَّدَيْنَا مُحْضَرُونَ
54 فَالْيَوْمَ لَا تُظْلَمُ نَفْسٌ شَيْئًا وَلَا تُجْزَوْنَ إِلَّا مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
55 إِنَّ أَصْحَابَ الْجَنَّةِ الْيَوْمَ فِي شُغُلٍ فَاكِهُونَ
56 هُمْ وَأَزْوَاجُهُمْ فِي ظِلَالٍ عَلَى الْأَرَائِكِ مُتَّكِئُونَ
57 لَهُمْ فِيهَا فَاكِهَةٌ وَلَهُم مَّا يَدَّعُونَ
58 سَلَامٌ قَوْلًا مِّن رَّبٍّ رَّحِيمٍ
59 وَامْتَازُوا الْيَوْمَ أَيُّهَا الْمُجْرِمُونَ
60 ۞ أَلَمْ أَعْهَدْ إِلَيْكُمْ يَا بَنِي آدَمَ أَن لَّا تَعْبُدُوا الشَّيْطَانَ إِنَّهُ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ مُّبِينٌ
61 وَأَنِ اعْبُدُونِي هَٰذَا صِرَاطٌ مُّسْتَقِيمٌ
62 وَلَقَدْ أَضَلَّ مِنكُمْ جِبِلًّا كَثِيرًا أَفَلَمْ تَكُونُوا تَعْقِلُونَ
63 هَٰذِهِ جَهَنَّمُ الَّتِي كُنتُمْ تُوعَدُونَ
64 اصْلَوْهَا الْيَوْمَ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَكْفُرُونَ
65 الْيَوْمَ نَخْتِمُ عَلَىٰ أَفْوَاهِهِمْ وَتُكَلِّمُنَا أَيْدِيهِمْ وَتَشْهَدُ أَرْجُلُهُم بِمَا كَانُوا يَكْسِبُونَ
66 وَلَوْ نَشَاءُ لَطَمَسْنَا عَلَىٰ أَعْيُنِهِمْ فَاسْتَبَقُوا الصِّرَاطَ فَأَنَّىٰ يُبْصِرُونَ
67 وَلَوْ نَشَاءُ لَمَسَخْنَاهُمْ عَلَىٰ مَكَانَتِهِمْ فَمَا اسْتَطَاعُوا مُضِيًّا وَلَا يَرْجِعُونَ
68 وَمَن نُّعَمِّرْهُ نُنَكِّسْهُ فِي الْخَلْقِ أَفَلَا يَعْقِلُونَ
69 وَمَا عَلَّمْنَاهُ الشِّعْرَ وَمَا يَنبَغِي لَهُ إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكْرٌ وَقُرْآنٌ مُّبِينٌ
70 لِّيُنذِرَ مَن كَانَ حَيًّا وَيَحِقَّ الْقَوْلُ عَلَى الْكَافِرِينَ
71 أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا أَنَّا خَلَقْنَا لَهُم مِّمَّا عَمِلَتْ أَيْدِينَا أَنْعَامًا فَهُمْ لَهَا مَالِكُونَ
72 وَذَلَّلْنَاهَا لَهُمْ فَمِنْهَا رَكُوبُهُمْ وَمِنْهَا يَأْكُلُونَ
73 وَلَهُمْ فِيهَا مَنَافِعُ وَمَشَارِبُ أَفَلَا يَشْكُرُونَ
74 وَاتَّخَذُوا مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ آلِهَةً لَّعَلَّهُمْ يُنصَرُونَ
75 لَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ نَصْرَهُمْ وَهُمْ لَهُمْ جُندٌ مُّحْضَرُونَ
76 فَلَا يَحْزُنكَ قَوْلُهُمْ إِنَّا نَعْلَمُ مَا يُسِرُّونَ وَمَا يُعْلِنُونَ
77 أَوَلَمْ يَرَ الْإِنسَانُ أَنَّا خَلَقْنَاهُ مِن نُّطْفَةٍ فَإِذَا هُوَ خَصِيمٌ مُّبِينٌ
78 وَضَرَبَ لَنَا مَثَلًا وَنَسِيَ خَلْقَهُ قَالَ مَن يُحْيِي الْعِظَامَ وَهِيَ رَمِيمٌ
79 قُلْ يُحْيِيهَا الَّذِي أَنشَأَهَا أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ خَلْقٍ عَلِيمٌ
80 الَّذِي جَعَلَ لَكُم مِّنَ الشَّجَرِ الْأَخْضَرِ نَارًا فَإِذَا أَنتُم مِّنْهُ تُوقِدُونَ
81 أَوَلَيْسَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ بِقَادِرٍ عَلَىٰ أَن يَخْلُقَ مِثْلَهُم بَلَىٰ وَهُوَ الْخَلَّاقُ الْعَلِيمُ
82 إِنَّمَا أَمْرُهُ إِذَا أَرَادَ شَيْئًا أَن يَقُولَ لَهُ كُن فَيَكُونُ
83 فَسُبْحَانَ الَّذِي بِيَدِهِ مَلَكُوتُ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ
1 يسٓya-seenيسيسٓYa Seen.Ya Sin.Yā Sīn[1]Yā, Seen.[1260]Ya Sin.
2 وَٱلْقُرْءَانِ ٱلْحَكِيمِwal-qur'āniوالقرآنوَٱلْقُرْءَانِBy the Quranl-ḥakīmiالحكيمٱلْحَكِيمِthe Wise.By the wise Qur'an,By the Qur’an, full of wisdom,By the wise[1261] Qur’ān,By the Qur'an, full of Wisdom,-
3 إِنَّكَ لَمِنَ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَinnakaإنكإِنَّكَIndeed, youlaminaلمنلَمِنَ(are) amongl-mur'salīnaالمرسلينٱلْمُرْسَلِينَthe Messengers,Lo! thou art of those sentYou [O Muhammad] are indeed one of the messengers,Indeed you, [O Muḥammad], are from among the messengers,Thou art indeed one of the messengers,
4 عَلَىٰ صِرَٰطٖ مُّسْتَقِيمٖʿalāعلىعَلَىٰOnṣirāṭinصراطصِرَٰطٍa Pathmus'taqīminمستقيممُّسْتَقِيمٍStraight.On a straight path,on a straight path,On a straight path.On a Straight Way.
5 تَنزِيلَ ٱلْعَزِيزِ ٱلرَّحِيمِtanzīlaتنزيلتَنزِيلَA revelationl-ʿazīziالعزيزٱلْعَزِيزِ(of) the All-Mighty,l-raḥīmiالرحيمٱلرَّحِيمِthe Most Merciful,A revelation of the Mighty, the Merciful,[This is] a revelation from the All-Mighty, Most Merciful,[This is] a revelation of the Exalted in Might, the Merciful,It is a Revelation sent down by (Him), the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful.
6 لِتُنذِرَ قَوْمٗا مَّآ أُنذِرَ ءَابَآؤُهُمْ فَهُمْ غَٰفِلُونَlitundhiraلتنذرلِتُنذِرَThat you may warnqawmanقوماقَوْمًاa peopleمامَّآnotundhiraأنذرأُنذِرَwere warnedābāuhumآباؤهمءَابَآؤُهُمْtheir forefathers,fahumفهمفَهُمْso theyghāfilūnaغافلونغَٰفِلُونَ(are) heedless.That thou mayst warn a folk whose fathers were not warned, so they are heedless.so that you warn a people whose forefathers were not warned, so they are heedless.That you may warn a people whose forefathers were not warned, so they are unaware.In order that thou mayest admonish a people, whose fathers had received no admonition, and who therefore remain heedless (of the Signs of Allah).
7 لَقَدْ حَقَّ ٱلْقَوْلُ عَلَىٰٓ أَكْثَرِهِمْ فَهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَlaqadلقدلَقَدْCertainly,ḥaqqaحقحَقَّ(has) proved truel-qawluالقولٱلْقَوْلُthe wordʿalāعلىعَلَىٰٓuponaktharihimأكثرهمأَكْثَرِهِمْmost of themfahumفهمفَهُمْso theyلالَا(do) notyu'minūnaيؤمنونيُؤْمِنُونَbelieve.Already hath the judgment, (for their infidelity) proved true of most of them, for they believe not.The decree [of punishment] has been passed against most of them, for they will not believe.Already the word [i.e., decree] has come into effect upon most of them, so they do not believe.The Word is proved true against the greater part of them: for they do not believe.
8 إِنَّا جَعَلْنَا فِيٓ أَعْنَٰقِهِمْ أَغْلَٰلٗا فَهِيَ إِلَى ٱلْأَذْقَانِ فَهُم مُّقْمَحُونَinnāإناإِنَّاIndeed, Wejaʿalnāجعلناجَعَلْنَا[We] have placedفيفِىٓonaʿnāqihimأعناقهمأَعْنَٰقِهِمْtheir necksaghlālanأغلالاأَغْلَٰلًاiron collars,fahiyaفهيفَهِىَand theyilāإلىإِلَى(are up) tol-adhqāniالأذقانٱلْأَذْقَانِthe chins,fahumفهمفَهُمso theymuq'maḥūnaمقمحونمُّقْمَحُونَ(are with) heads raised up.Lo! We have put on their necks carcans reaching unto the chins, so that they are made stiff-necked.[It is as if] We have placed shackles around their necks up to their chins, so their heads are forced to remain up,Indeed, We have put shackles on their necks, and they are to their chins, so they are with heads [kept] aloft.We have put yokes round their necks right up to their chins, so that their heads are forced up (and they cannot see).
9 وَجَعَلْنَا مِنۢ بَيْنِ أَيْدِيهِمْ سَدّٗا وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِمْ سَدّٗا فَأَغْشَيْنَٰهُمْ فَهُمْ لَا يُبْصِرُونَwajaʿalnāوجعلناوَجَعَلْنَاAnd We have mademinمنمِنۢbefore thembayniبينبَيْنِbefore themaydīhimأيديهمأَيْدِيهِمْbefore themsaddanسداسَدًّاa barrierwaminومنوَمِنْand behind themkhalfihimخلفهمخَلْفِهِمْand behind themsaddanسداسَدًّاa barrier.fa-aghshaynāhumفأغشيناهمفَأَغْشَيْنَٰهُمْand We covered them,fahumفهمفَهُمْso theyلالَا(do) notyub'ṣirūnaيبصرونيُبْصِرُونَsee.And We have set a bar before them and a bar behind them, and (thus) have covered them so that they see not.and We have placed a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and have blocked their vision so they cannot see[2].And We have put before them a barrier and behind them a barrier and covered them, so they do not see.And We have put a bar in front of them and a bar behind them, and further, We have covered them up; so that they cannot see.
10 وَسَوَآءٌ عَلَيْهِمْ ءَأَنذَرْتَهُمْ أَمْ لَمْ تُنذِرْهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَwasawāonوسواءوَسَوَآءٌAnd it (is) sameʿalayhimعليهمعَلَيْهِمْto thema-andhartahumأأنذرتهمءَأَنذَرْتَهُمْwhether you warn themamأمأَمْorlamلملَمْ(do) nottundhir'humتنذرهمتُنذِرْهُمْwarn them,لالَاnotyu'minūnaيؤمنونيُؤْمِنُونَthey will believe.Whether thou warn them or thou warn them not, it is alike for them, for they believe not.It is the same to them whether you warn them or not, they will not believe.And it is all the same for them whether you warn them or do not warn them - they will not believe.The same is it to them whether thou admonish them or thou do not admonish them: they will not believe.
11 إِنَّمَا تُنذِرُ مَنِ ٱتَّبَعَ ٱلذِّكْرَ وَخَشِيَ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنَ بِٱلْغَيْبِۖ فَبَشِّرْهُ بِمَغْفِرَةٖ وَأَجْرٖ كَرِيمٍinnamāإنماإِنَّمَاOnlytundhiruتنذرتُنذِرُyou (can) warnmaniمنمَنِ(him) whoittabaʿaاتبعٱتَّبَعَfollowsl-dhik'raالذكرٱلذِّكْرَthe Reminderwakhashiyaوخشيوَخَشِىَand fearsl-raḥmānaالرحمنٱلرَّحْمَٰنَthe Most Graciousbil-ghaybiبالغيببِٱلْغَيْبِin the unseen.fabashir'huفبشرهفَبَشِّرْهُSo give him glad tidingsbimaghfiratinبمغفرةبِمَغْفِرَةٍof forgivenesswa-ajrinوأجروَأَجْرٍand a rewardkarīminكريمكَرِيمٍnoble.Thou warnest only him who followeth the Reminder and feareth the Beneficent in secret. To him bear tidings of forgiveness and a rich reward.You can only warn one who follows the Reminder[3] and fears the Most Compassionate unseen. So give him glad tidings of forgiveness and a generous reward.You can only warn one who follows the message and fears the Most Merciful unseen. So give him good tidings of forgiveness and noble reward.Thou canst but admonish such a one as follows the Message and fears the (Lord) Most Gracious, unseen: give such a one, therefore, good tidings, of Forgiveness and a Reward most generous.
12 إِنَّا نَحْنُ نُحْيِ ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ وَنَكْتُبُ مَا قَدَّمُواْ وَءَاثَٰرَهُمْۚ وَكُلَّ شَيْءٍ أَحْصَيْنَٰهُ فِيٓ إِمَامٖ مُّبِينٖinnāإناإِنَّاIndeed, Wenaḥnuنحننَحْنُ[We]nuḥ'yīنحيينُحْىِ[We] give lifel-mawtāالموتىٱلْمَوْتَىٰ(to) the deadwanaktubuونكتبوَنَكْتُبُand We recordمامَاwhatqaddamūقدمواقَدَّمُواْthey have sent beforewaāthārahumوآثارهموَءَاثَٰرَهُمْand their footprints,wakullaوكلوَكُلَّand everyshayinشيءشَىْءٍthingaḥṣaynāhuأحصيناهأَحْصَيْنَٰهُWe have enumerated itفيفِىٓinimāminإمامإِمَامٍa Registermubīninمبينمُّبِينٍclear.Lo! We it is Who bring the dead to life. We record that which they send before (them, and their footprints. And all things We have kept in a clear Register.It is We Who give life to the dead, and record what they send forth and what they leave behind, and We keep an account of everything in a clear Record[4].Indeed, it is We who bring the dead to life and record what they have put forth and what they left behind, and all things We have enumerated in a clear register.Verily We shall give life to the dead, and We record that which they send before and that which they leave behind, and of all things have We taken account in a clear Book (of evidence).
13 وَٱضْرِبْ لَهُم مَّثَلًا أَصْحَٰبَ ٱلْقَرْيَةِ إِذْ جَآءَهَا ٱلْمُرْسَلُونَwa-iḍ'ribواضربوَٱضْرِبْAnd set forthlahumلهملَهُمto themmathalanمثلامَّثَلًاan exampleaṣḥābaأصحابأَصْحَٰبَ(of the) companionsl-qaryatiالقريةٱلْقَرْيَةِ(of) the city,idhإذإِذْwhenjāahāجاءهاجَآءَهَاcame to itl-mur'salūnaالمرسلونٱلْمُرْسَلُونَthe Messengers,Coin for them a similitude: The people of the city when those sent (from Allah) came unto them;Give them an example of the People of the Town when the messengers came to it.And present to them an example: the people of the city, when the messengers came to it -Set forth to them, by way of a parable, the (story of) the Companions of the City. Behold!, there came messengers to it.
14 إِذْ أَرْسَلْنَآ إِلَيْهِمُ ٱثْنَيْنِ فَكَذَّبُوهُمَا فَعَزَّزْنَا بِثَالِثٖ فَقَالُوٓاْ إِنَّآ إِلَيْكُم مُّرْسَلُونَidhإذإِذْWhenarsalnāأرسلناأَرْسَلْنَآWe sentilayhimuإليهمإِلَيْهِمُto themith'nayniاثنينٱثْنَيْنِtwo (Messengers)fakadhabūhumāفكذبوهمافَكَذَّبُوهُمَاbut they denied both of them,faʿazzaznāفعززنافَعَزَّزْنَاso We strengthened thembithālithinبثالثبِثَالِثٍwith a third,faqālūفقالوافَقَالُوٓاْand they said,innāإناإِنَّآ"Indeed, Weilaykumإليكمإِلَيْكُمto youmur'salūnaمرسلونمُّرْسَلُونَ(are) Messengers."When We sent unto them twain, and they denied them both, so We reinforced them with a third, and they said: Lo! we have been sent unto you.When We sent them two [messengers], but they rejected them, so We strengthened them with a third, and they said, “We are sent to you as messengers.”When We sent to them two but they denied them, so We strengthened [them] with a third, and they said, "Indeed, we are messengers to you."When We (first) sent to them two messengers, they rejected them: But We strengthened them with a third: they said, "Truly, we have been sent on a mission to you."
15 قَالُواْ مَآ أَنتُمْ إِلَّا بَشَرَ مِّثْلُنَا وَمَآ أَنزَلَ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ مِن شَيْءٍ إِنْ أَنتُمْ إِلَّا تَكْذِبُونَqālūقالواقَالُواْThey said,مامَآ"Notantumأنتمأَنتُمْyouillāإلاإِلَّا(are) butbasharunبشربَشَرٌhuman beingsmith'lunāمثلنامِّثْلُنَاlike us,wamāوماوَمَآand notanzalaأنزلأَنزَلَhas revealedl-raḥmānuالرحمنٱلرَّحْمَٰنُthe Most Graciousminمنمِنanyshayinشيءشَىْءٍthing.inإنإِنْNotantumأنتمأَنتُمْyouillāإلاإِلَّا(are) buttakdhibūnaتكذبونتَكْذِبُونَlying."They said: Ye are but mortals like unto us. The Beneficent hath naught revealed. Ye do but lie!They said, “You are no more than human beings like us, and the Most Compassionate has not sent down anything. You are simply lying.”They said, "You are not but human beings like us, and the Most Merciful has not revealed a thing. You are only telling lies."The (people) said: "Ye are only men like ourselves; and (Allah) Most Gracious sends no sort of revelation: ye do nothing but lie."
16 قَالُواْ رَبُّنَا يَعْلَمُ إِنَّآ إِلَيْكُمْ لَمُرْسَلُونَqālūقالواقَالُواْThey said,rabbunāربنارَبُّنَا"Our Lord,yaʿlamuيعلميَعْلَمُknowsinnāإناإِنَّآthat weilaykumإليكمإِلَيْكُمْto youlamur'salūnaلمرسلونلَمُرْسَلُونَ(are) surely Messengers,They answered: Our Lord knoweth that we are indeed sent unto you,They said, “Our Lord knows that we are sent to you as messengers.They said, "Our Lord knows that we are messengers to you,They said: "Our Lord doth know that we have been sent on a mission to you:
17 وَمَا عَلَيْنَآ إِلَّا ٱلْبَلَٰغُ ٱلْمُبِينُwamāوماوَمَاAnd notʿalaynāعليناعَلَيْنَآ(is) on usillāإلاإِلَّاexceptl-balāghuالبلاغٱلْبَلَٰغُthe conveyancel-mubīnuالمبينٱلْمُبِينُclear."And our duty is but plain conveyance (of the message).Our duty is only to convey the message clearly.”And we are not responsible except for clear notification.""And our duty is only to proclaim the clear Message."
18 قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّا تَطَيَّرْنَا بِكُمْۖ لَئِن لَّمْ تَنتَهُواْ لَنَرْجُمَنَّكُمْ وَلَيَمَسَّنَّكُم مِّنَّا عَذَابٌ أَلِيمَqālūقالواقَالُوٓاْThey said,innāإناإِنَّا"Indeed, wetaṭayyarnāتطيرناتَطَيَّرْنَا[we] see an evil omenbikumبكمبِكُمْfrom you.la-inلئنلَئِنIflamلملَّمْnottantahūتنتهواتَنتَهُواْyou desist,lanarjumannakumلنرجمنكملَنَرْجُمَنَّكُمْsurely, we will stone you,walayamassannakumوليمسنكموَلَيَمَسَّنَّكُمand surely will touch youminnāمنامِّنَّاfrom usʿadhābunعذابعَذَابٌa punishmentalīmunأليمأَلِيمٌpainful."(The people of the city) said: We augur ill of you. If ye desist not, we shall surely stone you, and grievous torture will befall you at our hands.The people said, “We consider you as an evil omen. If you do not desist, we will surely stone you, and we will inflict upon you a painful punishment.”They said, "Indeed, we consider you a bad omen. If you do not desist, we will surely stone you, and there will surely touch you, from us, a painful punishment."The (people) said: "for us, we augur an evil omen from you: if ye desist not, we will certainly stone you. And a grievous punishment indeed will be inflicted on you by us."
19 قَالُواْ طَٰٓئِرُكُم مَّعَكُمْ أَئِن ذُكِّرْتُمۚ بَلْ أَنتُمْ قَوْمَ مُّسْرِفُونَqālūقالواقَالُواْThey said,ṭāirukumطائركمطَٰٓئِرُكُم"Your evil omenmaʿakumمعكممَّعَكُمْ(be) with you!a-inأئنأَئِنIs it becausedhukkir'tumذكرتمذُكِّرْتُمyou are admonished?balبلبَلْNay,antumأنتمأَنتُمْyouqawmunقومقَوْمٌ(are) a peoplemus'rifūnaمسرفونمُّسْرِفُونَtransgressing."They said: Your evil augury be with you! Is it because ye are reminded (of the truth)? Nay, but ye are froward folk!The messengers said, “Your evil omen is with yourselves [because of your disbelief]. Is it[5] because you are admonished? Rather, you are a people who transgress all bounds.”They said, "Your omen [i.e., fate] is with yourselves. Is it[1262] because you were reminded? Rather, you are a transgressing people."They said: "Your evil omens are with yourselves: (deem ye this an evil omen). If ye are admonished? Nay, but ye are a people transgressing all bounds!"
20 وَجَآءَ مِنْ أَقْصَا ٱلْمَدِينَةِ رَجُلَ يَسْعَىٰ قَالَ يَٰقَوْمِ ٱتَّبِعُواْ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَwajāaوجاءوَجَآءَAnd cameminمنمِنْfromaqṣāأقصىأَقْصَا(the) farthest endl-madīnatiالمدينةٱلْمَدِينَةِ(of) the cityrajulunرجلرَجُلٌa manyasʿāيسعىيَسْعَىٰrunning.qālaقالقَالَHe said,yāqawmiيا قوميَٰقَوْمِ"O my People!ittabiʿūاتبعواٱتَّبِعُواْFollowl-mur'salīnaالمرسلينٱلْمُرْسَلِينَthe Messengers.And there came from the uttermost part of the city a man running. He cried: O my people! Follow those who have been sent!A man came from the farthest end of the city, rushing, and said, “O my people, follow the messengers.And there came from the farthest end of the city a man, running. He said, "O my people, follow the messengers.Then there came running, from the farthest part of the City, a man, saying, "O my people! Obey the messengers:
21 ٱتَّبِعُواْ مَن لَّا يَسْـَٔلُكُمْ أَجْرٗا وَهُم مُّهْتَدُونَittabiʿūاتبعواٱتَّبِعُواْFollowmanمنمَن(those) whoلالَّا(do) notyasalukumيسألكميَسْـَٔلُكُمْask (of) youajranأجراأَجْرًاany payment,wahumوهموَهُمand theymuh'tadūnaمهتدونمُّهْتَدُونَ(are) rightly guided.Follow those who ask of you no fee, and who are rightly guided.Follow those who ask no recompense of you, and who are guided.Follow those who do not ask of you [any] payment, and they are [rightly] guided."Obey those who ask no reward of you (for themselves), and who have themselves received Guidance.
22 وَمَالِيَ لَآ أَعْبُدُ ٱلَّذِي فَطَرَنِي وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَwamāوماوَمَاAnd whatliyaليلِىَ(is) for meلالَآ(that) notaʿbuduأعبدأَعْبُدُI worshipalladhīالذيٱلَّذِىthe One Whofaṭaranīفطرنيفَطَرَنِىcreated mewa-ilayhiوإليهوَإِلَيْهِand to Whomtur'jaʿūnaترجعونتُرْجَعُونَyou will be returned?For what cause should I not serve Him Who hath created me, and unto Whom ye will be brought back?Why should I not worship the One Who created me and to Whom you will all be brought back?And why should I not worship He who created me and to whom you will be returned?"It would not be reasonable in me if I did not serve Him Who created me, and to Whom ye shall (all) be brought back.
23 ءَأَتَّخِذُ مِن دُونِهِۦٓ ءَالِهَةً إِن يُرِدْنِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ بِضُرّٖ لَّا تُغْنِ عَنِّي شَفَٰعَتُهُمْ شَيْـٔٗا وَلَا يُنقِذُونِa-attakhidhuأأتخذءَأَتَّخِذُShould I takeminمنمِنbesides Himdūnihiدونهدُونِهِۦٓbesides Himālihatanآلهةءَالِهَةًgods?inإنإِنIfyurid'niيردنيُرِدْنِintends for mel-raḥmānuالرحمنٱلرَّحْمَٰنُthe Most Graciousbiḍurrinبضربِضُرٍّany harmلالَّاnottugh'niتغنتُغْنِwill availʿannīعنيعَنِّى[from] meshafāʿatuhumشفاعتهمشَفَٰعَتُهُمْtheir intercessionshayanشيئاشَيْـًٔا(in) anything,walāولاوَلَاand notyunqidhūniينقذونيُنقِذُونِthey (can) save me.Shall I take (other) gods in place of Him when, if the Beneficent should wish me any harm, their intercession will avail me naught, nor can they save?Should I take besides Him other gods whose intercession cannot avail me in the least, nor can they come to my rescue, if the Most Compassionate wills to harm me?Should I take other than Him [false] deities [while], if the Most Merciful intends for me some adversity, their intercession will not avail me at all, nor can they save me?"Shall I take (other) gods besides Him? If (Allah) Most Gracious should intend some adversity for me, of no use whatever will be their intercession for me, nor can they deliver me.
24 إِنِّيٓ إِذٗا لَّفِي ضَلَٰلٖ مُّبِينٍinnīإنيإِنِّىٓIndeed, Iidhanإذاإِذًاthenlafīلفيلَّفِىsurely would be inḍalālinضلالضَلَٰلٍan errormubīninمبينمُّبِينٍclear.Then truly I should be in error manifest.Surely I would then be clearly misguided.Indeed, I would then be in manifest error."I would indeed, if I were to do so, be in manifest Error.
25 إِنِّيٓ ءَامَنتُ بِرَبِّكُمْ فَٱسْمَعُونِinnīإنيإِنِّىٓIndeed, Iāmantuآمنتءَامَنتُ[I] have believedbirabbikumبربكمبِرَبِّكُمْin your Lord,fa-is'maʿūniفاسمعونفَٱسْمَعُونِso listen to me."Lo! I have believed in your Lord, so hear me!I believe in your Lord, so listen to me.”Indeed, I have believed in your Lord, so listen to me.""For me, I have faith in the Lord of you (all): listen, then, to me!"
26 قِيلَ ٱدْخُلِ ٱلْجَنَّةَۖ قَالَ يَٰلَيْتَ قَوْمِي يَعْلَمُونَqīlaقيلقِيلَIt was said,ud'khuliادخلٱدْخُلِ"Enterl-janataالجنةٱلْجَنَّةَParadise."qālaقالقَالَHe said,yālaytaيا ليتيَٰلَيْتَ"I wishqawmīقوميقَوْمِىmy peopleyaʿlamūnaيعلمونيَعْلَمُونَknewIt was said (unto him): Enter paradise. He said: Would that my people knew[But they killed him], so he was told[6], “Enter Paradise.” He said, “If only my people knew[7]It was said, "Enter Paradise."[1263] He said, "I wish my people could knowIt was said: "Enter thou the Garden." He said: "Ah me! Would that my People knew (what I know)!-
27 بِمَا غَفَرَ لِي رَبِّي وَجَعَلَنِي مِنَ ٱلْمُكْرَمِينَbimāبمابِمَاOf howghafaraغفرغَفَرَhas forgivenليلِىmerabbīربيرَبِّىmy Lordwajaʿalanīوجعلنيوَجَعَلَنِىand placed meminaمنمِنَamongl-muk'ramīnaالمكرمينٱلْمُكْرَمِينَthe honored ones."With what (munificence) my Lord hath pardoned me and made me of the honoured ones!of how my Lord has forgiven me, and made me among the honored ones.”Of how my Lord has forgiven me and placed me among the honored.""For that my Lord has granted me Forgiveness and has enrolled me among those held in honour!"
28 ۞ وَمَآ أَنزَلْنَا عَلَىٰ قَوْمِهِۦ مِنۢ بَعْدِهِۦ مِن جُندٖ مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَمَا كُنَّا مُنزِلِينَwamāوماوَمَآAnd notanzalnāأنزلناأَنزَلْنَاWe sent downʿalāعلىعَلَىٰuponqawmihiقومهقَوْمِهِۦhis peopleminمنمِنۢafter himbaʿdihiبعدهبَعْدِهِۦafter himminمنمِنanyjundinجندجُندٍhostminaمنمِّنَfroml-samāiالسماءٱلسَّمَآءِthe heaven,wamāوماوَمَاand notkunnāكناكُنَّاwere Wemunzilīnaمنزلينمُنزِلِينَ(to) send down.We sent not down against his people after him a host from heaven, nor do We ever send.After his death, We did not send down any soldiers from heaven against his people, nor would We have done so.And We did not send down upon his people after him any soldiers from the heaven, nor would We have done so.And We sent not down against his People, after him, any hosts from heaven, nor was it needful for Us so to do.
29 إِن كَانَتْ إِلَّا صَيْحَةٗ وَٰحِدَةٗ فَإِذَا هُمْ خَٰمِدُونَinإنإِنNotkānatكانتكَانَتْit wasillāإلاإِلَّاbutṣayḥatanصيحةصَيْحَةًa shoutwāḥidatanواحدةوَٰحِدَةًonefa-idhāفإذافَإِذَاthen behold!humهمهُمْTheykhāmidūnaخامدونخَٰمِدُونَ(were) extinguished.It was but one Shout, and lo! they were extinct.It was no more than a single blast, and immediately they were extinguished.It was not but one shout,[1264] and immediately they were extinguished.It was no more than a single mighty Blast, and behold! they were (like ashes) quenched and silent.
30 يَٰحَسْرَةً عَلَى ٱلْعِبَادِۚ مَا يَأْتِيهِم مِّن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا كَانُواْ بِهِۦ يَسْتَهْزِءُونَyāḥasratanيا حسرةيَٰحَسْرَةًAlasʿalāعلىعَلَىforl-ʿibādiالعبادٱلْعِبَادِthe servants!مامَاNotyatīhimيأتيهميَأْتِيهِمcame to themminمنمِّنanyrasūlinرسولرَّسُولٍMessengerillāإلاإِلَّاbutkānūكانواكَانُواْthey didbihiبهبِهِۦmock at him.yastahziūnaيستهزئونيَسْتَهْزِءُونَmock at him.Ah, the anguish for the bondmen! Never came there unto them a messenger but they did mock him!Alas for the humans! No messenger ever comes to them but they ridicule him.How regretful for the servants. There did not come to them any messenger except that they used to ridicule him.Ah! Alas for (My) Servants! There comes not a messenger to them but they mock him!
31 أَلَمْ يَرَوْاْ كَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا قَبْلَهُم مِّنَ ٱلْقُرُونِ أَنَّهُمْ إِلَيْهِمْ لَا يَرْجِعُونَalamألمأَلَمْDo notyarawيروايَرَوْاْthey seekamكمكَمْhow manyahlaknāأهلكناأَهْلَكْنَاWe destroyedqablahumقبلهمقَبْلَهُمbefore themminaمنمِّنَofl-qurūniالقرونٱلْقُرُونِthe generations?annahumأنهمأَنَّهُمْThat theyilayhimإليهمإِلَيْهِمْto themلالَاwill not return.yarjiʿūnaيرجعونيَرْجِعُونَwill not return.Have they not seen how many generations We destroyed before them, which indeed returned not unto them;Do they not see how many generations We destroyed before them who will never come back to them[8]?Have they not considered how many generations We destroyed before them - that they to them[1265] will not return?See they not how many generations before them we destroyed? Not to them will they return:
32 وَإِن كُلَّ لَّمَّا جَمِيعَ لَّدَيْنَا مُحْضَرُونَwa-inوإنوَإِنAnd surelykullunكلكُلٌّalllammāلمالَّمَّاthenjamīʿunجميعجَمِيعٌtogether,ladaynāلدينالَّدَيْنَاbefore Usmuḥ'ḍarūnaمحضرونمُحْضَرُونَ(will be) brought.But all, without exception, will be brought before Us.Yet all of them will be brought before Us.And indeed, all of them will yet be brought present before Us.But each one of them all - will be brought before Us (for judgment).
33 وَءَايَةَ لَّهُمُ ٱلْأَرْضُ ٱلْمَيْتَةُ أَحْيَيْنَٰهَا وَأَخْرَجْنَا مِنْهَا حَبّٗا فَمِنْهُ يَأْكُلُونَwaāyatunوآيةوَءَايَةٌAnd a Signlahumuلهملَّهُمُfor theml-arḍuالأرضٱلْأَرْضُ(is) the earthl-maytatuالميتةٱلْمَيْتَةُdead.aḥyaynāhāأحييناهاأَحْيَيْنَٰهَاWe give it lifewa-akhrajnāوأخرجناوَأَخْرَجْنَاand We bring forthmin'hāمنهامِنْهَاfrom itḥabbanحباحَبًّاgrain,famin'huفمنهفَمِنْهُand from ityakulūnaيأكلونيَأْكُلُونَthey eat.A token unto them is the dead earth. We revive it, and We bring forth from it grain so that they eat thereof;There is a sign for them in the dead land: We give it life and produce from it grain for them to eat.And a sign for them is the dead earth. We have brought it to life and brought forth from it grain, and from it they eat.A Sign for them is the earth that is dead: We do give it life, and produce grain therefrom, of which ye do eat.
34 وَجَعَلْنَا فِيهَا جَنَّٰتٖ مِّن نَّخِيلٖ وَأَعْنَٰبٖ وَفَجَّرْنَا فِيهَا مِنَ ٱلْعُيُونِwajaʿalnāوجعلناوَجَعَلْنَاAnd We placedfīhāفيهافِيهَاthereinjannātinجناتجَنَّٰتٍgardensminمنمِّنofnakhīlinنخيلنَّخِيلٍdate-palmswa-aʿnābinوأعنابوَأَعْنَٰبٍand grapevines,wafajjarnāوفجرناوَفَجَّرْنَاand We caused to gush forthfīhāفيهافِيهَاin itminaمنمِنَofl-ʿuyūniالعيونٱلْعُيُونِthe springs,And We have placed therein gardens of the date-palm and grapes, and We have caused springs of water to gush forth therein,And We have made therein gardens of palm trees and grapevines, and caused springs to gush forth,And We placed therein gardens of palm trees and grapevines and caused to burst forth therefrom some springs -And We produce therein orchard with date-palms and vines, and We cause springs to gush forth therein:
35 لِيَأْكُلُواْ مِن ثَمَرِهِۦ وَمَا عَمِلَتْهُ أَيْدِيهِمْۚ أَفَلَا يَشْكُرُونَliyakulūليأكلوالِيَأْكُلُواْThat they may eatminمنمِنofthamarihiثمرهثَمَرِهِۦits fruit.wamāوماوَمَاAnd notʿamilathuعملتهعَمِلَتْهُmade itaydīhimأيديهمأَيْدِيهِمْtheir hands.afalāأفلاأَفَلَاSo will notyashkurūnaيشكرونيَشْكُرُونَthey be grateful?That they may eat of the fruit thereof, and their hands made it not. Will they not, then, give thanks?so that they may eat of its fruit that was not made by their hands[9]. Will they not then give thanks?That they may eat of His fruit.[1266] And their hands have not produced it,[1267] so will they not be grateful?That they may enjoy the fruits of this (artistry): It was not their hands that made this: will they not then give thanks?
36 سُبْحَٰنَ ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَ ٱلْأَزْوَٰجَ كُلَّهَا مِمَّا تُنۢبِتُ ٱلْأَرْضُ وَمِنْ أَنفُسِهِمْ وَمِمَّا لَا يَعْلَمُونَsub'ḥānaسبحانسُبْحَٰنَGlory bealladhīالذيٱلَّذِى(to) the One Whokhalaqaخلقخَلَقَcreatedl-azwājaالأزواجٱلْأَزْوَٰجَ(in) pairskullahāكلهاكُلَّهَاallmimmāممامِمَّاof whattunbituتنبتتُنۢبِتُgrowsl-arḍuالأرضٱلْأَرْضُthe earthwaminومنوَمِنْand ofanfusihimأنفسهمأَنفُسِهِمْthemselves,wamimmāومماوَمِمَّاand of whatلالَاnotyaʿlamūnaيعلمونيَعْلَمُونَthey know.Glory be to Him Who created all the sexual pairs, of that which the earth groweth, and of themselves, and of that which they know not!Glory be to the One Who created all types of things[10] that the earth produces, and of themselves, and of things that they have no knowledge about.Exalted is He who created all pairs[1268] - from what the earth grows and from themselves and from that which they do not know.Glory to Allah, Who created in pairs all things that the earth produces, as well as their own (human) kind and (other) things of which they have no knowledge.
37 وَءَايَةَ لَّهُمُ ٱلَّيْلُ نَسْلَخُ مِنْهُ ٱلنَّهَارَ فَإِذَا هُم مُّظْلِمُونَwaāyatunوآيةوَءَايَةٌAnd a Signlahumuلهملَّهُمُfor themal-layluالليلٱلَّيْلُ(is) the night.naslakhuنسلخنَسْلَخُWe withdrawmin'huمنهمِنْهُfrom itl-nahāraالنهارٱلنَّهَارَthe day.fa-idhāفإذافَإِذَاThen behold!humهمهُمTheymuẓ'limūnaمظلمونمُّظْلِمُونَ(are) those in darkness.A token unto them is night. We strip it of the day, and lo! they are in darkness.There is another sign for them in the night: We strip from it the daylight, and they are left in darkness.And a sign for them is the night. We remove[1269] from it the [light of] day, so they are [left] in darkness.And a Sign for them is the Night: We withdraw therefrom the Day, and behold they are plunged in darkness;
38 وَٱلشَّمْسُ تَجْرِي لِمُسْتَقَرّٖ لَّهَاۚ ذَٰلِكَ تَقْدِيرُ ٱلْعَزِيزِ ٱلْعَلِيمِwal-shamsuوالشمسوَٱلشَّمْسُAnd the suntajrīتجريتَجْرِىrunslimus'taqarrinلمستقرلِمُسْتَقَرٍّto a term appointedlahāلهالَّهَاfor it.dhālikaذلكذَٰلِكَThattaqdīruتقديرتَقْدِيرُ(is the) Decreel-ʿazīziالعزيزٱلْعَزِيزِ(of) the All-Mighty,l-ʿalīmiالعليمٱلْعَلِيمِthe All-Knowing.And the sun runneth on unto a resting-place for him. That is the measuring of the Mighty, the Wise.The sun is running to its determined course. That is the design of the All-Mighty, All-Knowing.And the sun runs [on course] toward its stopping point. That is the determination of the Exalted in Might, the Knowing.And the sun runs his course for a period determined for him: that is the decree of (Him), the Exalted in Might, the All-Knowing.
39 وَٱلْقَمَرَ قَدَّرْنَٰهُ مَنَازِلَ حَتَّىٰ عَادَ كَٱلْعُرْجُونِ ٱلْقَدِيمِwal-qamaraوالقمروَٱلْقَمَرَAnd the moon -qaddarnāhuقدرناهقَدَّرْنَٰهُWe have ordained for itmanāzilaمنازلمَنَازِلَphasesḥattāحتىحَتَّىٰuntil,ʿādaعادعَادَit returnskal-ʿur'jūniكالعرجونكَٱلْعُرْجُونِlike the date stalk,l-qadīmiالقديمٱلْقَدِيمِthe old.And for the moon We have appointed mansions till she return like an old shrivelled palm-leaf.As for the moon, We have determined phases for it, until it becomes like an old palm stalk.And the moon - We have determined for it phases, until it returns [appearing] like the old date stalk.And the Moon,- We have measured for her mansions (to traverse) till she returns like the old (and withered) lower part of a date-stalk.
40 لَا ٱلشَّمْسُ يَنۢبَغِي لَهَآ أَن تُدْرِكَ ٱلْقَمَرَ وَلَا ٱلَّيْلُ سَابِقُ ٱلنَّهَارِۚ وَكُلَّ فِي فَلَكٖ يَسْبَحُونَلالَاNotl-shamsuالشمسٱلشَّمْسُthe sunyanbaghīينبغييَنۢبَغِىis permittedlahāلهالَهَآfor it -anأنأَنthattud'rikaتدركتُدْرِكَit overtakesl-qamaraالقمرٱلْقَمَرَthe moon,walāولاوَلَاand notal-layluالليلٱلَّيْلُthe nightsābiquسابقسَابِقُ(can) outstripl-nahāriالنهارٱلنَّهَارِthe day,wakullunوكلوَكُلٌّbut allفيفِىinfalakinفلكفَلَكٍan orbityasbaḥūnaيسبحونيَسْبَحُونَthey are floating.It is not for the sun to overtake the moon, nor doth the night outstrip the day. They float each in an orbit.It is not for the sun to catch up with the moon, nor for the night to outstrip the day. Each is floating in its own orbit.It is not allowable [i.e., possible] for the sun to reach the moon, nor does the night overtake the day, but each, in an orbit, is swimming.It is not permitted to the Sun to catch up the Moon, nor can the Night outstrip the Day: Each (just) swims along in (its own) orbit (according to Law).
41 وَءَايَةَ لَّهُمْ أَنَّا حَمَلْنَا ذُرِّيَّتَهُمْ فِي ٱلْفُلْكِ ٱلْمَشْحُونِwaāyatunوآيةوَءَايَةٌAnd a Signlahumلهملَّهُمْfor themannāأناأَنَّا(is) thatḥamalnāحملناحَمَلْنَاWe carrieddhurriyyatahumذريتهمذُرِّيَّتَهُمْtheir offspringفيفِىinl-ful'kiالفلكٱلْفُلْكِthe shipl-mashḥūniالمشحونٱلْمَشْحُونِladen.And a token unto them is that We bear their offspring in the laden ship,Another sign for them is that We carried their offspring[11] in the loaded Ark,And a sign for them is that We carried their forefathers[1270] in a laden ship.And a Sign for them is that We bore their race (through the Flood) in the loaded Ark;
42 وَخَلَقْنَا لَهُم مِّن مِّثْلِهِۦ مَا يَرْكَبُونَwakhalaqnāوخلقناوَخَلَقْنَاAnd We createdlahumلهملَهُمfor themminمنمِّنfrommith'lihiمثلهمِّثْلِهِۦ(the) likes of itمامَاwhatyarkabūnaيركبونيَرْكَبُونَthey ride.And have created for them of the like thereof whereon they ride.and We created for them similar things on which they ride.And We created for them from the likes of it that which they ride.And We have created for them similar (vessels) on which they ride.
43 وَإِن نَّشَأْ نُغْرِقْهُمْ فَلَا صَرِيخَ لَهُمْ وَلَا هُمْ يُنقَذُونَwa-inوإنوَإِنAnd ifnashaنشأنَّشَأْWe will,nugh'riq'humنغرقهمنُغْرِقْهُمْWe could drown them;falāفلافَلَاthen notṣarīkhaصريخصَرِيخَ(would be) a responder to a crylahumلهملَهُمْfor them,walāولاوَلَاand nothumهمهُمْtheyyunqadhūnaينقذونيُنقَذُونَwould be saved,And if We will, We drown them, and there is no help for them, neither can they be saved;If We willed, We could drown them, then there would be no one to respond to their cry, nor could they be rescued,And if We should will, We could drown them; then no one responding to a cry would there be for them, nor would they be savedIf it were Our Will, We could drown them: then would there be no helper (to hear their cry), nor could they be delivered,
44 إِلَّا رَحْمَةٗ مِّنَّا وَمَتَٰعًا إِلَىٰ حِينٖillāإلاإِلَّاExceptraḥmatanرحمةرَحْمَةً(by) Mercyminnāمنامِّنَّاfrom Uswamatāʿanومتاعاوَمَتَٰعًاand provisionilāإلىإِلَىٰforḥīninحينحِينٍa time.Unless by mercy from Us and as comfort for a while.except by a mercy from Us, leaving them to enjoy for a while.Except as a mercy from Us and provision for a time.Except by way of Mercy from Us, and by way of (world) convenience (to serve them) for a time.
45 وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ ٱتَّقُواْ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيكُمْ وَمَا خَلْفَكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَwa-idhāوإذاوَإِذَاAnd whenqīlaقيلقِيلَit is saidlahumuلهملَهُمُto them,ittaqūاتقواٱتَّقُواْ"Fearمامَاwhatbaynaبينبَيْنَ(is) before youaydīkumأيديكمأَيْدِيكُمْ(is) before youwamāوماوَمَاand whatkhalfakumخلفكمخَلْفَكُمْ(is) behind youlaʿallakumلعلكملَعَلَّكُمْso that you maytur'ḥamūnaترحمونتُرْحَمُونَreceive mercy."When it is said unto them: Beware of that which is before you and that which is behind you, that haply ye may find mercy (they are heedless).When it is said to them, “Beware of what is ahead of you and what is behind you[12], so that you may be shown mercy[13].”But when it is said to them, "Beware of what is before you and what is behind you;[1271] perhaps you will receive mercy..."[1272]When they are told, "Fear ye that which is before you and that which will be after you, in order that ye may receive Mercy," (they turn back).
46 وَمَا تَأْتِيهِم مِّنْ ءَايَةٖ مِّنْ ءَايَٰتِ رَبِّهِمْ إِلَّا كَانُواْ عَنْهَا مُعْرِضِينَwamāوماوَمَاAnd nottatīhimتأتيهمتَأْتِيهِمcomes to themminمنمِّنْofāyatinآيةءَايَةٍa Signminمنمِّنْfromāyātiآياتءَايَٰتِ(the) Signsrabbihimربهمرَبِّهِمْ(of) their Lord,illāإلاإِلَّاbutkānūكانواكَانُواْtheyʿanhāعنهاعَنْهَاfrom itmuʿ'riḍīnaمعرضينمُعْرِضِينَturn away.Never came a token of the tokens of their Lord to them, but they did turn away from it!No sign ever comes to them from their Lord except that they turn away from it.And no sign comes to them from the signs of their Lord except that they are from it turning away.Not a Sign comes to them from among the Signs of their Lord, but they turn away therefrom.
47 وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ أَنفِقُواْ مِمَّا رَزَقَكُمُ ٱللَّهُ قَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لِلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓاْ أَنُطْعِمُ مَن لَّوْ يَشَآءُ ٱللَّهُ أَطْعَمَهُٓ إِنْ أَنتُمْ إِلَّا فِي ضَلَٰلٖ مُّبِينٖwa-idhāوإذاوَإِذَاAnd whenqīlaقيلقِيلَit is saidlahumلهملَهُمْto them,anfiqūأنفقواأَنفِقُواْ"Spendmimmāممامِمَّاfrom whatrazaqakumuرزقكمرَزَقَكُمُ(has) provided youl-lahuاللهٱللَّهُAllah."qālaقالقَالَSaidalladhīnaالذينٱلَّذِينَthose whokafarūكفرواكَفَرُواْdisbelievedlilladhīnaللذينلِلَّذِينَto those whoāmanūآمنواءَامَنُوٓاْbelieved,anuṭ'ʿimuأنطعمأَنُطْعِمُ"Should we feedmanمنمَنwhomlawلولَّوْifyashāuيشاءيَشَآءُAllah willed -l-lahuاللهٱللَّهُAllah willed -aṭʿamahuأطعمهأَطْعَمَهُٓHe would have fed him?"inإنإِنْNotantumأنتمأَنتُمْ(are) youillāإلاإِلَّاexceptفيفِىinḍalālinضلالضَلَٰلٍan errormubīninمبينمُّبِينٍclear.And when it is said unto them: Spend of that wherewith Allah hath provided you, those who disbelieve say unto those who believe: Shall we feed those whom Allah, if He willed, would feed? Ye are in naught else than error manifest.And when it is said to them, “Spend of what Allah has provided you with”, the disbelievers say to the believers, “Should we feed those whom Allah could feed if He willed? You are clearly misguided!”And when it is said to them, "Spend from that which Allāh has provided for you," those who disbelieve say to those who believe, "Should we feed one whom, if Allāh had willed, He would have fed? You are not but in clear error."And when they are told, "Spend ye of (the bounties) with which Allah has provided you," the Unbelievers say to those who believe: "Shall we then feed those whom, if Allah had so willed, He would have fed, (Himself)?- Ye are in nothing but manifest error."
48 وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَىٰ هَٰذَا ٱلْوَعْدُ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَwayaqūlūnaويقولونوَيَقُولُونَAnd they say,matāمتىمَتَىٰ"When (is)hādhāهذاهَٰذَاthisl-waʿduالوعدٱلْوَعْدُpromise,inإنإِنifkuntumكنتمكُنتُمْyou areṣādiqīnaصادقينصَٰدِقِينَtruthful?"And they say: When will this promise be fulfilled, if ye are truthful?They say, “When will this promise come to pass, if you are truthful?”And they say, "When is this promise, if you should be truthful?"Further, they say, "When will this promise (come to pass), if what ye say is true?"
49 مَا يَنظُرُونَ إِلَّا صَيْحَةٗ وَٰحِدَةٗ تَأْخُذُهُمْ وَهُمْ يَخِصِّمُونَمامَاNotyanẓurūnaينظرونيَنظُرُونَthey awaitillāإلاإِلَّاexceptṣayḥatanصيحةصَيْحَةًa shoutwāḥidatanواحدةوَٰحِدَةًone,takhudhuhumتأخذهمتَأْخُذُهُمْit will seize themwahumوهموَهُمْwhile theyyakhiṣṣimūnaيخصمونيَخِصِّمُونَare disputing.They await but one Shout, which will surprise them while they are disputing.They are not awaiting but a single Blast that will seize them while they are still disputing[14].They do not await except one blast[1273] which will seize them while they are disputing.They will not (have to) wait for aught but a single Blast: it will seize them while they are yet disputing among themselves!
50 فَلَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ تَوْصِيَةٗ وَلَآ إِلَىٰٓ أَهْلِهِمْ يَرْجِعُونَfalāفلافَلَاThen notyastaṭīʿūnaيستطيعونيَسْتَطِيعُونَthey will be abletawṣiyatanتوصيةتَوْصِيَةً(to) make a will,walāولاوَلَآand notilāإلىإِلَىٰٓtoahlihimأهلهمأَهْلِهِمْtheir peopleyarjiʿūnaيرجعونيَرْجِعُونَthey (can) return.Then they cannot make bequest, nor can they return to their own folk.Then they will not be able to make a will, nor will they be able to return to their households.And they will not be able [to give] any instruction, nor to their people can they return.No (chance) will they then have, by will, to dispose (of their affairs), nor to return to their own people!
51 وَنُفِخَ فِي ٱلصُّورِ فَإِذَا هُم مِّنَ ٱلْأَجْدَاثِ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِمْ يَنسِلُونَwanufikhaونفخوَنُفِخَAnd will be blownفيفِى[in]l-ṣūriالصورٱلصُّورِthe trumpet,fa-idhāفإذافَإِذَاand behold!humهمهُمTheyminaمنمِّنَfroml-ajdāthiالأجداثٱلْأَجْدَاثِthe gravesilāإلىإِلَىٰtorabbihimربهمرَبِّهِمْtheir Lordyansilūnaينسلونيَنسِلُونَ[they] will hasten.And the trumpet is blown and lo! from the graves they hie unto their Lord,The Trumpet will be blown[15] [again], and at once they will rush from their graves to their Lord.And the Horn will be blown;[1274] and at once from the graves to their Lord they will hasten.The trumpet shall be sounded, when behold! from the sepulchres (men) will rush forth to their Lord!
52 قَالُواْ يَٰوَيْلَنَا مَنۢ بَعَثَنَا مِن مَّرْقَدِنَاۜ هَٰذَا مَا وَعَدَ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ وَصَدَقَ ٱلْمُرْسَلُونَqālūقالواقَالُواْThey [will] say,yāwaylanāيا ويلنايَٰوَيْلَنَا"O woe to us!manمنمَنۢWhobaʿathanāبعثنابَعَثَنَاhas raised usminمنمِنfrommarqadināمرقدنامَّرْقَدِنَاour sleeping place?"hādhāهذاهَٰذَا"This (is)مامَاwhatwaʿadaوعدوَعَدَ(had) promisedl-raḥmānuالرحمنٱلرَّحْمَٰنُthe Most Gracious,waṣadaqaوصدقوَصَدَقَand told (the) truthl-mur'salūnaالمرسلونٱلْمُرْسَلُونَthe Messengers."Crying: Woe upon us! Who hath raised us from our place of sleep? This is that which the Beneficent did promise, and the messengers spoke truth.They will say, “Woe to us! Who has resurrected us from our resting place?” [They will be told,] “This is what the Most Compassionate promised, and the messengers told the truth.”They will say, "O woe to us! Who has raised us up from our sleeping place?" [The reply will be], "This is what the Most Merciful had promised, and the messengers told the truth."They will say: "Ah! Woe unto us! Who hath raised us up from our beds of repose?"... (A voice will say:) "This is what (Allah) Most Gracious had promised. And true was the word of the messengers!"
53 إِن كَانَتْ إِلَّا صَيْحَةٗ وَٰحِدَةٗ فَإِذَا هُمْ جَمِيعَ لَّدَيْنَا مُحْضَرُونَinإنإِنNotkānatكانتكَانَتْit will beillāإلاإِلَّاbutṣayḥatanصيحةصَيْحَةًa shoutwāḥidatanواحدةوَٰحِدَةًsingle,fa-idhāفإذافَإِذَاso behold!humهمهُمْTheyjamīʿunجميعجَمِيعٌallladaynāلدينالَّدَيْنَاbefore Usmuḥ'ḍarūnaمحضرونمُحْضَرُونَ(will be) brought.It is but one Shout, and behold them brought together before Us!It will only be a single Blast, and at once they will all be brought before Us.It will not be but one blast, and at once they are all brought present before Us.It will be no more than a single Blast, when lo! they will all be brought up before Us!
54 فَٱلْيَوْمَ لَا تُظْلَمُ نَفْسَ شَيْـٔٗا وَلَا تُجْزَوْنَ إِلَّا مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَfal-yawmaفاليومفَٱلْيَوْمَSo this Dayلالَاnottuẓ'lamuتظلمتُظْلَمُwill be wrongednafsunنفسنَفْسٌa soulshayanشيئاشَيْـًٔا(in) anythingwalāولاوَلَاand nottuj'zawnaتجزونتُجْزَوْنَyou will be recompensedillāإلاإِلَّاexceptمامَا(for) whatkuntumكنتمكُنتُمْyou used (to)taʿmalūnaتعملونتَعْمَلُونَdo.This day no soul is wronged in aught; nor are ye requited aught save what ye used to do.On that Day no soul will be wronged in the least, nor will you be recompensed except for what you used to do.So today [i.e., the Day of Judgement] no soul will be wronged at all, and you will not be recompensed except for what you used to do.Then, on that Day, not a soul will be wronged in the least, and ye shall but be repaid the meeds of your past Deeds.
55 إِنَّ أَصْحَٰبَ ٱلْجَنَّةِ ٱلْيَوْمَ فِي شُغُلٖ فَٰكِهُونَinnaإنإِنَّIndeed,aṣḥābaأصحابأَصْحَٰبَ(the) companionsl-janatiالجنةٱلْجَنَّةِ(of) Paradisel-yawmaاليومٱلْيَوْمَthis Dayفيفِى[in]shughulinشغلشُغُلٍwill be occupiedfākihūnaفاكهونفَٰكِهُونَ(in) amusement,Lo! those who merit paradise this day are happily employed,Indeed, on that Day the people of Paradise will be busy enjoying themselves,Indeed the companions of Paradise, that Day, will be amused in [joyful] occupation -Verily the Companions of the Garden shall that Day have joy in all that they do;
56 هُمْ وَأَزْوَٰجُهُمْ فِي ظِلَٰلٍ عَلَى ٱلْأَرَآئِكِ مُتَّكِـُٔونَhumهمهُمْTheywa-azwājuhumوأزواجهموَأَزْوَٰجُهُمْand their spousesفيفِىinẓilālinظلالظِلَٰلٍshades,ʿalāعلىعَلَىonl-arāikiالأرائكٱلْأَرَآئِكِ[the] couchesmuttakiūnaمتكئونمُتَّكِـُٔونَreclining.They and their wives, in pleasant shade, on thrones reclining;they and their spouses will be reclining on couches in the shade.They and their spouses - in shade, reclining on adorned couches.They and their associates will be in groves of (cool) shade, reclining on Thrones (of dignity);
57 لَهُمْ فِيهَا فَٰكِهَةَ وَلَهُم مَّا يَدَّعُونَlahumلهملَهُمْFor themfīhāفيهافِيهَاthereinfākihatunفاكهةفَٰكِهَةٌ(are) fruits,walahumولهموَلَهُمand for themمامَّا(is) whateveryaddaʿūnaيدعونيَدَّعُونَthey call for.Theirs the fruit (of their good deeds) and theirs (all) that they ask;They will have therein fruits and all what they ask for[16].For them therein is fruit, and for them is whatever they request [or wish](Every) fruit (enjoyment) will be there for them; they shall have whatever they call for;
58 سَلَٰمَ قَوْلٗا مِّن رَّبّٖ رَّحِيمٖsalāmunسلامسَلَٰمٌ"Peace."qawlanقولاقَوْلًاA wordminمنمِّنfromrabbinربرَّبٍّa LordraḥīminرحيمرَّحِيمٍMost Merciful.The word from a Merciful Lord (for them) is: Peace!“Peace”: a word from a Most Merciful Lord.[And] "Peace," a word from a Merciful Lord."Peace!" - a word (of salutation) from a Lord Most Merciful!
59 وَٱمْتَٰزُواْ ٱلْيَوْمَ أَيُّهَا ٱلْمُجْرِمُونَwa-im'tāzūوامتازواوَٱمْتَٰزُواْ"But stand apartl-yawmaاليومٱلْيَوْمَtodayayyuhāأيهاأَيُّهَاO criminals!l-muj'rimūnaالمجرمونٱلْمُجْرِمُونَO criminals!But avaunt ye, O ye guilty, this day!“Stand apart [from the believers] this Day, O wicked ones![Then He will say], "But stand apart today, you criminals.[1275]"And O ye in sin! Get ye apart this Day!
60 ۞ أَلَمْ أَعْهَدْ إِلَيْكُمْ يَٰبَنِيٓ ءَادَمَ أَن لَّا تَعْبُدُواْ ٱلشَّيْطَٰنَۖ إِنَّهُ لَكُمْ عَدُوَّ مُّبِينَalamألمأَلَمْDid notaʿhadأعهدأَعْهَدْI enjoinilaykumإليكمإِلَيْكُمْupon youyābanīيا بنييَٰبَنِىٓO Children of Adam!ādamaآدمءَادَمَO Children of Adam!anأنأَنThatلالَّا(do) nottaʿbudūتعبدواتَعْبُدُواْworshipl-shayṭānaالشيطانٱلشَّيْطَٰنَthe Shaitaan,innahuإنهإِنَّهُindeed, helakumلكملَكُمْ(is) for youʿaduwwunعدوعَدُوٌّan enemymubīnunمبينمُّبِينٌclear,Did I not charge you, O ye sons of Adam, that ye worship not the devil - Lo! he is your open foe! -Did I not command you, O children of Adam, not to worship Satan, for he is your sworn enemy,Did I not enjoin upon you, O children of Adam, that you not worship Satan - [for] indeed, he is to you a clear enemy -"Did I not enjoin on you, O ye Children of Adam, that ye should not worship Satan; for that he was to you an enemy avowed?-
61 وَأَنِ ٱعْبُدُونِيۚ هَٰذَا صِرَٰطَ مُّسْتَقِيمَwa-aniوأنوَأَنِAnd thatuʿ'budūnīاعبدونيٱعْبُدُونِىyou worship Me?hādhāهذاهَٰذَاThisṣirāṭunصراطصِرَٰطٌ(is) a Pathmus'taqīmunمستقيممُّسْتَقِيمٌStraight.But that ye worship Me? That was the right path.but to worship Me? This is a straight path.And that you worship [only] Me? This is a straight path."And that ye should worship Me, (for that) this was the Straight Way?
62 وَلَقَدْ أَضَلَّ مِنكُمْ جِبِلّٗا كَثِيرًاۖ أَفَلَمْ تَكُونُواْ تَعْقِلُونَwalaqadولقدوَلَقَدْAnd indeed,aḍallaأضلأَضَلَّhe led astrayminkumمنكممِنكُمْfrom youjibillanجبلاجِبِلًّاa multitudekathīranكثيراكَثِيرًاgreat.afalamأفلمأَفَلَمْThen did nottakūnūتكونواتَكُونُواْyoutaʿqilūnaتعقلونتَعْقِلُونَuse reason?Yet he hath led astray of you a great multitude. Had ye then no sense?He had already misled great multitudes of you. Did you not then have sense?And he had already led astray from among you much of creation, so did you not use reason?"But he did lead astray a great multitude of you. Did ye not, then, understand?
63 هَٰذِهِۦ جَهَنَّمُ ٱلَّتِي كُنتُمْ تُوعَدُونَhādhihiهذههَٰذِهِۦThis (is)jahannamuجهنمجَهَنَّمُ(the) Hellallatīالتيٱلَّتِىwhichkuntumكنتمكُنتُمْyou weretūʿadūnaتوعدونتُوعَدُونَpromised.This is hell which ye were promised (if ye followed him).This is the Hell that you were promised.This is the Hellfire which you were promised."This is the Hell of which ye were (repeatedly) warned!
64 ٱصْلَوْهَا ٱلْيَوْمَ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَكْفُرُونَiṣ'lawhāاصلوهاٱصْلَوْهَاBurn thereinl-yawmaاليومٱلْيَوْمَtodaybimāبمابِمَاbecausekuntumكنتمكُنتُمْyou used totakfurūnaتكفرونتَكْفُرُونَdisbelieve."Burn therein this day for that ye disbelieved.Burn in it Today for your disbelief[17].”[Enter to] burn therein today for what you used to deny."[1276]"Embrace ye the (fire) this Day, for that ye (persistently) rejected (Truth)."
65 ٱلْيَوْمَ نَخْتِمُ عَلَىٰٓ أَفْوَٰهِهِمْ وَتُكَلِّمُنَآ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَتَشْهَدُ أَرْجُلُهُم بِمَا كَانُواْ يَكْسِبُونَal-yawmaاليومٱلْيَوْمَThis DaynakhtimuنختمنَخْتِمُWe will sealʿalāعلىعَلَىٰٓ[on]afwāhihimأفواههمأَفْوَٰهِهِمْtheir mouths,watukallimunāوتكلمناوَتُكَلِّمُنَآand will speak to Usaydīhimأيديهمأَيْدِيهِمْtheir hands,watashhaduوتشهدوَتَشْهَدُand will bear witnessarjuluhumأرجلهمأَرْجُلُهُمtheir feetbimāبمابِمَاabout whatkānūكانواكَانُواْthey used toyaksibūnaيكسبونيَكْسِبُونَearn.This day We seal up their mouths, and their hands speak out to Us and their feet bear witness as to what they used to earn.Today We will seal up their mouths, and their hands will speak to Us, and their feet will testify to all what they used to do.That Day, We will seal over their mouths, and their hands will speak to Us, and their feet will testify about what they used to earn.That Day shall We set a seal on their mouths. But their hands will speak to us, and their feet bear witness, to all that they did.
66 وَلَوْ نَشَآءُ لَطَمَسْنَا عَلَىٰٓ أَعْيُنِهِمْ فَٱسْتَبَقُواْ ٱلصِّرَٰطَ فَأَنَّىٰ يُبْصِرُونَwalawولووَلَوْAnd ifnashāuنشاءنَشَآءُWe willed,laṭamasnāلطمسنالَطَمَسْنَاWe (would have) surely obliteratedʿalāعلىعَلَىٰٓ[over]aʿyunihimأعينهمأَعْيُنِهِمْtheir eyes,fa-is'tabaqūفاستبقوافَٱسْتَبَقُواْthen they (would) racel-ṣirāṭaالصراطٱلصِّرَٰطَ(to find) the path,fa-annāفأنىفَأَنَّىٰthen howyub'ṣirūnaيبصرونيُبْصِرُونَ(could) they see?And had We willed, We verily could have quenched their eyesight so that they should struggle for the way. Then how could they have seen?If We willed, We could have taken away their sight, so they would rush to find their way, but then how could they see?And if We willed, We could have obliterated their eyes, and they would race to [find] the path, and how could they see?[1277]If it had been our Will, We could surely have blotted out their eyes; then should they have run about groping for the Path, but how could they have seen?
67 وَلَوْ نَشَآءُ لَمَسَخْنَٰهُمْ عَلَىٰ مَكَانَتِهِمْ فَمَا ٱسْتَطَٰعُواْ مُضِيّٗا وَلَا يَرْجِعُونَwalawولووَلَوْAnd ifnashāuنشاءنَشَآءُWe willedlamasakhnāhumلمسخناهملَمَسَخْنَٰهُمْsurely, We (would have) transformed themʿalāعلىعَلَىٰinmakānatihimمكانتهممَكَانَتِهِمْtheir placesfamāفمافَمَاthen notis'taṭāʿūاستطاعواٱسْتَطَٰعُواْthey would have been ablemuḍiyyanمضيامُضِيًّاto proceedwalāولاوَلَاand notyarjiʿūnaيرجعونيَرْجِعُونَreturn.And had We willed, We verily could have fixed them in their place, making them powerless to go forward or turn back.And if We willed, We could have paralyzed them in their places[18], so they could neither move forward nor backward.And if We willed, We could have deformed them, [paralyzing them] in their places so they would not be able to proceed, nor could they return.[1278]And if it had been Our Will, We could have transformed them (to remain) in their places; then should they have been unable to move about, nor could they have returned (after error).
68 وَمَن نُّعَمِّرْهُ نُنَكِّسْهُ فِي ٱلْخَلْقِۚ أَفَلَا يَعْقِلُونَwamanومنوَمَنAnd (he) whomnuʿammir'huنعمرهنُّعَمِّرْهُWe grant him long life,nunakkis'huننكسهنُنَكِّسْهُWe reverse himفيفِىinl-khalqiالخلقٱلْخَلْقِthe creation.afalāأفلاأَفَلَاThen will notyaʿqilūnaيعقلونيَعْقِلُونَthey use intellect?He whom we bring unto old age, We reverse him in creation (making him go back to weakness after strength). Have ye then no sense?Whomsoever We give a long life, We cause his strength to decline[19]. Do they not then understand?And he to whom We grant long life We reverse in creation;[1279] so will they not understand?If We grant long life to any, We cause him to be reversed in nature: Will they not then understand?
69 وَمَا عَلَّمْنَٰهُ ٱلشِّعْرَ وَمَا يَنۢبَغِي لَهُٓۚ إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكْرَ وَقُرْءَانَ مُّبِينَwamāوماوَمَاAnd notʿallamnāhuعلمناهعَلَّمْنَٰهُWe taught himl-shiʿ'raالشعرٱلشِّعْرَ[the] poetry,wamāوماوَمَاand notyanbaghīينبغييَنۢبَغِىit is befittinglahuلهلَهُٓfor him.inإنإِنْNothuwaهوهُوَitillāإلاإِلَّا(is) exceptdhik'runذكرذِكْرٌa Reminderwaqur'ānunوقرآنوَقُرْءَانٌand a Quranmubīnunمبينمُّبِينٌclear,And We have not taught him (Muhammad) poetry, nor is it meet for him. This is naught else than a Reminder and a Lecture making plain,We have not taught him poetry, nor is it fitting for him. This is only a Reminder and a clear Qur’anAnd We did not give him [i.e., Prophet Muḥammad (ﷺ)] knowledge of poetry, nor is it befitting for him. It is not but a message and a clear Qur’ānWe have not instructed the (Prophet) in Poetry, nor is it meet for him: this is no less than a Message and a Qur'an making things clear:
70 لِّيُنذِرَ مَن كَانَ حَيّٗا وَيَحِقَّ ٱلْقَوْلُ عَلَى ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَliyundhiraلينذرلِّيُنذِرَTo warnmanمنمَن(him) whokānaكانكَانَisḥayyanحياحَيًّاalivewayaḥiqqaويحقوَيَحِقَّand may be proved truel-qawluالقولٱلْقَوْلُthe Wordʿalāعلىعَلَىagainstl-kāfirīnaالكافرينٱلْكَٰفِرِينَthe disbelievers.To warn whosoever liveth, and that the word may be fulfilled against the disbelievers.so that he may warn those who are truly alive[20] and establish the argument against the disbelievers.To warn whoever is alive[1280] and justify the word [i.e., decree] against the disbelievers.That it may give admonition to any (who are) alive, and that the charge may be proved against those who reject (Truth).
71 أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْاْ أَنَّا خَلَقْنَا لَهُم مِّمَّا عَمِلَتْ أَيْدِينَآ أَنْعَٰمٗا فَهُمْ لَهَا مَٰلِكُونَawalamأولمأَوَلَمْDo notyarawيروايَرَوْاْthey seeannāأناأَنَّاthat Wekhalaqnāخلقناخَلَقْنَا[We] createdlahumلهملَهُمfor themmimmāممامِّمَّاfrom whatʿamilatعملتعَمِلَتْhave madeaydīnāأيديناأَيْدِينَآOur hands,anʿāmanأنعاماأَنْعَٰمًاcattle,fahumفهمفَهُمْthen theylahāلهالَهَا[for them]mālikūnaمالكونمَٰلِكُونَ(are the) owners?Have they not seen how We have created for them of Our handiwork the cattle, so that they are their owners,Do they not see that We have created for them livestock made by Our Hands, and then they are their owners?Do they not see that We have created for them from what Our hands[1281] have made, grazing livestock, and [then] they are their owners?See they not that it is We Who have created for them - among the things which Our hands have fashioned - cattle, which are under their dominion?-
72 وَذَلَّلْنَٰهَا لَهُمْ فَمِنْهَا رَكُوبُهُمْ وَمِنْهَا يَأْكُلُونَwadhallalnāhāوذللناهاوَذَلَّلْنَٰهَاAnd We have tamed themlahumلهملَهُمْfor them,famin'hāفمنهافَمِنْهَاso some of them -rakūbuhumركوبهمرَكُوبُهُمْthey ride them,wamin'hāومنهاوَمِنْهَاand some of themyakulūnaيأكلونيَأْكُلُونَthey eat.And have subdued them unto them, so that some of them they have for riding, some for food?And We have made them subservient to them; some they ride, and from others they eat,And We have tamed them for them, so some of them they ride, and some of them they eat.And that We have subjected them to their (use)? of them some do carry them and some they eat:
73 وَلَهُمْ فِيهَا مَنَٰفِعُ وَمَشَارِبُۚ أَفَلَا يَشْكُرُونَwalahumولهموَلَهُمْAnd for themfīhāفيهافِيهَاthereinmanāfiʿuمنافعمَنَٰفِعُ(are) benefitswamashāribuومشاربوَمَشَارِبُand drinks,afalāأفلاأَفَلَاso (will) notyashkurūnaيشكرونيَشْكُرُونَthey give thanks?Benefits and (divers) drinks have they from them. Will they not then give thanks?and there are other benefits and drinks therein for them. Will they not then give thanks?And for them therein are [other] benefits and drinks, so will they not be grateful?And they have (other) profits from them (besides), and they get (milk) to drink. Will they not then be grateful?
74 وَٱتَّخَذُواْ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ ءَالِهَةٗ لَّعَلَّهُمْ يُنصَرُونَwa-ittakhadhūواتخذواوَٱتَّخَذُواْBut they have takenminمنمِنbesidesdūniدوندُونِbesidesl-lahiاللهٱللَّهِAllahālihatanآلهةءَالِهَةًgods,laʿallahumلعلهملَّعَلَّهُمْthat they mayyunṣarūnaينصرونيُنصَرُونَbe helped.And they have taken (other) gods beside Allah, in order that they may be helped.Yet they have taken other gods besides Allah, hoping that they may be helped.But they have taken besides Allāh [false] deities that perhaps they would be helped.Yet they take (for worship) gods other than Allah, (hoping) that they might be helped!
75 لَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ نَصْرَهُمْ وَهُمْ لَهُمْ جُندَ مُّحْضَرُونَلالَاNotyastaṭīʿūnaيستطيعونيَسْتَطِيعُونَthey are ablenaṣrahumنصرهمنَصْرَهُمْto help them,wahumوهموَهُمْbut they -lahumلهملَهُمْfor themjundunجندجُندٌ(are) hostsmuḥ'ḍarūnaمحضرونمُّحْضَرُونَ(who will) be brought.It is not in their power to help them; but they (the worshippers) are unto them a host in arms.They cannot help them, yet they serve them as their dedicated guards[21].They are not able to help them, and they [themselves] are for them soldiers in attendance.[1282]They have not the power to help them: but they will be brought up (before Our Judgment-seat) as a troop (to be condemned).
76 فَلَا يَحْزُنكَ قَوْلُهُمْۘ إِنَّا نَعْلَمُ مَا يُسِرُّونَ وَمَا يُعْلِنُونَfalāفلافَلَاSo (let) notyaḥzunkaيحزنكيَحْزُنكَgrieve youqawluhumقولهمقَوْلُهُمْtheir speech.innāإناإِنَّاIndeed, Wenaʿlamuنعلمنَعْلَمُ[We] knowمامَاwhatyusirrūnaيسرونيُسِرُّونَthey concealwamāوماوَمَاand whatyuʿ'linūnaيعلنونيُعْلِنُونَthey declare.So let not their speech grieve thee (O Muhammad). Lo! We know what they conceal and what proclaim.Do not let their words grieve you. Surely We know what they conceal and what they reveal.So let not their speech grieve you. Indeed, We know what they conceal and what they declare.Let not their speech, then, grieve thee. Verily We know what they hide as well as what they disclose.
77 أَوَلَمْ يَرَ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ أَنَّا خَلَقْنَٰهُ مِن نُّطْفَةٖ فَإِذَا هُوَ خَصِيمَ مُّبِينَawalamأولمأَوَلَمْDoes notyaraيريَرَseel-insānuالإنسانٱلْإِنسَٰنُ[the] manannāأناأَنَّاthat Wekhalaqnāhuخلقناهخَلَقْنَٰهُ[We] created himminمنمِنfromnuṭ'fatinنطفةنُّطْفَةٍa semen-dropfa-idhāفإذافَإِذَاThen behold!huwaهوهُوَHekhaṣīmunخصيمخَصِيمٌ(is) an opponentmubīnunمبينمُّبِينٌclear.Hath not man seen that We have created him from a drop of seed? Yet lo! he is an open opponent.Does man not see that We have created him from a sperm-drop, then[22] he becomes a clear adversary,Does man not consider that We created him from a [mere] sperm-drop - then at once[1283] he is a clear adversary?Doth not man see that it is We Who created him from sperm? yet behold! he (stands forth) as an open adversary!
78 وَضَرَبَ لَنَا مَثَلٗا وَنَسِيَ خَلْقَهُۖ قَالَ مَن يُحْيِ ٱلْعِظَٰمَ وَهِيَ رَمِيمَwaḍarabaوضربوَضَرَبَAnd he sets forthlanāلنالَنَاfor Usmathalanمثلامَثَلًاan examplewanasiyaونسيوَنَسِىَand forgetskhalqahuخلقهخَلْقَهُhis (own) creation.qālaقالقَالَHe says,manمنمَن"Whoyuḥ'yīيحيييُحْىِwill give lifel-ʿiẓāmaالعظامٱلْعِظَٰمَ(to) the boneswahiyaوهيوَهِىَwhile theyramīmunرميمرَمِيمٌ(are) decomposed?"And he hath coined for Us a similitude, and hath forgotten the fact of his creation, saying: Who will revive these bones when they have rotted away?producing arguments[23] against Us while forgetting his own creation[24]. He says, “Who can give life to the bones after they have crumbled to dust?”And he presents for Us an example[1284] and forgets his [own] creation. He says, "Who will give life to bones while they are disintegrated?"And he makes comparisons for Us, and forgets his own (origin and) Creation: He says, "Who can give life to (dry) bones and decomposed ones (at that)?"
79 قُلْ يُحْيِيهَا ٱلَّذِيٓ أَنشَأَهَآ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٖۖ وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ خَلْقٍ عَلِيمٌqulقلقُلْSay,yuḥ'yīhāيحييهايُحْيِيهَا"He will give them lifealladhīالذيٱلَّذِىٓWhoansha-ahāأنشأهاأَنشَأَهَآproduced themawwalaأولأَوَّلَ(the) firstmarratinمرةمَرَّةٍtime;wahuwaوهووَهُوَand Hebikulliبكلبِكُلِّ(is) of everykhalqinخلقخَلْقٍcreationʿalīmunعليمعَلِيمٌAll-Knower."Say: He will revive them Who produced them at the first, for He is Knower of every creation,Say, “The One Who created them in the first place will give life to them, for He has full knowledge of every created being;Say, "He will give them life who produced them the first time; and He is, of all creation, Knowing."Say, "He will give them life Who created them for the first time! for He is Well-versed in every kind of creation!-
80 ٱلَّذِي جَعَلَ لَكُم مِّنَ ٱلشَّجَرِ ٱلْأَخْضَرِ نَارٗا فَإِذَآ أَنتُم مِّنْهُ تُوقِدُونَalladhīالذيٱلَّذِىThe One Whojaʿalaجعلجَعَلَmadelakumلكملَكُمfor youminaمنمِّنَfroml-shajariالشجرٱلشَّجَرِthe treel-akhḍariالأخضرٱلْأَخْضَرِ[the] green -nāranنارانَارًاfire,fa-idhāفإذافَإِذَآand behold!antumأنتمأَنتُمYoumin'huمنهمِّنْهُfrom ittūqidūnaتوقدونتُوقِدُونَignite.Who hath appointed for you fire from the green tree, and behold! ye kindle from it.the One Who made for you fire out of the green tree, with which you kindle your fires[25].”[It is] He who made for you from the green tree, fire, and then from it you ignite."The same Who produces for you fire out of the green tree, when behold! ye kindle therewith (your own fires)!
81 أَوَلَيْسَ ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ بِقَٰدِرٍ عَلَىٰٓ أَن يَخْلُقَ مِثْلَهُمۚ بَلَىٰ وَهُوَ ٱلْخَلَّٰقُ ٱلْعَلِيمُawalaysaأوليسأَوَلَيْسَIs it notalladhīالذيٱلَّذِى(He) Whokhalaqaخلقخَلَقَcreatedl-samāwātiالسماواتٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِthe heavenswal-arḍaوالأرضوَٱلْأَرْضَand the earthbiqādirinبقادربِقَٰدِرٍAbleʿalāعلىعَلَىٰٓtoanأنأَن[that]yakhluqaيخلقيَخْلُقَcreatemith'lahumمثلهممِثْلَهُم(the) like of them.balāبلىبَلَىٰYes, indeed!wahuwaوهووَهُوَand Hel-khalāquالخلاقٱلْخَلَّٰقُ(is) the Supreme Creator,l-ʿalīmuالعليمٱلْعَلِيمُthe All-Knower.Is not He Who created the heavens and the earth Able to create the like of them? Aye, that He is! for He is the All-Wise Creator,Is not the One Who created the heavens and earth able to create the like of these [people]? Yes indeed, for He is the Creator of all, the All-Knowing.Is not He who created the heavens and the earth Able to create the likes of them? Yes, [it is so]; and He is the Knowing Creator."Is not He Who created the heavens and the earth able to create the like thereof?" - Yea, indeed! for He is the Creator Supreme, of skill and knowledge (infinite)!
82 إِنَّمَآ أَمْرُهُٓ إِذَآ أَرَادَ شَيْـًٔا أَن يَقُولَ لَهُ كُن فَيَكُونُinnamāإنماإِنَّمَآOnlyamruhuأمرهأَمْرُهُٓHis CommandidhāإذاإِذَآwhenarādaأرادأَرَادَHe intendsshayanشيئاشَيْـًٔاa thinganأنأَنthatyaqūlaيقوليَقُولَHe sayslahuلهلَهُto it,kunكنكُن"Be,"fayakūnuفيكونفَيَكُونُand it is.But His command, when He intendeth a thing, is only that He saith unto it: Be! and it is.Whenever He wills something to be, He only says to it, “Be”, and it is.His command is only when He intends a thing that He says to it, "Be," and it is.Verily, when He intends a thing, His Command is, "be", and it is!
83 فَسُبْحَٰنَ ٱلَّذِي بِيَدِهِۦ مَلَكُوتُ كُلِّ شَيْءٖ وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَfasub'ḥānaفسبحانفَسُبْحَٰنَSo glory bealladhīالذيٱلَّذِى(to) the One whobiyadihiبيدهبِيَدِهِۦin Whose handmalakūtuملكوتمَلَكُوتُis (the) dominionkulliكلكُلِّ(of) allshayinشيءشَىْءٍthings,wa-ilayhiوإليهوَإِلَيْهِand to Himtur'jaʿūnaترجعونتُرْجَعُونَyou will be returned.Therefor Glory be to Him in Whose hand is the dominion over all things! Unto Him ye will be brought back.So glory be to the One in Whose Hand is the dominion of everything, and to Him you will all be returned.So exalted is He in whose hand is the realm of all things, and to Him you will be returned.So glory to Him in Whose hands is the dominion of all things: and to Him will ye be all brought back.

ﳄ ﳅ ﳆ ﳇ ﳈ ﳉ ﳊ ﳋ ﳌ
يس ١ وَالْقُرْآنِ الْحَكِيمِ ٢ إِنَّكَ لَمِنَ الْمُرْسَلِينَ ٣ عَلَىٰ
صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ ٤ تَنزِيلَ الْعَزِيزِ الرَّحِيمِ ٥ لِتُنذِرَ قَوْمًا
مَّا أُنذِرَ آبَاؤُهُمْ فَهُمْ غَافِلُونَ ٦ لَقَدْ حَقَّ الْقَوْلُ عَلَىٰ أَكْثَرِهِمْ
فَهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ ٧ إِنَّا جَعَلْنَا فِي أَعْنَاقِهِمْ أَغْلَالًا فَهِيَ إِلَى
الْأَذْقَانِ فَهُم مُّقْمَحُونَ ٨ وَجَعَلْنَا مِن بَيْنِ أَيْدِيهِمْ سَدًّا
وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِمْ سَدًّا فَأَغْشَيْنَاهُمْ فَهُمْ لَا يُبْصِرُونَ ٩ وَسَوَاءٌ
عَلَيْهِمْ أَأَنذَرْتَهُمْ أَمْ لَمْ تُنذِرْهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ ١٠ إِنَّمَا تُنذِرُ
مَنِ اتَّبَعَ الذِّكْرَ وَخَشِيَ الرَّحْمَٰنَ بِالْغَيْبِ فَبَشِّرْهُ بِمَغْفِرَةٍ
وَأَجْرٍ كَرِيمٍ ١١ إِنَّا نَحْنُ نُحْيِي الْمَوْتَىٰ وَنَكْتُبُ مَا قَدَّمُوا
وَآثَارَهُمْ وَكُلَّ شَيْءٍ أَحْصَيْنَاهُ فِي إِمَامٍ مُّبِينٍ ١٢
وَاضْرِبْ لَهُم مَّثَلًا أَصْحَابَ الْقَرْيَةِ إِذْ جَاءَهَا الْمُرْسَلُونَ
١٣ إِذْ أَرْسَلْنَا إِلَيْهِمُ اثْنَيْنِ فَكَذَّبُوهُمَا فَعَزَّزْنَا بِثَالِثٍ فَقَالُوا
إِنَّا إِلَيْكُم مُّرْسَلُونَ ١٤ قَالُوا مَا أَنتُمْ إِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُنَا
وَمَا أَنزَلَ الرَّحْمَٰنُ مِن شَيْءٍ إِنْ أَنتُمْ إِلَّا تَكْذِبُونَ ١٥ قَالُوا
رَبُّنَا يَعْلَمُ إِنَّا إِلَيْكُمْ لَمُرْسَلُونَ ١٦ وَمَا عَلَيْنَا إِلَّا الْبَلَاغُ
الْمُبِينُ ١٧ قَالُوا إِنَّا تَطَيَّرْنَا بِكُمْ لَئِن لَّمْ تَنتَهُوا لَنَرْجُمَنَّكُمْ
وَلَيَمَسَّنَّكُم مِّنَّا عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ ١٨ قَالُوا طَائِرُكُم مَّعَكُمْ أَئِن
ذُكِّرْتُم بَلْ أَنتُمْ قَوْمٌ مُّسْرِفُونَ ١٩ وَجَاءَ مِنْ أَقْصَى الْمَدِينَةِ
رَجُلٌ يَسْعَىٰ قَالَ يَا قَوْمِ اتَّبِعُوا الْمُرْسَلِينَ ٢٠ اتَّبِعُوا
مَن لَّا يَسْأَلُكُمْ أَجْرًا وَهُم مُّهْتَدُونَ ٢١ وَمَا لِيَ لَا أَعْبُدُ
الَّذِي فَطَرَنِي وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ ٢٢ أَأَتَّخِذُ مِن دُونِهِ آلِهَةً إِن
يُرِدْنِ الرَّحْمَٰنُ بِضُرٍّ لَّا تُغْنِ عَنِّي شَفَاعَتُهُمْ شَيْئًا وَلَا
يُنقِذُونِ ٢٣ إِنِّي إِذًا لَّفِي ضَلَالٍ مُّبِينٍ ٢٤ إِنِّي آمَنتُ بِرَبِّكُمْ
فَاسْمَعُونِ ٢٥ قِيلَ ادْخُلِ الْجَنَّةَ قَالَ يَا لَيْتَ قَوْمِي
يَعْلَمُونَ ٢٦ بِمَا غَفَرَ لِي رَبِّي وَجَعَلَنِي مِنَ الْمُكْرَمِينَ ٢٧ ۞
وَمَا أَنزَلْنَا عَلَىٰ قَوْمِهِ مِن بَعْدِهِ مِن جُندٍ مِّنَ السَّمَاءِ وَمَا
كُنَّا مُنزِلِينَ ٢٨ إِن كَانَتْ إِلَّا صَيْحَةً وَاحِدَةً فَإِذَا هُمْ خَامِدُونَ ٢٩
يَا حَسْرَةً عَلَى الْعِبَادِ مَا يَأْتِيهِم مِّن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا كَانُوا بِهِ
يَسْتَهْزِئُونَ ٣٠ أَلَمْ يَرَوْا كَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا قَبْلَهُم مِّنَ الْقُرُونِ أَنَّهُمْ
إِلَيْهِمْ لَا يَرْجِعُونَ ٣١ وَإِن كُلٌّ لَّمَّا جَمِيعٌ لَّدَيْنَا مُحْضَرُونَ ٣٢
وَآيَةٌ لَّهُمُ الْأَرْضُ الْمَيْتَةُ أَحْيَيْنَاهَا وَأَخْرَجْنَا مِنْهَا حَبًّا فَمِنْهُ
يَأْكُلُونَ ٣٣ وَجَعَلْنَا فِيهَا جَنَّاتٍ مِّن نَّخِيلٍ وَأَعْنَابٍ
وَفَجَّرْنَا فِيهَا مِنَ الْعُيُونِ ٣٤ لِيَأْكُلُوا مِن ثَمَرِهِ وَمَا
عَمِلَتْهُ أَيْدِيهِمْ أَفَلَا يَشْكُرُونَ ٣٥ سُبْحَانَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ
الْأَزْوَاجَ كُلَّهَا مِمَّا تُنبِتُ الْأَرْضُ وَمِنْ أَنفُسِهِمْ وَمِمَّا
لَا يَعْلَمُونَ ٣٦ وَآيَةٌ لَّهُمُ اللَّيْلُ نَسْلَخُ مِنْهُ النَّهَارَ فَإِذَا
هُم مُّظْلِمُونَ ٣٧ وَالشَّمْسُ تَجْرِي لِمُسْتَقَرٍّ لَّهَا ذَٰلِكَ
تَقْدِيرُ الْعَزِيزِ الْعَلِيمِ ٣٨ وَالْقَمَرَ قَدَّرْنَاهُ مَنَازِلَ حَتَّىٰ عَادَ
كَالْعُرْجُونِ الْقَدِيمِ ٣٩ لَا الشَّمْسُ يَنبَغِي لَهَا أَن تُدْرِكَ الْقَمَرَ
وَلَا اللَّيْلُ سَابِقُ النَّهَارِ وَكُلٌّ فِي فَلَكٍ يَسْبَحُونَ ٤٠ وَآيَةٌ
لَّهُمْ أَنَّا حَمَلْنَا ذُرِّيَّتَهُمْ فِي الْفُلْكِ الْمَشْحُونِ ٤١ وَخَلَقْنَا لَهُم
مِّن مِّثْلِهِ مَا يَرْكَبُونَ ٤٢ وَإِن نَّشَأْ نُغْرِقْهُمْ فَلَا صَرِيخَ لَهُمْ وَلَا
هُمْ يُنقَذُونَ ٤٣ إِلَّا رَحْمَةً مِّنَّا وَمَتَاعًا إِلَىٰ حِينٍ ٤٤ وَإِذَا قِيلَ
لَهُمُ اتَّقُوا مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيكُمْ وَمَا خَلْفَكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ ٤٥
وَمَا تَأْتِيهِم مِّنْ آيَةٍ مِّنْ آيَاتِ رَبِّهِمْ إِلَّا كَانُوا عَنْهَا مُعْرِضِينَ
٤٦ وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ أَنفِقُوا مِمَّا رَزَقَكُمُ اللَّهُ قَالَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا
لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَنُطْعِمُ مَن لَّوْ يَشَاءُ اللَّهُ أَطْعَمَهُ إِنْ أَنتُمْ
إِلَّا فِي ضَلَالٍ مُّبِينٍ ٤٧ وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَىٰ هَٰذَا الْوَعْدُ إِن كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ
٤٨ مَا يَنظُرُونَ إِلَّا صَيْحَةً وَاحِدَةً تَأْخُذُهُمْ وَهُمْ يَخِصِّمُونَ
٤٩ فَلَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ تَوْصِيَةً وَلَا إِلَىٰ أَهْلِهِمْ يَرْجِعُونَ
٥٠ وَنُفِخَ فِي الصُّورِ فَإِذَا هُم مِّنَ الْأَجْدَاثِ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِمْ يَنسِلُونَ
٥١ قَالُوا يَا وَيْلَنَا مَن بَعَثَنَا مِن مَّرْقَدِنَا هَٰذَا مَا وَعَدَ
الرَّحْمَٰنُ وَصَدَقَ الْمُرْسَلُونَ ٥٢ إِن كَانَتْ إِلَّا صَيْحَةً وَاحِدَةً
فَإِذَا هُمْ جَمِيعٌ لَّدَيْنَا مُحْضَرُونَ ٥٣ فَالْيَوْمَ لَا تُظْلَمُ نَفْسٌ
شَيْئًا وَلَا تُجْزَوْنَ إِلَّا مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ ٥٤ إِنَّ
أَصْحَابَ الْجَنَّةِ الْيَوْمَ فِي شُغُلٍ فَاكِهُونَ ٥٥ هُمْ وَأَزْوَاجُهُمْ فِي
ظِلَالٍ عَلَى الْأَرَائِكِ مُتَّكِئُونَ ٥٦ لَهُمْ فِيهَا فَاكِهَةٌ وَلَهُم
مَّا يَدَّعُونَ ٥٧ سَلَامٌ قَوْلًا مِّن رَّبٍّ رَّحِيمٍ ٥٨ وَامْتَازُوا الْيَوْمَ
أَيُّهَا الْمُجْرِمُونَ ٥٩ ۞ أَلَمْ أَعْهَدْ إِلَيْكُمْ يَا بَنِي
آدَمَ أَن لَّا تَعْبُدُوا الشَّيْطَانَ إِنَّهُ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ مُّبِينٌ ٦٠ وَأَنِ اعْبُدُونِي
هَٰذَا صِرَاطٌ مُّسْتَقِيمٌ ٦١ وَلَقَدْ أَضَلَّ مِنكُمْ جِبِلًّا
كَثِيرًا أَفَلَمْ تَكُونُوا تَعْقِلُونَ ٦٢ هَٰذِهِ جَهَنَّمُ الَّتِي كُنتُمْ
تُوعَدُونَ ٦٣ اصْلَوْهَا الْيَوْمَ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَكْفُرُونَ ٦٤ الْيَوْمَ
نَخْتِمُ عَلَىٰ أَفْوَاهِهِمْ وَتُكَلِّمُنَا أَيْدِيهِمْ وَتَشْهَدُ أَرْجُلُهُم بِمَا
كَانُوا يَكْسِبُونَ ٦٥ وَلَوْ نَشَاءُ لَطَمَسْنَا عَلَىٰ أَعْيُنِهِمْ فَاسْتَبَقُوا
الصِّرَاطَ فَأَنَّىٰ يُبْصِرُونَ ٦٦ وَلَوْ نَشَاءُ لَمَسَخْنَاهُمْ عَلَىٰ
مَكَانَتِهِمْ فَمَا اسْتَطَاعُوا مُضِيًّا وَلَا يَرْجِعُونَ ٦٧
وَمَن نُّعَمِّرْهُ نُنَكِّسْهُ فِي الْخَلْقِ أَفَلَا يَعْقِلُونَ ٦٨ وَمَا
عَلَّمْنَاهُ الشِّعْرَ وَمَا يَنبَغِي لَهُ إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكْرٌ وَقُرْآنٌ مُّبِينٌ ٦٩
لِّيُنذِرَ مَن كَانَ حَيًّا وَيَحِقَّ الْقَوْلُ عَلَى الْكَافِرِينَ ٧٠ أَوَلَمْ
يَرَوْا أَنَّا خَلَقْنَا لَهُم مِّمَّا عَمِلَتْ أَيْدِينَا أَنْعَامًا فَهُمْ لَهَا مَالِكُونَ
٧١ وَذَلَّلْنَاهَا لَهُمْ فَمِنْهَا رَكُوبُهُمْ وَمِنْهَا يَأْكُلُونَ ٧٢
وَلَهُمْ فِيهَا مَنَافِعُ وَمَشَارِبُ أَفَلَا يَشْكُرُونَ ٧٣ وَاتَّخَذُوا مِن
دُونِ اللَّهِ آلِهَةً لَّعَلَّهُمْ يُنصَرُونَ ٧٤ لَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ نَصْرَهُمْ
وَهُمْ لَهُمْ جُندٌ مُّحْضَرُونَ ٧٥ فَلَا يَحْزُنكَ قَوْلُهُمْ إِنَّا
نَعْلَمُ مَا يُسِرُّونَ وَمَا يُعْلِنُونَ ٧٦ أَوَلَمْ يَرَ الْإِنسَانُ أَنَّا خَلَقْنَاهُ
مِن نُّطْفَةٍ فَإِذَا هُوَ خَصِيمٌ مُّبِينٌ ٧٧ وَضَرَبَ لَنَا مَثَلًا
وَنَسِيَ خَلْقَهُ قَالَ مَن يُحْيِي الْعِظَامَ وَهِيَ رَمِيمٌ ٧٨ قُلْ
يُحْيِيهَا الَّذِي أَنشَأَهَا أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ خَلْقٍ عَلِيمٌ ٧٩
الَّذِي جَعَلَ لَكُم مِّنَ الشَّجَرِ الْأَخْضَرِ نَارًا فَإِذَا أَنتُم مِّنْهُ
تُوقِدُونَ ٨٠ أَوَلَيْسَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ بِقَادِرٍ
عَلَىٰ أَن يَخْلُقَ مِثْلَهُم بَلَىٰ وَهُوَ الْخَلَّاقُ الْعَلِيمُ ٨١ إِنَّمَا
أَمْرُهُ إِذَا أَرَادَ شَيْئًا أَن يَقُولَ لَهُ كُن فَيَكُونُ ٨٢ فَسُبْحَانَ
الَّذِي بِيَدِهِ مَلَكُوتُ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ ٨٣
يسٓ ۝١ وَٱلْقُرْءَانِ ٱلْحَكِيمِ ۝٢ إِنَّكَ لَمِنَ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ ۝٣ عَلَىٰ
صِرَٰطٖ مُّسْتَقِيمٖ ۝٤ تَنزِيلَ ٱلْعَزِيزِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ ۝٥ لِتُنذِرَ قَوْمٗا
مَّآ أُنذِرَ ءَابَآؤُهُمْ فَهُمْ غَٰفِلُونَ ۝٦ لَقَدْ حَقَّ ٱلْقَوْلُ عَلَىٰٓ أَكْثَرِهِمْ
فَهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ ۝٧ إِنَّا جَعَلْنَا فِيٓ أَعْنَٰقِهِمْ أَغْلَٰلٗا فَهِيَ إِلَى
ٱلْأَذْقَانِ فَهُم مُّقْمَحُونَ ۝٨ وَجَعَلْنَا مِنۢ بَيْنِ أَيْدِيهِمْ سَدّٗا
وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِمْ سَدّٗا فَأَغْشَيْنَٰهُمْ فَهُمْ لَا يُبْصِرُونَ ۝٩ وَسَوَآءٌ
عَلَيْهِمْ ءَأَنذَرْتَهُمْ أَمْ لَمْ تُنذِرْهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ ۝١٠ إِنَّمَا تُنذِرُ
مَنِ ٱتَّبَعَ ٱلذِّكْرَ وَخَشِيَ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنَ بِٱلْغَيْبِۖ فَبَشِّرْهُ بِمَغْفِرَةٖ
وَأَجْرٖ كَرِيمٍ ۝١١ إِنَّا نَحْنُ نُحْيِ ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ وَنَكْتُبُ مَا قَدَّمُواْ
وَءَاثَٰرَهُمْۚ وَكُلَّ شَيْءٍ أَحْصَيْنَٰهُ فِيٓ إِمَامٖ مُّبِينٖ ۝١٢
وَٱضْرِبْ لَهُم مَّثَلًا أَصْحَٰبَ ٱلْقَرْيَةِ إِذْ جَآءَهَا ٱلْمُرْسَلُونَ
۝١٣ إِذْ أَرْسَلْنَآ إِلَيْهِمُ ٱثْنَيْنِ فَكَذَّبُوهُمَا فَعَزَّزْنَا بِثَالِثٖ فَقَالُوٓاْ
إِنَّآ إِلَيْكُم مُّرْسَلُونَ ۝١٤ قَالُواْ مَآ أَنتُمْ إِلَّا بَشَرَ مِّثْلُنَا
وَمَآ أَنزَلَ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ مِن شَيْءٍ إِنْ أَنتُمْ إِلَّا تَكْذِبُونَ ۝١٥ قَالُواْ
رَبُّنَا يَعْلَمُ إِنَّآ إِلَيْكُمْ لَمُرْسَلُونَ ۝١٦ وَمَا عَلَيْنَآ إِلَّا ٱلْبَلَٰغُ
ٱلْمُبِينُ ۝١٧ قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّا تَطَيَّرْنَا بِكُمْۖ لَئِن لَّمْ تَنتَهُواْ لَنَرْجُمَنَّكُمْ
وَلَيَمَسَّنَّكُم مِّنَّا عَذَابٌ أَلِيمَ ۝١٨ قَالُواْ طَٰٓئِرُكُم مَّعَكُمْ أَئِن
ذُكِّرْتُمۚ بَلْ أَنتُمْ قَوْمَ مُّسْرِفُونَ ۝١٩ وَجَآءَ مِنْ أَقْصَا ٱلْمَدِينَةِ
رَجُلَ يَسْعَىٰ قَالَ يَٰقَوْمِ ٱتَّبِعُواْ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ ۝٢٠ ٱتَّبِعُواْ
مَن لَّا يَسْـَٔلُكُمْ أَجْرٗا وَهُم مُّهْتَدُونَ ۝٢١ وَمَالِيَ لَآ أَعْبُدُ ٱلَّذِي
فَطَرَنِي وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ ۝٢٢ ءَأَتَّخِذُ مِن دُونِهِۦٓ ءَالِهَةً إِن
يُرِدْنِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ بِضُرّٖ لَّا تُغْنِ عَنِّي شَفَٰعَتُهُمْ شَيْـٔٗا وَلَا
يُنقِذُونِ ۝٢٣ إِنِّيٓ إِذٗا لَّفِي ضَلَٰلٖ مُّبِينٍ ۝٢٤ إِنِّيٓ ءَامَنتُ بِرَبِّكُمْ
فَٱسْمَعُونِ ۝٢٥ قِيلَ ٱدْخُلِ ٱلْجَنَّةَۖ قَالَ يَٰلَيْتَ قَوْمِي يَعْلَمُونَ
۝٢٦ بِمَا غَفَرَ لِي رَبِّي وَجَعَلَنِي مِنَ ٱلْمُكْرَمِينَ ۝٢٧ وَمَآ
أَنزَلْنَا عَلَىٰ قَوْمِهِۦ مِنۢ بَعْدِهِۦ مِن جُندٖ مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَمَا كُنَّا
مُنزِلِينَ ۝٢٨ إِن كَانَتْ إِلَّا صَيْحَةٗ وَٰحِدَةٗ فَإِذَا هُمْ خَٰمِدُونَ ۝٢٩
يَٰحَسْرَةً عَلَى ٱلْعِبَادِۚ مَا يَأْتِيهِم مِّن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا كَانُواْ بِهِۦ يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ
۝٣٠ أَلَمْ يَرَوْاْ كَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا قَبْلَهُم مِّنَ ٱلْقُرُونِ أَنَّهُمْ
إِلَيْهِمْ لَا يَرْجِعُونَ ۝٣١ وَإِن كُلَّ لَّمَّا جَمِيعَ لَّدَيْنَا مُحْضَرُونَ ۝٣٢
وَءَايَةَ لَّهُمُ ٱلْأَرْضُ ٱلْمَيْتَةُ أَحْيَيْنَٰهَا وَأَخْرَجْنَا مِنْهَا حَبّٗا فَمِنْهُ
يَأْكُلُونَ ۝٣٣ وَجَعَلْنَا فِيهَا جَنَّٰتٖ مِّن نَّخِيلٖ وَأَعْنَٰبٖ
وَفَجَّرْنَا فِيهَا مِنَ ٱلْعُيُونِ ۝٣٤ لِيَأْكُلُواْ مِن ثَمَرِهِۦ وَمَا
عَمِلَتْهُ أَيْدِيهِمْۚ أَفَلَا يَشْكُرُونَ ۝٣٥ سُبْحَٰنَ ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَ
ٱلْأَزْوَٰجَ كُلَّهَا مِمَّا تُنۢبِتُ ٱلْأَرْضُ وَمِنْ أَنفُسِهِمْ وَمِمَّا
لَا يَعْلَمُونَ ۝٣٦ وَءَايَةَ لَّهُمُ ٱلَّيْلُ نَسْلَخُ مِنْهُ ٱلنَّهَارَ فَإِذَا
هُم مُّظْلِمُونَ ۝٣٧ وَٱلشَّمْسُ تَجْرِي لِمُسْتَقَرّٖ لَّهَاۚ ذَٰلِكَ
تَقْدِيرُ ٱلْعَزِيزِ ٱلْعَلِيمِ ۝٣٨ وَٱلْقَمَرَ قَدَّرْنَٰهُ مَنَازِلَ حَتَّىٰ عَادَ
كَٱلْعُرْجُونِ ٱلْقَدِيمِ ۝٣٩ لَا ٱلشَّمْسُ يَنۢبَغِي لَهَآ أَن تُدْرِكَ ٱلْقَمَرَ
وَلَا ٱلَّيْلُ سَابِقُ ٱلنَّهَارِۚ وَكُلَّ فِي فَلَكٖ يَسْبَحُونَ ۝٤٠ وَءَايَةَ
لَّهُمْ أَنَّا حَمَلْنَا ذُرِّيَّتَهُمْ فِي ٱلْفُلْكِ ٱلْمَشْحُونِ ۝٤١ وَخَلَقْنَا لَهُم
مِّن مِّثْلِهِۦ مَا يَرْكَبُونَ ۝٤٢ وَإِن نَّشَأْ نُغْرِقْهُمْ فَلَا صَرِيخَ لَهُمْ وَلَا
هُمْ يُنقَذُونَ ۝٤٣ إِلَّا رَحْمَةٗ مِّنَّا وَمَتَٰعًا إِلَىٰ حِينٖ ۝٤٤ وَإِذَا قِيلَ
لَهُمُ ٱتَّقُواْ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيكُمْ وَمَا خَلْفَكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ ۝٤٥
وَمَا تَأْتِيهِم مِّنْ ءَايَةٖ مِّنْ ءَايَٰتِ رَبِّهِمْ إِلَّا كَانُواْ عَنْهَا مُعْرِضِينَ
۝٤٦ وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ أَنفِقُواْ مِمَّا رَزَقَكُمُ ٱللَّهُ قَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ
لِلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓاْ أَنُطْعِمُ مَن لَّوْ يَشَآءُ ٱللَّهُ أَطْعَمَهُٓ إِنْ أَنتُمْ
إِلَّا فِي ضَلَٰلٖ مُّبِينٖ ۝٤٧ وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَىٰ هَٰذَا ٱلْوَعْدُ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ
۝٤٨ مَا يَنظُرُونَ إِلَّا صَيْحَةٗ وَٰحِدَةٗ تَأْخُذُهُمْ وَهُمْ يَخِصِّمُونَ
۝٤٩ فَلَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ تَوْصِيَةٗ وَلَآ إِلَىٰٓ أَهْلِهِمْ يَرْجِعُونَ
۝٥٠ وَنُفِخَ فِي ٱلصُّورِ فَإِذَا هُم مِّنَ ٱلْأَجْدَاثِ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِمْ يَنسِلُونَ
۝٥١ قَالُواْ يَٰوَيْلَنَا مَنۢ بَعَثَنَا مِن مَّرْقَدِنَاۜ هَٰذَا مَا وَعَدَ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ
وَصَدَقَ ٱلْمُرْسَلُونَ ۝٥٢ إِن كَانَتْ إِلَّا صَيْحَةٗ وَٰحِدَةٗ
فَإِذَا هُمْ جَمِيعَ لَّدَيْنَا مُحْضَرُونَ ۝٥٣ فَٱلْيَوْمَ لَا تُظْلَمُ نَفْسَ
شَيْـٔٗا وَلَا تُجْزَوْنَ إِلَّا مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ ۝٥٤ إِنَّ
أَصْحَٰبَ ٱلْجَنَّةِ ٱلْيَوْمَ فِي شُغُلٖ فَٰكِهُونَ ۝٥٥ هُمْ وَأَزْوَٰجُهُمْ فِي
ظِلَٰلٍ عَلَى ٱلْأَرَآئِكِ مُتَّكِـُٔونَ ۝٥٦ لَهُمْ فِيهَا فَٰكِهَةَ وَلَهُم
مَّا يَدَّعُونَ ۝٥٧ سَلَٰمَ قَوْلٗا مِّن رَّبّٖ رَّحِيمٖ ۝٥٨ وَٱمْتَٰزُواْ ٱلْيَوْمَ
أَيُّهَا ٱلْمُجْرِمُونَ ۝٥٩ أَلَمْ أَعْهَدْ إِلَيْكُمْ يَٰبَنِيٓ ءَادَمَ أَن
لَّا تَعْبُدُواْ ٱلشَّيْطَٰنَۖ إِنَّهُ لَكُمْ عَدُوَّ مُّبِينَ ۝٦٠ وَأَنِ ٱعْبُدُونِيۚ
هَٰذَا صِرَٰطَ مُّسْتَقِيمَ ۝٦١ وَلَقَدْ أَضَلَّ مِنكُمْ جِبِلّٗا
كَثِيرًاۖ أَفَلَمْ تَكُونُواْ تَعْقِلُونَ ۝٦٢ هَٰذِهِۦ جَهَنَّمُ ٱلَّتِي كُنتُمْ
تُوعَدُونَ ۝٦٣ ٱصْلَوْهَا ٱلْيَوْمَ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَكْفُرُونَ ۝٦٤ ٱلْيَوْمَ
نَخْتِمُ عَلَىٰٓ أَفْوَٰهِهِمْ وَتُكَلِّمُنَآ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَتَشْهَدُ أَرْجُلُهُم بِمَا
كَانُواْ يَكْسِبُونَ ۝٦٥ وَلَوْ نَشَآءُ لَطَمَسْنَا عَلَىٰٓ أَعْيُنِهِمْ فَٱسْتَبَقُواْ
ٱلصِّرَٰطَ فَأَنَّىٰ يُبْصِرُونَ ۝٦٦ وَلَوْ نَشَآءُ لَمَسَخْنَٰهُمْ عَلَىٰ
مَكَانَتِهِمْ فَمَا ٱسْتَطَٰعُواْ مُضِيّٗا وَلَا يَرْجِعُونَ ۝٦٧
وَمَن نُّعَمِّرْهُ نُنَكِّسْهُ فِي ٱلْخَلْقِۚ أَفَلَا يَعْقِلُونَ ۝٦٨ وَمَا
عَلَّمْنَٰهُ ٱلشِّعْرَ وَمَا يَنۢبَغِي لَهُٓۚ إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكْرَ وَقُرْءَانَ مُّبِينَ ۝٦٩
لِّيُنذِرَ مَن كَانَ حَيّٗا وَيَحِقَّ ٱلْقَوْلُ عَلَى ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ ۝٧٠ أَوَلَمْ
يَرَوْاْ أَنَّا خَلَقْنَا لَهُم مِّمَّا عَمِلَتْ أَيْدِينَآ أَنْعَٰمٗا فَهُمْ لَهَا مَٰلِكُونَ
۝٧١ وَذَلَّلْنَٰهَا لَهُمْ فَمِنْهَا رَكُوبُهُمْ وَمِنْهَا يَأْكُلُونَ ۝٧٢
وَلَهُمْ فِيهَا مَنَٰفِعُ وَمَشَارِبُۚ أَفَلَا يَشْكُرُونَ ۝٧٣ وَٱتَّخَذُواْ مِن
دُونِ ٱللَّهِ ءَالِهَةٗ لَّعَلَّهُمْ يُنصَرُونَ ۝٧٤ لَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ نَصْرَهُمْ
وَهُمْ لَهُمْ جُندَ مُّحْضَرُونَ ۝٧٥ فَلَا يَحْزُنكَ قَوْلُهُمْۘ إِنَّا
نَعْلَمُ مَا يُسِرُّونَ وَمَا يُعْلِنُونَ ۝٧٦ أَوَلَمْ يَرَ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ أَنَّا خَلَقْنَٰهُ
مِن نُّطْفَةٖ فَإِذَا هُوَ خَصِيمَ مُّبِينَ ۝٧٧ وَضَرَبَ لَنَا مَثَلٗا
وَنَسِيَ خَلْقَهُۖ قَالَ مَن يُحْيِ ٱلْعِظَٰمَ وَهِيَ رَمِيمَ ۝٧٨ قُلْ
يُحْيِيهَا ٱلَّذِيٓ أَنشَأَهَآ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٖۖ وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ خَلْقٍ عَلِيمٌ ۝٧٩
ٱلَّذِي جَعَلَ لَكُم مِّنَ ٱلشَّجَرِ ٱلْأَخْضَرِ نَارٗا فَإِذَآ أَنتُم مِّنْهُ
تُوقِدُونَ ۝٨٠ أَوَلَيْسَ ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ بِقَٰدِرٍ
عَلَىٰٓ أَن يَخْلُقَ مِثْلَهُمۚ بَلَىٰ وَهُوَ ٱلْخَلَّٰقُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ ۝٨١ إِنَّمَآ
أَمْرُهُٓ إِذَآ أَرَادَ شَيْـًٔا أَن يَقُولَ لَهُ كُن فَيَكُونُ ۝٨٢ فَسُبْحَٰنَ
ٱلَّذِي بِيَدِهِۦ مَلَكُوتُ كُلِّ شَيْءٖ وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ ۝٨٣
ﱜ ﱝ ﱞ ﱟ ﱠ ﱡ ﱢ ﱣ ﱤ
ﱦ ﱧ ﱨ ﱩ ﱪ ﱫ ﱬ ﱭ ﱮ
ﱯ ﱰ ﱱ ﱲ ﱳ ﱴ ﱵ ﱶ ﱷ ﱸ ﱹ
ﱺ ﱻ ﱼ ﱽ ﱾ ﱿ ﲀ ﲁ ﲂ ﲃ ﲄ
ﲅ ﲆ ﲇ ﲈ ﲉ ﲊ ﲋ ﲌ ﲍ
ﲎ ﲏ ﲐ ﲑ ﲒ ﲓ ﲔ ﲕ
